It's a basic question I got in my mind recently. It may sound silly as I have been in Bitcoin for a few years now LOL. I had a TX accelerated through viabtc (example, not true; not my TX actually). The TX was created 10 days ago. Due to competition, I couldn't get a free slot in viabtc free accelerator. But recently, I was able to submit in their accelerator. Unfortunately, the TX wasn't included in the block viabtc mined. Well, I guess the transaction was dropped from the mempool as it says local on the Electrum wallet. What do I need to do? I guess "rebroadcast" the TX. I believe I'm correct, ain't I? Instead of rebroadcasting the TX from the Electrum wallet, is it the same if I do it through any website? For instance- https://blockchair.com/broadcastIf I put the TX ID there and broadcast, am I fine? Do I have to do anything else?

I just noticed this when I tried to check out deleted posts. Don't know why the posts have been deleted including the thread itself. It was my surprise to see admin used archived post from ninjastic.space; what was the deal LOL.

Recently, there has been discussion on what will happen to the leftover fund?
1. We all know whirlwind.money has left no path for a comeback. They aren't active for a long time now. But what they have left; $40k DAI in escrow with minerjones. MJ has already distributed more than half of the funds and is still holding ~$17k. What's going to happen to this? Who will be the owner of this fund if whirlwind never comes back?
2. ChipMixer has been seized and DarkStar_ said all the outstanding payment will be sent. Has he sent the outstanding payment? I can't see any update on the thread. Nevertheless, there was ~1.30 Bitcoin on the ChipMixer signature campaign escrow address which has been later sent to another address. Who has received the fund?
What will happen to the leftover fund? Why do we really bother what will happen with the fund?
In case of whirlwind, imagine that whirlwind has come back and processed all the withdrawals & asked minerjones to send their fund from escrow back. What if some of the members don't send the fund back? Will some of you compensate minerjones? I guess no. Then why we really should think the fate of the leftover fund? Let escrow decide what will happen.
In case of ChipMixer, DarkStar_ announced of sending the outstanding & he should do that since he was in control of the fund in escrow. After that he has the right to do anything with the leftover fund. We don't have right to decide, do we?
The purpose of this thread isn't to put some sauce on the issue. The issue has been in discussion randomly in ChipMixer ANN thread, in a thread in Meta. That's why I thought of creating a new thread so that users can discuss here instead of being off topic in other discussion.

I'm looking for a website which shows transactions count for every block. In the block explorer like blockchair or others, we can see the transaction count for each block. I have to check individual block to get this data. That's huge time consuming when I would like to see data, for instant, all the blocks from the last few weeks. Is there a site which can get me organized transactions count for bitcoin blocks?

We (staff) were asked to stop advertising mixing services.
As for gambling services, then that's simply because of my religious beliefs.
theymos asked this for obvious reasons. What I'm curious about is whether any law enforcement was there behind the decision. Nevertheless, staff were asked to stop advertising mixing services. We are promoting mixing services. Will it be an issue for bitcointalk forum in general? What about the people advertising the mixer? Would it be better to quit advertising mixer services? I was thinking about this ever since I have seen OmegaStarScream's quoted post. Is it time to think about this?

Parlay is very much as we all know that anything can happen in a bad day. I have lost a parlay because of losing one single match which had an odd of 1.4 I guess. Well, the maximum odd I won from Parlay was around 7 including 4 soccer matches. What's your maximum parlay win (don't share the amount). Share only the odds you got and total matches you have included in your bet.

There are a lot of casino licenses we can see though personally I don't have a lot of ideas about which one is for what purpose and how they help the gamblers in reality. Nevertheless, I guess, in most of the crypto casinos, curacao is a common license we can see though I barely have ever checked out whether they are licensed or not LOL. What does a curacao license do in reality & how it can benefit us as a gambler? What are the other common licenses & how they can help the gambler when a gambler faces issues with the casino; especially when the gambler gets robbed/scammed by the casino? It's something I guess we all should be aware of; I believe most of us don't know at all.

I was checking an article on hardware wallets and got the link to ballet wallet. I was expecting a hardware wallet there but it's cold storage. However, I'm a bit confused. It seems like a paper wallet. If it's cold storage like a paper wallet; how the security of the private key is ensured? The company itself won't manipulate but is there a chance that they can manipulate; do they have access to the private key? If not, how do they generate the private key? It all looks like a card; the private key (passphrase written) is covered as a scratch card. How is it a secure one?

I knew it from long ago but today realized that ignore option doesn't serve its purpose. If we put someone on our ignore list, his/her post isn't visible. But when someone else quote the ignored user, it gets visible which I guess doesn't make any sense. Why don't we have the option to ignore someone permanently in such a way that we don't see their post without removing them from our ignore list?

If you have a look at the scam accusation section, you will find that no casino has a good reputation there. Each and every casino which has their ANN thread here, has at least one complaint against them; sometimes confiscated funds, delayed withdrawal, not paying the winning, freezing account etc. Why this is the principal of all the casinos? Why they can't operate without having any issues? They always do this shit; who knows what has been done with people who don't know how to deal with such a casino. Can you show me a thread that never had any reputation issues on this forum?

In martingale, a gambler increases the bet size to double in the hope to recover the loss from the previous bet. I have tried it a few times & to be honest with you, I have never had a good return on my bets; I have lost most of the time. On the other hand, the Anti martingale strategy is- to double the bet size when you are winning & halving the bet size when you are losing. In such a condition, when you are winning; you are doubling the size & you will lose from your winning. WEell, this strategy is more risky I guess though some have told it as less risky than martingale. Have you ever tried ti? What's your opinion? Which one is more risky; Martingale or Anti Martingale?

Self explanatory title. As it says, what will the status of the report when two person report the same post? Assume, I have reported a post after someone else have reported. What will be my report status? Will it be unhandled for the person who reported later or it be same as the previous reporter?

I haven't used a bitcoin core wallet for a long time and whenever I have used it, have used it for some testing, and checking purposes only. I have a little free time and now I wanted to set up a bitcoin core wallet as a node on my old laptop. I have some other purposes in my mind; to test some options. Nevertheless, I was looking for an address and found out that it generates native segwit by default while I have the option to generate NON-native segwit addresses. When I tried that, I found it generates addresses starting with 3 but not the legacy addresses starting with 1. I tried to figure it out but had no luck, sadly.
How can I generate that Legacy address? Does it sound way much noob? I should have used to use Bitcoin Core.

I was surprised to see one of the threads from Royse777 has been changed as Anonymous creator. I'm more than sure the thread was created by Royse777 but now it's showing Anonymous. May I know how it was done? I believe Royse777 don't have access to change this username. Only theymos may have this rights. Why would theymos change either? Sorry Royse777, I couldn’t put you apart from this. I had to publicly posted your name here.

As far as I know, referral link isn’t allowed on the forum, is it? But before going public on a particular issue I have in my mind (I don't want to share it now as it can harm user's reputation). Do you know any such rules which have an exception for sharing referral link? I'm not talking about tracking link, BTW. People may use a tracking link to check out how there bitcointalk journey going on. But what about sharing referral link of gambling sites? I guess it's not allowed. Please share if forum has any exception for this rule.

I was planning to create a thread here on casinos which accepts lightning network payment & allow you to withdraw within seconds. But when I iried to search, I found this- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5255329.0There's a list with all gambling sites accepting lightning network. However, the list isn’t a complete one right now. Apart from that, OP has locked the thread. I will PM him to unlock the thread or ask him whether I should maintain one. Let me know if you know any gambling sites which supports lightning network. I will soon list all the sites and update with a new one.
