it took several months before an update was given that the team will finally update the code, this is after the community has been complaining for awhile about the lack of action from the devs part. Like i said no one asked for an ip block but an imminent algo change to limit the impact would have been nice. But they waited till the coin fell from a stable 1k to lower 200 sat to act, all the while giving the player enough time to accumulate to basically control the value for a really long time. As for the perceived general positive conduct on discord, it quite obvious that any deviation from the general happy go lucky, its raining shrapnel but its all good comment will result in a ban under the guise that banning fud  Oh and its easy to talk about letting it go, when you don't have several thousands invested when stability was attained at 1k, and watched that invest blew to pieces due to inaction from the dev. Wouldn't be that bad if there wasn't an acct with 2 million coins waiting to dump soon as there is a perceived growth and we also don't have a player (who has made it obvious, he is not interested in positively affecting the value) that is basically in position to control the value for a really long time. So, am sure there are enough shills to post how great every thing is, and i will provide the info related to the other side of the coin. so a prospective investor has the full story. |

As mining this coin, And no way it's profitable to mine and sell at this price, so I seriously doubt that is the case. arionum-gpu-miner seems to quit for some batch numbers... but it also has different intensity for cpu and gpu blocks, -b 48 -t 1 on GPU blocks is fine with minor UI lag, but on CPU blocks it just makes PC stutter like hell  totally unusable for desktop, if you have a dedicated mining rig then yes, you don't care, so please leave with your "everybody is happy with the mining software", because at least 1 doesn't. currently only ariocppminer works perfectly, but it's only for CPU oh, Judas! ariominer with any intensity makes PC unusable.
arionum-gpu-miner doesn't start mining and just quits after GPU init (or after new block if it manages to actually start)...

Some information about the upcoming Arionum updates:
- There will be a hard fork at block 80.000 which will update the mining system and will implement the alias system.
- The development has been finished on both mining and the alias system. Currently they are undergoing tests.
- The mining system will be changed to a hybrid mining system in which 1 block is given to CPU miners, 1 to GPU and 1 to masternode staking.
- Masternodes will be implemented starting block 80.000
- To create a masternode you will need 100.000 ARO and you will lock those funds as colateral for minimum 3+1 months.
- The masternodes will be winning blocks based on a Proof of Stake system.
- There is no limit on the number of the total masternodes.
- The masternodes will be used for the project governance and for taking decisions regarding the Arionum blockchain. For example, voting for new features etc (implemented at a later stage)
- The masternodes will be used for handling asset transactions (implemented at a later stage)
- It's possible to implement some sort of sidechain for much faster transactions using the masternodes, at a later date.
- We have implemented a bootstrapping feature to have the nodes do the initial sync much faster.

There are one huge dumper who solomine on two wallets. And almost every day he dumps tens and hundreds of thousands of Aro coins on the exchangehe. Also, during past 100 blocks #57473-57572 (as of time of writing this post) he found 44 blocks, that's means that his hashrate is about 100Kh/s. While total hash rate of all public pools - Aropool.com, aro.cool, aro.party and arionum.rocks is about 105+4+25+2=136Kh/s It's impossible to deploy such huge amount of aws, gcp instances to achieve 100 Kh/s on arionum network. I'm doubt that he is legit miner and not any kind of botnet or something like that. This means that an unknown person is controls almost the same hashrate as all miners on all public pools - it's about 610 miners Don't think that this is a healthy situation for Arionum coin.
