1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor Mcgregor VS Michael Chandler 💥🥊💥 on: June 06, 2024, 09:59:52 AM
i'd bet on chandler connor isn't really a good fighter he used to be but i'm pretty damn sure he still got the energy to trashtalk people like what he did with his fight against poirier.
i'm eager to see how he's gonna perform after long hiatus but i just have the gut feeling that he gonna underperform, but i'm more pumped to see him eventually fight with poirier again he said its not over then we'll see

hopefully this will not be cancelled the odds pretty close to each other i'm sure because we just don't have the data about how well connor perform thing will adjust if he still retain his capability tho.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 03, 2024, 05:02:25 AM
Islam Makhachev in his statements after the match. He said that gold gloves are harder. He said that he could not open his fingers fully and that the glove closed itself. Other than that, there was not much difference. If the gloves are harder, doesn't that mean there will be bloodier matches in the future? Going back to the card, the expected results came. I thought Strickland and Islam would win, and that's exactly what happened. It seemed to me that Islam could have finished the match more easily, I think he might have extended the match just out of respect, I'm not sure.
he didn't purposely extended the match I think, he's said to have staph infection ongoing the match which probably caused him to be rather weak compared to his usual self, there's even proof of discolored skin on his foot during pre-shoot photos which give me that impression in his match against poirier he was not as effective as in his previous matches..
but undeniably the match was good enough both sides doing their best poirier is giving a good fight for makhacev.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Exchange tokens or Crypto Wallet Tokens?? on: June 01, 2024, 08:06:29 AM
Crypto exchange tokens will consistently lead the race due to their diverse use cases, including transaction fee discounts, staking, governance, initial exchange offerings, and collateral. These features offer much more than what cryptocurrency wallet tokens can provide
what crypto wallet token offer is just a wallet, literally it, also most of those wallet are free and even if they're not they not gonna get used when there are many free alternative that is just better.
funny thing is that, i see this act by bitget as rather petty, you know creating exchange token and wallet token, why not just create one and put all the feature into one maybe it can compete with BNB but no.
they try to make two token for whatever reason, probably due to different division in their company which I could understand but it just come out as a completely unnecessary.
as far as I know binance the same popular exchange also having wallet and OKX if i remember correctly also don't plan releasing a wallet token and that has proven to be wise move for them no need to make completely unnecessary token.
but its good for the user of the wallet at least they got some free money which at the end of the day advisable to convert to BGB for the sake of using the additional feature that BGB offer more.
but thats just my opinion, i might lack knowledge about the wallet token they tried to release after all.
really though the crypto space never lacks money to fund these tokens.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of my salary should I use to gamble on: May 29, 2024, 06:46:57 AM
i have firm believe that people who gamble should be done with their needs first, they should be at least quite well off or have spare money, there's no point in engaging into such activity if someone is so broke, they just gonna make things worse.
be well off first, have that spare of money, and then engage, of course if you somehow believe and so optimistic that your pick gonna be the best pick in the century you can always mess and find out, since probably you gonna be regretting over it if it turns out truly to be a victorious pick on your side but then again know your financial capabilities and stake only what you can afford to stake, there's nothing more harmful to your current financial well being other than forcing yourself into something that you shouldn't do.
just know that some people doing it for entertainment because it is entertainment for them since sometime they already have too much money so they want the excitement and adrenaline, other than that if anyone is so broke they barely make ends meet.
they simply just trying to put themselves in difficult situation, at least thats my opinion and of course i can be mistaken about it.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: May 29, 2024, 06:42:56 AM
I feel quite confident in Mike Tyson in any case. Ulcer is something my grandmother had, and while it is a pain and terrible feeling when it flares up, unless he has it flare up during or before the fight, then he should be fine on regular days.

This of course is important information, because lets say he had it flared up that day, he wouldn't be able to fight properly at all, no matter what you do, it is not a single day fix, so it would impact the fight, but we have long time until the fight and if it doesn't bother him on the day of the fight, then this means nothing at all, even punches to the gut doesn't make it flare up, so it should be fine. I still 100% believe that Mike will mop the floor with Jake no matter what happens.
he should be fine with good diet that couldn't cause ulcer but I think even then it should be addressed seriously, there should be no risking the life of a fighter even more so with the case of mike tyson, the legendary boxer i've seen plenty of people getting admitted to ER just because ulcer, it sometimes can be serious you know and life threatening if not getting the right treatment. also couldn't imagine to have ulcer flare up when in fight its truly debilitating thing if it suddenly flares up, hard to breathe and so on there's certainly reason why a man a caliber of mike tyson getting nauseous and dizzy it means the ulcer truly bother him.

but like many other said regardless, the fight probably won't be fierce fight anyway probably just to demonstrate how capable of mike tyson in his old age and thats it.
I guess thing just gonna went smoothly with this one and hopefully that is the case.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you are confident with your picks, do you win most of the time? on: May 28, 2024, 01:13:31 AM
I mean if you are confident then there's nothing stopping you from getting that win but since there are many things that could determin the outcome of your picks you shouldn't get your hopes too high otherwise when thing goes wrong you will feel immense regret.
remember having confidence in your pick doesn't mean somehow the universe will favour you and what ever you pick suddenly gonna be the best pick in this world.
you should realize that in some platform the odds are adjusted so that it has 50:50 chance.

so honestly even with confident, if the pick is shit then its shit, there's no excuse at all, like in football, the biggest club can get rekt by the smaller club.
its just how it works, sometime things turns out as expected, or not at all.
overall, its just depends on your luck, thats why its called speculation in the first place, you can make prediction, but the outcome doesn't necessarily align with your prediction.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Memecoin Gambling verses Normal Gambling - which is more profitable? on: May 28, 2024, 12:09:08 AM
with meme coin there's more variable that you need to take into account just to get a fair game, remember the rugpulls and all, there are shitty devs too in the meme coin world which sometime dominate the space only very few meme coins making it into more than millions of trading volume.
just see the list of recently added coins in the coinmarketcap https://coinmarketcap.com/new/

you will see that every day there is meme coin added, regardless of whether they have malicious code built in to their smart contract to acts as a backdoor for the devs to rugpull people.
but seeing the statistic alone, in a week there's hundreds of meme coin being listed in coinmarketcap, that without taking into account all the coin that available on dex like in solana which counts to thousands.
sometime its just not a fair game with meme coin the odds of winning is small with this statistic alone, you probably gonna profit from 1 out of 100 meme coin.
the rest of them just gonna cause you to lost your money.
so betting on meme coin, you got home work of finding the right meme coin first, eliminating the possible shitty coin shoved up to our throat just to get that fair chance and that doesn't even guarantee that we can make money.
sometime the coin is illiquid to you know, buying the coin means there's no way to convert it back to money.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: May 27, 2024, 11:52:01 PM
It was reported that he got sick, while travelling Miami to Los Angeles, and it was diagnosed as a ulcer flareup. Maybe he just need to see his regular doctor though for a follow up checkup but he says that the is ok, so I guess the fight is going to move as scheduled although this is a scary news,

Quote
“He became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare up 30 minutes before landing, a rep for Tyron said in a statement to media outlets. “He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him” and is now feeling “great”, the rep added.

https://deadline.com/2024/05/mike-tyson-ulcer-flare-up-flight-recovering-1235941826/
yeah ulcer is a bi**ch can't have good life with it but good that now he is already feeling great.
honestly though I think its not gonna affect the way he fights, as far as I know, it'll only flare up when he got stressed or when he eats something he supposed not to eat, thats the disadvantage of old age, too much things preventing people from enjoying life, but honestly does it also mean that mike himself didn't really do a great diet with his upcoming fight to keep his health or he is having too strict of a diet it affects his ulcer we don't know for sure.
just hoping that nothing comes up around near the time he supposed to fight with jake paul, really want to see what mike tyson could accomplish in his old age against few decades younger boxer in front of him.

It seems like he will be just fine, but still, it does not seem like a great idea to allow a nearly 60 year old Tyson with serious health issues to be competing in a professional fight. Some of his problems are serious enough that he sometimes needs a wheelchair or a walking cane. There is too much money involved that they probably won’t cancel the fight but it is still a disgrace that Jake Paul is trying to build a name for himself in boxing by exploiting an old man who is far from being in adequate fighting condition.
in the same opinion but regardless if the money is big as you said there won't be stopping this match.
regardless of jake paul attempt on exploiting the old man to his popularity, but honestly if he were to do that, will he really gain popularity as a boxer fighter, because he's facing significantly older man its losing match for him, he wins he gonna get trashtalked, he lose then get even more trashtalked. but I guess it can boost his popularity in entertainment industry.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cash out or let it ride? on: May 05, 2024, 08:12:36 AM
Good thing you later decided to cash bud, congratulations on such a good win, if I was in your position, I would have cashed out too.
exactly. if the bet is really true, i'd have cashed out too i just can't let the opportunity to multiple money like that slide just because greed.
as much as many reward promised there is but a win is a win even more so with that much multiplier.

no need to get so nervous on waiting the last game to settle and its already good enough profit that for someone with good money management at least it could settle for some years.
definitely a peace of minds.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't make your bets when you're tired on: May 04, 2024, 06:10:13 AM
people who are tired tend to not focus and overlook slgiht detail, this slight detail could be the deciding factor in winning bets.
I think that is why its not recommended in placing a bets when someone is tired, but you should know that if its game of luck, the tiredness won't affect a thing.
but i guess the follow up decision of whether they should further make a bet when they lose or not could be the reason why it does make sense to halt making a bet when we are tired.

usually the adrenaline of placing a bet won't appear when we are tired anyway so it doesn't work as an entertainment if we are just so tired, better get a sleep first then make decision later.
things can wait.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: May 02, 2024, 05:03:25 AM
I believe Paul's entire game will be around tiring out Tyson until he can do something. Because it doesn't make any sense for him to face him straight away and go for a knockout. If he does this he will suffer a lot
definitely, ain't no way he just gonna risk that by facing tyson when he's not exhausted yet, probably just gonna try to do whatever is safest for him and then try to be aggressive later on.
but surely mike tyson gonna figure that out too and take countermeasure right such as trying to not exhaust himself to play the long game.
but we don't know for sure ego also at play here, as far as I know someone like jake paul definitely has high ego, probably trying to prove himself or something.
we will see when his match finally live and judge based on that, i'm sure people will make many opinion about the approach that either jake paul or mike tyson is making.
but i think in term of reputation its always gonna be a losing game for jake paul, well if he could win somehow surely that gonna turn the tables here.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stopping the curse of losing streak? on: May 01, 2024, 09:44:29 AM
In bad luck, switching games makes sense. New sport, vibes, maybe a new start? But are we fixing the problem or just distracting ourselves? It feels good in the moment, that rush of the unknown... but that high is temporary. We're not addressing the cause. You said it: too much of anything is bad. Football, basketball, or whatever, this is sports betting 101. Knowing when to retreat is the actual skill that sets pros apart. That advise about resting after a loss? Straight wisdom. Your mental game matters more than your bankroll, guy. Blasting through losses is a formula for disaster
well indeed switching over to the new game is more of distraction, its just to refresh the mind nothing more and its probably just an escape from the lose streak but in my opinion it could helps a little to just calm the mind since with calmer mind it might lead to another future victory but can't deny the fact that like as you said, too much of anything is bad, i mean being too fixated so hard just because we are eager to compensate, thats definitely bad behaviour that might lead to another streak of losing just like you described.
at the end of the day, retreating just for the sake of not losing too much is always the best strategy, things can be sorted out in the future and all can wait.
what better is to make the right strategy before going in again, its true, pros knows when to retreat and thats what sets them apart from the newbies.
but it could also be just the nature of that pros in which they have calmer mind so they know what to do next and not to do some useless things.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: April 30, 2024, 10:47:20 AM
This will be among one of the top fights ever in history in boxing. From my observation and information Jake Paul simply want to make a name in boxing, and that's what he us working towards of which this fight can make such show.
I believe  Mike  will end this show in 6 seconds with a a super Knockout(KO) can't afford to miss this fight.
Let's not exaggerate, this is an exhibition fight, and that alone disqualifies it to ever become as important as you claim it can be, and if that was not enough this is a fight between an influencer and a boxer, which despite being at the top of the boxing word when he was a professional, he is way past his prime.

So if you are excited about this fight that is cool and all, but do not try to make this more than what it is, otherwise you will be disappointed when you watch the fight.
agreed with this and its probably just to test what mike capable of when he is in old age already, jake paul probably try to make name in boxing but he already popular honestly before even engaging in real boxing world.
its just exhibition match, sole purpose is making name and money, i don't see anything more than that, but it might pave the way for jake paul for his future career if he somehow wins, but if he didn't well its just exhibition match.
remember that being old don't lie, stamina depleted, anyone expecting mike to be performing like he was in his prime days will be in for disappointment, though i can be very well wrong about this.
just see the match for what it is, not to mention that its live in netflix is obvious, this fight is not to create the most awesome nerve racking boxing fight ever.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you cashout or wait for the game to conclude? on: April 29, 2024, 06:09:21 AM
it depends on the person if he thinks its a good money he got he can just cash it out if the guy is adrenaline junky he definitely just gonna go all in, go big or go home they said.
so if someone got money in their purse already they can just wait until the game to conclude because we are speaking about big profit if all the game concludes and nothing slipping just be sure that you are confident with the next game if not then its just better to cash out it doesn't hurt to get lesser profit than your ultimate expectation since profit is a profit.

i mean at the end of the day you can always find other game in the future with the profit that you've gotten.
if you are so good at doing this thing surely you will find your ability to be advantageous later on, try to find proper reasoning to make the decision.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stopping the curse of losing streak? on: April 29, 2024, 05:48:40 AM
Everything is exactly as you described and I follow the same advice. Usually, when I experience such streaks it indicates that I am tired and need to switch to something else. Or it simply may not be my day which is also a possibility. In that case it's better to stop for a while.
switching between games usually refresh the mind, for example you are too focused on the football matches, you got bad streaks you can easily switch over to UFC or basketball or whatever sport that you have knowledge of then it works as sort of mind refreshment when you see new things.
personally I really like footballs, basketballs and UFC even sometime its chess too, you know betting on those definitely have different experiences, even more so when you are watching the matches you definitely gonna have that pump of adrenaline.
but overall if you face lose streak, then its better to just rest for a week or a month to keep your mind fresh, always remember everything thats excessive isn't really good for you there is reason why people doing too much thing might messed up just like working, business and so on.

forcing your way out of problem after series of lose streak will make things worse only so this advice is really good for those that contemplating whether they should just force their way to make up for their losses.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Israil Madrimov vs Terrence Crawford on: April 28, 2024, 11:40:21 AM

So a win here will make him a 154 lbs and maybe his next target will be Charlo or Fundora or Tim Tszyu. And obviously, this is stay busy fight just to avoid ring inactivity for Crawford. And to boot, he will be fighting for the belt, so very favorable for him.

This is going to be an easy win for Crawford and will establish his presence in the 154 lbs and I don't think these names will be a threat to Crawford, I followed many fights of Crawford and he shows perfection both in power and skill something that is lacking on those names.

Crawford has never been challenged in all his fights, but he keeps getting better as he gets older, if ever he goes further in weight is there a possibility that Canelo meet him in the ring, I hate it when Canelo makes another excuse to beat first top fighters in his division before going against him.
crawford gonna win but i doubt its gonna be easy win even madrimov himself already had over 300 amateur fights, but it gonna be great to show dominance of terrence crawford since we all know he is more experienced and versatile anyway crawford needs to watch out for madrimov punch as well just to not underestimate it, but i think seeing the previous matches from madrimov on youtube i can assume that he still has many weakness showing such as lax defense if i were to bet i'd bet on crawford full on.
this match we will see how madrimov could fare against crawford I doubt he could do much though but i'm pretty sure he could hold on until few rounds then getting KO'd probably thats just my rough guess though since crawford got the reach advantage here. we will see how crawford gonna stomp.

18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why has bitcoin prices not increased just after halving ? on: April 27, 2024, 10:56:42 AM
you are too impatient, the bullrun needs time, the whales need to accumulate, often time its just to make those paper hand cash out first because they gonna be burden on the price candle because the paper hand are the first one that unload their bitcoin, I think thats the reason.

also, don't get your hopes too high, there are even speculation that the real bullrun will only come after a year by seeing the chart in 5 year interval, you don't get quick profit out of this, you need to hold and its gonna be rocky, there will be many price correction along the way that shaken your faith in HODLing but don't stop HODLing because only then you can make profit.
i learned the hard way missing out on so many opportunity not gonna miss again just because scared of price correction for all I know.
bitcoin approved of its ETF means bitcoin is good enough and consistent enough to be investment instrument that you don't need to be too scared the price won't go descending to zero.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: If China Supports Crypto, Where Can Bitcoin's Price Go? on: April 27, 2024, 10:44:45 AM
you will find out when it is the time, all of prediction here are just prediction, we don't know for sure how much flow of money china gonna contribute towards the growth of crypto if they truly intended to accept it.

to be frank, we don't even sure if they gonna really accept and support it for real or not, until the time we get to see they finally support crypto then everything is uncertain.
we should be talking more about the ETF anyway, many countries are already approving crypto and creating their own ETF and approving it, it might be the catalyst for overall crypto growth.
i will be lying if I say that these ETF kinda have low impact but thats exactly why we should be more focused on this, since it allow crypto to be exposed to entire world liquidity and legally regulated at that.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you depend on game predictions by supercomputers? on: April 27, 2024, 08:15:10 AM
lets see how the accuracy of those machine prediction first, i mean in my opinion, all the things that factors to the victory of a team all can't be represented into a math, i might be short sighted but its all pure luck also have a role in this regard, these machine only good at showing the chance of win, but what you gonna do with that chance? for example if liverpool has 45% rate of winning EPL, well what gonna happen could be very well the remaining 55%, same thing with other, but we can also see the accuracy of the machine by just comparing it to the real world event that happens.
see whether its prediction could at least reached more than 80% then we might talk about how to use this machine to make prediction on these football matches and so on.
but honestly right now i still don't believe it, if its just giving analysis and we can use that analysis to our advantage by gathering as much information as possible then it does make sense but doesn't mean we can do something with the winning chance rate since at the end of the day its all about win or lose.
