1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Season on: Today at 02:40:25 AM
Bayern Munich and Ajax can win the 3 titles in a row, too. But only Real Madrid who could win 5 titles in a row (1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960). This record is unlikely to be repeated by other teams because it will be very difficult to win UCL in 5 consecutive seasons. That's why many people claim that UCL is Real Madrid league, Real Madrid is too dominating this competition.  Cheesy
Bayern Munich, Ajax Amsterdam, Real Madrid and Liverpool are teams that have some dominating seasons in the past but I did not implied about these seasons. It's too far in the past and European football last two or three decades are very different than in 1970s, 1980s and before that.

Since the change from C1 to Champions League, only Real Madrid successfully defend their Champions League title, and this fact shows how hard to become a Champions League winner last three decades.

Even the golden generation of Messi can't dominate UCL. They are defeated by Ronaldo era that was managed by Zidane. Barcelona may dominate La Liga in the era of Messi, but they never can dominate UCL. Real Madrid is surely in another level when it is about UCL. I think people call Real Madrid as the king of UCL is understandable. Sure, no team looks to catch the record of Real Madrid in UCL
It's true so and three consecutive Champions League titles of Real Madrid with Zidane as a head coach, is very magnificent achievement for their club and it's an impressive club performance in Champions League history too.

Manchester City failed to defend their title in the recently completed season too and this again shows very high competitiveness of Champions League. It's hard to win it but it's even much harder to defend your title.

But one day I will become a millionaire...
With only $100 invested in Bitcoin, you will hardly become a millionaire  but you can continue your investment in Bitcoin, with DCA and increase your capital investment.

Bitcoin can increase 10 times from $70,000 to $700,000 and to become a millionaire with that 10x, you need a capital at $100,000.

You can do DCA and use these tools to have idea and calculation for DCA.

He should have let his friend know the reason why he had a bad experience in trading, don't you think? A person who gets into the market and starts making trades without gaining enough knowledge will surely have to face the consequences. You can't become an engineer without education and learning about the field, so how can you expect to become a trader without learning about trading and everything necessary for it?
Trading is not easy and it is a complicated challenge that requires many things to succeed.

You will need to have knowledge of the market in general, trading in either fundamental to technical things, understanding of the psychology of market cycles, capital and risk management strategies then choose a proper one that fits with your own characteristics, and very lastly you need discipline to apply knowledge into your trading practice, to get profit.

Many things can cause losses for a trader especially in this volatile market. That man can make many bad mistakes from lack of knowledge about trading, the market cycle, risk capital management and poor discipline too.

Generally I agree to advice newbies that it's better if they don't trade but focus on investment, long term and invest with pocket money.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers👉Group Stage on: June 13, 2024, 02:18:20 AM
Can you share the data that form this analysis? I feel like this sidelined a lot of things such as group stage, overall team performance, match-ups, etc. I'm not sure how motivated Mbappe and other brilliant players to win individual awards, but I doubt it affects how other countries perform in other groups. I guess you can also redefine what is considered an underdog season. I believe any underdog exists in every competition, but they won't make it past the semis in most scenarios. Even qualifying past the group stage can be an incredible achievement depending on which teams you're looking at.

Btw, I believe you accidentally made a double post. You can delete the previous one since it respond to the same post.
Underdog teams from clubs to national teams don't appear too often. In Euro, we can recall some underdogs like Denmark, Czech, Greece and in Coppa America we can recall Chile but they don't usually appear and win Euro title or Coppa America title.

Strength of a team from club to national level, comes from many players and coach team, a single star player is hard to carry a whole weak team to success and title. Modern football is different than decades ago when one star player with a magnificent tournament was able to carry his team to title. In modern football, a star player is only a piece of a team that need to be strong as a block and not only eleven debut players but alternative players on bench too. With latest changes in total substitutions for each match since Covid-19 pandemic, importance of alternative players becomes bigger. If a team don't have good alternative players, it's more difficult to succeed against competitors.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is China going to shift from Gold to crypto as ICBC considers ETH a digital oil? on: June 13, 2024, 02:08:42 AM
the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), one of the biggest banks in China praises ETH as digital oil as they halt buying Gold. difficult to believe when you read news like this when the country is known for its strict rules. when they allowed Hong Kong to have BTC and ETH ETF, there were already speculations the country may soon be reversing its crypto ban.

with such news, is it a sign?
We can not trust governments and they do things behind the scene, usually they do oppositely to what they announced to their citizens and other countries. Assuming this news is true, I believe that China government through ICBC and maybe other governmental institutions actually did many activities to accumulate Ethereum many months before this announcement.

Think bigger, if they accumulate Ethereum, they would have not ignored Bitcoin.

Chinese government has 190,000 bitcoins even more than this figure.

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Bitcoin Spot ETFs' impact on Gold ETFs on: June 13, 2024, 02:00:48 AM
They must have a good reason why they will close the GOLD ETF and yep you could be right that the reason could be the volume, where when we started to have Bitcoin ETF, the volume of gold decreased or shifted to Bitcoin ETF.
But we need to know what is their reason, could be difficult to manage anymore as they already have Bitcoin ETF?

They have reasons to reconstruct their products and fund managements to reduce cost of operations and maximize benefit for their business. It is story about different ETFs managed by BlackRock but months ago, before and after Bitcoin Spot ETF approvals by SEC people already discussed about how many Bitcoin Spot ETFs in the USA will exist and continue after some time like one or two years.

I read some discussions and news that some predictions lead to conclusion that there will be less than 6 Bitcoin Spot ETFs in the USA after one year or two years. Weak Bitcoin Spot ETFs will have to self close their ETFs and customers will move funds to bigger Bitcoin Spot ETFs.
7  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: June 12, 2024, 02:07:58 AM
How a business responds to accusations or customer issues is also important imo.
Duelbits is good with their customer support and their response to customer complain, accusations as I knew.

Maybe those people saying that lets make FTX great again is just boosting the ego of possible new owner to revive back their service for hoping that they can get their refunds if FTX operation will came back again for second time. But for sure they are not dumb for believing that they would became great again since they already experience the worse case scenario that they didn't imagine that it will happen to that platform.
There will be compensations for ex-FTX customers but compensations won't be fair for their ex-customers by formulas used. It's better to receive compensation than lose all money but I am sure it's hard for ex-FTX customers to feel completely satisfied and happy with refunds they received from new FTX team in future.

Reputation is hard to build, need time and massive combined efforts, so when a business company gets good reputation from their business operations and marketing, they will never want to destroy it by themselves.

8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Season on: June 12, 2024, 01:55:55 AM
I think I don't give too much credit. I only consider it in Guardiola era. Under Guardiola's management, Man City becomes a giant team. They almost win EPL trophy in each season, they also become one of the favorite teams in UCL. Sure, Real Madrid will be always the team which dominates the UCL trophy. The stats is clear, they won 15 trophies.

In history of UEFA C1/ Champions League, there are very few clubs which could win three titles in three consecutive seasons or within several years so to catch Real Madrid's record, Manchester City will spend a long time to get it. They can win some titles but Real Madrid will be able to win more Champions League titles in future too.

Last two decades, Barcelona had some dominating seasons with their golden generation with Messi is a core player but they did not maintain it and they are still far to catch Real Madrid. It's explainable for all clubs as players come and go, start as young players, grow up, succeed, get old and retire. Success for one club can not be from only one generation of players but must be maintained with different generations and Real Madrid do it best so far.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin and Bitcoin Spot ETFs' impact on Gold ETFs on: June 12, 2024, 01:48:27 AM
Grayscale won against SEC. and paved a foundation for BlackRock to join the fight, submit Bitcoin Spot ETF application and finally we had Bitcoin Spot ETF approvals from SEC. in January 2024.

About 6 months later, we had another big surprise with this announcement from BlackRock.

They will close their Gold ETF soon as announced in BlackRock's  Product updates.

Bitcoin and gold markets are different ones and will exist together but more investors will switch their capital from gold to Bitcoin, it will be a new trend after Bitcoin Spot ETF approvals early this year.
10  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: June 11, 2024, 01:53:49 AM
yes, you are correct betwrong
the amount of money a casino spends on promotions is not the best factor to consider to decide if it is reliable or not and if it can be trusted.
better to consider other things like reviews, TVL, if it is regulated or not, if users can withdraw or always have problems with it...
these things.
Scam teams if succeed with their scams, can spend big budget for promotions. I believe that many people in cryptocurrency communities, knew about FTX and Alameda Research scams and their collapses in 2022, 2 years ago.

They did stupid things, scammed investors and donated massive funds to politicians and political parties. They advertised everywhere but we saw how they ended their scams.

I agree with you both on this view but Duelbits have their strong business over years and it's unfair and inaccurate to worry similar things like FTX and Alameda Research here.

In Duelbits, I trust.

Recent months, people hope that FTX will make its second life, "Let's make FTX great again" is hope of many people but I don't know how the new FTX team will make it.

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Internet don't forget, many times Donald Trump says bad about Bitcoin on: June 11, 2024, 01:45:41 AM
Op, Trump was president till 2021, not 2022, but other than that, I agree with that post. Trump is not pro-Bitcoin, and he demonstrated it multiple times in the past. He is using Bitcoin to get a wider appeal at the upcoming elections, that's all. He can easily get back to his old rhetoric about Bitcoin being risky and the USD being the best once he's elected (if that happens). I believe that some politicians can be genuinely pro-Bitcoin (if they are libertarian, for example), but Trump is not one of those.
Trump is not an exception among politicians who are known with many promises and failures to fulfill their promises in many years and through their long political career.

You can consider politicians as liars or else but national conditions are very complex while a single politician even as a national elected president, does not have power to do everything in their nation. They can fail to complete their promises because initially they did not want to do this and in this case they are pure liars. Otherwise, they can fail to keep up their promises because they don't have enough support from other politicians in a same party, institutional system and more conditions to execute what they promised.

I don't trust Trump and his promises but with his activities recent months, we saw that Biden and his party were under pressure to approve Bitcoin Spot ETFs then Ethereum Spot ETFs. Their party are no longer free to do attacks on cryptocurrency market when the President Election is very near and they don't want to lose support and votes from citizens.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Team strength as the main predictor. on: June 10, 2024, 02:12:04 AM
Aside from the other examples already mentioned, i'd include the importance of the match, and check the standings if they're in a must-win situation to secure their promotion or avoid relegation. Sometimes this factor alone can motivate most teams regardless of the big disadvantage on the road.
In different matches with different importance for the club at that time, they will have different approaches like go serious to win it, to avoid loss or play it without clear result target for the match.

If they don't need to get points from the match, they will more possibly use young and alternative players and the B squad will not help them to perform as good as usually. With alternative and young players, I more expect bad results than good ones.

Moreover, checking information on player suspension or injuries will be important too because the information is helpful for us to guess possible eleven chosen players for the coming match.

Injured and suspended players. Sites to check
14  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♛ Alpha.Casino | Crypto| Web3 | Provably fair | Crash |Since 2020 |👑 🎰🎲 on: June 10, 2024, 02:05:18 AM
This is the first time I see a casino's personal representative asking customer not to contact customer support!
If customers contact you, it's because they are having problems and need your help. "Seemless withdrawals"! as far I can see from the messages on the chat box, users are still complaining about issues related to their deposits not being credited and withdrawals not being processed.
A company often has different support lines that support each other and work together to bring as best customer care as possible to their customers.

Lines of customer support can be chat bots, support email and direct chats with customer support staffs. Inside a company, there are different support lines too and they even have escalation supports with different internal contact points.

I agree with you that when a customer goes to a direct line, hot line for support request, it's more possibly because chat bot, email support did not help that user to solve his problems.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers👉Group Stage on: June 09, 2024, 02:47:08 PM
If we are going to based off James Maddison’s exclusion from the squad to a baseless fact of Gareth Southgate not being a fan of his, then it’s an insult to guys who have merited their spot on the list, If Maddison had deserve the call better than anyone else who the play similar in the list then I could agree with you, but in this case that’s not true, at least from my point of view
I consider Maddison can be more helpful for England in Euro than Mainoo or Wharton but Southgate want to bet and on young players than on experienced one like Maddison. Young players need to be given opportunities but Jude Bellingham had to miss Euro 2020 before was chosen for World Cup 2022. Mainoo and Wharton can wait for two more years to be called for England team in a big competition.

Quote
even when Maguire was facing backlash in Man United, Southgate consistently had him in the squad, so now that there is supposedly a better option and limited spot would it be fair to presume that Southgate just doesn’t like Maguire, rather than him just doing his job and selecting players that best suit his approach and squad needs ?
Southgate did make surprising decision because I thought he will continue to call Maguire for this Euro but at the end, he did not pick Maguire but he made me surprised more by choosing Luke Shaw. He only called one left defender Luke Shaw and the player missed most matches of the season. He bets that Luke Shaw can contribute for the team and hope that other right defenders can replace that left position if Luke Shaw can not play.
16  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: June 09, 2024, 05:09:32 AM
I believe that the swap function is a huge advantage of this casino. It is not present in every casino, which complicates the process, in my opinion. Another pros is that their currency can be converted into USDT at a 1:1 rate. This way you can even withdraw the bonus money you received using the promotional code. For me this is a big plus, because you don’t always have the desire and the ability to play, sometimes you just need to withdraw money and I really appreciate that withdrawal can be made at any time.
Swapping is convenient for users and they will not have to move their cryptocurrency to other platforms for selling to stable coin when they have that need.

Providing good services is great and giving convenience to their users will be big plus. Current users will have more reasons to stay as loyal customers and they can shill the platform to other people that potentially can help the business to get more new users.

With Blockchain and cryptocurrency, people have things to get smooth and permissionless experience. Using a centralized platform, will do require permission, approval for withdrawal but it's big plus for BC.Game platform in eyes of customers by quick or instant withdrawal approval and processing for their users.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Season on: June 09, 2024, 02:24:27 AM
We will see interesting matches in group phase. There will be more matches, so every team will be busy. Honestly, this will force more the players to keep their fitness. With more matches, the chance of getting injured will be higher. It is expected that the coach can rotate the players more often. The new format makes the coaches of the teams to optimize their second tier players, too.

Source: https://focusmagazineonline.com/ucl-format-to-change-for-24-25-season-groups-knockout-league-table/
Three main potential big changes for UEFA, clubs and players in my thinking.

UEFA will get richer with more matches, more income from UEFA Champions League and from television rights.

Biggest and richest clubs will become bigger and richer by money from television rights and their performances in next seasons. Perform better, go far each season will help biggest and richest clubs gain more income.

Players will have to play more matches that will cause bigger risk of exhaustion and injuries. These problems will cause bigger effects on national teams and star players will struggle to be healthy, perform well in big tournaments like World Cup, Euro and Coppa America.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 U.S. Presidential Election Bets! on: June 09, 2024, 02:18:08 AM
This election will not be a fight of political issues and political platforms. This will be a fight of personalities because one of the candidates is a populist.
Populist, you meant Trump.

Quote
Biden will need to create his own marketing tactic to convince the swing voters to vote for him because Trump's candidacy might have been strengthened because of his felony case. The people are presently sympathizing for him because they want drama, comedy, action hehehehe. The country's leaders cannot by trusted anymore and they only want to be entertained hehehehe.
Trump won over Hillary Clinton but failed over Biden in last two President Elections. He will return to fight against Biden again and if we don't count legal cases Trump is facing with recent months, I see he has advantage against Biden.

Economy, migration and border, war issues, many things are not on side of Biden. It's difficult to base on this and judge that Biden team saw all the disadvantages and want to do personal attacks against Trump as their proactive systematic activities to prevent Trump winning the President Election in November. This can help Biden to gain advantage but it potentially might cause side effects, negative effects on total votes for Biden in the November President Election.

Trust Biden or Trump? Who is a better President for the USA next four years?

It's tight because differences between them are small. I bet on Trump as a better President for the USA next four years. Trust him, I don't know because he is a populist and like a narcissist too but his policies and decisions can be better than Biden's.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Future Transaction Prices on: June 08, 2024, 03:31:15 AM
I don't think you should worry about this much. More than a decade has passed since Bitcoin's inception; adoption has accelerated a lot, the price has skyrocketed, even global financial giants have joined the game, but we could still enjoy as low as 4 Sats/vB every once in a while.

If more adoption would mean unaffordable transactions, there will always be responding technologies that address it. A rising problem would always be followed with a solution.
Understand basics about Bitcoin blockchain, mempools and how transaction fee is calculated and paid, will help Bitcoin users to be more cleverly with their transactions and save more transaction fees.

The protocol is the same for everyone but we can be different on our own ways to use the blockchain, when broadcasting transactions from our non custodial wallets with which we have rights to set up fee rate but if we don't know how to set it up properly, we will have to pay expensive transaction fee as same as making withdrawals from centralized exchanges.

Quote
But I believe transaction fees would remain as volatile as Bitcoin's price. It might be like this for the next few decades. From 4 Sats/vB, it could suddenly jump to 100 or even 1,000 but from there it could also fall to 8 the next minute.
It will drop but from 1000 or 100 sats/vbyte, fee rates in the mempools will not fall to 8 sats/vbyte in next minutes.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 500sat/vb for a transaction? Has the world gone mad? on: June 08, 2024, 02:28:30 AM
500sat/VB is a lot, and I will certainly wait it out, but if you are wondering who pays those fees?
By waiting a little hours, there are better fee rates to use.

Now, it is about 116 sat/vbyte. OP can get mempools information from the telegram bot, type fees to get suggested fee rates.
@BitcoinFeesAlert_bot

https://mempool.space/
https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#BTC,1w,weight

After about 9 to 10 hours since the latest peak, mempools give us better fee rates to use but it is still very expensive. I will not move my bitcoin with fee rates about 100 sat/vbyte, that is too expensive and can convert my small bitcoin fund to dust.
