61  Other / Politics & Society / Obama to become the first US ex-president billionaire on: September 09, 2016, 04:01:24 AM
The Democratic multi millionaire President Barack Obama, also known as Monsanto's best friend, is likely to become America's first billionaire ex-president.

Second only to the Clintons, Obama is rolling in millions that he received from corrupt industries, mainly Monsanto, but weapons contractors are on the list as well. There is no surprise that he voted to expand the military industrial complex, as he is a beneficiary to corporate war mongering.

Despite the economic crises that the existence of the federal government has plunged us into, all living former ex-presidents, from Carter to Bush receive a $200k+ yearly pension. In the words of Hillary Clinton, Iraq was a "business opportunity".

Well, Obama did promise change. He just didn't say they'd be good ones. I guess that makes for an honest President indeed.

62  Other / Politics & Society / 20 US Marines charged with causing suicide of Muslim soldier they bullied on: September 09, 2016, 03:47:52 AM
20 US Marines have been charged with causing suicide of the Muslim soldier they bullied and hazed by calling him a terrorist.

The Marine Corps have recommended charges involving the recruit's suicide, after the 20 year old Muslim jumped to his death in South Carolina, March, 2016.

" Investigators said a drill instructor hit Raheel Siddiqui, a 20-year-old Pakistani-American, and called him a terrorist, Marine officials told the Wall Street Journal. Three internal investigations revealed Siddiqui leapt from the balcony of a barracks building to his death in March at the Parris Island Recruit Depot after the drill instructor slapped him in the face. "

63  Other / Politics & Society / 911 on: September 08, 2016, 11:55:05 PM
Just three days from now, we will reach the 15th Anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks in New York.

As always, I will ask the most important questions regarding 911. I'm not a truther, in fact, I am a reverse truther. I do not claim to know who was behind the September 11 attacks, but I do know who wasn't. I certainly know it wasn't "angry Muslims who hate us for our freedom". By way of deduction, it's really easy to figure out:

* Who benefit from the attack?

Sometimes, it is better to answer a question with more questions. In this case:

* Without the 911 attacks, could the Bush Administration have ever justified the invasion of Iraq?

* Without 911, could the Government be able to appoint shills to try and justify mass surveillance, such as NSA's PRISM, as well as numerous other attacks and infringement of civil liberties disguised as National Security (ie The Patriot Act, NDAA, etc)?

It's quite obvious that the answer to, "Who benefit from the attacks" is clearly:

* The Saudi Arabian and American Governments, respectively

* The various corporations that sold weapons and related stocks which increased as a result of the foreign invasion of Afghanistan

* The various corporations appointed for "reconstruction" of the now permanently destabilized regions of the Middle East

* Anybody who wants to pass anti-immigration legislation by pulling the 911 card

And this is not even focusing on the physics behind the collapse of the towers, or building 7 either. These are just regarding the politico-social climate that has existed even prior to the September 11 attacks.

Your $300 Beats set is no longer worth shit, because Apple has decided that cancerous persistent Bluetooth radiation is fancier than using traditional headphones. But hey, for only a couple extra hundred dollars, you can buy a pair of iPhone 7 compatible headphones!**

**Won't work on any other phone, and sound leakage has improved, from 100% leakage to 300%! Wow, three times the improvement! I'm sold!

Also, it's water resistant! What a unique new feature! Wow! Oh wait.

Firms advertising the new device on Facebook have found a creative way of hiding the top comments which bash the product, referring to it as a flop! Wow, Apple is certainly so creative!

Innovative too, as they invented a way to keep selling outdated technology for $1000 a piece! Get it now!

ISIS bans burqa after "veiled female assassin" kills two terrorist commanders in Iraq.

"The incident surprised the organisation and forced them to issue an alert of similar attacks"

It looks like ISIS has a lot in common with European white supremacists, almost as if they were funded by the same government or something.

Who do you think is behind it?

Yes, there was a DDoS attack.
67  Other / Meta / Bitcointalk downtime, or just me? Edit: DDoS attack confirmed as per Theymos on: September 05, 2016, 09:53:51 PM
Is it just me, or was there server downtime for a significant period of time? (>30 minutes)

About half an hour before making this post, I mean of course it's working right now. I got an error code which I forgot to save when it finally loaded. Anybody else?
68  Other / Politics & Society / South Carolina police chief "vows" to arrest anyone who dresses like a clown on: September 05, 2016, 12:50:26 AM
Not the Onion

Greensville, South Carolina, originally reported RT - A South Carolina police chief has stated that he will arrest anybody found to be guilty of dressing like a clown, following up to "suspicious activity" that was reported in the area.

This action came in response to several clown sightings in the area, which allegedly terrified the residents. One resident reported clowns "whispering" and "making strange noises".

Police Chief Ken Miller has made a direct press statement about the issue:

“It’s illegal. It’s dangerous. It’s inappropriate, and it’s creating community concern so it needs to stop,”

I guess this means they have to get on the 2016 Presidential Candidate debate podiums and arrest everybody on stage, including the reporters, followed by members of Congress

I recently got contacted by someone who somehow had a very dead, inactive Armory wallet address that I had, asking me if it was my account. He was inaccurate about the funds that are currently in that wallet, which leads me to believe that he checked the balance through blockchain.info, but where did he get the wallet address from? Did he save it from when it was listed on my profile? That's the one that's linked to various "markets" (you guys know what I mean)

Undercover law enforcement officers have attacked peaceful Native American protesters at a Dakota Access pipeline construction site with pepper spray and attack dogs. This is in obvious contrast to the treatment that the white terrorists occupying federal land have recently received.

Yes, that is the blood of peaceful protesters on that dog's mouth.

71  Other / Politics & Society / Rapist released from jail after serving half of measly six month sentence on: September 03, 2016, 11:06:50 PM
1 day ago

Brock Turner, a 22 year old male white rapist from Stanford University, was released from jail after serving half of measly six month sentence, sparking protests nationwide. In comparison, Ross Ulbricht received life in prison for buying a bunch of coins. Hackers face more jailtime than rapists and murderers (Related: Hacker who exposed rapists by recovering deleted video to face more jail time than the rapist himself).

Police are on high alert for his safety, because he is obviously the victim here. His parents cited concern for his safety, because he is a convicted rapist walking free in just three months.

This is a rap song I wrote when I was a kid and had nothing better to do with my life (I still don't, but I'm still not as creative)

Featuring Snoopy Canines

I decided to make it politically correct to prevent criticism from social democrats ('liberals'), environmentalists, and feminists

Hello guys,
What's up
I like engaging in sexual intercourse with women
Only if they consent to it first of course
I make a lot of money
But I pay my taxes so they can build the roads
I like speeding in my luxury vehicle,
But I make sure I use Hybrid/Electric cars,
I also never go above the speed limit,
When I do, however, I make sure I know my rights when I'm ticketed
This is what I enjoy doing
Making all the money,
Well not all the money, that would be monopoly
I like smoking marijuana,
Only for medicinal purposes of course
I like having sex with promiscuous women that engage in consensual sexual activities for money,
But I make sure to stay safe by using condoms,
If they get pregnant, I pay for their abortions
I consume alcohol in moderation,
But not on election day, that's when I'm voting for Obama

73  Other / Meta / Are sarcastic/flippant posts considered off-topic by forum administrators? on: September 02, 2016, 12:21:58 AM
I generally try to stay out of trouble here on Bitcointalk.

However, there was this post somebody made about his transaction not being confirmed, where he admitted to having paid a fee of less than 0.0001 BTC

So I wrote: "There's your issue. Wait about a year or two, it will be confirmed eventually."

Obviously, I didn't literally mean "Wait a year", everybody can see that. So I was wondering if sarcasm could still be considered off-topic and give grounds for deleting a post, is it possible?

(This is not an appeal of the moderators' decision to remove the post, just a necessary precaution I'm taking to prevent this from happening in the future and better my understanding of the rules)

75  Other / Politics & Society / 114,900 BTC worth of cocaine discovered at Coca Cola plant on: August 31, 2016, 07:25:17 PM
Signes, France

Cocaine worth $55.78 million USD has been discovered at a Coca-Cola plant in France, according to BBC News.

The drug arrived concealed in a container disguised as a delivery of orange juice concentrate from South America. The 370 kg seizure has been the largest illicit drug seizure on French soil. A federal investigation was immediately launched, and cleared employees of the plant of any wrongdoing. The original formula of Coca Cola, 1886, is believed to have contained traces of the leaves of the psychoactive coca plant.

76  Other / Politics & Society / Black man shot dead for not holding door open for woman on: August 31, 2016, 09:31:11 AM
In a tragic preclusion of male privilege, Mohammed Robinson, a 31 year old father of two, was shot dead in Las Vegas for failing to hold the door open for a woman.

The woman complained to her male companion, who retaliated by drawing his weapon and proceeding to shoot the black male.

Robinson's 14 year old daughter spoke on the issue:

“It was a stupid reason, honestly, irrelevant. It doesn’t make any sense why would you actually take someone’s life over not opening a door,”, Miniya Sampson told the press, “It’s horrible. I want my dad back and you took him away from me!”. Her best friend reportedly witnessed the shooting.

Police are still looking for the suspect, hoping that the surveillance footage from McDonald's will give them some leads. However, there isn't much to be expected, since the perpetrator was a white male.
77  Other / Politics & Society / Trump or Clinton: Does it matter? on: August 30, 2016, 09:51:04 PM
Proving once again that Donald Trump is merely a scapegoat in the Liberal Democratic agenda. Let's look at a list of Trump's most controversial:

1) (On ISIS) "I would bomb the shit out of them"

"They have some in Syria, some in Iraq. I would bomb the s--- out of 'em. I would just bomb those suckers. That's right. I'd blow up the pipes. ... I'd blow up every single inch. There would be nothing left. And you know what, you'll get Exxon to come in there and in two months, you ever see these guys, how good they are, the great oil companies? They’ll rebuild that sucker, brand new — it'll be beautiful."

Pay attention to that last part. He mentions multinational corporations taking advantage of the military industrial complex, by capitalizing on post-war areas. This is something that is already being done under both the Democratic/Republican presidencies. It's called the corporatocracy, and there is a book by John Perkins about this (I highly recommend you check out "The Confessions of an Economic Hitman"). So, what exactly is it that's so chilling or terrifying about Trump's message, when we are already doing that? We saw how Obama lets a wedding in Yemen get bombed, then proceeds to authorize bombing Doctors Without Borders, do they really expect us to think that, just because they have a (D) next to their name, that they will care?

2) (On immigration) "I will build a great great wall around our Southern border, and I will have Mexico pay for that wall"

To start, I would like to say that Obama has deported more people than any other President. Great, now that we have that cleared up, I'll also add that Obama has made plans to build a wall in Jordan, spent $75 million "securing the border" (read: More walls) of which $15 million was spent by the Mexican government (Trump isn't getting his material out of nowhere). Also see, plans to raise the White House wall by 5 feet

So we can see clearly, it does not matter who is elected, left wing or right wing, they are both part of the same head.
78  Other / Politics & Society / 18 year old black student awarded $1 by Jury for warrantless raid on: August 30, 2016, 09:17:46 PM
An Indiana Jury has decided to award an 18 year old black high school student $1 in damages, after he was unlawfully arrested, choked, handcuffed, and beat in a mistaken identity case after police officers entered his home without a warrant.

In 2012, Indiana police entered the boy's home without a warrant, shaking him awake and punching him six times, before tasering him and placing him in the backseat of a police car. Handcuffed, Deshawn Franklin demanded to know what he had done wrong. The police officers responded by telling him he had fit the physical description of someone they were looking for. Specifically, the description was "Dreadlocks". Despite being a popular choice of hair among black youth in America, he was taken into custody.

The police later realized their error, and promptly released him from the vehicle. The jury agreed that a Fourth Amendment violation had occurred, and decided to award him $1 USD in damages (0.0017 BTC).

In addition, the city insists that the Franklin family pay $1,500 in legal expenses.

The police department investigated themselves and cleared themselves of any wrongdoing.

79  Other / Politics & Society / Huffington Post deletes articles questioning Hillary's health, fires writers on: August 30, 2016, 07:23:04 PM
SUNDAY, August 28, 2016

The notoriously pro-Clinton propaganda outlet Huffington Post fired a writer on Sunday, August 28, 2016 after deleting two of his articles that were questioning Hillary Clinton's health.

This move came in just a few days after another writer had his termination for the same reason.

David Seaman, former writer, had published an article titled “Hillary Clinton’s Health is Superb (Aside From Seizures, Lesions, Adrenaline Pens).”. The article was going viral, trending in third place in just a few hours before an abrupt deletion without notice.

The two writers voiced their complaints on social media, through the Twitter platform.

David Seaman writes:

"Screenshot- both of my posts on @HuffingtonPost deleted, without reason or notice. Both mentioned #HillarysHealth"
(Source: https://twitter.com/d_seaman/status/770121591434932224?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)

He further wrote:

"I can confirm my @HuffingtonPost account is done. IS THIS CHINA? DO PEOPLE NOT HAVE FIRST AMENDMENT PROTECTIONS?"

You may view the original article that was deleted via Google webcache by clicking here

Personal comments: Well, sorry to hear about your loss buddy, but you can join me on being a MSM reject turned social media activist!  Welcome to the clan Grin

Also, the writer seems to be a "YouTuber, researcher, and cryptocurrency enthusiast". Heh, me too.

You can see many posts of it, just use Google, there are many threads about it on Bitcointalk even to this day

So, why does the user's trust rating show:
