221  Other / Off-topic / BFL UNIT 832 DEVICES on: May 30, 2012, 01:54:11 AM
Hello on BFL site it clearly states Delivery: Units are shipped within four to six weeks from the date of purchase.
Meaning 28-42 Days.

Mine got shipped in 60 days. Does BFL offer any compensation for this?
For breaking their *are* which means *will*, isn't it breaking a promise?
I ordered 4 in total. They should either offer another BFL unit for free
for going past their date info. Which 4-6 weeks is clearly false.

It should of said it may be 4-6 or more. It just says 4-6 weeks.

I would like some compensation for mining loss times.
BFL would be nice to offer another BFL unit for free to ship as of this.

Best regards

222  Other / Off-topic / BUTTERFLY 832 UNITS on: May 29, 2012, 09:08:09 AM
Hello I have a question regarding the BFL singles. I already got mine, which mines at 832 about.
Can it be overclocked? I heard of the firm wares up to 890 something, but could someone
add cooling to these devices and overclock them further to like 1000 Mhash?
Because I like to try it out, but I wish someone would write a over clocking utility for this.
So I can just slide the bar up and down and tweak the voltage and things.

I was thinking of adding water cooling, manually opening this up, and hooking it up.
But I want to know if its possible to over clock it to 1000 or so.

Thanks for any help I get.

224  Economy / Goods / BIT FORCE 832 MHASH/80 WATTS POWER [WTT] on: May 24, 2012, 07:36:03 AM
Hello I have a bit single that yeilds 832 MHASH/80 Watts.

Looking for video cards.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / HD 7970 Clock Weird Bug on: May 24, 2012, 01:22:53 AM
Hello I have a HD 7970, if I run with Cgminer at 1175 it is stable 24/7.

But as soon as I open like 5-6 tabs in Google chrome my clock drops to 501?
And I have to close Google chrome to fix it.

Is this a power saving feature? Like detecting going into 2D mode and bugging out?
Is there a way to permanently keep the clock at 1175 and not have this happen?

Thanks fo reading

226  Economy / Goods / BIT SINGLE FORCE 40 Watts/832 MHASH on: May 22, 2012, 09:19:01 PM
The waiting time is many many months, I just got the tracking confirmation and a few days into I get mine.

To get one of these is very hard and a long wait of up to two months.
You won't find it anywhere else, not on ebay, not anywhere on this fourm,
or perhaps 1 or two others, not many is selling, there isn't many of these in the world alone
.
Take the chance, and be the one with a bit Force.
Dominate with extremely low power, less noise, less heat, and outlast for many years to come.
I have a trade to offer here. With this trade you can get in little as a few days.
A lot better then waiting for 2-3 months.

Advantages
-Only uses 80 watts for 832 MHASH.
-You get this in a few days
-Comes with 6 months of warranty.

The 3 months of waiting time alone is lots of mining time loss if you were to order on site.

Instead get it within a few days.
This device will last for many many years. Out last video cards.

Don't be afraid to offer something else,

Hello I am wondering, how does someone come a moderator on these forums or global moderator?
Lets say I wanted to help out and be a moderator? Could I just ask for it? Or do I have to do something
amazing in contribution to yield that?

As I would like to be a moderator searching for bad posts, deleting them, managing things, I could help out.
Though just curious that's all

Though something to note, moderator takes volunteer work, managing things, I am willing to volunteer,
that's the forums gain and my loss. And perhaps could use another moderator.

Though I am curious, what is the bottle neck for my system?
I know Intel is Superior to amd, the bulldozer series was a disappointment.
And I feel bad for going with amd FX 8150. Even though its worse,
And I heard my motherboard has flaws. Which Cpu + motherboard disappointment makes me go Sad

In my opinion i'd avoid it for anything but 95w processors that ARE NOT OVERCLOCKED

I have placed an order for one of these butter fly units. And I had got an email about a week ago stating that
there was some problem with the bank amount, and it ended up $30 less on there end. He said he would
respond the very next day. Its been over 1 week. And I made several follow up emails and still haven't got any response.

The below which is 8 days ago. I asked also about ordering 2 more of these units. But he said to let
me email you first. So I waited for a confirmation about this. Before I placed another.
But I never got any confirmation.

And I haven't even gotten a shipping confirmation.

Even though you sent $640 we received only $602.76 and we are researching to
see why so much was extracted from the payment. So let me email you tomorrow,
when I have heard from the bank

240  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Computer 6950 on: March 26, 2012, 08:16:25 PM
Hello, I have read that under clocking the video card to 300 memory was a factor determined by the video card bios. And flashing on some cards would be necessary.
But for the life of me I am confused at what happened. I wasn't able to under clock my ati 6950 memory to 300 memory. But the computer with two 6870s did it flawless. However I switched hard drives and
the same thing should apply. But no the ati 6870 now can't under clock to 300 memory stuck at 1050,
and the ati 6950 can now go to 300 easily.

This terribly confuses me? Maybe the cards are being tricked from the sudden switch?
Could I just clone the whole hard drive and get the same results on both?
I thought you needed to flash the video card bios?

Is there a folder where the ati drivers are located? Can I just copy the ati drivers from this computer to the other? Help clarify things for me I am confused! I am using msi after burner, all unlocked with code.
I tried 10 other programs nothing worked. I did hours of research. But I did a hard drive swap out
of curiosity and it magically worked in reverse?

Thanks
