1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Three best ways to hold bitcoin combined. on: October 28, 2025, 03:57:41 PM
Everyone can invest in Bitcoin according to his preferred strategy because we have to meet our daily requirements also. The price of Bitcoin is very high and it's very difficult for majority of people to buy one complete Bitcoin. The reason why most of us go for DCA is because it allows us to get good profit from Bitcoin by investing some amount into Bitcoin at regular intervals. All at once strategy is good but for that you need to have huge money in hand. Again, it's someone personal preference whether to go for DCA or invest all at once.
Bitcoin is only Bitcoin, DCA is only DCA strategy while different people have different ways of DCA Bitcoin. There different practices decide their investment profit or loss and they can not say, in assumption, their loss is because of either Bitcoin or DCA strategy.

If they have bad practice, their investment loss and failure is from their personal mistake and bad investment practice. The other investors can practice better, more well-planned and get profit from their Bitcoin investment through DCA strategy. It is because of their good knowledge, excellent practice and even enough experience in this market.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: France considers bill to accumulate 2% of Bitcoin’s total supply on: October 28, 2025, 03:07:03 PM
France considers bill to accumulate 2% of Bitcoin’s total supply and establish a Bitcoin Strategic Reserve
Consider to actually do it is a long pathway and sometimes it will not happen too. With good Bitcoin adoption growth, nations will follow each other so they will build up their national Bitcoin treasuries if they see it as a good trend and don't want to fall behind in benefit nationally compares to other countries.

For now, it is only like a news to hype the market and with political chaos in France recent months, I really don't expect anything will be passed and enforced quickly in France.
3  Other / Meta / Re: What happens to Merits and sMerits if...? on: October 28, 2025, 02:57:11 PM
It can be concluded, Administs can do anything for the Merit and sMerit of users, whether they no longer exist/died and so on, this has been done and proven at the April Fool's event.
It's just that Administs don't care and don't want to do anything with the Merit and Merit of users who are no longer here, they just leave it and not be recycled into the system, if they want they can do that.
Merits amd sendable merits in this forum are not limited and each month, there are new sourced merits distributed to merit sources for next distributions in forum community. With always available new merits from sources, it is not big issue with no longer used series from dead accounts or banned accounts.

If theymos check the forum merit data and see merit circulation is decreasing by lack of series, he will dump more to merit sources.

4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investment strategies on: October 28, 2025, 02:53:23 PM
If you had Bitcoin in the past and you didn't hold cash, you might think that it would have been better for you not to sell Bitcoin. Those who had Bitcoin and sold it are regretting it now, and those who kept the cash are the ones who are regretting it. Those who are taking risks and following the DCA method are the only ones who are adopting the best strategy at the moment, there is still plenty of opportunity to buy Bitcoin. If you have the money, you can hold on to Bitcoin and buy it. It is best to buy Bitcoin and hold it for the long term.
Dollar Cost Averaging is a very good investment method and it works well in traditional markets, not only in this emerging market like Bitcoin. Bitcoin is known as a best cryptocurrency and it is the best choice for cryptocurrency investors so DCA Bitcoin is the safest investment for people who want to invest money in cryptocurrency market.

It is good for doing DCA but to get profit, there is another important condition: investors must hold their bitcoins in some years in order to let Bitcoin work for you and bring profit to your portfolio.

Holding your Bitcoin portfolio around 5 years or 6 years is good holding period for profit guarantee based on Bitcoin market history.
5  Other / Meta / Re: How does people classify quality post on: October 28, 2025, 02:42:44 PM
Talking about quality posts, of course the assessment methods have different methods and views, you judge this and I judge that, the point is that the goal is one point, a clear goal.
Unique and easy to understand, every post that is unique or has a fresh approach or posts that are presented in an easy to understand way for me is considered quality.

And my assessment on the other hand is like a simple post but very impactful, I mean a simple post but the content has additional understanding which is certain for me it is also quality and many others in assessing a quality post.
A post is quality and also helpful for me personally but a quality post does not need to be helpful for me. As it is what I already knew, I don't see it as helpful for myself but it is still a quality post by being informative, insightful and helpful for other forum members.

I believe that it is not hard to agree about a quality post and similarly to agree with each other about shitposts because it is very easy to assess quality of a post, that is not only decided by received merit. A post is still useless post even it was merited with 50 merit by anyway.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 22 Years Old Robbed of $850,000 USDT at Karachi Airport (Pakistan) on: October 28, 2025, 02:22:41 AM
There is an incident at Karachi Airport (Pakistan) where a 22-years old man lost his 850000 USDT. The incident took place inside Karachi airport, when two men in plain clothes approached Faiz Yab (the 22 years old victim) and took him to one office inside the airport. These people then forcefully transferred 850000 USDT from his different accounts
It's traceable even with tumblers so these robbers can not hide their transaction tracebility by using these simple steps like transfering USDT to diffferent accounts or wallets and delete the source Binance account of the victim.

Quote
later deleted his Binance accounts along with changing passwords of his recovery email accounts. The victim now says that he is unable to freeze those USDT nor he can claim them from Binance.
You know, Binance has data on that account, even they approve your account deletion, that account data is still on their system and database. It takes a quite some time, not too short, not too long but perhaps some months before your account data was completely removed from Binance data base.

If the victim can report his case to Binance, ask for support, Binance can help him to recover his account as well as other information related to the robbers.

By the way, this robbery is another terrible example and warning on people in cryptocurrency market that they must stay a humble life, keep their Bitcoin, cryptocurrency investment and holding privately.

Physical Bitcoin attacks (part 1) and (part 2)
7  Other / Meta / Re: What happens to Merits and sMerits if...? on: October 28, 2025, 02:14:13 AM
I have been curious to know, what happens to the merits or sMerits that a member has accumulated over the years if his/her account gets banned or he/she abandons or sadly in the demise of the member. Obviously, if an account hasn't been active over a period of some years either of these could be imagined happened to the member. What does the the moderators do to such accounts? Does the merits and sMerits gets collapsed and redirected or recycled back into the system?
Merit stays with an account forever except if it is a very terribe merit abusement so that theymos needs to demerit that account. It happened with some merit transactions in the past, but not too considerable transactions.

smerit stays with an account forever too, even the user does not send it to anyone else.

Except if theymos programs the merit system with some changes, and demerit or merit decay is applied in the future.

Merit & new rank requirements.
There is currently no such thing as a "demerit". I'm hoping that the positive merits alone will be fine. I could add demerits pretty easily later on if necessary, though.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why Bitcoin halving matters more than people think on: October 28, 2025, 02:09:08 AM
Every four years, the crypto world encounters a great event, Bitcoin s halving. People usually talk about it, like it's a magic event that pumps the price of Bitcoin, but it's much deeper than that.
Price rises as Bitcoin halving effects because it creates noise on media so that more people join this industry as newbie miners, newbie investors, traders and even just speculators.

Generally it helps Bitcoin blockchain and network more secure by having increasing hashrate around the halving, and bring more bitcoin demand to this market so with new supply halves while demand increases, you can see how the Supply and Demand Principle works. Price must rise unavoidably, just when this effect is shown on the market and Bitcoin price.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Wallet for Bitcoin on: October 27, 2025, 01:58:30 PM
There are actually numerous non-custodial and open source hardware wallets to choose from, but everyone should buy a hardware wallet properly, as they may be safe for investors by staying offline and may even provide benefits from malware or hacking. Even choosing a reputable hardware wallet is prudent.
They need to check a wallet as whether it is open source or close source and if they want to get reviews for a wallet reproducibility and other things, this website can help

With hardware wallets, it's the same like other wallets, have open source and close source hardware wallets. People must check it and also must buy hardware wallets rightly.

10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: James Wynn’s big wins (and losses): The truth about trading with leverage on: October 27, 2025, 01:51:36 PM
James Wynn shared his expectations for the upcoming week on his X account today: "A big week ahead for crypto. $88-92k would bring in some pain"
We can assume that he will open a big short again)
I don't pay too much attention on James Wynn, honestly as I am not actively trading. I focus on my bitcoin accumulation and investment only, so James Wynn is not my concern at all.

His story reminds me about an anonymous account on Reddit that was famous in the last market cycle. He predicted Bitcoin price very accurately in some months and many people gradually believed in his predictions. Eventually in later months, his predictions were inaccurately and many people lost money with their belief.

So don't believe in James Wynn or always take your action on the market oppositely than what James does, it can be a big trap from market makers.

I hope that someone can share a screenshot of that anonymous person years ago.
11  Other / Meta / Re: How does people classify quality post on: October 27, 2025, 03:54:53 AM
This is a subjective choice but those which answer a query raised by any forum member correctly closes the thread. This is not applicable for discussion threads where people discuss and share their opinions. A quality post there will be one that take all opinions into account and gives a sustainable solution to what the OP has in mind.

But this is debateable as to who is reading the posts.
It's quite personal assessment on post quality and there are times people can disagree with quality of a post, some posts but generally, a forum member with good merit figure is more likely a quality poster than a shit poster.

This means inaccuracy of quality assessment on a single post or some posts possibly exist while through a post history of a forum member, we can have better overview on his post quality with more likely accurate quality assesment.

I hope that it is not used as a reason of merit farmers to defend their merits exchanged with each other as post quality is individually decided.
12  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🟢 Rainbet.com | Crypto Casino & Sportsbook | Competitive Rewards 🎁 on: October 27, 2025, 03:50:05 AM
The word good strategy does not mean that you will be making constant profits from a casino. That would be a selfish attempt if we think that a good strategy will always make us profitable while the casino watch making money from them without any loses. At least a good strategy will help you not to gamble recklessly just like some players that don't know their right from their left, gambling everytime without a risk management in place to reduce their chances of becoming addictive to gambling.
There is no strategies that can work well forever in gambling, and trading as these parties are based on probability and luck factor while with investment, you can have more efficiently working strategies such as Dollar Cost Averaging.

It's more easily to find good strategies for trading but as said all trading strategies have failed times and experienced traders know how to close their trading positions around sensitive times in the market. With gambling, experienced gamblers know importance of gambling responsibility and they control their gambling behaviour in order to secure their won momey as well as avoid destroying their initial gambling capital.

Gambling is not a place to focus on steady income, unless the gambler want to be addicted to gambling in the future, I don't think those that have gambling experience will encourage or advice anyone to make gambling an investment where he or she will be earning steady income from gambling because they know that winning or losing is not steady in gambling, just free your mind for winning or losing, and just gamble with what you know you can afford to loose in gambling.
Gambling can not bring solid income because basically gamblers can not always win with their bets. So income from gambling is not solid, very uncertain and even impossible, it's only vague unrealistic hope of newbie gamblers. With time, and experience with gambling as well as money loss for bets, newbie gamblers will gradually understand this impossible mission of getting solid income from gambling.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can never be completely eliminated. on: October 27, 2025, 03:39:23 AM
What is making bitcoin to exist till today is because bitcoin is not a centralize currency, which is the reason government couldn't eliminate it from the world, the truth about bitcoin is no longer secret, and it will be difficult for anyone to spread fake information about bitcoin for the entire country to leave bitcoin because those users that have the knowledge of bitcoin know that bitcoin is the king among other cryptocurrencies, before you mention any reliable coins in the market, bitcoin must be the number one.
Bitcoin is decentralized from how it was programmed and developed technically over time, its network hashrate distribution from Bitcoin mining hashrates to full nodes, and how Bitcoin blocks and transactions are mined as well as confirmed by Bitcoin miners globally as well as roles of Bitcoin full nodes in relay block information to other peers.

Over time, Bitcoin network hashrate has increased more, its blockchain difficulty has risen more, and the Bitcoin blockchain has become more secured with time. It's harder to attack Bitcoin network 51% over time.

As far as I know, every exchange support deposit and withdrawal of Bitcoin but it's a risky thing to do keeping your coins in exchange wallet.
Bitcoin is a biggest cryptocurrency and all cryptocurrency exchanges support Bitcoin because this cryptocurrency brings highest trading volume, trading fee and income for their exchanges.

Accounts on centralized exchanges are given custodial wallets and users don't own private keys or mnemonic seeds. It's risky and it was reminded here.
Reminder: do not keep your money in online accounts.

Quote
Even if you are not using bitcoin for investment purposes but for electronic transactions from time to time as stated in your post, you still don't need to keep your assets on exchange, you should better keep them in your personal wallet in which you own and control the private keys. Exchange may deny you access to your coins due to one reason or another when you probably need it most.
Only store your bitcoins on exchanges when you need trading, after finish your trade, withdraw your fund from exchange account immediately.

For making transactions on Bitcoin blockchain, it's recommended to use non custodial wallets with coin control feature in order to freely choose UTXOs and fee rate for your transactions. It's helpful for saving transaction fees than very expensive withdrawal fees on centralized exchanges.

It's obvious now that Liverpool are on a losing streak in the premier league, so it's best to stay clear of betting on them since they haven't gotten back to their usual form. Honestly, Chelsea's loss to Sunderland wasn't a surprise to me because among the three promoted teams Sunderland is the most experienced. So when I saw 1-1 in the first half, I was like, can Chelsea make it in the second half? because Sunderland are doing pretty good, especially Wilson Isidor.
Liverpool already lost their fourth matches in this season and they truly are in a big crisis from Slot's tactics to performances of their star players. Van Dijk, Salah, MacAllister had big problems with poor performances in this season while new star players who joined the club in the summer transfer season, have yet adapted well in Liverpool.

Liverpool already fell too far behind Arsenal and they are repeating big crisis as a champion like Manchester City had in the last season. It's not issue from single player but I think it is mainly from Slot's irrelevant tactics for Liverpool and he must change his tactics first. Like Manchester City, they blamed the crisis on an injury and long absence of Rodri but in this season, Rodri did not play too much while Manchester City generally performed better than the past season.
16  Other / Meta / Re: How does people classify quality post on: October 26, 2025, 10:48:33 AM
To me if the post is that helpful and doesn’t carry information that could even confused the reader the more, for me a simple illustration of anything in the forum that I understood is quality.
So just as the title has already asked what is quality post apart from this little I have just explained above?
theymos wrote about quality posts.

To have them, you must write less but read more, learn more, think more and spend more time when composing your posts. Quality posts don't need to be too long, as the content, information it carries is most important factor for its quality. By self-limiting your number of posts, you will have more time for read, learn and also increase your post quality by spending more time for each of your posts.

If you make ten thousand posts in a week, your activity will be capped and you will still be a Newbie. If you make ten thousand useless posts over any period of time, you will gain zero merit and you will still be a Newbie. You can rank up only by making good posts consistently. It's quality over quantity.

When trying to write quality posts, a lot of people act as though they're writing a book report for school: putting facts that we already know into their own words. Nobody wants to read that, and you will not get merit for it. Moreover, the length of your post and the quality of your English are only minor factors. In trying to write a quality post worthy of merit, you should offer new ideas, personal experiences, or perspectives that other forum users will actually find new and interesting.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Respest your risks more than rewards on: October 25, 2025, 09:34:16 AM
How about mentioning the name of the bot or setup that you tried to use and hoping for the 50% chance?

If there is any service that claims they guarantee returns if someone subscribes to their feature, then it must be a scam and let the community know who they are instead of just telling the stories.
Trading bots, copy trading bots are setup and use, stop by users individually so if you are a newbie trader, or undisciplined traders, you can not use trading bots well. Because trading bots depend on your bot setting up customization which can be different than other traders. Successful traders can use trading bots well because they understand about the market, trading knowledge, techniques and also the market psychology cycle well too.

They set up a trading bot with good parameters and trading strategy that works for them manually and by using the bot, they increase chance of success, decrease risk of failure by not ontime trading and lack of discipline. Nevertheless, trading bots can not get rid of zero knowledge, lack of discipline, and emotional decisions from traders.

Also the experienced traders will know risky times in the market, and turn of their trading bots, closing their trading positions and waiting for the storm to come.

Everyone wants a quick and instant process, because waiting due to delayed withdrawals is annoying. However, it would be unwise for someone to immediately accuse the casino of cheating them just because their withdrawal has been delayed for a while. They should also realize at the outset that there are several policies of casinos, some of which do implement instant withdrawals and some of which do not.

Even if they can't wait, then as you said they can contact support to question why their withdrawal is taking so long. Because I'm pretty sure they will respond and provide an answer. They should also be ashamed when they accuse the casino of not paying and a few moments later they get paid.
Cheating casinos is one of most stupid ideas to do as they have many developers who programmed their platform and many tools to detect cheating activities from users. It's like one of many top priorities of casinos, as if they allow cheating to exploit their casino, their business will be harmed considerably. Hence, casinos strongly prohibit cheating actions and cheaters must know that casinos don't toterate any cheating cases if they detect it with solid evidence.

Consequently very harsh punishments against cheating accounts will be made from account termination immediately to no longer withdrawal approval. It's unavoidable consequences for cheaters on online casinos, only coming soon or late with time.
19  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: We are not Gambler, But Traders and Investors on: October 25, 2025, 07:18:45 AM
If you compare bitcoin and altcoins this is true because many altcoins will probably crash or disappear forever. But if you compare bitcoin with investments like gold or stocks there is no difference at all. Those who invest and hold gold and Blue Chip stocks just need to hold long enough, they can definitely make a profit.

Every investment has risks, but bitcoin is not the only investment that is guaranteed to be profitable in the long run.
Every investment has risk and all investment assests contain risk too but Bitcoin is unique by its circulation and total supply design. Bitcoin is inflationary till 2140 after all 21 millions of bitcoins will be all mined by Bitcoin miners. Even so, its inflationary rate is very small by cutting half every 210,000 blocks which need about 4 years of mining. If we see that in 2025, 19.93M bitcoins already mined and only 1.07M bitcoins for mining till 2140. You can consider it as deflationary compares to fiat currencies, gold and stocks that are all very inflationary.

About investment ROIs among Bitcoin, gold and stocks, check https://casebitcoin.com/ and see how Bitcoin performs better than gold and stocks.

Only gamble with the amount you can afford is the thing that we should remember. That will save our money without spending too much. We can enjoy the games with limited money.
Use your money for vital things in your family life first as you must take care of your family first. Surviving first and to do it, you need to have money; then managing its life quality at an acceptable level; and the very last things for consideration is gaming or gambling. You must do the less important action like gaming or gambling in responsible way so that it won't destroy your financial budget and won't affect your family life and quality negatively.

The point is that those of us who take gambling as a source of enjoyment and fun understand that gambling doesn't need a lot of your money for it to entertain you, because you can get entertained even if you use a small amount, as long as you like playing the games, and are not addicted to getting big wins, because if that's the case, then you don't gamble for fun, but you gamble for wins, and those are completely different things.
Manage your finance, and only use very small part of your finance for gambling, be disciplined and bet responsibly, you will have fun with gambling and make sure maintaining your finance well enough.

If you feel you can not do it, can not control your emotion and action, stay away from gambling. It's best to stay away from gambling, avoid it, rather than touching it and losing your control.
