1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Please share some dangers associated with Airdrops on: July 09, 2024, 03:47:44 AM
Honestly you should be concerned of yourself getting drained due to randomly following airdrop, in fact, right now TON is among the hottest blockchain that it causes so many scammers and phishers to infest into the blockchain and creeping up into its whole ecosystem.

if you don't want to lose your asset, just never interact with airdrop at all honestly, you better off not doing anything airdrop related if you really don't have any idea, the scamming scheme varies so much sometime newbie having hard time recognizing one.
but if you insist, just follow airdrop that's coming from reputable project backed by reputable investor, at least you know who's behind the project in case things go south.

it kind of reminds me LotteFi scam, this whole project is created by scammer that tries to steal money for you and it happened in TON as well, these scammers just never stop.

Nah brother, you're just shilling and the shill isn't even reasonable, TRON defeated by other chains in TPS, TVL, and FEE, tron fee is not even a cheap fee anymore.
many exchanges using fixed rate for transferring stablecoin using TRON at $1.5 while ETH's L2 and BSC only $0.5 - $1 which means TRON is inferior here.

speaking statistically TRON blockchain is not as good as you described.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 3 in the tapmeme niche on: July 06, 2024, 05:20:21 AM
I don't understand these click-to-earn projects, they are truly terrible. A few of them may have made good airdrops, but they managed to attract all of the users to that side. People are desperately clicking for hours a day to get airdrops, and I think they won't make much profit in the end, I hope they win, what can I say.
Really hope things to pay off for the people that got FOMO'd but really i'm pretty sure these tap games exist just to farm engagement though, recently extending the tapping period to the end of the year means they are on full speed milking their users to oblivion.
Since if you think about it, these entire game created just to take advantage of the hype because after TGE who gonna tap tap their screen? heck their coin might lose volume within short period of time.
no fundamental, no long term product that could give profit to the foundation and its users, I just really have bad feeling about it.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could TON be the new Solana? on: July 05, 2024, 09:40:30 AM
this coin is having good rally but that will end soon.
I expect so many of the tap swap game and similar to be abandoned once they are done with the TGE because the result will probably be so disappointing that people wasted half year (and the campaign probably will get extended since the dev are so greedy) just for few cents.

the botter will get higher chance of stealing your allocation since well you know it, they are cheating and yet the developer just don't care.
and at that time TON will also be the one that get affected the most, so i don't think it will be the new solana, lets be real here, solana far better than this coin from the multi billions defi to very active community.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: July 04, 2024, 04:48:00 AM
Before the FA cup finals kicked off , pep guardiola while addressing the press sounded like they were having some kind of pity for Manchester united been a sister team and having to struggle all through the season with almost every of the league games they have been playing, I at some point felt he was sympathizing with them and so seeing Manchester united winning the FA cup at some point didn't come to me as a surprise because somehow I was hinted about it from guardiola's statements earlier before. It's not been spoken about because it appears most persons too were also sympathizing with Manchester united if not it was very obvious and clear Manchester city had more chances of winning the FA cup, even the squad that played the finals was their main first 11 so I believe Manchester city would be unstoppable on a normal day.
if that is true then that means it's rigged but I think you guys overthinking it, FA cup winner should be the deserving winner not just some title being given away, I think man united deserved the win and many people just underappreciate it.

these pep's statement thing is just conspiracy at best.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we going to experience above $80k in this month of July. on: July 04, 2024, 04:35:44 AM
There is no particular signs about this month July that avails optimism that bitcoin price could go up $80k within the month to be realistic but been an unsure market about where the direction could weaver in the next days or weeks we just have to stay optimistic that the price might touch there and if it doesn't then, it's wont won't below $55k however it dips. I still hold an optimist view about the price of bitcoin soaring even above the 80k price before the year ends. It's less than five months and a lot of our expectations could still occur.
it just needs the doubtful situation caused by mt.gox come to pass and we can finally back on track to see the bullrun again, I think $100k is still possible let alone $80k since the big guys like blackrock are still buying bitcoin and accumulating it but the fear among the retailer is at all time high for this year so it's understandable that many people choose to dip. so i think the whales are trying to make the price lower to anticipate mt gox so that not much capital of the market escapes the market.
we see bitcoin ETF is a huge success, i don't believe that BTC will just back to bearish again like this. this sudden price correction is to eliminate future hassle that could hold buying pressure in the future, since it affect perpetual trader the most.
soon the market will bounce again.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM DCA-ING on: July 03, 2024, 06:46:50 AM
That's the spirit of true HODLERS right there Grin

I'm pretty sure some people with likewise mindset that got lucky enough to bag all the way from a thousand dollar a bitcoin to 70 thousand dollars a bitcoin are people with massive diamond hand that don't give a damn to the market price swings.
i've seen plenty of such stories in twitter, many of them believe bitcoin will go to millions ever since from the very start, which I admire because their patience truly pays off.

you know DCAing is also one way to be stress free from extensive behaviour of monitoring the market, sort of invest and forget it Grin which I also personally do.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Price diffrence and jupiter dex ? on: July 03, 2024, 06:38:25 AM
What you need literally is just slippage setting to prevent you from getting too low rate in exchange for your coin and you're set.

Also try to make bunch of small transactions so that the liquidity pool will not get disturbed too much, I always find the entirety of the DEX auto market making mechanism to be broken for low valued meme coin which lacks LP-ers as well as new coin that just recently got listed.

one reason why you should use any DEX's limit order feature instead  Grin.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Over 100 million players on Hamster Kombat 🤯 on: July 02, 2024, 05:12:36 AM
this 100 million player probably will turn into 100 million haters to the project, if the project underdeliver, it means there will be many scrutinize and fud, the reason people joined this project tapping every day because they are hoping for life changing money, but seeing the disclosed allocation like what is mentioned by some people above, i can bet that this project gonna fail, this could instead taint the reputation of crypto to many people if i'm being frank here.

Hamster kombat is hyped all over the place i saw it on Twitter Instagram and tiktok this game really hit the market. All age old and young play this game after not coin hyped.

But to be honest i dont think this airdrop gonna give u chunk of money but still the hyped are real
there's also misconception that this game will give big money from the people around me that seemed to try this project. a misconception like this could become a time bomb, waiting to explodes once the airdrop event is held and turn out 10 million hamster kombat point equal to few cent.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever Hated someone because he/she win too much, when you are constantly losing? on: July 02, 2024, 05:03:03 AM

- will you (for the sake of peace, maybe to hide your envy, jealousy) continue to go gambling with that friend? And continue to lose your money?
- or will you tell him point clear that you are no longer interested in going to gamble with him? How are you gonna do it so he doesnt suspect that you are not happy with his constant winnings, when you are constantly losing?

Envy is human nature but try to channel that inner peace to not make it big of a deal, you see your friend winning big time, just take his advice on what you should place bet on, i mean since his winning rate is so high just following his every decision is probably the way to go.

being salty is one way of you having your downfall, whenever I got a friend that are so lucky I probably just outright try to follow them without thinking twice if the worst scenario played out and i'm losing due to following him, well too bad maybe i'm the chosen one bringer of bad luck Grin
but if the opposite happen and we won, then I guess i'm gonna have betting guru that i gonna follow faithfully. always consider it as an entertainment at the end of the day. the post creator up there shows a sign of being paranoid if i'm being honest, all those wins probably because he's just lucky you know.

13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Was it a Gut's feeling a Mathematical calculation or a Coincident? on: July 01, 2024, 09:27:23 AM
I can say that everyone bought scratch ticket out of gut feeling.
ain't no way people feeling so unlucky gonna just go buying some scratch ticket randomly, so the chance of people trying to explain their luck by just simply having gut feeling is higher than you probably expected.

since it's basically just game of luck, i'm pretty sure the winner wins because it's pure luck, so I think anyone thinking it's due to math calculation or something like that, just overthinking it.
the guy got lucky that's all.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking Advice: Pros and Cons of Buying Tokens in Pre-Market on: June 30, 2024, 03:19:58 AM
Pre-Market is just full of small buying orders with inflated price, this doesn't reflect the real price at all, just see most of the pre-market available in the big exchange always bunch of small buy order probably to deviate people perception of how much the coin actual worth really is.

to buy the coin in that stage is disaster for your investment, better wait a little bit and find out the real price, when coin gets listed, the first minutes are full of price swing anyway you can figure out the bottom and start buying from there.

pre-market as far as I know only good for people that just want to reserve price to sell their bags with the disadvantage of needing to put money as a collateral.

it's always disaster for investor/buyer of the pre-market. you ain't gonna be making something from this hugely manipulated market. just be patient men and trade in the real market with real liquidity and real data.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do traders lose money in trading? on: June 29, 2024, 08:18:21 AM
I guess for me, the very basic reason why a lot of traders lose money in trading simply because they fail to execute the most basic trading strategy, sell at a price higher than the buying price. Probably because not all traders are real traders in the market, some are just self-acclaimed and just own the title without having proofs. This boils down to the realization that some traders are not well educated and not well aware how trading works. But mostly, only greed and fear matter to them.
well of course everyone want to sell at price higher than the buying price but things doesn't always go like expected you know sometime market just turning bearish out of the blue and caught many people off guard.
there's reason why there are billions of dollars liquidated in the perpetual market because doesn't matter how good you are, you can't predict the future, at best you just bet on something that makes more sense such as shorting when bitcoin is reaching all time high or longing when bitcoin reached RSI index of oversold.

trading is just more of risk managing, knowledge can help but really the market doesn't really follow textbook guide or whatever theory is available out there.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 28, 2024, 08:26:00 AM
I found it very funny when Jiri said that Pereira uses black magic and that if he were a man he wouldn't use it in fights. This is a great justification to show his own failure and how out of touch with reality he is.
his entire statement is a standup comedy worthy material. it's making me laughing so hard honestly the first time I see that kind of statement.

I mean when people taps or sleep they'd always try to find some excuse, but this excuse of using magic is beyond me lmao. probably such statement could only come from him and him alone, can't imagine other people throwing such silly accusations Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum ETF to start trading 2nd July? on: June 27, 2024, 05:13:20 AM
What is everyone's thoughts? will this make much of a difference to current market conditions?

I'm just thinking that this ethereum ETF gonna be underwhelming, there's no strong inflow of money to the ethereum market despite so many ETH being locked in as TVL for the dapps protocols, makes me wonder whether people truly bullish with ETH at some point.
because if it is an underwhelming ETF, it could cause the price of ethereum to go down, there are many people over social media tweeting that altcoin like eth gonna take diverging path in term of price trend compared to bitcoin, this ETF approval might be the thing that causes that.

but the fact that SEC disclosed that the ETF process is going smooth already give a relief to majority of ETH holder, but i'm more concerned of how much capital this ETF spot market could attract, i hope it is at the level of bitcoin.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How it everyone feeling during this altcoin crash? on: June 24, 2024, 08:20:50 AM
If you still maintain a 50% profit after the collapse of altcoins, you are in really good shape. The majority of investors did not make it, as is the case with most declines.

I can clearly say that I am at a loss, and I am not surprised by this, but even though it may not be the bottom, altcoins are at the bottom, so I am not worried and I am waiting for the moment to come. The market is like that, it really puts a strain on people's psychology, and it's not easy to endure these devastations.
Man, good thing i've reallocated most of my portfolio from shitty altcoins to at least the better altcoin (ethereum), the ETF really does give strength to ETH making it among the strongest altcoin withstanding current waves of price correction.

can you imagine had I still not reallocated my asset, i would've been -60% probably which could erase my profit i make from the beginning of the bullrun all the way to today.

pretty scary landscapes in the altcoin market, some even so sure that altcoins facing bearish season due to many projects getting undervalued.

the benefit of sticking to etheruem and bitcoin is like this, more resilient toward market correction, even if it dumps it doesn't dump too much compare it with TIA for example, losing 50% with just slight market cough.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coin without algorithm or backing on: June 23, 2024, 08:51:10 AM
Have you ever thought that in fact collateral approach multiplies a money supply by 2?

I.g. if USD has a value then USDT backed with USD  also has value - then it means that both have a value and therefore you have existing USD money supply +  newly created USDT money supply

This way I can back USDTT with USDT and say that USDTT is backed with USDT an so on
USDTTT backed with USDTT
USDTTTT backed with USDTTT
USDTTTTT backed with USDTTTT
USDTTTTTT backed with USDTTTT

and with your philosophy they all will have a a value but they wont

This is why 99% of ICO tokens can't retain even its initial capitalization that equals to amount of ETH spent , cause you create another supply  - not replace existing one

But in my case we burn one supply and create another in another form and even in another place. I burn 1 ETH and emit 3500 USDx - the total value does not change

USDT backed by USD doesn't mean it generate value out of nowhere brother, it just means your USDT can be exchanged back to USD and the USD that's used to collateral USDT usually put in reserves.
if the USD used as collateral is not in reserve, when someone tries to exchange back USDT to USD and money is nowhere to be found, the stablecoin will lost its peg.

I think you got your logic wrong here mate.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on political events on: June 22, 2024, 08:37:47 AM
Here I propose to discuss all political events in all countries on which bets are placed, and not just political events in the United States.
It's not bad, but I feel that it's not really necessary. First, not many people who gamble are interested in politics. Second, not all people who actively gamble who come from certain countries can gamble legally. Based on not caring about political contestation, people don't understand the chances of who will win and how they do the analysis to be used as a bet.
People can easily absorb information about political contestation in literally just one narration, the entire political complex aren't really that complex, political contestation always have certain outcome if its demoratic election for example presidential election, I think you can easily judge from the sentiment of people and make bet, its so far the easiest thing to learn because unlike learning sports where every team have different structure and different players that usually dynamically exchanged politic is as simple as people taking sides and there's only very limited candidates.

Not to mention there are usually survey that take samples on predicting the outcome of the election that could help in people's analysis big time, you can't do this kind of thing with sports.

First, not many people who gamble are interested in politics.
Totally incorrect, almost all of my friends who likes to bet always talk about politic, its not rocket science when entire dynamic of politic is the biggest thing that gonna affect our lives moving forward, i can bet that almost the entire population that aged more than 21 talk about politic constantly.
