661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is KYC mandatory in CEX? on: September 06, 2023, 09:21:34 AM
If the centralized exchange implement KYC because they said it's to enhances their security, it's a bullshit.
If they tell this, it's bullshit.

KYC only help exchanges to obey governmental regulations and avoid troubles with governments. It does not help to increase their exchange security because security belongs to different thing and it is built and maintained by different infrastructures.

Why KYC is extremely dangerous – and useless
662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: September 06, 2023, 09:17:57 AM
Yannick Carrasco could have much better options than playing for the Saudis. This 30-year-old palyer had one year left on his contract with Atletico Madrid and he asked the team to let him go.
Atletico Madrid earned 15 million from this deal which is a good amount of money for a palyer like Yannick Carrasco.
He signed a three-year contract with Al Shabab.

Players around 30s like Carrasco are very fitted to join Saudi Professional League as they can enjoy their life after retirement or if they are just 30 like Carrasco, they can return to Europe after two or three seasons in Saudi Arabia.

Carrasco did have some excellent moments with Atletico Madrid when that club got some successful seasons in Champions League years ago. After that, he is still a main player in that club but no longer got good seasons again. They were not able to win La Liga and Champions League and likely won't be able to win those titles in next few years. So the Belgium midfielder made an acceptable decision to leave and took advantage of Saudi Professional League growth to collect money.

Liverpool is also reportedly interested in Sofyan Amrabat, but Manchester United is his choice, to continue his career even more brilliantly.
Not sure how serious effort Liverpool spent for Amrabat to negotiate with Fiorentina but he had a very successful season in the last year, went to semi final in World Cup 2022 with Morocco and went through Conference League final match with Fiorentina. He is a very strong defensive midfielder and can help Manchester United by playing together with Casemiro or replace Casemiro when the Brazilian midfielder can not play.

Quote
Will Amrabat's presence make a difference for United? Of course, that's what Ten Hag hopes for, because so far Manchester United still seems to be looking for the best pattern of play for them, there are no players who have appeared impressive, including their captain and their main striker, and their game looks increasingly weak when the defender who is their mainstay suffers Luke Shaw and Raphael Varane were injured, without the presence of these two defenders, Arsenal could have scored 3 goals to United nets, even two goals occurred in the final minutes of the match.
He will help to close more open space around the 16.5m area for Manchester United but Ten Hag must work with defenders to tighten their defensive system. Relying on either Casemiro or Amrabat to improve their defense is not enough.

Quote
If it turns out that Amrabat needs time to adapt then Ten Hag will be in a difficult position and we will see United struggle in every match with their main players recovering from injuries.
Every player needs time to adapt to a new club and in the last season, Casemiro needed a few months to start playing for Manchester United and had impressive matches for them.
664  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's Resilience: Returns to $26K Support Amidst Market Volatility on: September 05, 2023, 10:55:12 AM
Investors get tired of the bitcoin price movement some of them sell for a while because if you check the price just makes a sideways and just sits around 25-30k$ and they don't get too much profit instead the benefits only for the scalpers because they always grab the swings of the market, and also if the bitcoin price breaks the 25k price we ae now seeing the 23k for sitting this coming month, if this still no changes we will face again the 10k digit price of the bitcoin and perfect opportunity to accumulate coins as possible.
Investors don't get tired with Bitcoin price movement if it does not change much and halving is still very far with months ahead.

So who are tired with latest market movements?

Speculators, gamblers and traders who borrow money to buy bitcoin and always wake up with fearful of loan expiration and loan repayment including loan interest. Traders who always want to get quick profit and move to other coins, find other opportunities. Gamblers who trade with leverages, futures and have pressure from funding fees as well as liquidations.

They are likely tired with price stuck recent months but investors can wait longer and they even feel happy because they can have more time to load more bitcoin before a next halving.
665  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to join best bounty and earn money? on: September 05, 2023, 02:09:16 AM
Do not believe on what YouTubers say about bounties- most are filled with scams that only wastes your time and it also contributes to the overall spam in the forum.

I have noticed that majority of the newbies who create their account in this forum are so inclined in joining bounties. I mean, I understand that you guys want to earn/make money but this method is not as effective compared to other methods in this forum.
Because they believe it is more easily to work with bounties and they even can get good rewards by selling tokens and cash it out. They did not know facts behind bounties, they can receive nothing after a bounty ends or token can not be traded anywhere.

Personally, I would recommend that you equip yourself with the knowledge about cryptocurrencies in order to gain merit. From there, you may join and participate in campaign signatures as they pay you weekly with cryptocurrencies.
I vote for it too.

They can learn, read, contribute and rank up. With an account at Full member rank, they can get $40 weekly. One month or two months in a good signature campaign will give them $160 that is better than joining a bounty in 8 weeks and might not get anything after 2 months.

If they don't know about signature campaigns.

666  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Funding rate on: September 05, 2023, 02:00:11 AM
So short positions pay long positions in this scenario.

Funding fee is deducted only every 8 hours or 1 hour (I remember an exchange that would charge hourly, but it was a few years back). Any position opened and closed between the funding rate hours won't be charged the funding fee.
By this, you can close your position with a draw and enjoy funding fee if you are in a side of short will be pay by long and long will be paid by short in that 8-hours.

It's not too much but if you can, you should close your position because after each 8 hours, market can have big movement, up or down maybe we don't certainly know. So it is safe to close our position before it moves and it's also good if we can earn small from funding fee.
667  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy is now being powered by cryptocurrencies. on: September 04, 2023, 02:36:09 AM
Currently, cryptocurrency is a big player in the global financial system since it is used either directly or indirectly in many parts of the world.
Total market cap of cryptocurrency market is still very small compares to market cap of NYSE or NASDAQ.

Comparison of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and Nasdaq from January 2018 to July 2023, by market capitalization of listed companies
In July 2023
- NYSE $24.97 T
- NASDAQ $22.21 T.
Cryptocurrency market cap is $1.04 T and it is actually smaller because of many scam altcoins.

To challenge the progress of the crypto industry many central banks have introduced CBDCs.
CBDCs are created for many purposes, not only to challenge cryptocurrency industry. Most important CBDCs help governments to observe and tax their citizens better.

Quote
These CBDCs have similar qualities to altcoins due to their centralized nature, but none can be decentralized like Bitcoin.
They are centralized like altcoins but worse as totally in hands and controls of governments. They can freeze your CBDCs anytime even in your accounts.

I guess nobody could ever expect to see Al Fateh winning the game against Al Ahli in the game today after all the money Al Ahli spent this summer and the players they bought, however, it's too soon to judge Al Ahli and the players they bought because we know these players need some time. but personally, I could never predict this result.

Even without those new star players from Europe, Al Ahli were already stronger than Al Fateh so with those star players, they surprisingly got this very big defeat. It's unbelievable and Al Ahli let Al Fateh scored goals very easily.

After scoring a leading goal, Al Ahli quickly let Al Fateh to have an equalizer in the first half. After that, their nightmare began in the second half as they got some more conceded goals and ended the match with a shock defeat.

The match is exciting as many opportunities were created by both clubs and even Al Ahli had some chances to score more goals too.
669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Effective and Intelligent Solutions to Propel Future Bitcoin Price Surge on: September 03, 2023, 01:46:45 AM
True, since Bitcoin become a speculative asset, store of value, it will create a lot of hype specially around the bull run. We just don't know what will be the hype next, in 2024-2025 wherein we expect that the price will hit at least 6 digits. I think it will be more likely driven by the Bitcoin ETF approval and so more money will flow again. But after that, go back to normal again.
Bitcoin Spot ETF approvals, first one and more later in the USA. are most expected forces for Bitcoin bull run in 2024 and 2025. I have a similar thinking like yours and I think we already saw some signals that SEC are under bigger pressure from the USA. Congress to do their regulation more transparently and must be based on active laws. They must stop their arbitrary regulations like the last few years and BlackRock is expected to be a first entity will get a first approved Bitcoin Spot ETF in the nation. They have only 1 failed application in total 600 ETF applications they made.

In any case though, we have LN for smaller and faster transactions. But for the majority, what we wanted to see is that it be accepted universally, regardless if the mempool is clogged or not.
If people invest in Bitcoin, mempools won't be clogged. Because true investors don't often make on chain transactions, they buy and hold. Traders and fans of meme tokens like BRC20, make the mempools clogged.
670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: September 02, 2023, 12:11:02 PM
There is still the possibility for Salah to leave Liverpool and join the Saudi League because the Saudi team, Al Ittihad is still trying to put Salah under pressure to make him leave but yesterday Liverpool coach Klopp said I have nothing to say about this news related to Salah because the situation is not changed yet and they are not going to lose this player, however, we know Al Ittihad is not going to give up.

If Al Ittihad can get Salah, it is a big successful transfer for them because Salah is different than Ronaldo, Benzema and Neymar. He is still at best of his career and getting a player like this is a great success for not only Al Ittihad but also Saudi Professional League.

If Liverpool lose Salah in coming days, they will complain more about different windows for transfer markets in Europe and Saudi Arabia. They will more seriously complain and ask for changes in transfer market windows. They will make their voice and ask for an universal transfer market window time for all nations globally. It is so painful to lose best players when a season already starts and transfer market in Europe is closed.

Will it be possible for FIFA to do this at global scale?
671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best suited place for bitcoin symbol's before or after amounts? on: September 02, 2023, 03:06:15 AM
In Electrum wallet, you have a position as 0.01 BTC.
In Bitcoin Core wallet, you have a position as 0.01 BTC.

I vote for this position for Bitcoin symbol, after the number.
672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: September 02, 2023, 02:54:52 AM
We know this summer there were many players who joined the Saudi League to earn more money after Ronaldo joined this league but some players and coaches think some players especially some younger players could continue their careers in the top European teams instead of the Saudi teams.
Toni Kroos said players like Gabri Veiga at this age should not join that league and he said he doesn't want to join that league personally because of human rights violations there which is good if he doesn't change his mind.

UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin dismisses threats from Saudi Professional League. What he said is true, Saudi Professional League won't go far by using money like this. They must focus on building up their stadiums, youth academies to grow up local young players who will be future of the league and their national team.

Buying many star players from Europe especially old players, will waste lot of money resource for youth academies and they must think differently. With young players, they can contribute for the league like 10 years or more but with those old players from Europe, they can only use those old players from 2 to 4 seasons. It won't help to increase quality of local players as well as the league quality in long term.
673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 02, 2023, 02:35:26 AM
Roma lost again with a score of 1-2 against Milan and this is a very bad result for Jose Mourinho's squad because they can't give a win in front of their fans. Milan did very well even with 10 men in the second half and they didn't panic at all when they were in quite a bit of pressure. Milan's advantage from the early minutes made them sure to win this match, but unfortunately Roma only managed to score 1 goal in the final minutes which meant nothing.
It is a very bad result that is a continuation of their two previous bad matches. After three matches, they have only one point in Serie A and it's not a good start for their target to be in top four of Serie A.

Losing at home and let AC Milan led 2 goals before scoring a very late goal at 92th minute, it's a bad match at their home stadium. The defense ability of AS Roma in this season is not good and they must focus on improving it first. Without a good defense, they will have bad results because their attacking system is not too strong and won't be able to cover conceded goals from weak defense.

It is predictable before because Roma still unable to bounce back from their poor results in Serie A so Milan has good chances to collect 3 points from this match and i have to says Milan was playing much better than Roma that they were really dominate the match and playing more effective
Playing at home and let Milan to score a first goal very soon, Roma could not bounce back to get a point. Giroud scored for Milan and still proved his ability when many people think he is too old to play for Milan. His value again reflects through his goal and he does not need to take a spot light in any match. He smell chances, give him passes and he scores, that's how Giroud plays.
674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has your Responsible Gambling had any of these Effects on You? on: September 01, 2023, 03:39:13 AM
This seems too personal, like others who, let's say, came from gambling addiction and quit, but still their lives were ruined, like their relationships with their family. Though I would give an overall opinion like what I am doing right now, it really stays where I am but imagining the expenses that you'll be getting into if you are addicted to gambling, and for sure your family is already ruined because you don't have time for it, I would say yes, it is better if we are looking at positive aspects.
Gambling addiction is bad because it is not only related with their mentality but also their finance conditions. That all are related with other members in their family so if they are out of control, use all and lose all for gambling, their family life will be at risk.

Gambling responsible is their responsibility. Not all people who gamble are gambling addictive so it is personal responsibility to control actions. It is personal trait too and if a person is gambling addictive, he will be gaming addictive, cryptocurrency additive if he joins those areas. It is not because of gambling, gaming or cryptocurrency, it is their personal bad trait that they must change to control themselves better.
675  Economy / Economics / Re: CB Consumer Confidence delivers another blow on the US and USD on: September 01, 2023, 03:16:03 AM
This news development is certainly negative development for US economy and consequently affecting the Dollar index. However, it is interesting to note that it didn't make any good impact on Bitcoin price either. I could be mistaken, but from my perspective, substantial upwards move in Bitcoin price might not occur until regulatory concerns with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) are adequately addressed and positive news regarding approval of ETFs emerges from major players like BlackRock.
BlackRock has very good rate of success for their ETF submissions. The failure rate is 1/600 that is very low and the market looks at BlackRock with hope that if BlackRock did not see good opportunity to get approval from SEC for a first Bitcoin Spot ETF in the USA., they will not send their submission to SEC.

They already sent it to SEC. and will go more seriously with it before getting an approval. The market also hope that if BlackRock succeed, they will open a new era for Bitcoin and investors in the USA. from traditional markets, will more easily get access to Bitcoin. Bigger capital will flow in Bitcoin and in any market, when new capital flows in, price would soar a lot.
676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lessons Taken from Previous Bull Markets: How Will Your Approach Change? on: September 01, 2023, 02:28:57 AM
What I can say about this is stop panicking whenever the price of bitcoins decreases so much in the time before bull runs because that's the traditional way before the bull runs start and you won't get any chance to buy again because, after that, the price will continue to rise until it reaches a new ATH. Whatever happens, just focus on your goal to achieve and ripe as much income as this upcoming bull run just be patient and persevere on everything.
You will be able to control your emotion better if you invest with your money, only with your money.

If you borrow money and have pressure from interest payment, collateral liquidation, margin call which are all big risks, you will lose control on your emotion. I am sure many people will feel panic when facing with such risks. Lastly, feel fearful, panic or not, the market will move in its way and your loan collateral can be liquidated by exchanges.

Even you don't want to sell, your coins will be sold by exchange and you can not do anything. The best way to avoid liquidation is using your own money to invest, don't use leverages because you believe you will win and will get rich with your accurate thinking and greedy position.
677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 01, 2023, 02:22:20 AM
In fact, it would be a bit embarrassing when Romelu Lukaku's current situation seems like he has become a traitor to Inter Milan, who has developed his talent and is now joining a rival club that will compete seriously in the Italian league this season.
It is bad behavior from Lukaku when Inter Milan wanted to give him chance in the last season and tried to negotiate with Chelsea again in this summer. His career is in trouble and he did not respect Inter after all. He tried to knock doors of Juventus at the same time and when Inter Milan knew about that shady secret, it's the end for Lukaku with Inter Milan.

Quote
In fact, it doesn't matter if it's just ridiculed by Inter Milan fans. I'm sure Lukaku will ignore things like that because Romelu Lukaku's initial goal in joining AS Roma on loan was to help improve the quality of AS Roma performance which is currently in a bad condition.
I am sure that Lukaku talent can make a good contribution to Roma and this club really needs talented players right now because we are very sad to see Roma poor start to the season and hopefully Roma will be better after the arrival of Romelu Lukaku.
He is a strong man and can support Roma a lot and Roma attacking system will have a deeper resource than the last season. In last days of summer transfer market, they have Azmoun and Lukaku who will play together with Dybala and Belotti as their four main attacking players. Again the reputation of Mourinho helps Roma to get some star players in this summer and they now have better squad than the last season.

They will be more ready to compete for top four and try to go to Europa League final match again. With this promising squad, I wonder will Mourinho sign a new contract with Roma if he wins titles with Roma in this season?
678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: August 31, 2023, 10:21:41 AM
The draw will be today, so soon we will know all the opponents in all groups. It's funny to see Newcastle in the fourth pot, apparently the group where Newcastle gets will be one of the most difficult. Actually, it's not worth guessing now, we just need to wait until the evening and we will know what the Champions League groups will be like this year. By the way, Sevilla is just as strange to see the first group, especially considering how they started their season in La Liga.
Newcatsle United got an amazing past season which brings them to Champions League this season, but it is their first appearance there after many years. By that, Newcastle United are stepping similarly like Manchester City years ago. By starting in Pot 4, they will face with risk of falling in very tough group and meet very strong opponents from other leagues. It takes Manchester City a few seasons to improve their perform in Champions League before more stably appear in knock-out phase.

Sevilla will likely to drop from Champions League to Europa League again as with their super poor performances in La Liga, I have no belief that they will be able to complete group stage well to go to a first knock out phase.

if we talk about Barcelona chances in the UCL it will be difficult after the financial woes from last season which caused Barcelona to find it difficult to bring in quality players or talented players. Im not saying that Barcelona does not have top players, but its impossible if Barcelona only relies on Lewandowski while the defense also needs high quality players.
They are on their ways to improve, first improving in La Liga two seasons ago, won it in the past season. We can expect them to repeat such improvement in Champions League. They were deranked to Europa League last season so let's hope they will not be deranked after the group stage and even can go a bit far in knock out phases.
679  Economy / Economics / Re: CB Consumer Confidence delivers another blow on the US and USD on: August 31, 2023, 10:15:21 AM

The USD received a blow across the market board yesterday, and many might be wondering why Bitcoin rose sharply as well, it's simply due to the CB Consumer Confidence released in the US.
You will always see them logical if you look at those events and reports. If you don't look at them, you will see Bitcoin price moves logically too.

Difference between look at those events, reports, figures or don't look at them, is your psychology is more chaotic, unstable for a former and is more stable, calm with the latter.

Because economic growths, policies and regulations need time to be reflected in societies, economy but with such news, price reacts instantly. While we know that some times what we expect from a new policy today can be very different or opposite in future, after a few months.
680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 31, 2023, 01:30:49 AM
I understand that Mbappé is a big star. And anything he does. He's definitely going to be starting some speculation about him, especially when he is not certain about his future. I also understand that the media is also going to try to take advantage of that, and make news out of almost nothing.

But what I am trying to say is, is there actually any reason to make anything out of the emoji that he put on his post? I definitely do not think so. He is definitely a big star but the media is just trying to print news out of thin Air. And right now I am actually angry about this because most of the News does not have any base. I mean why are they talking about him going to another club? Just because him giving some emojis on his post?
Mbappe wants to create a vagueness about his future that gives social media great opportunity to write many things about him. They take advantage of Mbappe's vague future to get traffics for their newspapers, sites and it's free chance from Mbappe.

People still react amusingly with those news and social media companies will continue their jobs when they see it's good for their companies. If people ignore those news, nothing similar will be seeded again on media. With curiosity of human, they won't stop to hunt for such news and many drama about Mbappe or other star players will appear in future just like how it occurred in the past and with Mbappe currently.
