Yeah. It's been more than 7 years since we exposed the scam, but still... Smiley It was even reported by BBC!

Wow... it took over 6 years. Smiley

Thanks for the reply, so FAIL is done, too bad, I thought it would rise again. Good luck on your new project.

I don't ever want to say "we are done", but yeah... the future doesn't look too bright.

P.S. There won't be any other projects coming from me personally. I don't hop on coin to coin like many did back in 2013-2015. Smiley

We must not give up. Is there an official Telegram FailCoin group? The main problem, as you wrote, is the lack of developer. We must invite the FailCoin community via Facebook, Twitter, Bitcointalk, Telegram etc. to get involved in helping to find a developer. Of course, money is always involved, but it is possible that some developer (because FailCoin is a great project with a resistant community that still exists today in spite of everything) will find his interest and over time, as FailCoin grows, to take the big amount of money. Just if we just look through google that YouTube has about "Fail" 380,000,000 results, what more do I need to say. Show it to a potential developer and some will already be founded. We should, if you haven't already, to contacted FailArmy on YouTube, maybe we can make some cooperation with them.

Believe me, we tried hard, but found no one. Reviving FAIL, as it is, will be a waste of time. Personally, I wanted a digital currency based on AVAX, but we will need very skilled developerS (capital "S", because I don't think 1 would be enough), and for this we need funding.

Cheers,
Spartak

Hello,

Unfortunately, this is not valid. FAILCoin is currently not tracked by CoinMarketCap. I wish I can say more, but we have nothing. Latest talks with developers failed... like the coin... for now. Smiley

Cheers!

I find discord easier to navigate and organize as well.

@chrysophylax: Could you please share the discord server link?

Isaac,

I will create one, don't worry. Lets first see what Adam says on Telegram.

Our one is the ChainWorks Industries Discord Server ...

So that server concerns itself with all things CWI, CWI Developments and Partner Projects only. You are more than welcome to join us as well as the FAILServer when it comes online. All details are in our main CWI BCTThread in my Sig.

spartak_t will create the FAILCoin one - as he pretty much is the FAIL Advocate for the Thread and Community. I trust his judgement with all this also.

We are currently in discussion and only initial discussions at that. But I have worked with (as well as dealt with and been helped by) Adam for many years now, and watched this thread with eagerness for progression, only to see it let down time and time again. Let's see what we can come up with if we are all to work together on this. For me, it is not so much the Coin itself, but the people behind it - I know most and have a lot of respect for them.

#crysx

Thanks for the kind words and that you want to help us out. Wink We are talking with Adam and Isaac on Telegram in the past two days, and we are trying to figure out how to proceed.

Yeah. Any news about developers?

Hello,

Nope. There are few of us who still did not gave up on the project, but none of us are coders.

Hi Mate ...

What would you like to see done with FAIL?

#crysx

Hey bud,

There are so many innovations now, so I honestly have no idea. Smiley Reached you in Skype, I hope you are still using it.

Cheers,
Spartak

Why don't you make a discord server for this? Maybe get some of us there for discussion?

Yo Isaac. Long time no see. Smiley

We can do that maybe this Saturday? I think we can just create a Telegram group and discuss it there. I am in touch with Adam in there anyway.

Let me know what you think.

I don't use Telegram at all ...

Discord or Skype - we have our own CWI Server on Discord or I could join yours or a new one can be created. I will never use Telegram especially due to the phone number.

#crysx

We'll work this out. It's like the easiest thing... Smiley

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on Avalanche (AVAX)? on: March 01, 2021, 03:56:03 AM
I`m an AVAX holder. I got it in social mining round on the early stage of the project. I`m close to the Avalanche community and know many people there are very optimistic about the project. Despite on the price fall and some  technical problems with the blockchain, I still believe it can be a new Ethereum, so all we need to do is wait for building an ecosystem around the Avalanche

What kind of technical problems?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on Avalanche (AVAX)? on: February 28, 2021, 08:28:52 AM
I've read that it requires 2000 AVAX to run a full node, which stakes 13%/year. Does it mean that AVAX's total supply will be increasing by 13% each year?
Yes 2000 avax is required for the staking. Too bad I only have less than that so can't really do the staking only the delegates reward. Total supply? Or you mean the circulating supply? It does add additional from staking but not sure if this will be on total since they have a fixed supply of avax coin. Could be wrong, but let me check it.

Yeah, I meant circulating supply. If that is the case, then AVAX's supply will be increasing by ~9.5M/year, which means total supply (360M) will be reached in about 30 years. But then again, coinmarketcap shows total supply as 360M yet max supply is 720M.

I guess I should read more.

Avax and Dot are projects that am also following closely and imvested on, I believe they have something to offer in blockchain, my regret is I come in when the price is high so getting 2000 avax for staking will cost some $$ but I believe it is doable when and if this dip will persist.

DOT also looks nice, but I feel that it's too expensive already.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on Avalanche (AVAX)? on: February 28, 2021, 05:19:26 AM
Hi there I'm a holder of Avalanche tokens. For me it's one of the good new project that launch last year. They keep progressing on their blockchain and expand their ecosystem.

I've even created a thread before about avalanche here.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5264458.msg54865558#msg54865558

You can see the updates there before but I'm too busy to be able to follow up the information.

We are all busy. Smiley That's why I'm still catching up with the new stuff. I have one question, since it appears you know much more than me about the project. I've read that it requires 2000 AVAX to run a full node, which stakes 13%/year. Does it mean that AVAX's total supply will be increasing by 13% each year?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What are your thoughts on Avalanche (AVAX)? on: February 28, 2021, 03:55:13 AM
Hi guys,

Long time no see.

I was wondering if there are any AVAX "fans", and/or do you think it has competitors? I've been stuck on mostly older projects, but I'm lately trying to learn more about DeFi's.

Cheers!

Hi there,

Not a bad idea, but... we were abandoned by our developer. I am pretty sure that our team can gather/assemble and work on FAIL again, but it's pointless without developer/s. Personally, I always wanted a developer who is ready to work for the idea and percentage of FAIL, but my dream turned out to be "utopic" - everyone wants money. Smiley

I'm still open for proposals though.

Cheers,
Spartak
19  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Interviews] with Bitcointalk members on: November 04, 2020, 12:33:46 AM
Hello.
I want to interview you. I hope for your consent.

Well... I guess I have to post this by myself. Smiley

Quote
1. When and why did you become interested in cryptocurrencies?

It was in the Spring of 2013. Why? I thought it's a great concept.

Quote
2. When and why did you buy your first bitcoin?

Hm... I think I did it only once some 3 years ago. Needed about $200 in Bitcoin, but I didn't want to sell any alts.

Quote
3. How did you get on the forum?

I actually started with CryptoCoinTalk and later registered on BitcoinTalk.

Quote
4.1. What prevents mass adoption of cryptocurrencies?

There are still millions of people who refuse to believe in them. Also, we've had a lot of scams going on... especially in 2014-2015.

Quote

4.2. How do you think mass advertising of gambling projects has a positive effect on the development of the forum or harms the community?

I don't care to be honest. Anyone is free to choose what to read and where to invest.

Quote
4.3. How do you consider whether 2-3 years of experience in cryptocurrency is enough to successfully invest or does an investor need to receive special education?

I guess it depends on the person, but I'd say that cryptocurrencies may be compared to life - you never stop learning.

Quote
5. What do you think of the current Merit system and signature campaigns?  Do they harm the forum?

I am not very active lately so I don't know how this works.

Quote
6. The most useful forum topic? Most helpful users?

Can't say, but maybe "Scam Accusations". I was relatively active until couple of years ago and I've seen some very active members throughout the years. I think it will be fair to say that they saved millions of dollars in potential lost investments.

Quote
7. 3 things you would implement on the forum?

No idea. For me it was/is good enough to participate in discussions. Changes are not always good.

Quote
8. Do you trade on exchanges or invest in projects?

I trade on a daily basis (day trading).

Quote
9. Tell a story about your big profit or big loss?

Uh... there are more than just one story. I failed big time with 10s of different digital currencies. My first big failure was with Fedora/TIPS. Others? BlackCoin, Viacoin, Einsteinium, SaffronCoin and many more...

Quote
10. What do you think about the DEFI ecosystem?

Crap...

Quote
11. Is your anonymity a vital necessity or precaution?

I never cared about it. I believe I was one of the first (if not the first) who posted a picture of his ID.

Quote
12. The last cryptocurrency book you read?

Not my thing. I do read, but not books related to cryptocurrency.

Quote
13. Advise 3 cryptocurrencies/tokens for investment in the next 1-2 years?

I like BAT and Aragon.

Quote
14. How much will Bitcoin cost at the end of 2020?

I thought it can reach $25,000 by 2021, but I won't be surprised if it happens this year...

Quote
15. P.S. (Optional)

Stay safe all!

Yes, BTCPop will delete the coin. I asked them.
And there is nowhere to transfer the coin, since input on a single exchange is disabled forever.

I see... Well, at this point, only Jure can put some more light.
