Hello
I am currently buying Bitcoins for RSGP at the rate of $0.4/m, whatever that is in Bitcoin
I'm trying to keep this post as short as I can, so any further questions will be addressed below

So Armory has a passphrase that protects your wallet by encrypting it in case the wallet.dat file is stolen by someone. Now I had the passphrase written on a sheet of paper on my wallet, and a backup copy of the passphrase at home.
I was walking around town, some guy tried to mug me. "Give me your money!" he fiercely yelled. "I'm sorry, I only got Bitcoin", I replied. The mugger then took my armory passphrase. I went home sobbing, and called the cops.
Five years later, the cops started working on the case. They found out who the mugger was, they went inside his house, there they saw him opening Armory, he had the wallet.dat and was about to open the wallet. Armory was, as usual, stuck on "Synchronizing with network"
The robber then yelled "PIECE OF SHIT KEEPS LAGGING AND CRASHING ON ME!"
The cops said "That's a security feature of the beta version, your Bitcoins will be so safe, nobody will be able to touch them, not even someone who has the passphrase"

Hi guys. I have two laptops. One contains my actual wallet and armory, while the other has only armory. I made a paper backup to use on the computer that doesn't have the wallet, and when I did the backup, it says "restored" and in security it shows "No encryption". So I had a couple of questions:
1) I already had an encryption passphrase on my wallet, why does it then ask to set up a passphrase again when I'm backing up my wallet on the new computer?
2) Will using one wallet on two different machines through paper backup cause me to lose my Bitcoins in any way? I'm having a hard time understanding how this works. Does the paper backup hold my Bitcoins or what? For example, if I use my wallet on the other computer, will the wallet be empty after being recovered?

*sigh*
Where does one begin to tell the tale?
I talked to the Armory representative that works on the forums here, they suggested I download this other version of Armory. What was my issue? Synchronizing was stuck at 94% and would not move past that point. Oh well, so it worked for some time. Until four months later, when the price of Bitcoin exploded. Excited, I wanted to get my Bitcoins out, but now, Armory won't even start! That's right, nothing happens when I click it!
Should I restart my computer and try it? After reinstalling, it's never been the same.
Right now, I desperately want to get my Bitcoins out of Armory and back to the normal Bitcoin client. I wanted security, but what's security without liberty to withdraw at will?
Help would be appreciated.
Tl;dr
I need to transfer Bitcoins from Armory, but Armory won't start.

Ok so I'm used to Bitcoin mining, where I just click Bitminter and tada! I'm mining
but FTC mining has got all this crazy overcomplicated stuff
This is what my .bat file looks like
cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://stratum.wemineftc.com:4444 -u username -p password -I 13
When I click it, it shows some stuff, then it goes blank, but I can hear stuff going on in my computer, and my hashrate once showed as 134 KH/s then went back to 0
and hasn't moved since
is this normal?

I used to gamble with Bitcoin back in the day (because there are no laws that prevent minors from gambling with Bitcoin ) I put all my Bitcoins in an armory wallet, that I encrypted, and now it's locked in there :@:@ Please don't misunderstand, I have my paper backup and passphrase, I'm not locked out in that sense. You see, when I open armory, either it shows Armory is offline, or if I start it with "skip online check" it does "scanning transaction history" and gets so damn laggy. How do I pull my coins out of armory, I just realized there is no good reason for me to be using armory, the Bitcoin client loads faster and has encryption too. tl;dr - All coins in armory, got passphrase and paper backup, but can't open the wallet. Anyone that helps me will get 10 cents worth of BTC. Thanks.

1) Bitcoins are stored in wallet files 2) Just copy the wallet file to get more coins! 3) ?? 4) PROFIT!

With bitcoins I'm mining at 75 MH/s 4mBTC / day
I'm only mining for fun and not trying to make a living out of it. However, I've heard LTC is better?
