On what date will the payments be made? Can we get information about this?
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: use Bitcoin to buy other cryptocurrencies ? on: August 24, 2017, 06:20:59 PM
the question is in the title. Is it possible?

Of course we use it. Bitcoin can be exchanged with other altcoins in many altcoins trade sites.
My most preferred site is https://poloniex.com/

A lot of people are using this site. But it is not right to rely entirely on these sites. In the past we have experienced negative examples of this.

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Projects on: June 18, 2017, 12:11:53 PM
Is there a list of projects built using Blockchain? Do you have any idea what kind of projects are being made?

This list contains a few projects built using blockchain, https://due.com/blog/101-top-blockchain-companies/

This is a mixed list, but contains blockchain projects built using Ethereum platform, https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_highest_funded_crowdfunding_projects

I do not know about the technical aspects of building a blockchain project, but do know that you can use blockchain simulators like Ethereum testnet, multichain, openchain, hyperledger, bitcoin testnet to test and try your blockchain project.

Hi,
There are two things I wonder.
For example, can a blockchain project developed for copyrights be used as cryptocurrency?
Can a project developed as cryptocurrency be converted into a different blockchain project?

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Projects on: June 17, 2017, 10:31:06 AM
blockchain projects do not just mean creating an altcoin.
it can mean a service

bitpay is a blockchain project
trezor is a blockchain project
merchant tools and data analyst tools to visualise blockchain data is a blockchain project
asic manufactoring is a blockchain project
smart contracts is a blockchain project
retail support to accept crypto is a blockchain project
conference organising for cryptocurrncy meetups is a blockchain project
blockchain consulting
clothing manufacturing featuring crypto memes/logo's is a blockchain project

there is much much more to it than just making an altcoin

So does cryptocurrency projects and blockchain projects have different development infrastructures?
Can not any blockchain project be used as cryptocurrency? Technically this is not possible?
Are the infrastructure already determined when developing?
For example, can a blockchain project developed for copyrights be used as cryptocurrency?
Can a project developed as cryptocurrency be converted into a different blockchain project?
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Projects on: May 31, 2017, 05:09:42 PM
Blockchain projects are crypto currency at the same time?
For example, when I develop a project using the blockchain infrastructure, I develop a new crypto currency?

no. there are many blockchains intended to be developed on top of. that's why they exist. ethereum's getting all the hype right now because it's being trialled by companies looking to use blockchains for things.

go check an ethereum forum and the amount of projects will make your head spin.

as for whether there's a blockchain in real world use, the only truly widespread application is of course money such as bitcoin.

I would like to develop a blockchain project from scratch without using any infrastructure like ethereum. What is required for this?
I want to develop a blockchain-based project. When I develop a blockchain-based project from scratch, is this the crypto currency at the same time?

Yea man, just check out this list for a good measure of how they currently stack up.

Then Google the name of the coin for more info.

12  Economy / Economics / Re: The best time to invest. on: April 30, 2017, 02:45:31 PM

Some day in the future, you will realize that the best time to invest was not today, but some other day in the future, when prices were low. But with the information that you have today, the best time to invest is still today, because you do not know when prices will be low, and you do know that the longer you hold your investment, the more time it has to grow.

Toughts?

People think they are too late to invest. Actually, the opportunities are still going on.
7 years ago it was hard to predict that bitcoin would be so worthy. Many people did not invest in bitcoin at that time.
We are talking about an investment that will gain even more value after 7 years. After 7 years, you need to invest in order not to regret it.

Its never late to invest in bitcoins as even if you start investing in bitcoins at a moment then in future it will only give you positive and positive results and now if you miss to invest in bitcoins then in future you will surely regret for not investing in it at a right time.

I think so too. The price of bitcoin rises very rapidly.

14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: April 16, 2017, 03:14:26 PM
Nowadays we do not use paper money anymore. We do all our shopping online. We do not need paper money for clothes, food, etc.
Payment systems are constantly changing. Bitcoin is the result of this change.
So Bitcoin is a real payment system. Yes bitcoin is a money.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs altcoins because ... on: April 13, 2017, 09:04:41 PM
I do not think Bitcoin needs altcoins. Each altcoin brings different innovations. But as a payment system, Bitcoin already meets our needs.
Even if there is no altcoin, bitcoin will continue to exist in the population.
I think bitcoin also need altcoin to foster price. Well, to buy altcoin, or distribute bitcoin, sometimes it takes a bitcoin, so, people need to form altcoin bitcoin, and bitcoin it makes the price to rise. Well, now very much a project and of course it affects the price of bitcoin.

People value the value of something. Even if there are no altcoins, people can claim bitcoin. As people buy bitcoin, the price will already increase. There is no need for altcoins for this.
You have a point even theres no altcoin bitcoin can stand alone on its own and you are right if theres only one to be focused on then expect the price or value will shoot up but we cant really avoid that there are people who will made their own coin believing that they could able to make another coin which similar to bitcoin that would makes them famous and rich.

I do not trust the altcoins. Many people think that altcoin's price like bitcoin will increase. They pump up some altcoins and raise their prices. People are starting to take a rising altcoin. Later, when a quick dump comes, many people are lose money.

But even if the price of the bitcoin falls, it rises back to its former price.
if the price of bitcoin remain stable then trading alt coin using your bitcoin is also a good option and  you can really make good profit from it. as i am a good trader and i mostly trade alt coins for making money.

Altcoins can be used for short-term investments. But it makes more sense to use bitcoin for long-term investments.
For example, last week the price of XRP went up too much and many people bought XRP. Then the price began to fall.
16  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people believe in religion? on: April 03, 2017, 05:02:06 PM
religion is a belief. when we have a stronger sense of confidence, we will always abide by all the rules and stay away from all prohibitions.
This is human nature are born in this world. This world was created by God.

Is there any evidence that the world was created by God?
People want to believe in something. But they do not question their causes.
From Bigbang to day, all processes can be explained without God. Can you prove the existence of God?

Big Bang is theory. This means that science has not proven that it is real. Even if science proved that a big bang could happen, then they would have to find the way to prove that this was the way the universe was for sure created. Seems to me that they are quite far from that.

Processes cannot be explained without God. Science law is cause and effect. Everything exists from the ancient past according to cause and effect. Scientists want big bang to be the great first cause... the causer of all other causes. Big bang is theory, but if it were real, it would be God. Why? Because it would have caused intelligence and life... things that cannot come about by accident, mathematically.

Further proof for the existence of God:

Cool

What is the theory? What is the scientific theory? You should investigate these concepts. According to you, gravity is not real in theory at that time.
Bigbang theory is a theory that can be explained experimentally. We do not know exactly what Bigbang was before. But research continues. I would recommend reading the "false vacuum" theory.

If something is not explained to you, it has to be a God. If you were living in the time of the vikings, you would have defined gods as the reason for the lightning. But today we can scientifically explain how thunderstorms happen.

I played both. But my favorite is Go.
Go is a game I love as a philosophy. Also the rules of the game can always change. You can lose what you think you earned at a time. It could be the exact opposite. You can win a game you think you lost.

20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: April 02, 2017, 10:43:25 PM
How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?

If people stop using bitcoin, bitcoin will be dead. We see it in many altcoins. Some new altcoins are rising in price when demanded. Later, when people stop using it they dead.

Apart from this, the bitcoin system will always be.
yeah if bitcoin users stop to using bitcoin then it will be dead but its impossible because a lot of people are using bitcoin and altcoin will be never rise than bitcoin because there is a lot of services are available on bitcoin.
That's about right because we the people are bitcoin, nobody owns the technology and we the users and miners control it, no governments involved and that is how is was designed for use from the start.

But we must also use it as an everyday currency as much as we can i think, the more the word get out there then the more retails will be willing to accept it, online shops especially are always want to offer their customers the latest thing before their competitors.

There are some problems for daily shopping. Especially the process of confirmation time is a problem. This problem can be corrected by entering high fee values. But it takes a while for people to change their habits.
Beyond that, we can advertise bitcoin through our social media accounts. The more people have knowledge of bitcoin, the more they become used.
