2  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be aware that the government and the haters envies your progress on BTC on: June 06, 2024, 08:50:03 PM
as long as your government allows bitcoin trading, i don't think there is anything to be exaggerated about. but if your government is not pro bitcoin, for example bangladesh, it might be a problem when you are caught trading bitcoin and earning a lot of income from it, because as far as i know there is a law that regulates this and when you are caught trading bitcoin then you can be charged with a crime.

and for bitcoin ownership, i feel that it is better for us to be closed about it and not be too arrogant when we have a lot of assets. because we don't know what will happen to us when other people find out that we have bitcoin, so staying humble and closed is the best way to avoid problems.
I feel like as long as there are exchanges which are legal, then we should definitely consider that as normal. Back in the day, about ten years ago or so, we had to use a company that was based in Malta to make our exchanges, and then money was forwarded from Malta to our bank account in our nation, that was the situation.

Today, there are over a dozen exchanges in my nation, and I am sure many more smaller ones as well. So all in all, exchanges being legal and even making commercials on your tv means that crypto is fine in your world, if it was in anyway risky then someone would have stopped those beforehand, but looking at how things are right now, I can say that it is not going to be an issue for most nations aside from just a few.
3  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: June 06, 2024, 08:23:53 PM
At the very least, they acknowledged that there was a problem, which is a step at the right direction without a doubt. For a long while there were a lot of people here that requested help and nobody from the team even replied, which is why we had some issues with the website, and a lot of people left.

Now, we are looking at the situation and see that there is at least a response, a generic and company account response and not some personal one from thequin or wetsuit, but at the very least a response nonetheless. This is always a good direction to take, it will mean that we are going to hear more from them over time, and if they could actually make the situation go away, they could very well do something beneficial for the customers too.
4  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gambling is a fatal mistake on: June 05, 2024, 08:35:53 PM
"Fatal" seems like overreaction. I had about something similar happen in my life with my uncle, my father had to pay off all his debt after he vanished because he had a lot of gambling debt, and he came back after a few months when his debt was paid and he was in the clear, I still do not speak to him at all.

However, we should realize that we are going to end up with something that will take a while, we should not really consider how we could do better, it's just how life is, and how we need to realize the work it takes to hurt other people. And yet, the word "fatal" means something more than just "a bad feeling", it's about being alive, and gambling doesn't cause you to be no longer be alive, sure hurts you financially, but not physical harm.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the meme coin market cap spike a foreshadowing of bigger things to come? on: June 05, 2024, 07:21:54 PM
It does not really mean anything other than there are many people that love to speculate on this market and they are using meme coins as the vehicle to do this, this does not mean that meme coins have become viable long term investments, because for what I can tell they are just as bad as they have always been and this will never change
Only meme coins, not the market, because market can include cryptos other than the meme coins. Also, it's not that they love to speculate because speculate can sound like a hobby only but they are after the easy and huge money that hides behind the meme coin. Yes, no one says that meme coins are a great asset to hold for the long term but everyone knows that they are only good for short-term use. They may be bad because of that fact, but pro and successful investors of them love them for providing them a profit that can't possibly be found else where.

Quote
however I expect for meme coins to get more active once the price of bitcoin goes up again
BTC can influence others and even not directly, it can still hype up the entire market, so yeah why not?
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you really want from gambling? on: June 05, 2024, 06:09:55 PM
I think life is already hard, we just want relaxing. I have restarted reading books a lot, I do not have that much time, so I stopped when I started working, up until about 24 years old I did read a lot and not just for school but that was all my life, but then life took over and I worked a lot, I have restarted for the past month or so, waiting at hospitals is a great way to read, makes time pass easier.

However, nothing beats gambling as a fun way to spend some time, and it is still the best one, I can't do that all day long, I stop after one hour or so, and that is why I do other stuff like reading, but everyday I gamble at least one hour, maybe two sometimes just to have some fun. Relaxing that way on your couch is a great way to spend time.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Failed crypto project will promote bitcoin more on: June 04, 2024, 08:11:02 PM
I do not really think this is how things actually happen, in my opinion it is way more likely that once a person has been burned by investing in a bunch of shitcoins, that they will simply think about the whole market as a scam and leave this market forever.

The other option is that since those people would have lost a lot of money with those coins, that they fail to consider bitcoin as an option at all, as it will take them a long time to recover their losses, so they will keep investing in shitcoins hoping for a miracle that will never come.
Indeed, someone bitten by a snake will be afraid of a rope as they say. When traders who are new to the market, face losses from meme coins and alternative coins, they get disheartened by the bad market. They will not understand this, but they will say that one person is worthless to the whole market. There are very few people who reflect on their mistakes, find the reasons for them, and admit that they have suffered losses due to their own inferiority complex. Such people recover quickly because then they find out what is the best place for us to cover our losses.

Memecoins and shitcoins are also major reasons for the popularity of bitcoin and a few alternative coins. Since so many people have been scammed by memecoins so far, now most people turn to Bitcoin, and few people turn to some alternative coin.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pepe in a Memes World on: June 04, 2024, 07:46:24 PM
PEPE coin in the world of meme coin is a popular coin with potential to perform excellent if its team continue working behind the scene to build its strong utility to enhance its value and  create its demand beyond meme coins perception of just fun and joy. What I have noticed that meme coin created on Ethereum network generally perform well such as Shiba Inu and Pepe are good examples, given this historical track record we can expect PEPE coin to perform well.

However, it is crucial to evaluate risk tolerance before deciding to invest in such volatile coins.
Until now IDK if what is the utility of Pepe but if you mean its team should create one, then I doubt if it's possible because the project is already created and it was only a meme coin. I mean there may be no meme coins that has a utility. This means, the coin is not dependent on the team anymore but more on the community side.

We do not have to worry with Pepe because like Dogecoin and Shiba Inu, I think it already built a solid foundation and won't just bulge easily. Maybe you are not aware that there are lots of meme coins now on Solana that are performing better and I think they can even surpass the old meme coins we have sometimes. It's fine anyway if what chains they are on, because they are only just a meme coin.
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: How high is the probability of accusations vs. casinos in BitcoinTalk are true? on: June 04, 2024, 06:09:23 PM
People making posts in an accusation thread don't make the accusation correct or support it in any way, and those making unsubstantial and useless posts in such threads without contributing anything to the topic are usually ignored by most people. A person needs to be a huge fool to see a thread created by a newbie against a casino with no proper evidence and supported by other newbie accounts and believe that the casino is actually wrong.

Those who believe in such things and support cases where there is no enough proof submitted against the casino being accused are better off the platforms because you can't expect such people to not do the same thing in the future in case they face a problem even if it's not casino's fault.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Hunger in a country known for agriculture. on: June 04, 2024, 05:31:33 PM
Nigeria is country that is well known as a typical agricultural nation which was once the mainstay to the country economy and because of the agricultural strength of the country compel them to have their flag as Green White Green which signify agriculture and peace but it baffles me to see the level of hunger going on in Nigeria now to the extend that an average Nigerian cannot boast of feeding himself and family three square meal per day.
What could be the root cause of this hunger in a country that has all it takes including human capitals and natural resources to make a great nation that the whole would will cherish and envy.
No matter how fertile a country is, it needs the best discipline to run it. Perspectives and insecurity in poor toxic farming areas and over-reliance on oil reserves. Small-scale farmers and cultivators do not have easy access to markets and reasonable credit, and rapid population growth is outstripping agricultural production. Political instability and inconsistencies in policy are also major reasons for this.

Addressing these challenges requires a comprehensive approach, involving government, private sector, and civil society efforts to boost agricultural productivity, improve food systems, and ensure sustainable economic growth. Bitcoin might bring changes to such country. I mean people may fight against inflation and unemployment in a country where political things are not good in favour of wellness of every citizen. So, people should find time to educate themselves about bitcoin because bitcoin definitely will bring changes to individual's life and to the economy of country as well.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Labor is really the birth of happiness? on: June 04, 2024, 03:05:23 PM
Those laborer can change their fate if they have a will and do many things. We lived in this world with the same chance but that depends on every person. Not many people have a strong will to change their fate because many people are lazy to moves from their comfortable zone into uncomfortable zone. They feels that they can accept what happens to them and they can live so far but they don't wants to try to do other things that can change their lives.

It is difficult to change other people perception about his lives because that will needs an open minds to see that they have the same chance to do other things. It is about a strong will and what efforts he will do to reach a better lives and only people who have those things that can change their fate.
I don't think we can analyse someone's life without knowing their circumstances. Who knows who is struggling to change the situation and fight the situation? When we are talking, we are not talking about other people's ability and intelligence and mentality, but we are talking according to our mentality, what we can do ourselves, we think that if we do, if you can, others can easily do it, but life is not the same for everyone.

My heartfelt wish is that no one should be poor in this world, no one should have to struggle too much, every person should feel very comfortable in life and good people have good opportunities to live life, but I also know that It is not possible.

I have seen many people who work hard all their lives but earn only enough to spend their time to improve their present and never save much for their future. It is not their fault if they can't do it, because they have challenges in their lives that make it a big deal if they spend their present well but it doesn't mean that I say this for every person, it is not a lie that many people fail because of their laziness, but most people fail after working hard. Compared to them, I am angry at the failure of those who just sit and depend on others, and I feel sorry for the failure of hardworking people.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trump vs. Biden is almost like Bitcoin vs Fiat on: June 03, 2024, 07:45:23 PM
Biden was the one that ETF passed when he was president? How come we do not see that as something good, plus we are talking about regulations here, and saying Biden doesn't let companies be their own custodians is a security and safety regulations. Plus thinking that Biden personally seeks over this issue is naive, there are other politicians that takes care of these things.

Next thing you know, when SEC jails a person for crypto fraud, you are going to blame Biden for doing something like that. Hell, Trump is just promoting lawlessness, and while you may want that for your crypto venture, you may dislike it when someone steals your money and judge just lets him off. That's what Trump promises, whoever scams you ,will go free, and Biden says no he won't. I am not American so I won't vote, but if I did, Biden would have gotten my vote.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I made over $2,000,000 betting on fixed matches on: June 03, 2024, 06:20:53 PM
It is quite curious how often it is to see people around here who have somehow managed to get advantages, in the form of privileged information, privileged software or outright "better I'm understanding" on the sport the bet on.
At this point I am debating myself it could be even possible to somehow moderate these sorts of threads here in the gambling section of the forum, very unlikely.
People will always find a way to scam others, but there would be something done about it.

Who in the right mind would come to an open forum and brag about profiting from something which is ilegal to do?
To me it is obvious OP is expecting to receive DM from vulnerable people and others who believe their story and working them on from there to give some money, in spite of his alledged amount of money thanks to those illegal fixes.

Ignore his claims and move on.
Not ' Curious 'because it's not usual anymore but crazy' due to their outrageous number. And I wonder on why betting sites are still standing strong if they are all legit? But some like the OP, didn't get a so-called 'Privilege' because when we say Privilege, it has been given to you but the OP explored them on his own by using some tools he created (thanks to his coding skills).

I think the forum follows the principles of BTC which is 'Freedom', so unfortunately your wish may not be possible but don't worry because we are on the future already and people won't get tricked by these attempts easily and then those OP's are for sure getting a bad karma soon.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to get a crypto asset? on: June 03, 2024, 05:50:53 PM
All i can think is make work out from your skills where most of those PL is in demand in terms of jobs requirements now. There are many high paying programmers who have background in C# and Python, you can start from scratch there. All you need to do is to start finding those jobs from different job platforms, keep applying until you got hired.  From there pay your debt slowly.
Even though he said that he is a Web Developer since 2009 but he crashed, so I guess it's safe to say that he can start again from scratch. Web Developing or Computer Programming are always known to have a good salary pay, even on the low-paying ones. Sometimes when we have enough money, we are over-confident and gamble more and it's not enough but we also take a loan and when we fail, we also lose our motivation to live and work but there is still a chance and we should not lose a hope.

It seems OP is now ready for it. That's right, he can now act and go on the job listing sites like Indeed.com. There are also gig sites like Upwork and Fiverr, that he can check as well. Nowadays we can easily find a job which pays bitcoin as well but these are all individual's skill set based; it means we cannot have common opinion.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not fall for success stories of bitcoin investors on: June 02, 2024, 07:26:32 PM
I have seen new investors being carried out by seeing the success of big bitcoin investors. But , this is wrong approach in my opinion. Because, I personally feel that most of the people fail and they will never share their story. So, most of the stories that new guy searches , he will find only good success stories. But that is not correct overall picture. One should keep the limitations of crypto in mind as well. What is your opinion about this ?
You're right that the cryptocurrency space is often plagued by survivorship bias where only successful stories are shared creating a distorted view of reality. This can lead to unrealistic expectations and a lack of awareness about the potential risks and limitations. New investors need to have a balanced understanding of both, the possible benefits and drawbacks of investing in cryptocurrencies. They should research thoroughly beyond just success.

Secondly, stay up-to-date with market trends and developments. Diversify their investments to minimize risk. And lastly, be cautious of unrealistic promises or guaranteed returns. Your advice is invaluable, acknowledging the limitations and potential pitfalls new investors can make informed decisions and navigate the cryptocurrency landscape with greater wisdom.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fixed match or not? on: June 02, 2024, 05:21:54 PM
Well, it's suspicious, obviously, but there are certain things one should consider before concluding. If these matches are being recorded, and if there are casinos or sports betting platforms providing betting opportunities for these matches, then there is a high chance that the match was fixed, but if there is nothing of that nature, I don't see any reason behind fixing a match in an under-14 league where even the prize money for the winner wouldn't be very high. From the tally card, I am seeing there are two teams with same level of points which means they might have tried to fix this match for reputation reasons. This is just an assumption and nothing more.

Then again, if we look at some of the recent matches and the points table, there haven't been a lot of matches with this many goals, if many matches had the same results or all better teams were scoring a lot of goals against weaker opponents, this wouldn't have been considered odd at all, but that isn't the case here.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vegas Gambling Tips/Do's and Don'ts on: June 01, 2024, 06:28:05 PM
I haven't been there but I wish that I will go there someday but the best advice that I've heard about is that you should never get yourself get befriended by the locals because whatever they're doing to befriend you, they're most likely trying to hustle you, that's the only thing that I can think of when it comes to this kind of thing, another thing is the timesharing scammers there, don't give them the time of your day and they can take it up when you reject or ignore them, it's a scam that will waste your time in Vegas.
I don't really like judging people but I think I can give exception sometimes, especially on that place. Many people lose there and they are now finding ways on how to have a capital to go back playing again. I don't really get that Timesharing scammers you are telling but I guess they are like the ones who we talked about earlier, so the same measure we will apply and that is ignore every stranger we came across or trying to get our attention.

The only difference of Vegas is they are a gambling capital, so I think it feels incorrect when you say "make the most of his experience" because that sounds like he will need to spend more money playing gambling there which is definitely not recommended.

Also, I'm curious if Vegas has adopted bitcoin at all..if anyone knows?
I read somewhere that few casinos in Vegas got bitcoin ATM. Obviously gambling must be one of the highly contributed industry on adaption of bitcoin hence Vegas casinos must be having some favour for bitcoiners for sure.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are any of you guys are winning with probably fair games? on: June 01, 2024, 05:09:05 PM
I'm currently searching for probably fair games and how they work. Are you guys playing this? If so, which games do you recommend?

Probably fair games, do they depend solely and exclusively on luck or on skills too?
As long as you don't stop right after a loss, there will be a time that you will get lucky, except only if you are sticking on a scam casino of course. Provably fair games are normal in crypto because I think it is related with the blockchain. I don't have a deep knowledge about it but what I only know is that we can verify our results by pasting some values in a box, while if you mean about the games, then they are the same with other casino games where all you need to do is to place a bet, push that button and watch how the action goes in your screen.

Honestly provably fair games are not capable of bringing any changes in my gambling activities; I mean I am facing same kind of loses at the end of the day. Moreover, there are no specific games to start since the goal in gambling is only to enjoy but you can go on what you truly like the most. Good Luck Smiley.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I can easily find 3 odds games on casinos but hard to find on sport on: May 31, 2024, 09:08:51 PM
I find that most addict people are those who claim to find a strategy or a way to beat the casino in a way they gamble daily chasing some profits that in reality doesn'texist. Whoever thinks this way you will find him struggling in an endless circule of addiction not aware that he is only losing to the casino. For your case thinking that sport betting is diffrent than other casino games, slots or live games. The reality sometimes is that betting in sports is way more addictive, because it is more fun when you are interested in sports, you won't enjoy watching your favorite sport without making a bet on it.

I see that gambling with all its forms are the same and should be taken responsibly, if you bet in sports most of the time then you should reconsider thoughts and take a step back, rather than saying it is better than casino games.
For me, I think it was the other gamblers or those who don't care at all (E.g. losing, strategy, or everything...). There are still who continue playing because they are mostly up and they believe it is because of the strategy that they are using but like you said, it's only a false belief. In other more popular terms I think it's called as fallacy and I think fallacy is the same as placebo.

A sports fan is different from a bettor, so there's truly people who can have fun watching a sport alone, then there's also who can go throughout the day by simply betting and not watching a sport even on the ones where they bet on. Sports betting is literally different from casino games and this is why each has its own set of customers, but indeed that whatever type or game was it, all must be taken moderately/responsibly.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A list of lucky casinos in crypto on: May 31, 2024, 08:25:02 PM
I'm curious if this kind of data will encourage gamblers to pick the top number one.
And don't you think casinos will allow users to hit the jackpot now and then so they rank up on the list of the luckiest casinos?
This will be hard to know and bias can also happen here. Winning the jackpot on a site doesn't mean that's the luckiest casinos.
Even if you will rank those casinos, how can we know it's reliable and can work with us too. Luck will always depend on the gambler's faith, if you are meant to win then it will happen on any site, just don't expect that much and you can be good. There's no list with this so far, though you can see a good list of lower house edge casinos.
For us, 'yes' it's the luckiest and others can only believe it is once they start winning too but I think it's still worth the try because who knows right? I still believe that some casinos are only soft and some are hard. If we think we are on that hard one, I don't even think we will stay longer there but we will keep looking for that soft one.

Maybe it's true that luck and faith are related but I think luck is not single and it can occur a couple of times. I don't think that if you are meant to win it will happen on any site because not all site are legit but even if it is, I still think there will be a special place for us. Jackpots are sacred and elusive, so yeah we should not mind it shall we? As we can only lose our minds thinking of it. If it will come, it will only come one day, we'll see Wink.

When it comes to list of lucky casinos, I think I saw one before. It's like written on some section of a gambling review site although yeah, they can be biased with this. On some gambling sites that I visit and play, they have a list of jackpot winners and they can also partially reveal their names but we aren't still sure if they are 100% real or not.
