1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SDC] ShadowCash | Welcome to the UMBRA on: March 18, 2017, 08:21:20 AM

Can confirm...Bitbay is real deal marketplace. This dev has been around since Blackcoin launch at least.

Hey VeritasBS! Long time no talk. Hope you are doing well. No hard feelings from before Smiley ... glad to see you are still supporting SDC.

Anyways I wish you guys good luck on the rebrand. I'm a supporter of the efforts you guys have made so far. What motivated the peculiar name though? It seems like "Shadow" is better for darknet branding. Or are you guys trying to change your target market to clearnet?!

Anyways Shadow, you guys knew about my project before you made your comparison chart. Why didn't you put BitHalo/BlackHalo/BitBay on there?! I can understand if you guys think its closed source but actually it's not! You can download the source package at www.davtonia.com/bithalo/haloobf.zip

Veritas you might recognize my hilarious Dogefuscator! Remember our fight on IRC? I look back at it and laugh. Smiley

Anyways I hope you are doing well.

The code can be audited in that regard, and many sections don't have variable name changes either so its very easy to decipher for a gifted coder.

Eventually though I will remove the Dogefuscator and put it on Github, its just to prevent obvious cloning attempts. I've talked to other devs and they tell me that they don't get too many contributions to source on Github so I just didn't see the advantage. Perhaps you can point that out in your comparison. Realize we do have a reputation and moderation system that is based similar to downvotes. We use "flagging" and give users a certain number of flags per month.

One thing we don't have is ring signatures but that is sort of easy to add since there is several code bases that we can fork into it and felt like UI/UX was more important.

Granted our market cap is low (only a few million) because we got screwed 2 years ago by the founders but we have made a comeback, they are long gone and the founders left me holding that bag the second it started. But the pegging will rectify everything.

In the meantime good luck. And consider a way to not abandon the Shadow brand. If you do indeed plan on accepting all coins consider the investors who are here and that this decision was made as a surprise to them.

Dzimbeck, the wild west days of alts are long past. I have no hard feelings, actually quite the opposite...I am refreshed to see the people who are still around from those days. Your dedication to your project is admirable. It's great to see you are still working on Bitbay. I've been watching the project from the beginning (I own a small chunk of coins...😝). The Halo projects were revolutionary and before their time, they were like the first "smart contracts" in crypto. We could have made a great team back in those days...

I have had no involvement with SDC for a couple years, nor do I own any coins. I have nothing to do with the team other than I believe Ryno is an honest person and (like you) dedicated to his project. I agree with your take on the "shadow" branding, but as I said, I have no involvement in the decisions.

The Greed is biggest issue in cryptos.

Although I agree with your comment, I don't believe greed was the motivation in this case. The dev team has worked diligently on this project for over two years without compensation. In order to compete with the DASH's of the world, the development needed funding and a full time team. The merits of the plan to transfer SDC to PART can be debated but the motivation for doing so was not greed.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SDC] ShadowCash | Welcome to the UMBRA on: March 18, 2017, 07:29:06 AM
this is the first decentralized market with currency ever ,,, and every body's trying to talk it down because of a rebrand  ,,,, just LOL
No it's not BitBay has been around for more than a year with double deposit unbreakable contracts as well.

And OpenBazaar is centralized, they use arbiters who can steal escrow. (2 of 3 collusion)

In Bitbay you can use cash for your deals to insured by double deposit.

bitbay is not a decentralized system ,, first clue is the login page

https://www.bitbay.net/  us old ones are slow

No it's www.Bitbay.market

Can confirm...Bitbay is real deal marketplace. This dev has been around since Blackcoin launch at least.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Blocktix - An Ethereum event hosting platform designed for the real world on: March 01, 2017, 11:23:08 PM
Ticketing is HARD. How will you beat Ticketmaster?

There is no need to beat Ticketmaster initially. Blocktix is designed to be appealing to midsized events that would normally use ticketing services other than Ticketmaster. There are 1000s of these events held each week that are 100-5000 attendees. Once the userbase begins to grow in a  region, the incentives to host ever larger events on Blocktix is gained through the marketing platform and user base with money (ETH/BTX) in their application wallets.

Please read the website https://blocktix.io as much of this information is covered.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Blocktix - An Ethereum event hosting platform designed for the real world on: March 01, 2017, 05:43:23 PM
In order to make it easier for Blocktix users to purchase tickets, we will have a portal that integrates with partner exchanges, for users to easily purchase ETH to buy their tickets:

Phenomenal work. When more people see the quality of this project it will be considered the premier DAO built on Ethereum.

Are u selling tickets to new comedy with adam sandler hyped by mojo? Nope I cant support this. Ur exchanger could be a shapeshift 2.0 if organized and developed well. U should provide users with an option to convert ETH directly to apptokens instead of tickets to unknown crypto meetup.

This doesn't even make sense. If you are not trolling, please attempt to understand the project before giving your insight.

Blocktix is happy to announce that we are attending EDCON.

Good luck and don't forget to do a photo report from the conference.
Besides it will be great to get more information about the plan who do you plan to promote your product on the market? Whitepaper is quite short and I would even say that for some investors the way you presented information will be hard to accept, sometimes it is better show some flows in diagrams. What social campaigns do you plan?

i can not see your project be in EDCON, you just listen ..lol

I saw pictures tweeted by la chaintech this morning of Ryno presenting Blocktix at their event. The other presenters included VB himself. This is the real deal project.

Blocktix is a community sponsor of EDCON...this is awesome!

You seem to be the most butthurt individual ever in crypto. You've been pounding sand on this for well over a year. I lost more than the entire value of this ico on the Gox "hack" but got over it...is there something else going on here?

You inform the community that “smart money” has come to Gemz.

You tell us how you’ve masterfully traded a half-dozen other coins.

You tell us how you’re both a long-term holder of gemz, and yet constantly (and successfully) trade it.

You resort to personal attacks when someone challenges your credibility.

But please, elaborate on your “smart money” rumor.

Now's your chance to prove me wrong.

I made no personal attacks. I made an observation and asked a question of you...Why have you been pounding sand on this for well over a year? How could this course of action not lead me to believe you are the most butthurt individual in crypto?

There is no "smart money rumor"...I am smart money and I have been buying. I have nearly 6 million GEMZ at this point. I'm up 2x on 4.5 million of them.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: GEMZ - Unmoderated thread on: August 28, 2016, 04:24:39 PM

I did not participate in the ico. I have traded in and out of this coin on exchange. I have recently picked up 1.8million more GEMZ. If you look at my post history you would wish you had followed my advice over the last few years.

Here's what you said in November, 2015:

Quote
I am still very hopeful that this will all work out in the end. I have over 900k Gemz and was (am) planning to hold my investment for a long term.

So I was wrong. You likely paid much more than 50 BTC for your 900k gemz, as I generously calculated at the cheapest ICO prices.

You are the single biggest loser in this scam, and incredulously, you are still buying more.

I'm down for sure but not by much, maybe 8-10 btc in value. I have traded the swings on this coin as I do every coin. I've sold and bought, made some/lost some. I am likely the largest holder of this coin at this point as I've been buying this base (200-600sat)...we will see where it goes from here.

If anything comes of paykey without getgems, I will personally bring suit to recover paykey to GEMZ holders, its rightful owners. Post a comment here if you would like to be contacted if legal proceedings become necessary.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: GEMZ - Unmoderated thread on: August 24, 2016, 05:39:21 AM
Smart money is buying this coin right now. There are 250k users of this app. The app is adding 50k users a month without any promotion. The amount of users this app already has is very valuable. Advertisers will soon have to buy GEMZ to place adds in front of GEMZ app users. This buy pressure will cause the price of GEMZ to skyrocket. I believe this has been a waiting game to increase users of the app to a level that has value to advertisers. I would not be surprised to see insiders slowly eating up all the outstanding supply during this slow period.

IIRC you bought 50 BTC during the ICO, making you the biggest loser in this scam.

Let's stop giving investment advice, shall we?

If you look at my post history you would wish you had followed my advice over the last few years. I bought large stakes of the following coins all near their lows and before their major runs...blackcoin, cinicoin, XC, DRK, SDC, FTC, ETH, MAID. It's all in my post history. A large price run on this coin will come out of no where because the users of the app represent value. It's time to acquire a stake.

iOS to date: 83,300 downloads, 14000 daily active users, 54,000 monthly active users. Over 6,250,000 sessions in the last 30 days.

Blah, blah, blah, snip...

What motivates you to troll so hard? Are you afraid of missing out but don't have the balls to jump in? I just cant figure out your type...maybe you're just a crazy motherfucker with unreal expectations brought on by lack of experience. Still, I just don't get your type...move on already.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GEMZ] GetGems - Social Messaging App That Pays - Live on Android, iOS, Web on: January 13, 2016, 03:32:44 AM
Hey I have a questionnaire. So from what I understand, the air drop is live, and there is suppose to be a button in the ap so that you can collect.  I am using a samsung s3 and my version is the latest version.  I invested a significant amount in the ipo, so I think I should be getting something.  What's the deal? Why don't I see that button? Thanks!

I have an iphone, but from what i can remember from android is in order to get the airdrop button, you need to unlock it first by tapping on the right 'card' which says i believe like fb/twitter. After you done that you will see the airdrop card which you need to collect yourself by tapping on it, airdrops are granted 1 time per day.

Thanks I didnt realize I had to like on facebook, post on twitter, and some other nonsense to unlock the airdrop.  Now I see the airdrop button when I click on  it, it requires me to invite friends.  The hoops that you aren't even told about that you have to jump through, a bit silly.

Your point is valid, we noticed this aswell and submitted it to the devs, it will be fixed in the next version.

I still haven't been given a single gem in the airdrop. Is that normal? Thanks!

You will get a lot of Gems if you invite in users that will stay active. I believe the airdrop amount depends on users you invite (who sign in the app and use it) and your activity, i thought also the amount of Gems u hold in your account but im not sure about it. Until now airdrop has been tested with a small amount based on participation and referrals, the full airdrop based on the 27,500 per day has not started yet but will once they have implemented the early buyers allocation. The more users join the network the smaller the shares become, just like Bitcoins rise in difficulty.

So i would say invite another person(s) and use the app more often. For the latter send me your username and i'll add you to our groups which is very active with frequently tipping.

Early buyers perk has been implemented, the airdrop will keep growing until 27,500 per day based on network growth.

It seems GEMZ has lost the buzz...I don't know how this get resurrected.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GEMZ] GetGems - Social Messaging App That Pays - Live on Android, iOS, Web on: December 10, 2015, 05:02:07 PM
I don't know if people have suggested it already but what Gemz app needs is a simple in app function to buy more Gemz. Something like you have a few simple choices, 10 gems, 50 gems, 100 gems bundle. With users numbers that would explode the value of gems.
Id love to see a community around sticker packs, letting people make there own sticker packs and put them on the market for 10,50 like you said would be awesome.

User additions/items for sale in the store (bought in gemz) would get very interesting.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GEMZ] GetGems - Social Messaging App That Pays - Live on Android and iOS on: November 24, 2015, 03:09:37 AM
Yes there is benefits, advertising on all PayKey versions, including "white label", will have advertisements paid for in GEMZ.

So what you're saying is: Citi, and other banks, are going to license a keyboard app that shows ads that are paid for in gemz.

I find this notion absolutely absurd.

Has Daniel even said this? Source?

He has not...to my knowledge.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GEMZ] GetGems - Social Messaging App That Pays - Live on Android and iOS on: November 20, 2015, 11:02:03 PM
Fragout, Nextgencoin, and 1,2 others are trying to push an agenda here. I encourage not to fall for this. These guys have probabaly sold and are trying to push the price down.

No holder in his right mind goes in public trying to make a bad name out of the project he currently is invested in.

The more the price goes down the more these guys get active in pushing their circus act, until they have bought.

Nextgencoin was pushing Vanillacoin as the next big thing in this forum, he just like now being so sure in his critics was very sure about Vanillacoin going to be huge. His prediction failed so hard and Vanillacoin is pretty much dead now. I encourage GetGems supporters not to fall for these fud attempts, these guys love to see the price go down atm.

mrvegad decided to shit on everyone and deleted the whole general discussion with around 70 members in the getgems app and kicked out everyone, probabaly after also selling where Daniel had to make a new one inviting people again.

If you are still holding and no single positive thing comes out of your mouth about the project you are invested in you must be very stupid, i believe these guys sold already and can only gain from this shitstorm.

Think about it, would you type essays of criticism and negativity about a project you are currently invested? These guys or just want to bring the price down or just sold and want to see GG fail. Excuses like its from principle reason are all bs.

Don't include me in this group. I have repeatedly said that I am giving Daniel the benefit of doubt even with the lack of communication. I have said that nothing is clear at this point as to the direction of GetGems token/company, or how the plans have changed. I have also made it clear however that I made an investment in GetGems token/company. The token and company were supposed be (presented to be) intertwined and represent the value of each other. I will protect my investment from any fraud or misrepresentation just like I would any other investment. I am still very hopeful that this will all work out in the end. I have over 900k Gemz and was (am) planning to hold my investment for a long term.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GEMZ] GetGems - Social Messaging App That Pays - Live on Android and iOS on: November 20, 2015, 06:24:05 AM
I don't understand why a lot of people are afraid that paykey will take the spotlight from getgems. Paykey will be the catalyst to getgems mass adoption.

-tb-

How?? Paykey for Banks will have noting to do with gemz and will likely bury any other Paykey version
Or am I wrong Daniel? (I think not since you keep avoiding answering my question.) WILL paykey for Banks have anything to do with Gemz. Yes or No will do.

Already answered.

GetGems is wallet + social messenger. PayKey "for gems" is a wallet to pay within social messengers. Both will incorporate AE when we reach a critical mass of gems users to attract advertisers.

PayKey enables gems payments within any social network, initial version will be released very soon to beta testers.

Last month alone more than 10,000+ users joined the GetGems ecosystem and are now telling others. GetGems for the iOS App reached position #375 on US-Social Networking download chart on Oct 29, 2015 which is an amazing achievement without any outside paid marketing at all.

The mechanism that generated organic growth are the referral system + airdrop and the fact that each transaction has a link to download the app - since most of the transactions take place in group chats this unique technology is exposed more and more. PayKey enables to leverage the social graph of the biggest messenger and not "just" Telegram 65 million active users.

Most "pure" bitcoin users don't use GetGems, we can see this by the amount of users with gems only wallet compared to gems + bitcoin wallets. PayKey "for bitcoin" will attract the "pure" bitcoin users to our technology.

PayKey "for fiat" + white label PayKey are aimed for mainstream users that are still "far away" from using crypto. It's not a secret that crypto education takes time and that there is a lot of work ahead, adding fiat capabilities and connecting with leading players in the financial industry will help grab users that would have previously been unapproachable, and in the future build the bridges back to blockchain technology.

Some of the biggest companies that are adapting to the market and adding fiat:
Circle: https://blog.circle.com/2015/09/22/us-dollar-payments-free-debit-cards-circle-app-updates/
Uphold: https://uphold.com/en/blog/posts/uphold/welcome-to-uphold-the-internet-of-money
ChangeTip: https://www.reddit.com/r/changetip/comments/3laybl/changetip_now_supports_usd_some_thoughts_about/ ("76% of people would not use ChangeTip because it was bitcoin")

Not really. Paykey for fiat and paykey for btc could also include the AE and pay out in gemz which would in turn united all the versions, but we dont know exactly how it will work. Hence the question if there is any link in these other versions to gemz.

The one thing we do know though is if paykey for fiat, paykey for btc, paykey for gemz all come out, have their own AE and there is no connection between them, Paykey for fiat wins. Daniel wins with his 0.5%. Getgems investors - you know the guys who put money and faith in this company are cast aside to play with their messaging app which no longer has a purpose.
To be fair we were warned something like this might happen in the purchase agreement, but I didnt think the very company we were supporting would be the culprits..

"Risk of Alternative Distributed Instant Messaging Software Application

Following the Pre-Sale it is possible that alternative distributed instant messaging mobile software applications could be established. These alternate distributed instant messaging software applications may or may not utilize the same open source code and open source protocol underlying the Gems Mobile Application. The Gems Mobile Application may compete with these alternative distributed instant messaging software applications, and this could negatively impact the development of the Gems Mobile Application and/or the success and viability of the Gems Mobile Application, resulting in little or no value for credits to purchase Services on the Gems Mobile Application."

Damn good find....bascially they knew this from the start....they knew from the start...anyone know a good lawyer? It's sickening to know all this time Daniels anti banking rants he actually ended up being worse than any bank in terms of crypto uptake. Any beta testers if you have a brain should abandon ship. Articles should be written how he side stepped the investors and brought his fiat payment system under the guise of crypto and funded by crypto investors. Scum is too good a word at this point. I just had my entire crypto wealth destroyed by this jerk as he got rich. I invested based on the principles you said you had. Clearly you don't hold them first chance the whiff of money comes along.

Let's just see how this goes. If this is in fact a willful deception, I will have my attorney file suit on behalf of Gemz holders. Give Daniel some time to show us what his plan actually is. At this point we don't have answers.

I'm in London now, will have time to answer questions tomorrow evening.
A lot of misinformation and trolling, hope to clear what I can.

Few quick points:
- Everyone should read the Gems purchase agreement + Koinify platform agreement. The sell, token, milestones etc were very clear and transparent.
- It was not possible to speak about PayKey publicly until we filed the USPTO patent on the technology (in the EU public information can't be patentable, in the US there is 1-year grace period).
- We're very much dedicated to deliver the last milestone and the AE vision.
- Today we understand that GetGems users are very different than the bitcoin "only" users and even more different than most regular fiat users. In order to grow faster with need to tailor our solution to the different markets.

Daniel, It is not clear what your intentions are with PayKey or its interaction with GetGems. I am on the side of giving you the benefit of doubt until things are clear. I think what is clear from the reactions of the posters here is that the "Purchase Agreement" was not "clear and transparent". Was it an intentional deception to name your company "GetGems" and the app/token "GetGems"? Was it intentional that you held out info on the VC investment until after the token sale to disguise the fact that the tokens were not an investment in "GetGems"? No matter what the "Purchase Agreement" says, any attempt to confuse or disguise what the investment actually was will be interpreted as misleading investors. I am still very hopeful that GetGems (the app/token) is an integral part of PayKey and your plans moving forward. I am looking forward to the answers to our questions. Thank you.
