Hello members of the DUEC community, within the following week and a half we are going to be reaching out to the winners of the lottery to arrange a quick walk-through of the alpha algorithm test for our distribution network as the launch is closer than ever, we have had multiple communications with HitBTC in the past 2 weeks and we received confirmation that all the paperwork has been finalized. Although arriving at this point has taken significantly more time than we originally estimated and at times our communication with all of you hasn't been as fluent as you all deserve, this as been due to the fact that we've been putting all our efforts, not only in getting DUEC launched but equally important to ensure the health of the project long term. For those of you who have emailed us in the last couple of weeks, we are going to be addressing the most common inquiries on this thread (if we haven't done so already), and we will be replying personally to any remaining questions not answered in the thread. We have come a long way together and your patience, support and contribution to this project will be rewarded very soon.       

In preparation to the listing of DUEC we did want to invite all our stage 1 pre-sale participants to email us to support@duecoin.io with their initial valid DUEC address. As part of our ICO Platform launch we will be doing an alpha algorithm test for our distribution network, and who better to participate than our community.
There will be 2 phases to this, and the first phase will reward a quantitative number of DUEC to each wallet on 1st day of launch, while the second phase will act after the 1st week.

Hello members of the DUEC community, we wanted to share some positive updates for all of you.
Regarding our HitBTC listing, we did want to give a more thorough explanation and shed some accurate light. Everything there is still moving forward, but there were a large number of changes to the listing procedure and unfortunately we, as a coin, were caught up in it.
From our last conversation, it does seem to be at the last leg, so we’re happy to inform you guys, that it should now just be around the corner.
More or less, due to the dramatic uptick in ICO’s, the industry was constantly adjusting on the fly to pending regulations as well as pending requirements whether that be banking, legal, or just general requirements. Throughout this we’ve been doing our best to comply accordingly, but in the ever so adapting industry, it’s just taken longer than expected. Fortunately, everything does seem to be wrapping up, we look forward to another update within the next 2 weeks.

As we understand this, Shilling (SH) won on August 15th, and DUEC is winning the vote after that one; as TanchikG mentioned this is not one of the exchanges we are referring to when we make reference to the exchanges that are going to list DUEC. However, I do want to point out that the amount of votes DUEC has received in an exchange previously unknown to us, is a positive indicator of the participation and interest in DUEC as both the listing and the voting are the direct result of the involvement of the DUEC community members.

We agree with your assessment about improving our communication and based on your post as well as a previous post that referenced communication issues with, manly, our Facebook and Twitter accounts, we are replacing the people in charge of those social media accounts, communication through Twitter and Facebook should improve before the end of the week.
In regards to HITBTC, we cannot disclose the details, however we can say that all the information relevant to finally getting DUEC listed has been sent to them and we are just awaiting confirmation; and while some minor exchanges have shown interest in DUEC we are concentrating mainly on the most prominent one, even though, as you posted, they also happen to be the most expensive ones.
I have forwarded your suggestions about adding atomic swaps, more privacy functions to the wallet, and revamping the mobile wallet versions to our dev team and we are working on a lot of new stuff to increase the adoption of DUEC upon being listed.

Although I’ve read that there are people who have some problems with HITBTC from the client’s end and I cannot attest to that, the only thing that I can say about HITBTC is that the delays we are experiencing with them are directly related to them upping the ante in regards to doing their due diligence when it come to listing coins, if anything that should reflect positively on them. In regards to the subject of profit, all exchanges list only coins they can profit from, they are not charities, that is how exchanges are run (all of them).

I believe you have misunderstood the answer previously provided. We literally said "we will always do our best to use some sort of OfficialDuecoin name or variation of it". Obviously we cannot keep other people from registering on a 3rd party site with a similar name, but when it is us we do our best to point out that it is an official account. If someone has said otherwise please show me where? I have sent notice to our devteam that some email addresses of the new departments weren't working properly, and they have all been fixed now.
We have contacted HITBTC with a positive response, they will post an update soon.

I don't know what you mean by "another new account" since I was the one who initiated the ANN thread (go to page 1 and look at which user posted post #1)
In regards to any issue you are having with another company or person I suggest to deal with them. There were a number of companies that approached us to promoted Duecoin to their clients, and obviously we don't know the names of each of the employees on each of the companies, nor do we have any saying or part on what these companies do after they fulfill their agreement with us (promoting DUEC)

The other exchanges listing DUEC are announcing it individually based on their progress integrating the tech, as we are not the only crypto they are listing on their exchanges. An African exchange "Bitaffrex" recently twitted the following:

​We certainly don't put all our eggs on the same basket but we have to respect the requests made by the exchanges to be themselves the ones announcing the listing of DUEC.
In regards to the beta testing of the UI, NDAs are involved in order to protect that project and the relevant parties will be proving us with feedback directly, in turn we will update the DUEC community of the progress in such a way as to not harm it's potential success.
Regarding the website, we don't want to, as you said, cut and paste anything, nor do we want to be redundant by reposing all the information everywhere; we want to provide relevant information to addressed the specific concerns of each group as many of the members of the Duecoin community have shown interest in different areas of the project. In regards to the mining pool, I have informed our tech team and as soon as they give me an update I will post it here.   

Thank you HeptaCoin for bringing this to our attention, if you look closely at the authors/users who posted any of these articles you will see that it wasn't us as we will always do our best to use some sort of OfficialDuecoin name or variation of it; Steemit is a platform where journalists, bloggers, and basically anyone can write articles of interest and when a particular article is trending the author starts making micro commissions from it, this attracts people from all over the world to write articles of hot subjects and in many occasions they are not as proficient in English as they think or they simply don't care, while many of them will make a genuine effort to write properly, not all of them will. The best way to get, up to date, quality information is to follow us on our social media accounts. We are updating the information on the site but in the meantime you can search for Duecoin on Facebook and Twitter since those are the more active ones.

Lottery
DUEC is excited to announce the start of a weekly lottery starting on the 15th January and ending six weeks later on Friday 23rd February.

Exchange Announcement
We are able to formally confirm that we have been accepted to list DUEC on HitBTC, one of the world's elite cryptocurrency exchanges. Once the acceptance and review process is complete, we will launch on the HitBTC exchange. According to HitBTC, this should be a +/- 3 week process and is already under way..

We are deeply invested in the token registration process with several other top end crypto exchanges and will update when the information is confirmed. Crypto exchange token listing is a process, and these things take time. Any anxiety our community members are facing is the result of being a part of a start-up developing a new blockchain based ICO platform and the current environment of the crypto start-up market. The DUEC team and community should be focused on the long-term prospects of DUEC, and have some patience. Don't focus on short term gains. Our advice for everyone in our community is to research our project and wait for HitBTC or one of the other exchanges to list DUEC.

The exchange process has 2 core phases, audits, and integrations. Audits are where information can be released to us, vs integration is what's required for the actual trading to begin. The whole issue here is in regards to the speed of integrations, which unfortunately we have limited control and don't have a way to predict. Aside from HitBTC we hope to have announcements about other exchanges soon.

Rest assured - listing on exchanges is our number one priority at this junction, and we are constantly improving our road map for active market places, and to further our project.

Future Prospects
The biggest purpose that we'll serve should impact both our price and the ICO side of this industry. It is pretty simple; after our exchange launch and road map are in place, our beta infrastructure goes live for our ICO network. So essentially, at this time, all new token sales and ICCs running through our beta, are likely to positively impact DUEC's trading value, and market.

In the event the core prjects is successful, this will help streamline the process for new coins/ tokens to hold more efficient transitions from token sales to exchange launches (which we believe will be one of the booms in this market that continues through 2018, just with more guidelines than 2017).

Future ICOs will have fewer barriers to entry. One such barrier that we as well as our community have felt is the difficulty and cost in contemporary exchange listing. ICOs will be able to offer their token through the DUEC network and proceed to focus on the specific project behind the ICO placing less pressure on the immediacy of exchange listing currently required to raise real capital. This means that’s ICO with proven value will enter into exchanges in a far greater position with a truly price reflection in there token.
