101  Economy / Scam Accusations / bobsag3-Minersource.net-[Update] on: June 05, 2014, 10:47:46 AM
Update: I received a 0.85 BTC refund + given another 50 boards to be shipped, if 50% works, this is a good resolution. Negative trust removed, etc.

Conclusion: 40 boards hashes, 30 boards are completely dead nothing, no lights, no fan, zero, nil. Other 6 powers on, doesn't mine, doesn't get detected
by controllers, so assume these are faulty. Out of 40 hashing boards, I should expect 1.6 TH, or 40GH * 40, but in reality I get 1.3TH due to so many errors
and bad boards. I tried Pming him a while ago, about compensation but got no response, not even a word. So probably seeing no refund or anything.

*Supecting some from shipping damage, bad packaging, boards on top of boards, not enough insulation in between them.
Some bubble wrapping on the bottom, you needed to fill the entire box to the top with Foam peanuts, but there wasn't any.
This explains why a big chunk have damaged pins.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=590816.0
I recently made a purchase off this thread, and I gotten 75, but it seems some chips are melted, many are faulty.
The melted one I haven't even touched or turned on yet, came out of its package like that.

Also it seems a lot of fans are black or melted on the underside, it seems the melted stickers or black, are boards
that probably overheated, while the non black melted fans seem okay.

A lot of fans were barely working into I oiled them, and it was working again.

A big chunk of em don't even start or work to begin with. Only some works.

Also the packaging wasn't good enough, a lot of pins were bent on the underside.

This is fresh out of the box, damaged pins, or bent.
Not good packing package at all.

Burned fans.

I will remove this thread, or mark not a scam once this gets dealt with, and I get the appropriate refunds.

107  Economy / Digital goods / Casino Domain, Looking for offers ★☆★777roll.com★☆★ on: May 19, 2014, 09:53:11 PM

Hello, I have a domain called 777roll.com.

I had this for quite a while, and thought about a project for it, never started it.

777 is associated as lucky or a major casino term, and roll as in for your bets which is basically like "Lucky roll" when you read this domain. I can imagine this domain name is a good casino name.

Just seeing what offers I would get for this domain.

111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Graphic card sweet spot, KH to Watt ratio. on: April 02, 2014, 02:38:58 PM
Anyone here achieved better results on a 270X card in power efficiency to KH then what I got below?
over me? Just curious what was the lowest voltage you got stable at the most efficient clocks?

Here is what I got below with tweaks and a watt reader.

Below is for N-Factor coins.

545->348->318 Watts=227 Saved watts.
197/3=(76 Watts/Card)

270X Card, Other cards coming later to be added.

545 Watts at Core 1030 Memory 1500 Yeilds 220 KH *Voltage 1.206
348 Watts at Core 929  Memory 1400 Yeilds 198 KH *Voltage 0.925
318 Watts at Core 929  Memory 900  Yeilds 192 KH *Voltage 0.925
2.47 Watt per KH -> 1.758 Watt per KH -> 1.656 Watt per KH
1.656/2.47=0.67, 1-0.67=0.33
33% more efficient Ratio.
41.6% Less power.

Due to the lowering of profits, it seems a sweet spot is what matters now, its amazing if tweaked right
can get you much more efficient watt to KH ratio.

115  Economy / Gambling / Be Wary of Ponzis that are popping up all over the gambling section on: February 26, 2014, 12:22:11 AM
An Theoretical attack, would be a given user creating a bunch of socket puppet accounts.
And then developing those account over a few weeks.

Then start up a Ponzi, have all 10 of his accounts on proxies, send small amounts
to make it look like the Ponzi is getting a lot of attention, and looks like its paying.
Waits into some real big depositors get in, and then runs.

Just a thought.

Its just I see a bunch of Ponzies popping up, and its odd that I see a bunch of newbies
just spamming the same thread, which brings in other ppl.

Not accusing they are all scams, but I am just pointing something out.

Just be wary of Ponzi schemes!
