Hello,
I guess this is not the correct section but I see no other place to ask for price of a physical coin.
First I do not own this coin but I got offer to buy it so I'm not sure what is a reasonable price to buy it.
As you can see I'm newbie in collecting physical coins and I need your help.

242  Other / Meta / How to delete a poll? on: June 15, 2018, 01:04:40 PM
By mistake I created a poll on a wrong thread, I saw it just after I click "save".
Is there a way to remove the poll from the wrong thread.
I found some old posts like this but no help there .. and I don't like necrobumping Wink

243  Other / Off-topic / [LIST]Ignore list database, add yours if you want. Experimental thread. on: June 10, 2018, 10:36:29 PM
I'm wondering if this thread is for Meta or Reputation, please suggest the appropriate place.

The time has come for me to start building my own ignore list, but I thought I might use someone else's list, why not.
Building it from scratch is quite time consuming, and now I'm on vacation and in a lazy mood.

So I came with the idea that we can share our own ignore lists in one place like the SMAS list / I know this thing is quite personal and individual but can be useful for someone like me/

Here also arises the question will you share your list, because it's kind of private thing /for some people/.

If you people like the idea I can try to sort them in different categories like : spammers, scammers, trolls, etc.

I searched the forum for similar threads, but I couldn't find any ignore lists database

Thanks to marlboroza for the list, planning to extend it soon
The DarkList™

The ones I've found but are outdated:
guitarplinker's Public Ignore List
gadman2's ignore list
Ignore list swap

Added Poll by mistake, does anyone knows how to remove it?
244  Other / Meta / [Updated].UserLog request,same as ModLog but for user activity+more ideas. on: May 31, 2018, 07:49:58 AM
After the new 24 hours rule for deleting posts some of my suggestions are now outdated but the others are still applicable and useful from my point of view. I have updated the list with the required changes. Please let me know what you think.

In the fight with the bots we need more data and some tools too Smiley
The bumping bots are really annoying. I was trying to report something from the Patrol page but the post was already deleted, and the user has 0 posts to report, so I have to write a PM to the Mods of fill lists with proof. This happens almost all the time in the Patrol page.  Outdated now.
Here are some suggestions I have, hope you guys will support me or at least discuss the matter to find appropriate solution.

    • As I said in the Subject - UserLog- where all deleted posts are listed with a timestamp / can be access-controlled same as the Report History/ fixed

    • Report to Mod button directly from the Profile page- When they have 0 posts you cannot report them, you have to write a list with abusers or send a PM to the mods. Outdated now.

    • Report to Mod button from the Profile post history - sometimes people have more than 1 post to report in the history.  NEW
    • Report to Mod button in the search results of the search engine
This is important for me while reporting homographs and posts in other languages in the English sections.  Updated
    • If the UserLog is too much work to do, then maybe a data dump with all deleted posts within 5 min after posting Outdated now.
    • Patrol page option to be toggled automatically ON when users reach Member rank. More people should be involved in reporting, we are not enough to fight all the bots alone.
    • Maybe add chaptcha when deleting posts Outdated now.
    [/list]

    Outdated after the fix.
Edited : the first, the third and  the last point can be restricted up to the Jr.Members only because the problem lies there.

If you have no idea what BOT ACTIVITY is, see below...

Here is an example of what BOT ACTIVITY is >

Go to this ANN page https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4329385.80
Open the last comment and refresh every 3 second...
    Just watch the activity...

    The solution is here :
I think how I'd prefer to handle it is to prevent deleting posts within 24 hours of posting them, in the problematic sections only. Which sections are problematic?

OK, the 24-hour limit is now in place in the sections that people mentioned.

245  Other / Meta / Almost automated managing of +60 social bounties at the same time? Tagging? on: May 28, 2018, 06:19:38 AM
Have you ever wondered how people do this, well here is your answer.
What I found in the B&H section today is a bit crazy.
A complete guide of how to manage 60+ bounties at the same time. The smart guy made it almost automated.
For me this is kind of cheating the managers by creating a list with generated texts, on the other hand no rules are broken.
So I have a mixed feelings what do you guys think?

    Here's the guy:

My hearty greetings to all crypto enthusiasts!

While I am trying to make a source where you could track all new bounty campaigns from the bounty BCT thread, I've decided to share with you my way of bounty.
Today I'm participating in 60+ social campaigns and spend approximately 2 hours per day.

    ...

    1. List of all campaigns including all projects I've joined + all needed links + weekly tasks and everyday tasks for each project;
    2. Text generator is the excel file with project names, all hashtags for each project and 200+ texts;
    3. Report maker - the parser for your social accounts. Fill in your facebook and twitter accounts and it will find all your tweets/retweets (posts/reposts) during the exact period and form a report with all information you need.

    All you need is:
    1. All excel files described above: >link removed<
    2. Latest versions of Windows Framework and PowerQuery (PowerQuery must be newer than 2.5)
    3. A little patience to figure out how it works together Wink

    248  Other / Meta / [Guide]How to detect rule-breakers.Techniques and tips. on: May 15, 2018, 01:40:46 PM
    How to spot Rule-Breakers Guide.
Intro : I think it's time for such guide. "Report to moderator" is an option which everyone should use on a daily basis so we can all together reduce the spam and the bot activity in the forum. It will be useful for the newbies too to know what they have to avoid doing in order to stay out of trouble.

I'm not the most skilled and efficient "reporter" that's why I need your help here so I can improve too and everyone can benefit out of it. Hope we can get some Mods on board too.
No more bull#, lets start the serious work.

    How to detect rule breakers.

Note > All your conclusions have to be based on the RULES, except for the last point. What to write in your reports you can find in the  [Guide] Reporting effectively written by Welsh, its a MUST READ FOR EVERYONE.

    Detecting one-line spammers

    • Simple Techniques :

      • Using Patrol link - this is one of the best tools you can find, gives you view of the last newbie posts from the whole forum. Here is a link to it > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=recent;patrol It is easy to have it listed above your "Watchlist". Just go to your profile page, click on the "Forum Profile Information" and put a tick on "Show patrol link:".You can customize it to show posts only from a specific board you choose, see the tips in the next post. Btw there you will find another useful option not enabled by default "Show post count by posts:" which I recommend to enable.  Searching through the patrol every now and then is easy to spot one line spammers, most of the time it leads you to our next point.
You can customize your patrol to show posts only from a specific board, see examples in the next post
      • Browsing trough Ann threads - this is really easy, you go to the ANN SECTION you open one ANN page and you check for spam comments. How you determine if a comment is spam I will list in examples sometime soon, for now you can see the next point as reference. When you report you get an accuracy rating.
    • Advanced Techniques :

      • Using the search engine for specific phrases like "good project", "good projekt", "nice project", etc. when you spend some time browsing through the ANN threads you will see a pattern in the spam posts, using all the time the same words and phrases. Those phrases you can use as a keywords in the search engine.
Detecting posts in other languages outside of the Local section

    • This is usually done when you search for homograph cheaters, in the search results often comes multiple messages in Russian or other languages. It is important to exclude the Local sections from the search.

    Detecting copy/pasting, plagiarism

    • This is a bit more difficult, if you have the feeling that the guy has copied part of or all in his post then you can easily check the text in google, sometimes you get a 100% copy/paster sometimes, some words a changed but it's still a plagiarism. There should be a source mentioned in the post or the text should be quoted.

    Detecting homograph attacks

    • Replacing some letters with the corresponding Cyrillic (or other alphabet) as they are lookalike, know also as homographs is not so difficult to detect as the forum search engine has the feature to search based on a single character. Great, what you do is to enter for example this >
Here is the result with one simple word "the", where "e" is Cyrillic, but you can see it. Try searching for it in the whole forum I you are lucky you may get a result like this

Resources > Cyrillic alphabet, just copy the letters not the codes. http://sites.psu.edu/symbolcodes/languages/europe/cyrillic/cyrillicchart/
Checking for homographs, copy the suspicious text here : https://www.textmagic.com/free-tools/unicode-detector

    Detecting ICO pumping/bumping services
    • Those services are trying to keep specific ANN thread on the first page by posting in different forms every single day. I have reported quite some of those rule-breakers but most of the time those a bot accounts. There are different patterns to look for, most of the time are some "conversations" between different users quoting each other but posting only once per day. Usually those are accounts with 30-40 posts and it's really easy to be spotted by checking the post history. They have posts in the same thread every day, sometimes they are pumping more then 2-3 ICO simultaneously.
    *See an video example 1

Detecting activity which is not against the rules but is punishable by DT tagging.
    • Reporting account selling Since it's not handled by the mod's and selling accounts it is not against the rules, no need to user "Report to mods" button for it. Buying an account has high risk of getting yourself scammed, also a lot of scammers trying to hide their identity behind an established account with positive trust score. So such (potential) trades are handled by the DTs. Reporting is done here... link
    • Reporting Merit abuse As merit system came, almost everyone is hunting for it. So came the abusers too. If you do not understand the system yet check this link It is not moderated by the forum staff, and again the TD's are taking care of shady merit behavior, like exchange of merit between accounts, meriting low quality posts, trading merit. etc. Reporting is done here Suspected users that are abusing merit 3.0 using a special format
*Report form see in Examples 2
    • Reporting Alt accounts Having an Alt accounts is not against the rules as well, but you have to make it public, like leave a comment in your trust page that you own the accounts, and they are all related. There are specific rules in the most bounty/sig campaigns that you cannot joint with multiple accounts, only one account allowed so if those rules are broken you can report or there is a connection between accounts and its not officially announced you can report it here. Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III (2018 Q3)
*Report form see in Examples 3

    Additional Resources and tips
Many examples for the above mentioned descriptions can be found in my List of Rule-Breakers. You can use it as a reference until I finish the guide.
    • ModLog. Moderation Activity log
    • SecLog Users change passwords activity log
    • Report History. History of your reports. Note> not everyone has access only those with 300 or more good reports.

This guide is under construction. I just posted in the raw format so I can edit it from everywhere I login Smiley
    Hope it will be helpful.

    249  Other / Meta / reCaptcha /or similar service/ for newbies and jr.membrs, to prevent bots. on: May 13, 2018, 10:45:21 PM
After the last bot activities see the whole thread for reference
I think it's time for a small optimization.
As I suggested in the subject I would like to propose the following change:

To add captcha or similar service for posting for Brand New, Newbie and Jr. Member ranks.
No need to explain what are the advantages, it is one solution to the problem with the bots.

Let me know what you think.

251  Other / Meta / VOTE PLEASE > [Request]Use of Homographs to be forbidden. on: April 25, 2018, 08:02:13 AM
While we are waiting for a reaction from theymos / see his comment below/ I suggest to add this to the rules.
I still think that using of homographs have to be forbidden and added to the rules.
By doing so, we will not waste time in searching for plagiarism. On the other hand using homographs has no positive advantages in the forum, the only reason someone will use it is to cover something, it cannot be done by mistake, it takes quite an effort and it is done on purpose.
So the best and easy thing is to be forbidden.

    • If you have more than 2 one or more * changed characters with homographs in your post, it should be deleted.
    • If you have more than 2 posts breaking this rule you should be banned for a week.
    • For more than 2 post the user should be permaban/nuke.
~sniped some examples from the last few days~

    * some of the spammer now use only one character changed. See the last post of this thread.

theymos' comment on the subject, I have provided already such table but still no reaction.
Does someone have a table of these characters? I can automatically convert non-standard characters to ASCII.

The OP was edited together with the subject. The original OP is below this line.

    Here is what I found.
What they do is replacing some letters with the corresponding Cyrillic as they are lookalike, know also as homographs.
This kind of activity is a bit weird for me, I couldn't find any similar comment with the same text, tho.

I checked the letter "a" so all marked with yellow are in Cyrillic.

Thе ICOs mаrkеt еxpеriеncеd а mаssivе bооm in 2017. Pricеs hаvе rеcеntly bееn in dеclinе but tоdаy thеy аrе stаrting tо grоw, sо nоw is а gооd timе tо invеst but thе mаin thing is tо find а gооd prоjеct. Smiley Smiley

Here are more examples with the same approach. So shall I report such activity?

I think not. This is а centralized currency. It can not be interesting for investment. At any time, developers or owners of the bulk of coins can freeze trаnsactions or the entire market. This is dangerous. I think this is not а good idea.

I think it is sаfer to buy bitcoin than Ethereum at this stage. Crypto would survive without Bitcoin but well missing Ethereum would be а bigger setback. I do not see the blockchаin space without Ethereum any time soon.

Ethereum is а coin used by many investors, as it was created for this purpose. Ethereum hаs а good project, the price is very high, but it is still a good coin thаt will grow in the future.

I thought that they cover the copy/paste postings but you have to research every single case.

There are many more like those, this is just a brief example.

I think this kind of unnecessary activity should be considered as a rule-braking and be punishable.
    What you think?
252  Other / Meta / Any restrictions for this kind of attitude? on: April 23, 2018, 12:13:05 PM
coinpediaJordan is posting his publications all over the forum. It's a kind of advertising his news site and generating traffic, which maybe is OK but scattering posts around in every possible board I think is a bit too much.
This should be allowed only in the News Section.

I love the idea to fMerit shitpostiers as we are meriting the quality posts now.
This is better than trust and very useful, and the name is just perfect for this purpose.
If a comment includes "sir", or it's just "great project", "good project" post etc. should be fMerited automatically.

Now we can have a tool to measure the shitposters too.

The new new system broke my life.
    see here

I'm so disappointed with the new system. I thought that in a few years I can go up to Legendary, but now with the new new rules it will take at least a decade.

It is pointless to register new accounts anymore because to join any campaign you'll need Karma and it is impossible to get some.

This forum is doomed. Bitcoin is doomed. I rage-quit.

259  Other / Meta / Projects using "ANN thread bumping services" and how to stop them? on: March 21, 2018, 09:36:51 AM
Reporting the ICO bumper accounts is not so efficient, since the procedure of creating new accounts is so easy and many bots are doing it already.
There where I come from we have a saying - To deal with the beast you have to chop his head off.
So to deal with all those accounts we have to go a little bit higher, we have to deal with the purchaser of the service. If there are more strict rules for those scammers (for me using such service means that you are doing some monkey business).
So instead of wasting time and energy let me know what to do to be more efficient?

    Maybe little off topic but.
What about the projects and ANN threads that are actually paying for this service, we have to report them too?
For example on this page all the comments are from ICO bumpers.
    https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2720181.3500
20 accounts on this page only.
Checking some of the accounts I see also another projects that are using this service.

Here are 17 accounts bumping the following ANNs:
[ANN] [ICO] SCRINIUM🔥 The future of portfolio investment
🚀[ANN] [ICO & BOUNTY] Edgecoin Education Revolution
[ANN] FLUENCE.AI – A Decentralized Database Network for Decentralized Internet
    ID                                                                                       Name

I can probably list many more ANNs and couple of hundred accounts doing this. What will be the consequences then?
260  Other / Meta / Cool down time for reporting posts to be reduced. on: March 18, 2018, 09:46:19 AM
    Hello guys and girls,

I have following suggestion> The waiting time between reporting posts to be slightly reduced.
Maybe can be based on Merit instead of Rank.
Now a member has to wait 11 seconds between reporting two posts.

And if I want to report something like this, I have to waste half a minute >
