observing 70,954@Stamp.

Speaking of which:

ROBINHOOD TO BUY BITSTAMP, A GLOBAL CRYPTOCURRENCY EXCHANGE

Is going to be Robinood the WO elected venue for Wall Observing?

Robinhood never ceases to amaze me how they continue to fleece the shit out of their customers.

Obviously preparing for another crazy bull run where they can then lock out the bagholders from selling...

Very, VERY good read!

In short, fuck Bitmain if you want fuck

Good read indeed, thank you.
Especially considering that I just at this very moment when you posted wondered why block 845,948 that got mined a few minutes ago happened to be empty..

Own quite a bunch of their miners but really starting to hate them.

Unfortunately they have quite the monopoly on the hardware ecosystem and used that monopoly to actively fuck over their competition too

Yes, but why? Why do they have a monopoly at all?

With all the chip making capacity in the world, especially in places like Taiwan, and cheap labor worldwide, there should be hundreds of Bitmain competitors by now.

Doesn't compute with me.

Enlighten me.

interesting chart, but 2008 low point is reflecting the pmi after fed rate cuts.
the 2020 low point reflects the pandemic.
the 2024 low point is pre fed rate cuts.

So maybe just maybe it switches bigly if the fed cuts rates in june.

nice find on the chart.

You're not wrong, but keep in mind that the Fed was cutting rates continuously for almost 12 months prior to the big Financial Crisis crash in 2008.

So that could (and mostly likely will) happen again.

They've been artificially propping up the world economy until the presidential elections are over.

Furiosa

Been saying

I'll see it again in 4DX probably. First 4DX since Maverick which was excellent.

Good lord, aren't you guys getting a bit tired of the all the SFC-driven-kick-ass-female-protag-but-weighs-all-of-90-pounds-soaking-wet led movies yet?

I got tired of those about 7 years ago.

My wife won't even watch them anymore, can't stand the never ending pandering.

Promise of what, exactly?

Pure nonsense.

There is no more "policy" around Bitcoin that is needed nor required.

The idea that more "policy" marks the beginning of some kind of adoption is equally laughably stupid. Adoption has been with us for a very long time now.

The market is going wild today. I guess people are seeing the bad housing numbers and are ready for the government to start hitting the markets with stimulus again? Inflation isn’t even under control yet… This is 100% the worst financial state the country has been in during my lifetime. 2008 was bad but if you kept your job asset prices were a blessing. This time everyone is getting hurt by inflation and soon dropping home prices… Meanwhile the government debt is so out of control they will be forced to cut rates, further stoking inflation while home equity gets wiped out to pay for everyday items. Own nothing and be happy, or own Bitcoin and be stressed. LOL

I don't disagree with anything you stated.

But...one thing people don't realize, is that the Fed/Treasury is no longer in the business of printing cheap money for the benefit and investment of the U.S. and it's citizens, or any other established country for that matter.

That time is loooong passed.

They now print money (trillions of $$$) purely for foreign investment and capital expansion. Bush Jr. used to call it "nation building". Whatever, it is is simply injecting huge capital into a foreign country whose middle class is finally on it's way up and up, with the hope of getting major returns on investment (and swindling all the Average Joes out of their hard-earned savings in the process).

It's the world's biggest grift.

The last one was China, but now that has run its course and has imploded. Spectacularly.

This is why everything sux right now, and the Fed had to raise rates.

They are currently in between stages of planning and investment, but still have a LOT of excess money lying around doing fuck all. Which is why you see all the interim churn, and mega free money subsidies (aka ESG/DEI/Woke agenda) going to Hollywood and media rn. And to Tech startups with shit ideas that will go nowhere. And also propping up the banks.

India will be the next country to receive mega $$$$ injection, mark my words. It'll be like China was 10-15 years ago, but with India instead.

That is when you will see Fed rates fall again. They will then be off to the races.

Over the last decade, this market has become all too predictable.

The whales now are gunning for sub 50K, and they will eventually crash it down below that.

Why sub 50K?

Because if you look at the chart, that's where they started seriously pumping the market with heavy leverage on 2/25.

They always short it back down to where they started. Dumping into their own (fake) buy walls.

It's all an effort to get weak hands to shit their pants and sell, and to knock stupid guppy day tarders out of their long positions.

Easy problem to solve tho, just HODL.

Oh gee lookie, another simmering Summer of Love in the U.S. just in time for a highly contentious election year.

What. A. Complete. Shocker.  /s  Roll Eyes

Wouldn't be shocked at all to see a huge red candle down on halving day.

They've been front running the halving since December in anticipation.

So is this about the time that the MSM tells the Average Joe public that the halving was a big nothing burger?

That the Spot ETFs were a big nothing burger?

That none of us should have invested more than $1000 into Bitcoin?

That Bitcoin is just a pipe dream investment scam?

Yeah, same shit, different year.  Roll Eyes  Tongue

Goodbye, Sam Bankman-Fried
Though I never knew you at all
You were a curly haired scamming cunt
While those around you had a ball

They crawled out of the woodwork
And like you, they all belong in jail
You only got 25 years behind bars
But I'm so glad that we got to see you fail

Lol, what a fkn joke.

The establishment propped this guy up, gave him oodles of cash, and gave him all the rope in the world to hang himself.

And he did. Just like they knew he would.

What better way to produce the "rug pull" future event, than to allow it to create itself?

Then when it all collapses, they can swoop in and clean it all up, all nice and tidy, and then send the signal to the normies that "It's all clear to invest now. No worries. This kind of thing won't happen again in the future."

Sure it won't.   Wink Roll Eyes   Roll Eyes

As funny as it is to see him fail, as always, I would have preferred to see the ones he donated to and clearly kept the charade going as long as no one found out, to be locked up.

Ya know what one of the biggest kickers of this whole thing is?

Quote
"Both Joseph Bankman and Barbara Fried, who are Stanford Law professors, were sitting in the first row of the courtroom gallery during the sentencing."

Wow, top Standford Law profs, and they couldn't advise their son on how to stay out of fucking jail by avoiding massive financial fraud.  Roll Eyes

I mean, who was the CLO on his payroll? Daffy Duck?

This whole thing reeks.

I have so much to post, i just don't know where to begin!..

Friend.. Friend... and Friend

Friend of mine said I was lucky with Bitcoin, being in early... I looked at him and said, are you serious, you think i was lucky? you think this was all luck? I had to correct him and said i was smart with my decisions, it was written in black and white (pun intended)! not lucky, but smart. You should have listened to me, but here we are... The envy in their eyes are enough to show their true colours! It's amazing what financial insecurity does to people.

I've stopped talking about Bitcoin back in 2021/22, i actually was thinking about the passion i had when discussing the potential of Bitcoin and how you should be looking to accumulate and diversify into it! Was even talking to random seller of a Lambo back in 2018! now i only converse in minor conversation. Tend to throw out lines like, yeah still got some here and there... nah wouldn't have a clue where the price will be.

Another friend, he'd bought in near the top of the cycle in 2021. I was publicly shamed by him, I'll never forget that! What happened, Apparently, I was the bad guy because I let him buy at the top! What it showed me was he wasn't mentally ready to leave the mass! Didn't understand what long term investing is!

I've given up, it no longer my job to educate YOU (i mean the people i know)...

Now that we've made a new ATH, let's all take a moment to...bash on Jim Cramer (again) about bitcoin.

Because I just love to bash on that fkn idiot.

Anyhoo, back around 2022, I distinctly remember watching a CNBC video with ol' Jimbo when Bitcoin was at the last bottom.

The interviewer asked Cramer when he thought Bitcoin would make a new ATH.

His answer? "Oh, at least another decade..if not more. Let's just say a really loooong time from now."

Fuck. That. Guy.  Roll Eyes

Just a PSA reminder to never, ever listen to the MSM talking heads wrt the Bitcoin market.

This is absolutely insane:

The Coinbase, $COIN, crash just erased $100 BILLION of market cap in #Bitcoin in 15 minutes.

Between 12:15 PM ET and 12:30 PM ET, Bitcoin fell from $64,000 to $59,000.

This was a near 9% swing in 15 minutes right as many Coinbase users began showing a $0 balance in their account.

It also happened to occur just as Bitcoin was less than 10% away from a new all time high.

Coinbase is reportedly still working on fixing the issue.

What just happened?

This afternoon I have my annual performance review.

If I don't get a good raise, owning some BTC might make me do stupid things like quitting, at current prices...

Gotta love the "modern world's" version of the performance review:

Where your manager has no fucking clue what you did all year or how hard you actually worked, and doesn't really care. So they now make you "performance review" yourself. FFS.

And whether you give yourself high marks or not, they literally could give a shit either way.

You'll get (or not get) exactly what they had already decided months back at the C-level meeting. The "performance review" just being a formality to placate the plebs.

I do not do weed anymore. but it is not a terrible drug. far safer than drinking.

All I need to know is that I've met alot of Mean Drunks but never once a Mean Pothead.

That may be true, but in my entire life I've never met a pothead who didn't also drink. At the same time.

That's why when this supposed truism comes up of "marijuana is safer than alcohol" I always chuckle to myself and think, "How would you know?"
