1  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help to improve in order to get merits. on: May 09, 2018, 03:34:35 PM
i have witnessed in this forum that many good answers don't get any merits as they should. i have been trying hard to give quality answers upto my knowledge but merit god doesn't seem to be impressed. i would like some suggestions from OGs to help me getting some merit and improving my btc forum rank. thank you. (if you find any of my post relevant hmu with merit)
Generally, sharing valuable information is one good way to get merits. I often saw that info sharing thread got merits. Sharing some old news won't help, by the way.

Valuable is measured how helpful one idea is and how realistic. Some advises here are supperficial and some are irrelevant at some point. Old news and post are not helpful as it was first posted but still they are just nothing, you will see history on certain threads which will help you see how much it changed from the past and maybe can refreshen us up when we are overloaded.

I get you. It's kinda depressing knowing you have exerted efforts and research just to give the best shot on every points. But then again, we are a community with difference mindset. Maybe there ideas that we think as extraordinary to us but just simple to others. We have different standards and different ideas that may conflict theirs.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long should one have to wait to sell on: May 09, 2018, 03:24:34 PM
It not how long, it should depends on how high in terms of profit you want to receive. Set a goal and wait for it then sell. Many including myself have become greedy at some point where I set my goal but increase my goal once it was reached. Until it dropped down and now it was one of my biggest regret. I was so much attached to the coin and now I am holding them again and wait again And wish not to make the same mistake.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding habit on: May 09, 2018, 02:01:17 PM
It's more of a technique and strategy than a habit. You cannot blame people who sell their earned token immediately. People choose to earn than to hold token that has no assurance. Not all who hold are lucky, if you hold your earned tokens an it will go to the moon then you are lucky but it happens once in a Blue moon. The best way to stop this argument is to sell and leave some just incase it will pump.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Quit your job to promote bounty campaigns fulltime: unrealistic???? on: May 09, 2018, 01:30:12 PM
That is possible but I highly do not recommend it and it is very time consuming. That is why you do not only stick to couple of campaigns, you really a whole lot of them because not all will pay you. Nothing is assurance unlike what you get on your day time job. Do not even attempt to do it if will be only your main source of income. I suggest do it as sideline.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i buy ethereum with all of my money ? on: May 09, 2018, 01:14:50 PM
I agree with how you see Eth but still no matter how good and promising a coin is, it will never be advisable to use all your resources to one certain coin, not even bitcoin. It is better to split your investment and again, do not use all your money. Always leave some on your pocket for your daily needs because no one will know how long you are going to wait until you see your profit.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To whom you dedicate your work on: May 09, 2018, 01:10:46 PM
Many here can actually relate to you. I also grew up having nothing at all except my family. We even belong to poverty level wherein we literally mixed salt on our rice because we cannot even afford to buy other foods, even rice alone is hard to buy, that is how tough our life was. Despite the hardship we still managed  to get a degree with the help of the people who believe in us.

Even until I got a job, it was still not enough with all the needs I need to fill in. And now, that I encountered the crypto thing, this is like an answered prayer that I have been asking. I dedicate my Crypto salary and profit not only to my family but to the society I may be able to help. I want to help those people whom I see my self. I want to sponsor children that needs my help, because I know how hard they are going through.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To whom you dedicate your work on: May 09, 2018, 01:00:58 PM
We have the same story.
It's one of the reason why me and my girlfriend aren't settling down due to financial problems and I flew abroad in order to save money for our planned wedding.
after 3 years working overseas, I came home because I earned my 10-year salary in just half a year through joining bounty campaigns since last year.
Today, I am holding decent amount of crypto assets that my wedding will soon have a budget of more than $20,000 this coming October.
That budget came from crypto assets 100% plus I could even build my new house, buy my own car and invest in some local businesses in order to establish multiple sources of income.

That is a huge amount for a wedding, I bet your wife will be the happiest woman on your wedding day. In our country, many are getting the church blessing through mass wedding. Which usually happens during Fiestas where Couples and many more are wed all together at once, sponsored by the government. Many are taking advantage because it is free, even cakes are free. Congratulations on your engagement the way.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Random alts poping in my wallet? on: May 02, 2018, 07:21:22 AM
Hey guys, just noticed some weird altcoins in my wallet that iv'e never heard of before...
Anybody here know anything about those?
google didn't come out with too much info...

1500 BOBx
666 refereum (?) its just a referral link
and 1 ETH ANONYMIZER

I don't remember registering to any of these airdrops
any help would be much appreciated!  Grin Grin

maybe your wallet is on their list as practice token sending through smart contract.
I heard some incidents and complaints before that's why some of the users are changing their wallets due to this kind of incidents.
I personally think it's still fine rather than some of your coins were stolen.
If I were you, change your MEW wallet and start over and you're fine.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any requirements for announcement threads? on: May 02, 2018, 07:17:35 AM
I was wondering if there are any specific requirements for posting an Announcement thread?
Like post count, rank etc?

Thank you.

anyone can post anything on announcement thread as long as it is relevant to the announcement section thread.
there are too many brand new and newbie level ranks who are posting their own newly published altcoins or crypto projects in order people of members in this forum may get to know.
For me, the only requirement is the composition and the relevance of your announcement post regardless of your rank.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any coin like bitcoin? on: May 02, 2018, 07:10:44 AM
Please house, I will like to know whether out of the existing altcoins anyone of them has potential to be like bitcoin in the nearest future. I will appreciate if i can know the reason why because this will greatly assis me in planning my investment strategy. Thanks.

there are altcoins that will soon become the next bitcoin.
Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Diamond, Bitcoin Gold, Segwit2x, Ethereum and NEO.
those are good altcoins that will soon surpass or follow Bitcoin's steps in the nearest future.
If only you're going to invest today and wait for a couple of years then you'll be soon get higher profits than investing into some other new altcoins.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best cryptocurrency to invest in right now? on: May 02, 2018, 05:07:03 AM
The right time to invest is now. If you want to evaluate your investments, XRP IOTA TRX cryptolaro is the right choice for making money.

I do believe that now or today is the best time to invest although most of the coins are increasing but the rock-bottom of the crypto market price correction was already hit 2 weeks ago and this time the crypto market is on it's way for recovery as the global crypto market Cap had been reached $400 Billion.
investing the top crypto coins will be the best option unless you are spending more time to research some coins that has the potential to be the next top altcoins in coinmarketcap.com.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best cryptocurrency to invest in right now? on: May 02, 2018, 05:03:13 AM
As a beginner in the world of cryptocurrency I am each confused to invest my money. especially now that all prices are down. so I need advice from all users forum to give suggestions. because your advice really helped me to invest my money. thank you

I am a long supporter of Oyster Pearl PRL because for me it is one of the most effective crypto project I ever know as an alternative online file storage in the IOTA Tangle.
this Oyster Pearl PRL is one of the most undervalued and most underrated crypto coin in the market today and it's community is so huge and it is predicted that this coming 4th week of May this year their Main net will launch and surely Oyster PRL price value will be soon popped and surges as high as $10 up to $20 this year.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Oyster Pearl is NOT a scam! Please read - Jullz. on: April 18, 2018, 02:29:54 PM
Scam or not, I'm not sure I'd want to invest in a group that feels it's necessary to step as low as to fight with people that they think are spreading FUD.  Face it everyone, FUD is apart of the crypto game.  We may not like it, we may not want it, but, it's here and probably not going anywhere.  Some people just enjoy to spread FUD, probably even in their non-crypto life.

So, knowing full well that FUD is just part of the game, why would the CEO come out and actually say that they will be deleting anything on their telegram channel that doesn't happen to coincide with what they think or feel.  I mean come on guys, that's just lame.  Censorship to the fullest.  We're all grown-ups, and those with half a brain can weed out the FUD from the facts, so what are you worried about?!?

I'd rather lose all of my money to a complete crap coin, then to give it to a group of people that are just ego-tripping off of their project.  Best of luck to you, sure do hope any more FUD thrown your way doesn't cause you to collapse your coin more.

Their last chance would be the main net so if they still don't launch the main net and the service isn't that good then people will then dump their PRLs no matter what the price value.
Their social community cannot handle the stress and criticism so people started to think that they're not too professional to manage crypto community.
They created Oyster Trading discussion group finally but it costs hundreds of member banning to realize the importance of trading discussion.
That is really a stupid community admins, indeed.

After looking closely.

I am almost 100% sure the fud posts and responses are bots.

Notice how there is always a double space somewhere in their response like this   you see?

Also look at their post history.

Someone wants to get Oyster bad.

I'm done replying to these Bots.

Can't   answer   the   above   questions.  Cut   and   run.

-- Yours truly Rosie the bot

Be boo bop beep (i need oil)

I   guess i f   your   dumb enough   that   there is an intelligent   bot   capable of responding to   posts in a forum   your a prime candidate   to get into   Oyster right before   the airdrop   dump happens.  Sorry I couldn't help myself

Don't you just love how they are incapable of answering the questions.

I'm surprised Jullez  didn't come back with "But we knew since February they were taking funds out"  argument that totally skirts the issue.  Hopefully he is done embarrassing himself.   I may have to take back that he is Bruno.  I think even Bruno is more educated on what is and is not possible with bot technology.

Jullz and Jon Targaryen were just expressing their feelings on why dev had to burst out around 700k coins days before the airdrop and that's the reason why some holders and traders upset that the PRL price value dropped deep significantly.
I think their coin release is the worst move the they just trigger into some ideas and facts that they are acting an exit scam due to their promises of launching their main net that until today still don't exist.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Oyster Pearl is NOT a scam! Please read - Jullz. on: April 18, 2018, 02:20:20 PM
Hey Bruno.

Nice emo outburst you had there on medium.

https://medium.com/oysterprotocol/changes-to-community-operation-e8081837e44a

We are in crypto for freedom.  Not censorship.  The reason your project cannot handle criticism is because there are no answers to your actions.

First off no one cares that Oyster sold 700k.  We care that you told us that Oyster Pearl was 99.999% good to go with Kucoin airdrop support when in fact it was up in the air due to bad communication for 6 weeks leading up to the airdrop while Pearls were sold on the open market.  That's called insider trading.  That is the reason people are upset and dumping.

And if the 700k are not sold yet that is very bad indeed as that supply will be sold and create a further pressure on the price.

And I'm sure the dump and everything was all just a big coincidence.

We ain't buying it.

I agree that Bruno and his telegram Team cannot handle the community properly as most of the members were thinking first what to comment to not being banned.
I myself was banned from their main channel due to some very serious inquiries like the character of the admins that doesn't want tolerate some members other side of issues.
Oyster isn't a scam but the admins behind the community has bigger issues as stated above, they won't handle stress so banning members are their best solution.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: holding and prices will go up ? on: April 18, 2018, 02:15:58 PM
sure now is best time for buying altcoins and hold for long term, we can see now all coins has green and till year end its will grow more than now so dont miss it this best chace for hold

In the crypto market world, the less the coin circulation is the higher the chance of the coin to pump on it's higher price value that's why people and dev main wallets are holding their coins and they're even burning some of the main dev wallet coins just to suppress the total supply in order the suppress the circulating coins and people and investors will then realized that the coin will have the potential to surge and the price value will increase over due time.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: holding and prices will go up ? on: April 18, 2018, 02:13:05 PM
Everyone is holding and saying prices will go up again what can make prices go up again ? I do believe it will go up but not like last December unless something comes in and changes the market so what do you think it could be ?

Holding is one of the reason why an Altcoin will pump because when people wanted to invest more of that coin but the circulation is very limited then that's the reason why it will pump just like Bitcoin.
There are only 21 million of Bitcoins but around 16.5 million is circulating but most of that circulation supply, people and investors are holding it so that's the reason why the Bitcoin price is higher today since the circulation is very limited but at the same time the demand is somehow higher.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is neo good choice for long-term investment ? on: April 18, 2018, 02:09:21 PM
A lot of people said chinese ethereum for neo. I searched a lot about neo , then I bought some neo at 0.0085 btc. But it dropped at 0.0072 now. I know the market all down but neo dissapointed me. What do you think about neo for long-tem for neo ?
neo, Ether and Stellar are good choices for long-term profit, Bitcoin for short-term gain.
more prefer Stellar.

Not only NEO and Stellar but top altcoins as well.
Investing on top altcoins like NEO, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ripple, Stellar, Verge, Tron and other top altcoins will offer us higher opportunities of earning higher profits and earnings.
That is why more investors are investing on top altcoins and other promising coins that has the potential to be the next top altcoins because they are smart investors.
I am a Hodler so I hold my altcoins until I need money badly.

I agree that NEO is for long term investments as every top altcoins do.
Most of the new altcoins that I am getting through bounty campaigns since last year are for my long term investments and for my future goals.
I am one of the lucky guys who earned my 10 year salary that I just earned it in half a year time so until today I am still joining multiple bounty campaigns at the same time so that I could get more new altcoins as much as I can.
So investing NEO, top altcoins and new altcoins are indeed worth holding for long term investments and future goals.
