1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you're ~15% in the red, is it crazy to sell? on: December 25, 2018, 11:00:25 AM
It will depend on the coin you decide to buy and the You in person so if you trade well and you now the coin Holding might be a good option but if you dont i will suggest you back away and sell at low loss than going so high and then crashing your funds out
I think it is now a fluctuating market and in this market if someone is losing in his coins then he have to wait and  do not need to worry and to sell. If we will be in patience and will wait for longer time with our coins then the price of that coin will also recover and will reach to more higher value to profit the holders.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank of America tries to be mobile and search development possibilities... on: December 03, 2018, 12:30:41 PM
It is amazing that all the big companies love blockchain but they see bitcoin as an enemy when it comes to improvement. Now that nasdaq and nyse is working towards getting a Bitcoin ETF all those banks will have to get that as well. Not because they will start loving bitcoin but think about it if the customer wants to get some Bitcoin ETF, either they will provide them with it or the customer will use another bank for it. Which means all those banks that once hated bitcoin and moved against it to stop or delay the progress now forcefully provide bitcoin services in order to keep their customers. It is a great payback from bitcoin and all of us that made bitcoin what it is today. I can't believe we have moved so much in the past 2 years alone. I hope this adoption will continue for a long time with this pace.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm loosing. What to do? on: December 01, 2018, 09:51:56 AM
The market is yet to reach the bottom price but the first thing you to do is believe the market will come back to it glorious days because it will, dont sell at lost price hold your previous coins, quit trading while you invest/accumulate more coins and never invest more than you can afford.

You can clearly see that OP isn't here for Bitcoin's tech, so tell me, what's there to believe in for him?

In markets there is a saying; some times doing nothing is the best option. In other words, find yourself something else to focus on. Try utilize your time in the best possible manner, because sitting here being frustrated about the price is an utter waste of time, because you'll be doing the same thing for months straight. The price won't miraculously rocket up to $10,000 any time soon.

Perhaps it will make OP feel better if he reads himself into Bitcoin. If you have a better understanding of the protocol, it could offer some mental rest, wich is something more people can use right now.
It is true that you should finds a new strategy and technique that can help you to overcome your losses. There are a lot of opportunities here in the cryptocurrency world for you to easily overcome your losses.
One thing I will keep saying is that there are opportunities everywhere, but it takes being smart, curious and vigilant to be able to realize those opportunities and take good advantage of them. Losses are something that are bound to happen, but until you realize the mistake you made that resulted into that, you may find it a little bit hard to understand what you should be doing to be taking the right step into making a better decision next time. You can only be losing when you have sold at loss, but as long as you are still patient, you will realize it pays a lot to do so.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dangers of a HODL’er: on: December 01, 2018, 08:07:13 AM
Everything has advantages and disadvantages. When you hold at  a particular time, it tend to favour you because at a time you don't expect, the assets begin to Moon of increase in value. But sometimes, Holding can he risky. You hold and your entire money goes into the wind.
Holding may only be risky in the short term if the market goes down, or probably in the long term if the market ends up dead. But considering the former, the only thing you have to do is just to be patient as long as you know what you are holding has a great potential and for the latter, there is no way something with a great potential will quickly just die off like that, considering the fact that this is not the first time that bitcoin is going to be experiencing something of this nature and this is basically not going to be the last time, but how you are able to play smart in every situation that counts.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the most expensive commodity at the moment? on: November 30, 2018, 06:11:55 AM
There are a lot of third world countries that have big troubles over small stuff on big countries. If the oil prices increases that is a bad news for british people but nothing life changing, if oil prices goes up some country gets the short stick and gets high inflation. Recently I have found old facebook messages of me that I have sent to my wife (girlfriend at the time) and we were talking about our wages and how we were living alright with the amount, that was about 5-6 years ago when I first started working and getting entry level jobs. Now I am making about 3 times the amount and it is still not enough for me, in 5 years the inflation went up so much that I am making 3 times the amount I used to make and still not living as good as those times. If this continues, I don't know what we will be capable of doing in 5 years.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Criteria of a good gambler on: November 24, 2018, 11:05:38 AM
A really nice summary! Thanks for creating and sharing it to this community.

I don't know if you want to include it in your list, but..

Quote
a good gambler knows the math
Knowing exactly how to increase / decrease bets on certain multipliers as well as recognizing patterns & calculating potential profits or losses in real-time will help you avoiding irrational decisions.

But it is almost impossible to know the math of a game if you are new into it. That is why it only applies to well and know gamblers in here. Not all the gamblers know this.

And i know a bunch of them that do not even know what they are playing, they just care about the profit.

No matter the maths you want to know or the strategy you want to build when it comes to gambling, it is a lot better to make sure you are aware of the fact that to be a good gambler, you just have to accept the fact that it is all about luck and it is not easy at all to win anything substantial when it comes to gambling unless you are just some huge lucky dude.

Like you said, a lot of people just tend to care so much about the profit, that they simply leave reality and then at the end, they just end up getting burned. Better to always face the reality at the onset so as not to get totally screwed.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we wait for a big drop in BTC? on: November 22, 2018, 11:46:37 AM
Friends, analysts fear the further and largest decline in Bitcoin. Can it reach the mark below 5000, what do you think?

To tell you frankly, I don't have a doubt in bitcoin even the price so far was declined so much, because I do really believed that it will bounce many times at the right times. Lets see what will happen in the midst of December after forking of Bakkt and Swiss, for sure after this process will see the outcome of the downfall of the market.
Bitcoin always have got good history relating this fact. People always talking bad about bitcoin but it suffered and then it revived back. Sometimes it do falls, but it’s for a very short time.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market is looking all red once again on: November 20, 2018, 10:11:48 AM
Most of us are trader, and all of traders wants profit. No more long term holding, people will sell their cryptocurrency if they get chance to gain profit in form of fiat. They will buy those cryptocurrencies again after the price fall.
Yes you're right.. for current situation may be we can't expect to gain a lot of profit because it really difficult to be realize. We should sell whenever we get chance to sell eventhough we just can earn 2-3% profit. We should be realistic because we never know what will happen in the future.
I doubt it can be this red for too long. People know bitcoin worths more than this, the volume is incredibly low right now because people are not looking to get more bitcoins in the midst of a war but as soon as all of this is done and we are back to normal with just one bitcoin cash and whoever decides to hang up their gloves and accepts a loss we will be back on track for a bull run.

It may not be like some other people think, some people think since we went down so much we will see like 20 thousand from here, that may not be true but if you buy bitcoins at this price than you have a shot at making a lot of money even if it goes back to 6.5 thousand dollars. I would say getting %10-20 profit from any investment is a big success and that is still viable after this war is done.
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is dying? on: November 19, 2018, 01:26:00 PM
I watched some crypto news and everything seems to be even worse than I expected.
is it your first day? because that is only way it explains your surprise about the "crypto news" being terrible about bitcoin. that is what they have always been doing...

Quote
Some crypto experts told that till the end of the year Bitcoin will lose 50% percents and will come to 2500-3000$..
and by "crypto experts" you mean some trolling newbies on the internet, possibly on youtube Cheesy

Quote
What do you think about it? Is it still worth holding or it's time to sell everything and forget about it?
it is still worth holding and it is worth buying more of it  but what YOU should do is to sell your bitcoins and stay away because based on things you said, obviously YOU believe otherwise. and that's the important part, you should act based on you think not what others tell you and live with the consequences.
Bitcoin always dies and always resurrects. It has been like this forever, it has never changed and will never change. All these people who keep saying "this time it is different, this time it is definitely dead" are all wrong. This has no difference than the last time bitcoin fell down and it doesn't have any other difference than the next time it will happen.

The problem with these people calling bitcoin is dead that they are either afraid or really want bitcoin to die in order to be right. There are a lot of people who are not even in bitcoin world who keep saying bitcoin is dead because of anger. They are angry at bitcoin, not because it exists but because they have missed out on bitcoin. They missed out on getting at 30 dollars at 100 at 1000 and many more in between and now they want it to be dead.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading or other business what do you choose? on: November 16, 2018, 07:05:04 AM
In the current digital era, many people are starting to trading Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency because they think Bitcoin trading is profitable from other businesses. Some people again say that business is more profitable than Bitcoin trading.
A lot of people would rather go for a real business than Bitcoin, anyhow it is you will be sure to sell and make some money a day. Bitcoin trading is a risk, it’s volatile and you don’t know what will be the outcome, you can lose the money you have in it. But since there is possibility to combine these two jobs, so you can do just that and have Bitcoin trading as a part time job for making extra money
11  Economy / Economics / Re: 2018 the year of correction? on: November 15, 2018, 07:08:34 AM
If this year is allocated for bitcoin and crypto corrections, then so be it. I know the advantage of correction brings to cryptocurrencies. If that is so, i expect an inflation of crypto prices in the coming months.
This is just a short term thing as we are not even close at all to mainstream adoption, which I solely believe will bring a huge increase in value in the long run. One thing a lot of people find pretty hard to wrap their heads around is that corrections are normal for long term and sustainable growth.

If the market just keeps moving up without some slight corrections or big corrections we are seeing now, it will never turn out well as this is when we will get to eventually see a huge crash, but for a steady gradual growth, over time, it is always sustainable and that is where I believe we are headed.
There is no tool with which you can measure the market. There are some ups and down every time. Price never stops at some point. That is why it is called volatile currency. With every single day passing by, you see a different price of bitcoin. I know this for a long and longtime, but I haven’t seen two days with same value of bitcoin. So, don’t just worry.
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening with cryptocurrency ?? on: October 22, 2018, 10:23:06 AM
I think I will not be really getting into any further down to altcoins for a while. Right now when bitcoin goes up the price of altcoins go down and when the price goes down all market goes down which really makes it a loss-loss situation for altcoins, I would stick to trading at usd-btc prices for a while at least we get another big bull run.

I do not mean sticking to bitcoin for a while for long term investment, of course bitcoin is a great long term investment but altcoins are good for long term investment as well, however they are not really good on daily trading lately. All of this caused by that 2017 prices because ever since than bitcoin price fell down but sometimes went up whereas altcoins never really recovered at all.
13  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: b-ex.io is a scam exchange dont use it on: October 22, 2018, 09:31:16 AM
hi
I made a withdrawal for my XCN coins a few days ago but still is in process mode and I know someone who made a withdrawal for his coin more than 20 days ago but he didn't receive his coin either.
b-ex support system not working for 20 days and you cant submit a support ticket.
and they wont answer any email.

Sometimes, I still tend to wonder why despite the fact that there are so many reputable and a lot better exchanges on ground, there are just some people who like giving themselves stress when it comes to using pathetic exchanges that no one should even be thinking of in the first place.

Foe heaven sake, at least if you want to use an exchange, use an exchange that is very well used in the space, coupled with the fact that some of these new exchanges even have low volume, a whole lot of them are just scams.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will become of Bitcoin if the price keeps falling? on: October 20, 2018, 12:20:55 PM
What will become of Bitcoin if the price keeps falling?
Prices went down from the start of this year: https://www.coinranker.net/cryptocurrency/bitcoin

If the price of Bitcoin decreases, the level of confidence in crypto also clearly decreases. This is an indicator of how the decline caused a decrease in the level of trust. As what we do is that when we trust a coin the price will increase. So what we have to do is continue to increase transactions using Bitcoin and it will definitely increase the price of Bitcoin.

The decline in Bitcoin prices will always occur and all we can do is try to reduce the impact and try to maintain the stability of Bitcoin prices.
I think that bitcoin will disappear from the market because there would be no more mining and no more supply in the market. I will never invest in bitcoin if the price drops continuously. I want the price to go up because many investors are already in loss and if the price drops more they will be completely ruined. This is the time for rising instead of falling. We should hope for a better future.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do you sell coins ? on: October 20, 2018, 08:03:36 AM
Selling of asset has no particular place however, where you sell depends on where that token is listed Also, if the token is not listed where you like to trade will you keep the token. Have it at the back of you mind that sale of token depend on where it is listed.
Selling is not a problem earning is a problem. Anyway if you want to sell your coins, it is right that you can sell your tokens in that exchange where it is listed. If your tokens have priced and you want to sell them it is better to convert them into bitcoin and then sell it. By this way you will find buyers easily and comfortable and you will have a record of your transactions.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin and decreases in 2017 and 2018. on: October 19, 2018, 12:40:30 PM
Every year is victorious for bitcoin as long as it gets developed and globally adopted more and more every year, regardless of price.

if the drastic decline occurs again at the end of December 2018, then I think that bitcoin will fall $ 500.

It doesn't work that way. For BTC to drop from $6500 to $500, it would take another 171.42% decrease. The chances of that happening is extremely slim in my opinion.
Bitcoin's victory is a victory for investors, and bitcoin users. I realize that every year bitcoin always increases for the better, but when bitcoin falls drastically from $ 20K and now bitcoin price only $ 6K, I think it's not a victory for some investors.
What do you think? How do you think about investors who buy when $ 20K?

I always believe that bitcoin can fall to hundreds of dollars again.
I would like to also put another thing into conversation by saying that this was considered a bear run for the past 10 months so I understand why the person is afraid that another fall in the price like this would cripple the economy of bitcoin and we would be all crying however even tho having another decrease like this looks impossible and everyone laughs at him, noone points out one mistake in his logic.

The price was around 3-4k than increased to 20k and than dropped back to 6k levels, which means price could increase from 6k to 42k and than drop to 12k again if everything happened all over again. There was increase before that drop as well, don't forget that.
we can call it the worst year for bitcoin and i don't think it will be up in this year. We can wait for the next year and we should keep our invest up.
Call it worst year or whatever; it is only going to end up being a worst year for those who are actually so keen about looking at the negative side of things most of the time. This is a market and for God sake, you cannot imagine the market to keep moving up all the time.

It is high time you all who complain got used to it, see how you can always make things right for you with every trend of the market, and learn as much as you can to be able to achieve that, which is something a lot of people are always still very lazy to do and then complain still, instead of at least just having some little patience to hold.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you make money from ICO? on: October 18, 2018, 08:32:58 AM
Well if your asking me if I have already make money from ICO then my answer for you is certainly... Yes, I have already make a lot of money from ICO and that was 1 year ago during the time when most of ICOs are legit unlike now that there are lots of fraud ICO which only meant to scam their investors.
Till date I have no investment in cryptocurrency and the source of my earnings is only signature and bounty campaigns. I have made lot of money from campaigns and I run my daily expenses from these campaigns, but I will invest in crypto when I have extra money because I believe that crypto is the only place where I can make big money while doing exactly nothing except waiting.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins better than bicoins right now? on: October 17, 2018, 11:26:32 AM
With the price of bitcoin continuously going down, do you think that altcoins could be better right now than bitcoins? I trust that bitcoin prices will still rise perhaps next year, but with the price still going down, maybe altcoins have a better chance. What do you guys think?

I believe that both of them, bitcoin and altcoins, will go up again. With altcoins you will have more options and price ranges for investments. You can also choose easily the term of the investment with altcoins.
In these days bitcoin is in bad conditions but it doesn’t mean that Altcoin is better than bitcoin. The fluctuation in bitcoin price is more than he biggest Altcoin which is ethereum. So I can say that if some people lost their money due to fall in the price they will recover their money in less time. Just need patience and courage to stay in bitcoin for some more time.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You cannot win in gambling on: October 16, 2018, 07:51:06 AM
Always remember that gambling cannot feed for your family so never do this as a business type of profiteering coz this is not design for this area instead this is for fun,in betting you can ease some sort of stressful days,if thats the only reason why you are playing.but if you put big interests of winning then thats another story to tell
I wish a lot of people can get to wrap their heads around that. Asides feeding family, a whole lot of people usually do think that gambling is something that would always set them up for the future when it comes to hitting a big amount of money, but in the real sense, gambling is just a game of luck with nothing guaranteed and those who are so much with the idea of trying to get something they cannot find, will always end up screwing up eventually and then losing out a lot at the end.

Definitely, you cannot win in gambling except you are very lucky and even if you are lucky, you will only be able to retain that win if you are smart not to push your luck further.
Yeah it is a fact that you cannot win in gambling. Sometimes you will win the bet but on the next day you will lose again. The current situation of bitcoin price is like gambling. One day the price goes up and the next day it drops again. Similarly when you win bet and win some money you will gamble more and the result will always be against your expectations.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: October 16, 2018, 06:59:47 AM
I don’t gamble every day, I place about 3 or 4 bets a week, usually parlays on football. Total time it takes me to do this, maybe 2 hours a week. I know what I want to gamble on, doesn’t usually take me long.
I am not an addict playing online gambling, but every time I get more funds, I make sure to play online gambling for a while, but not in the form of cards or dice, but playing online Crytpo gambling, and it does not take long like hours.

Time is everything in today's world and ensure that you enjoy your time and also it is worth spending those time. If for instance you enjoy then it is good but if you play for money and keep losing then it is waste of time.

As much as you enjoy what you are doing, over time, overdoing it can be very bad actually. You need to at least be able to limit yourself most especially when it comes to gambling a whole lot of the time because the chances of getting addicted pretty fast if you do not, will always be there.

Like you said, time is everything in this world and if you waste your time on things that are not that productive, when you could be using that time to do things that would at least benefit you in the long run, a time will come in your life when you will have yourself to blame for it and retracing when you have gotten to certain age already can be bad.
