How can you explain the Bitcoin wallets containing over $70 million USD in funds?

I bet it's Al-Qaeda!

Cain't explain that!
183  Other / Beginners & Help / Few questions about this forum on: September 17, 2014, 09:42:23 PM
Hello guys, I am new, you may not believe I am because of my post count or joining date, but I actually am quite new, I didn't start posting till the first of September.

First of all, why are so many here so poor? It seems that everyone will do simple tasks for you for as little as 0.001 BTC (which is half a dollar) and still be happy with it, just like the economy in China.

And second, why do many users have such horrible spelling on the forum? I am not trying to be rude here, I'm sorry if I sound that way, but everyone seems so grammatically challenged. I mean, aren't they supposed to have built in spell check on their browsers? A few typos would be acceptable, but for people who claim to be Americans ought to have better spelling and grammar right?

Finally, why do some people write in annoying, bigass fonts and colors, then bold and italicize their messages?
184  Economy / Economics / "Multiply your money with guaranty" on: September 17, 2014, 05:17:49 PM
"You invest money and professional traders earn for you 80% profit within 60 days on exchange rate fluctuations of Bitcoin
Multiply your money with guaranty. Start receiving your income every day right now"

What's hilarious is that I wasn't the one who put the emphasis on their terribly spelled "guaranty" in green, they did on their site

What's even more hilarious is that I found out about their site while observing a recent scammer's blockchain wallet (CryptcoMiner) to calculate just how much profit they made.

187  Other / Politics & Society / What we Americans must truly "never forget" (No words, just a picture) on: September 16, 2014, 12:21:55 AM

Clarification:

Monday, May 4, 1970, the Ohio National Guard fired unarmed teenaged students at more than five rounds per second, killing four and wounding nine.

We constantly scream "Never Forget", as if it were the greatest tragedy to befall this nation.
We didn't try to ban guns, when it was the government killing our children.

188  Other / Meta / Do moderators act as intermediaries to the trust system? on: September 15, 2014, 09:24:05 PM
How exactly does the trust system work? Is it possible for someone to give another completely innocent user on here a bad rating, with the red text "scammer, trade with caution"?

Because recently I got threatened to pay someone for a product I didn't actually want, it was messaged to me.

195  Other / Politics & Society / U.S. threatened Yahoo with big fines for not handing over private user data on: September 11, 2014, 11:12:51 PM
U.S. threatened Yahoo with big fines for not divulging user data

"The federal government once threatened to fine Yahoo $250,000 a day for not complying with a national security-related request to hand over user data, the company said Thursday.

The announcement comes as part of a larger revelation: Some 1,500 pages of documents related to Yahoo's 2007-08 case challenging U.S. surveillance law are being released, the company's general counsel, Ron Bell, said on Tumblr.

Cases in the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, which reviews government requests to spy on individuals, are classified.

"The released documents underscore how we had to fight every step of the way to challenge the U.S. government’s surveillance efforts," Bell said.

Yahoo said it was working to make the documents available online."

198  Other / Politics & Society / Ron Paul: Bitcoin could destroy the dollar on: September 09, 2014, 07:25:54 PM
"Imagine a world in which you can buy anything in secret. No banks. No fees. No worries inflation will make today's money worth less tomorrow.
The digital currency Bitcoin promises all these things. And while it's far from achieving any of them -- its value is unstable and it's rarely used** -- some have high hopes."

**CNN lies
"There will be alternatives to the dollar, and this might be one of them," said former U.S. congressman Ron Paul. If people start using bitcoins en masse, "it'll go down in history as the destroyer of the dollar," Paul added.
