1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 120$ Loan defaulted by [Supreemo] on: July 22, 2023, 03:16:07 AM
~

I guess I already expected this kind of response here. Even last time when I was asking an honest question about a scam gambling site where I had been scammed for 10kphp I instead was accused of being cahoots with the site. Although, there were still lots of people who gave helpful response which I was thankful about. I don't blame anyone though, it's hard to trust where we can't identify real people.

And about the telegram, I don't think there was any risk involved though. What I had were files that required only effort to get while the other side only provided account details which he or she could have recovered any time he/she wanted through email recovery.

~

I honestly am not expecting that much anymore, I already see this as a lost cause since as I have said, I had no proof of any of my claims. And while I am truly not the scammer or have scammed anyone else, I can't say I am completely clean.

I guess I just felt I had to say something no matter how useless it would have already been since the accusation is not a simple issue. It involves money that someone worked hard for. I have been scammed and phished several times already myself, the last thing I want to happen is to be labelled the same as such scammers/thieves that I furiously hate.

If ever I had to leave because of my multiple accounts and sending merits, I didnt want my last image in this forum to be as a scammer.

I guess I just hoped a bit that there was a way to identify any differences or whatever between me and the scammer somehow. But I guess that hope is already down the drain.

While it's not a good feeling to lose something you have given effort to build or be accused of something you are not, I already have too much on my plate right now personally. I don't want to waste anymore effort on something I have no control over nor engage in conversations that may degrade the image I've built here even more if I get triggered emotionally somehow and say things that I wouldn't want said to me as well.

Besides, it's my fault anyway for trusting that person, be it in the time of pandemic or not. Sucks to be me, I guess I was just unlucky.

Well, maybe you can see this as my last effort to clear my account from being a scammer. If someone gets to prove my claims somehow then great, if not then it is what it is.

I enjoyed conversing with like minded people during my stay. Although I won't be initiating in conversations anymore since no one would even want to converse with an account that has a scammer label stuck on it, I can still read posts here when I am curious about news related to this industry from time to time so I guess that at least is a good thing.

I actually ended up typing more than I originally wanted but felt quite relieved being able to express my thoughts. I am letting go of this issue now and would probably stop visiting this forum for quite some time for some peace of mind.

Regardless of how I am being seen right now, I'm thankful for you both for taking the time to read and actually responding with your views on this.

2  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 120$ Loan defaulted by [Supreemo] on: July 21, 2023, 01:01:58 AM
I swear on however small of a reputation I have in this forum that I have never scammed anyone nor will I ever scam anyone. I am not in any way connected to supremo or karmamiu.

The only thing that I am guilty of is giving merits to my alt accounts out of desperation which are Similificator, Vatimins and redhondaxrm125. And I have fully admitted my fault about this issue and have never done it since. Which is why the supposedly negative trust that was given to me by "lovesmayfamilis" was changed into neutral.

The account evilgreed is only an account the was lent to me in exchange for some favors (trading learning materials) by some random guy on my old number on telegram back then. I have only been able to use that account on a few campaigns. And yes, used some of its smerits on the account that I REALLY owned. But after that, I long decided to stop using the evilgreed account since I had lost contact with the guy after losing my main phone. Also, he still had the recovery email so even if I wanted to claim the account for myself, he could have easily recovered it.

On the very few occasions that we had conversations on telegram, he was friendly and had not scammed me nor changed the account password even after I have sent him the files he asked for. So I eventually thought that the guy I was chatting with was at least a decent person. I really had no idea that he was a scammer or anything. Had I known what type of person he was, I would have never borrowed that account regardless of desperation due to unemployment.

Again, I really am not a scammer nor am I in any way connected to the accounts supremo and karmamiu. I wasn't raised that way by my parents and I also know too well the feeling because of lots of experience being phished and scammed myself.

Reading most of the responses and having nothing to prove my innocence about this, I am feeling really sad and hopeless right now. It may be small change for most of the people here but for me, what I earn from bounties, regardless of the amount helps me and my family a lot in making ends meet along with the other odd jobs I do. That's why I am trying to be really cautious about the things I do here and try my best to not ruin the chance I have to earn in this forum.

In my stay in this forum I enjoyed conversations with likeminded people, have grown a lot and have gradually put a lot of effort in most of my posts. I have been helped and was able to learn then later on have become capable of helping out other members as well which I did as much as I could whenever I had the chance.
I really hope that as much as I have tried to help others on some occasions in this forum at least one person would also try to help me out in any way to compare the accounts I own to the accounts being accused of scamming that would distinguish the difference between them. Although, I don't know how that can be done and that if ever it would take a lot of effort.

I really am lost on what I should do from now on and think that making this response might already be useless and won't change anything.

I was really shocked after seeing the negative trusts and the reference on the 13th of July when I was about to remove my sig and try to look for some other open campaigns. Since then, I have been contemplating a lot whether I should still try to explain myself or not since I didn't know how or what to do to prove that I am not connected in this scamming thing or if there would ever be someone willing to make an effort to help out some random stranger online like me that has nothing of value to provide in exchange.

Still, I just went ahead and made this response. Although not expecting much, I'm still holding on to that hope that someone who knows what to do about my case might still try to help.

Whichever the case thanks for reading my side.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking is not as trustless as it used to be on: May 24, 2023, 12:30:13 PM
I remember the good-old days where you could stake coins like Peercoin and Blackcoin on your own node in a decentralized (trustless) manner. After ETH announced its intentions to become a PoS coin, those days are over. Most PoS coins require you to "lend" your coins to a validator or third-party for you to start earning income right away. ETH, Polkadot, Polygon, and many others now work this way. Isn't crypto's intended purpose to eliminate the middleman? By requiring trust in a PoS system, you're bringing back centralized banking to crypto. Money talks, so don't expect this to change anytime soon.

Do you think there's hope for PoS to become decentralized again? If not, why? Can we blame governments and VCs for the path PoS has taken lately? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley

It is really sad to see the direction where all of this is heading. Too bad though, we small investors/users cannot do much about this since it is what makes these things thrive despite the strict regulations. Two good things to be positive about this though is that it reduces scams and aids mass adoption even if it's just a little. Where PoS goes from here is something that we can only speculate about at the moment. Until we see favorable regulations for this industry, we really can't tell for sure. I'm keeping my hopes up though, since there are still a couple of people that are leaned more on privacy rather than just profits.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Interpol Guidelines to Digital Forensics First Responders on: May 24, 2023, 11:47:04 AM
Welp, seems like the interpol has really invested a lot of time and resources just to get a hold of other people's investments, lol. That would only mean a bunch of work added to the digital forensics team. Not that I am saying it's completely useless but the ones who would be massively affected by this are those that are small time criminals or those that aren't even criminals. The real criminals would most probably be able to find workarounds from this and never get their hidden cryptos found.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: US Debt Default: Good or bad for crypto? on: May 24, 2023, 10:44:26 AM
Of course, it would affect bitcoin in a bad way. Just like any other bad news in the past that were significant enough in the eyes of the majority, it will drag the price of bitcoin down and depending on the severity of the issue, the price of Bitcoin also follows. Just imagine what the effects would be by then when a negative news that includes the US ever arises like what you have mentioned. It will inevitably affect the price negatively. But this doesn't mean death for bitcoin though, in my opinion, bitcoin will still be able to recover even if such an event happens in the US. (This includes the entirety of this industry)
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: It was easy to know the SELL of this week with a simple chart analysis on: May 24, 2023, 10:14:30 AM
Welp, it's nice that your TA worked out for you and that you find it easy to know when to sell. As for me though, I still can't say I'm winning always on my trades be it on bitcoin or altcoins. I still struggle from time to time and make bad trades since in some cases, the indicators I use on one trade along with the strategy sometimes do not work on other trades, not to mention the confusing patterns that don't even work out that often. I guess I am still finding my sweet combination of indicators, time frames etc.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price motivation benchmark: on: May 24, 2023, 09:33:36 AM
For me Bitcoin has been my 100% portfolio and up to this point, I am glad that I choose that part even though Bitcoin price has undergone a lot of changes lately, my BTC vs $ balance has shown green and also red-negative movements which is a pointer to the activeness of bitcoin volatilities.

Knowing that Bitcoin is volatile in DCA pricing and also having a balanced market that shows not too much of a sign, e.g. 50% price movement within a few hours which is a sign of pump, or a drop in price significantly below 50% which is a sign of dumped.

Bitcoin has a cycle to help calculate its movement unlike those altcoins that have high centralization, subject to pump.

Good for you OP, congratulations on your wins. Bitcoin truly is a good choice when you have a good amount of $$ to use as capital. Saves you from a lot of headaches. It is indeed volatile but not too much compared to other altcoins though, specially sh*t/meme coins.

While I think that going for bitcoin is a good choice, it would also be great if you'd try to venture into other altcoins as well and expand your portfolio for better opportunities in getting higher profit percentages. If sh*t/meme coins are still too much for you right now, there are also well reputed altcoins available out there that are not as risky. Afterall, placing all your eggs in one basket isn't really a wise decision.

Just always remember to create a different investing strategy for altcoins though, since altcoins are a lot more volatile that bitcoin.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is "dying". on: May 24, 2023, 09:07:09 AM
There are indeed disappointing things happening to Bitcoin right now which may make it seem like the ideology of bitcoin or its purpose is already slowly dying. Well, that is one way to look at it. But in another perspective though, it can also seem like improvement through trial and errors which can truly benefit Bitcoin in the long run. It really just depends on how a person sees all these things that are happening to bitcoin. I guess the best thing to do would be to just stick to doing what you have been doing all this time or to what you think would be beneficial not just for you but for this industry as well instead confusing yourself with other people's opinions and views.
9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: All bad - like the main one? on: May 24, 2023, 08:46:04 AM
Just like oil and water, good and bad don't mix well. That is why when the leader is bad, most of the people already expect that the team members are also bad since the good members won't last or stay good for long. They either get detached from the team or get influenced by the majority and then turn into something bad as well. The same goes for the teams that have good leaders. Which is why we always need to be mindful of the people we surround ourselves with because we can only end up getting isolated or getting influenced if we choose the wrong company.

But there will always be a way out through a separation techniques that will distinguish the food from the bad, the shaft from the grain, it may take a little more longer for the process to be achieved but it's not going to be denied, bad people are everywhere, you can find out that it's the leaders that are bad in some situations while the peopleay be the ones being bad in another settings but our stand being upright will judge right and vindicate us if we did not join them in doing the right things the wrong way, because there's always a recompense to everything we do in life.

I know you are trying to be positive but if you read my response to OP again, you will see that my main point is that if a person that is good or bad is placed on a group of people that are of the opposite attitude/personality, that person will inevitably be alienated or influenced by the group. Which is why most people tend to judge others depending on the type of people they surround themselves with.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could Litecoin Really Go Parabolic This Summer? on: May 23, 2023, 12:32:00 PM
The next Litecoin halving event is coming in August, and that has investors excited about this coin's future upside potential.
Seemingly out of nowhere, Litecoin (CRYPTO: LTC) is on the move again. The coin is up 13% over the past seven days after significantly underperforming the market for much of the year. Over that same period, both Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) and Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) are basically flat.
What are your thoughts on this litecoin resurgence?
https://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.fool.com/investing/2023/05/20/could-litecoin-really-go-parabolic-this-summer/&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwjVkKLGwYf_AhWSh1wKHSZeA644ChDF9AF6BAgFEAI&usg=AOvVaw15_1gXfZa3YHxMgRUwxc7c

I honestly don't feel that great not being able to buy Litecoin a few weeks back. I really missed out on good buying opportunities. If only I had the extra funds back then, I would have never let such great opportunity to gain good profits slip away. Heck, I would've even set up positions on futures if I had the funds. I am still planning to buy in the coming days when I am able though since there's still a good potential to gain profits, but not as much as I had intended to a few weeks back. Anyway, good luck to us all! xD
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ($LINK) Chainlink Price Prediction on: May 23, 2023, 12:06:18 PM
Back then when I saw profits, I sold. I was hesitant since I really liked the project, but I unfortunately needed the funds back then to buy more of the coins in my main portfolio. Although I really regretted it a bit later on since the price shot up even more, as months pass, that regret I felt was exchanged with relief and thankfulness that I didn't get too greedy and decided to sell when I already got my profit goal and a bit more.

Right now, I am still observing and looking for buying opportunities later this year and just DCA if I end up buying a bit high.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before investing on meme coin or shitcoins consider this. on: May 23, 2023, 11:34:34 AM
Shitcoins are starting to gain hype so to avoid losing your hard earned money read this.

1. They are not created for long term most of the time shitcoins exist for short term and devs who create it will dump this because they move to their next project to avoid losing your money sell it immediately once you are in profit.

2. Never believe about devs promises since they are not really there to help you but they want to scam people and want o get rich quickly.

3. Be realistic and don't join the FOMO since this could lead up losing your money.

4. Never believe on people telling you to hold or even buy more they just want their target to get hit and for sure they will dump it without your knowledge so sell first before other do so that you will not end up chasing pumps to gain back your capital.

5. Most important of all became a smart investor and never doubt on possible profit which is not in your hands. Always be grateful on profit big or small since this could give you contentment and became always bullish on your investment.

I agree with your points. These are the things that I often say to most of the people who asks me about Meme coins and shitcoins. Although I do not advice investing on those for beginners, if the one asking about it is really set on jumping into Meme coins and shitcoins, I don't stop them as well since it is also a great learning experience. Besides, there truly are profits to be gained from these types of coins if you just know what you are doing.

Too bad though, despite giving the advice, some people still tend to fall in love with their investments which makes them ignore all the knowledge they have and go titanic ship captain and sht on their investments. Sticking with the coin despite the sinking price ending up losing more than they should. Oh well.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin trading be my sole source of income? on: May 23, 2023, 10:51:53 AM
As a young person, I am overwhelmed by my curiosity in trading Bitcoin, but I'm not sure if it is appropriate for me to resign my white collar work and return to trading exclusively Bitcoin.

This was a conversation a buddy of mine and I had yesterday, and I felt compelled to bring it to this illustrious platform for the best types of advice and counsel.

Is it safe for a Bitcoin trader to quit their jobs and focus solely on Bitcoin trading if they can devote their time and attention to maximize the benefits in the Bitcoin world?

Personally, I would advise you to always have backup plans if you really want to go full time trading. At least be financially stable first before quitting your job(s) just to focus on trading crypto. Also, it would be best that along with earning enough money to support you on bad trading seasons or losses, learning as much as you can and getting used to trading in this industry on your free time is something that would be very beneficial for you in the long run.

Of course, there are also those lucky ones that really risked it and started focusing on trading then just diversifying their investments on other industries to financially stabilize themselves.

It really just depends on the type of person you are and the circumstances you are in.

Anyway, however you want to go about it, good luck and hope you succeed. Smiley
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 100K FOR 2024 ! on: May 23, 2023, 10:30:10 AM
~

Yup, was also gonna look for the support for his claims. But hey, at this point when the price barely even moves, some positive speculation is quite refreshing to see. Although may seem unrealistic because of the time frame it isn't really that bad.

Regardless though, just as what you have said, I too hope that OP devices a better investing plan and not one that is reliant on this speculation of his since he may just end up losing money. Specially if OP is trading on futures.

Also, we can never really tell if we still need to reach 2032 just to reach 100k which is why it is so fun to watch and speculate about the price of bitcoin while slowly accumulating and increasing our stash. xD
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wrong Predictions as price keep failing! on: May 23, 2023, 10:06:08 AM
Nobody bitcoin price prediction has work this season, I told my friends early January that this year will still be difficult for bitcoin to rise since they're still blocks on digestive and ingestive policies of government, why bitcoin should not stay by government. But they argued me to a fault but I knew bitcoin will not gets to $40k this year. The price will definitely rise but not at the moment. Do you predict the price to any level year?

Well, that's just how most of the people are. Choosing to only believe what they want to believe. Emotional biases are really dangerous when investing. Even with the basic knowledge about trading and investing, if a person is not well in control of their emotions, they are bound to make wrong decisions one way or another. Well, there's just nothing you can do about your friends right now since only experiencing some losses would make them learn better about self-control or the need for knowledge (in case they still don't know at least the basic about trading and investing in this industry yet) to make profits rather than losses on any market condition.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: When will we stop living for the weekend? Escaping the 9-5 life. on: May 23, 2023, 09:40:10 AM
This norm that we currently have is truly difficult for most of the people but there's just no other choice for most since we all need to survive. Yes, you can choose to start your own businesses or try anything that generates money while you sleep but does everyone even have the required time and money to dedicate on that? Especially those that only have minimum wages and are even breadwinners. Most say that you have to take a risk if you want to succeed which isn't wrong by the way. The only problem is that if it isn't just your well-being that you are risking but also the well-being of the people relying on you. And even if it's just you, not everyone really succeeds. Some run out money, hope, faith and even time.

But whichever the case, everything still depends on the perspective and attitude of a person towards life itself. That is why there are people who achieve their dreams and people who only manages to survive.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wife discovers husband's hidden Bitcoin during divorce proceeding on: May 23, 2023, 08:56:55 AM
What a riot. Imagine the guy being relaxed and all thinking he had already set aside good enough money and hid it well just to find out later that the wife went full on detective sht on him and hired an expert to find out that he had 12 undeclared bitcoins, LOL. I honestly kinda feel bad for the guy since the effort was wasted but then again, we don't know what led to the said divorce so I guess he should still be glad that at least his bitcoins didn't get frozen or whatever. xD
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin vs XRP? on: May 17, 2023, 02:59:20 PM
~

If you ask me, Bitcoin would be my topmost priority and there are tons of reasons as to why. But that doesn't mean that I'd also ignore and let myself miss out on the good potential profits that XRP has to offer.

What I'm trying to say is that you, OP should not let greed cloud your decisions. taking risks is good and all but taking risks that are calculated is even better. Just try to allocate your funds well and make sure that you don't over invest on XRP or any altcoin; just enough to give you some space or capital left for DCA-ing just in case. Hope this helps.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Leak Reveals Secret Democratic Plan For A Game-Changing U.S. Crypto Crackdown on: May 17, 2023, 02:27:14 PM
If anything, this just confirms the popular speculation that the governments are really looking for ways to suppress the decentralized part of the crypto currency industry. Worse thing is that they have the perfect excuse and most of the people who don't know much would just blindly support this.

Although it may be difficult to succeed with this, we cannot rule out the fact that there is still quite a bit of chance for the government to achieve what they want one way or another. And if it does happen, this industry would probably suffer a huge blow that may take it a couple of years if not decades to recover. In which I, of course, wish would never happen.

Anyway, that's just what I think.
