I expect two outcomes
The outcome would to the feasibility is  :

1. Done the source code has been updated to include a hard coded transaction request to the API that can be signed and broadcasted
2. Source code not updated but with a detailed description why this function can't be used out of the box and why.

Second output

Is a rough estimate about half a page on what would it take to implement counterparty API to breadwallet source code. This mean allowing people to view and send not only bitcoin but other asset counterparty.

Depending on the feasibility we might we could start a bigger the full project.

How To Play

Your ranking depends on your Elo points. The amount of Elo points you earn in one game is decided by the difference of your opponent’s ranking and yours.
You compete against all other players in the Bitcoin community and here on BitcoinTalk. The challenge will last 1 month (until 30th April 2015).

Companies are directly in touch with their customers. Instant communication allows a brand to continuously be in contact with their customer. The Internet broke many boundaries of communication. With the internet, projects like Kickstarter have emerged where creators can communicate their ideas directly to potential customers. Blockchain technology allows creators not only to share real-time information with the market but also assets and ownership. We are moving in a world where products are designed by the market and benefit the market as well. We cut the traditional investor middle man.
 
I feel Bitcoin technology is so disruptive and beautiful that it needs to reach everyone’s hands. But I also believe the technology has to be simple and transparent to the end user. For it to reach the mainstream user, its story has to be told in simple words. This is the reason we designed our next game with beautiful illustrations that are an allegory of bitcoin and blockchain.

With the creation of my company EverdreamSoft, I gathered a talented team who share these same values. We created Moonga, a trading card game and our first game. Since its beginning in 2009 when the game was launched on the iPhone we felt strongly that the cards our players purchase has to truly belong to them. We have strived to bring the real trading card game experience to mobile. Moonga players are free to trade game items amongst each other. We’ve sold/distributed more than 4.5 million cards to this day. Some of our players are trading cards for real money (with amounts over $1000 for a card) even if it’s forbidden by our terms of service.


Many games like Hearthstone do not allow trades among players to ensure that each player buys cards only from Blizzard and not from each other. We believe if someone buys something, he has full ownership of it. These trivial liberties naturally lead us to explore blockchain technology.

A Game For The Community Our motivation in developing SoG stems from our desire to create a game in strong cooperation with the community. With Moonga, our main trading card game, we were among the first to have a free-to-play game on the AppStore in 2009. Since then, the genre has evolved in unexpected ways. We saw some of our players trading rare cards for more than 1000 USD, even if it was not allowed by the terms of service. A whole economy emerged in the game. BitCrystals BitCrystals are Counterparty assets acting as both the game-fuel and the premium in-game currency. There is a limited supply of BitCrystals which can be used (burned) to create new card packs or traded with other players in Spells of Genesis. Token System You will be able to trade cards and game items easily within and outside the SoG game app. This is made possible through Counterparty, a platform which can be used for creating custom tokens which act as their own cryptocurrency, while still running on the Bitcoin blockchain. Game assets in SoG will all be assigned a unique Counterparty token. The picture below shows an example of how the Counterparty tokens for cards may look like in the typical Counterparty wallet. Assigning Counterparty tokens to game assets allows them to be traded freely outside the game. Players will own their game items and cards not only in the game world but also on the blockchain. Game Items on Counterwallet The use of Counterparty's functions such as the lock feature opens up the possibility for players to lock a certain amount of rare cards in a public and transparent manner. How It Works SoG is being developed by EDS. The production costs of SoG will be funded by Gutenberg, the project code name for our platform which burns BitCrystals in order to issue new digital game items to players and backers. The Game

Spells of Genesis will combine the collection and social aspects of Trading Card games with the addictiveness of Arcade games. In the game you embark on an epic fantasy adventure in the world of Moonga while constantly collecting and trading orbs(cards) to upgrade your deck. On your adventure, you will face hundreds of opponents. To defeat them, you have to battle them using the unique battle system featured in Spells of Genesis. The following screenshots are from the alpha version, the background is missing and visuals are not final, but will illustrate how you will have to battle your enemies. In each level, there are some enemies you have to destroy. You do that by shooting your own orbs at them. Each orb has different strengths, weaknesses and special abilities. When your orb has zero speed left, it will grow until it reaches an obstacle. Placing your orbs strategically is crucial to achieve victory, because if you cross the red line, you will lose. Beside from what the screenshots above show you, the game will take place in a fantasy world. You will travel through mountains, deserts, waters and will meet the most amazing creatures there. There will also be a Player versus Player and other social features. As the game is very easy to learn instead of traditional trading card games, we try to reach a wide audience of casual gamers. But, the deck making and skill which is required in the later levels and online will make the game very interesting for hardcore and competitive players. The Grand Story of Moonga For over 700 years, the different kingdoms in the world of Moonga lived under the dominance of the terrible empire of Sayosia. Then, in a small town, a boy named Kallan was born. His father, a blacksmith, had no place for him so he decided to take him elsewhere. After it seemed that nobody wanted the clumsy child, he decided to bring him to a small forest where the Wizard of the Four Valleys was known to live. Raised by the Wizard, Kallan learned to understand nature and the world around him. When the time came for him to leave the Wizard, he went to a city called Cartaam, where he made a discovery that would change the world of Moonga forever. He found a way to confine the essence of creatures and humans into small parchment pieces. These small cards – commonly known as Spells - enclosed the essence of what had been imprinted in them. It was a difficult, meticulous task and it took Kallan several years to master the right formula. With these powerful spells, the people of Moonga were able to defy their   rulers, and a new age began… The Jewel Valley The new chapter that we are introducing with Spells of Genesis is an allegory of the cryptocurrency. Askian is a place in the Moonga realm surrounded by high mountains inhabited by humans, dwarves and dragons. People living in Askian are rich as the mountains contain a lot of precious materials. Ideopass is at the same time a payment card (like a credit card), an online payment system (like PayPal) and a social network (like Facebook).

Goals

Create a product which adds a layer of abstraction to bitcoin or cryptocurrency payment.
Make the payment process easy, fun and rewarding for the users.
The bitcoin will work under the hood and to have a user experience centric approach of the product.
The project is an open project where anyone can contribute, crowd funded by a cryptocurrency emission system.

The product: Card

Ideopass is a standard credit card size payment card with an NFC chip inside and a QR code to be scanned by non-NFC devices (iPhones). Note that the QRcode will replace the NFC interactions.
Each card is related to a user account. When a user receives his first card he will download Ideo application, create an account with a strong password and link the card by scanning it. Then whenever the user scans the pass, the ideo application will automatically open and display the user’s account balance. Like Paypal, the account will show the balance in the currency he is comfortable with – e.g. USD in the US and CAD in Canada. As you can see, there is no mention of bitcoin here.

If you scan someone else’s card that person will be added to your contact list. Then you will be able to send any amount of money in any currency (just like paypal). If you buy something from a merchant implementing ideo API, the payment is made fun and easier than ever. The website will present a button "pay with ideo". When you click on it your phone will magically wake up (with a push notification) and if you touch your card with the phone the payment is made instantly. As you can see here, the online payment feels natural and painless while you don't link anything with your bank account credit card or what so ever. Many people are afraid of making online payments because it's linked with their credit cards.
Any merchant has the choice to accept ideo card. The only device they need is an NFC-compatible device (phone or tablet) and an internet connection. Unlike Paypal and any other payment system, transaction fees are free. The user give his Ideopass to the merchant and the merchant debits the card and the confirmation is sent to user's phone.

So what is the business model ? How do we make something sustainable with 0% or negligible fees ?

After each payment to a merchant, the user has the choice to pay anonymously or get points. If the user wants points, he agrees to allow the merchant access to demographic data. In counterpart, the merchant can easily set up promotion in ideopass back office. For example, if someone buys 10 coffee, they get 1 free. If they spend 200 USD, they get a free gift. The user will be able earn several badges and experience gamification aspects.
The user will be able to "follow" their favorite merchants like in a social network to see how many points he has with the merchant and get special offers. While accepting the payment is completely free for the merchant he will need a premium account to have access to market data reporting and some special features.

And what is the link with cryptocurrencies?

As you can see we are not talking about bitcoin. Bitcoin needs an abstraction to be used by the mass market. But as you've maybe already understood, the system doesn't use the blockchain for transactions inside the ideo network. In order to put money in your account, you have to use bitcoin and if you want to withdraw your money in cash or anything else, you will use bitcoin system.
But let’s say as a user, you don't understand anything about bitcoin. How do you put money in your account? Bitcoin works under the hood so you could ask any marchant confortable with bitcoin to recharge your card. You will give the cash to the merchant or tech geek and he will buy bitcoin for you and send it to your ideo account. For the user the operation is transparent he didn't ask for bitcoin or whats so ever - he just asked for a refill of his account.
With the money the merchant receives he doesn't have to go to an ideo branch, he can use any of the bitcoin buyers.

Crowdfunding

The ideo project is a project by the people for the people - anyone can be a part of the success and benefit from the success. For the project, we are going to create ideocoins. People that are working on the project and people financing the project will receive coins. The board of ideo will vote for the CEO and important decision the board is constituted of people with the most ideocoins. This means that if the initial team decides to dump all their coins to cash out. The project will be transferred to the other investors. This way the project cannot die until there is at least one person believing in it.

When the project is released, the premium membership will cost a certain amount of USD per month. For example, 100 USD a month. But the premium membership has to be paid in ideocoins and the number of ideocoins required is the market value for 100 USD. This higher the demand for the service, the higher the value will be for each ideocoin.

The development and the financing will follow these steps:

1. Phase One : Under The Radar

This is the phase we are in. In this phase, the initial team is working on the business plan, the logo, marketing material etc. The goal is to convert an idea in a solid project and give it credibility. This phase is the more rewarding phase for an hour of work or a dollar invested. It's also the hardest phase where we need to motivate people to work on a project while receiving "fictive" money.

I've now united a good team of technicians, marketers, influential people, flagship merchants etc.

People investing time or money during the founder phase will share 20% of total coins created during the crowdfunding phase. Each founder will receive a proportion according to their investment in cash or time.

2. Phase Two: Angel Phase

This phase will start just after the business plan, the website and the marketing plan are released. The project will look much serious with a professional financial plan and look and feel. Then we are going to raise money from angel investors and we will go to find cryptocurrency angels with the proposal. They will bring their credibility and expertise to the project. In counterpart, they will receive ideocoins with a preferential price. The Angel phase offers coins for sale for anyone - we do it on a one-to-one discussion.

3. Phase Three : Public Offer

We sell ideocoins to everyone sending bitcoin to a specific address.

4. Phase Four : Development

We will use the money raised to develop the product for about a year. About 3 months after the public phase we are going to sell open free trade market between currencies and ideopasscoin.
After a year of development the product will be ready. During this phase, the project will raise money from VC in order to hit the international market hard.

I'm thinking of creating an altcoin in order to crowdfund a project

The idea is not to create yet another another altcoin but using these coin as a payment medium for my service.  Lets call it yodarkCoin. When you use the service you automatically convert your bitcoin or currency in yodarkCoin. This way the more people are using the service the highest will be the demand for yodarkCoin. So the highest will be the price for yodarkCoin
The project is going to be open to everyone to contribute each hour of contribution is rewarded with a determined number of yodarkCoin.
The more time you invest on working on the project to more coin you make. Otherwise you can also buy directely yodarkCoin. The money will be used to pay the charges with fully transparent reports.

Then when the service is up and running the more people will use the service the highest will be the price. This way people who contributed to the project will be rewarded accordingly.

My questions is the following :
What do you recommend in term of premine ? 30% premined ? 100% ? What happen if there is no miners?  What is the best way to valorise the contributions ?
