1  Economy / Auctions / Charity Auction #3 - 2 Klondike K16's on: July 28, 2014, 05:40:05 PM
Welcome to Auction #3!!!

The winning bid for this auction will be donated to withoutregrets.org
The person with the highest bid as of 11:59:59pm EST on Sunday August 2, 2014 will win the auction.

2x Klondike K16's with usb cables

I know they won't ROI, I know their hashing power is pretty much useless in today's age of 500+ Gh/s devices, but they're still a fun little device for somebody who is just getting introduced to Bitcoin and wants to play around with CGMiner, BFGMiner, BitMinter, etc.

Starting bid is 0.01BTC

4  Other / Beginners & Help / Charity auction = Cheap ASIC's.... on: July 13, 2014, 08:16:11 PM
How does buying a small ASIC device for dirt cheap sound? Now how about if the bitcoin you spent on that device went to a worthy charity instead of lining a manufacturers' pocket? Sounds good to me too! I have decided to auction off all of my older mining hardware and give all the money to charity, you can check it out here.

Here's a copy/paste from the first auction listing--

Quote
I finally found an S1 for a price I'm happy with so I will be turning off all of my older hardware. I was just going to put this hardware in boxes and store them away but I thought it might be a better idea to hold an auction and give the money to charity.

Here is a comprehensive list of everything I will be auctioning--

39 USB Block Erupters (35 black, 4 red, all with the original cases)
1 Blue Fury 2 Gh/s USB miner
8 BFL Jalapenos (5-6 Gh/s each with usb cables, no psu)
5 Klondike K16's (5 Gh/s each with usb cable)
2 Block Erupter Cubes

Rules
1. I will run 1 auction per week (7 days)
2. Highest bidder wins item
3. Shipping is not included
4. Item will ship within 24 hours of receiving payment
5. I agree to use escrow if you feel it's a must
6. All items are currently hashing away in good condition but I offer no warranty
7. No overclocks or mods have been performed on any item

Each auction will have a different charity which will receive the funds.

So what are you waiting for? Head over there now and get a device and the pleasure of knowing your bitcoin is helping make the world a better place.

8  Bitcoin / Mining support / [SOLVED] Just got some Gridseed 5-chips and I'm having problems... on: June 28, 2014, 02:24:56 AM
I just received 2 Gridseed 5-chip miners and I've been trying like hell for the last 3 hours to get them working without luck.
I'm using Windows 7 as my controller and I'm mining at clevermining

I ran Zadig, installed the WinUSB driver, and tried the CGMiner 3.7.2 Gridseed fork and kept getting "failed to initialize..."
I uninstalled the drivers, re-installed the devices, kept the STM32 Virtual COM port driver, and tried BFGMiner 4.0 and it didn't recognize any devices.
I tried one of the newer CPUminer forks and I never got any "YAY!" messages.

For the love of God can somebody please help me get these things running!!
9  Economy / Goods / [WTS] iPhone 5 16gb **UNLOCKED** (Price lowered) on: May 13, 2014, 12:21:07 PM
I just got a Galaxy S5 so now I'm looking to sell my iPhone 5. It's black, 16gb, comes with the charger, a black Griffin survivor case (http://griffintechnology.com/survivor/original) minus the belt clip, and the original box.

Asking $275 in BTC plus the cost of shipping.

Escrow is fine as long as it's somebody I'm comfortable with.

I will post pics this evening when I have a little more time.

14  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] AsicMiner Cube main board ~~SOLVED~~ on: March 24, 2014, 11:26:31 AM
I have a cube that keeps randomly shutting off. Sometimes it will run for 2 days, sometimes for 30 minutes. I've switched out the fan, I've tightened all the screws, I've reseated all the boards, and it runs on a Corsair TX650 so I know it's not a power issue. The only thing I can think of is maybe the main board is having an issue and I was hoping somebody would have one laying around somewhere.

Let me know what you're asking with shipping (I'm in CONUS). Thanks.

UPDATE: I tried the hack that was shared and it worked so I no longer need a main board. Thanks!

16  Bitcoin / Mining / OMG boost your mining speed!!! lmao (scam inside) on: January 01, 2014, 03:42:52 AM
So I was clicking some ads over at BTCclicks  and there was an ad at the top of the page for a website that sells a program that can boost your mining speed by 20-50%. I had a good laugh at this and wanted to share. LINK>>>> bitcoinminerbooster.com

17  Bitcoin / Mining support / Cube & PSU question on: December 30, 2013, 03:20:11 AM
I have 2 Cubes running off an Antec TPQ-1200 but I can't get either one to run past 31Gh/s.
Both cubes show all o o o o o 's and I have a box fan blowing outside air at them directly so cooling isn't an issue.

Is my psu the problem?

18  Economy / Lending / Looking for a 1btc loan... FUNDED on: December 01, 2013, 12:09:06 AM

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / jhprimeminer not working anymore, need help plz.. on: November 29, 2013, 08:15:40 PM
Win7 x64
Athlon II x2 3.10Ghz (machine #1)
AMD Athlon II x3 3.10Ghz (machine #2)
mining @ rpool.net

I had machine #1 wired to the internet and it was running jhprimeminer just fine for days.
I had machine #3 connected wirelessly to my 2nd internet connection and it was running jhprimeminer fairly decent for days.

I purchased a Linksys N600 (model # E2500) dual band wireless router and connected machines #1 and #2 to this connection. Now when I start jhprimeminer I get some boost exception error and it shuts down. I removed the wireless router and went back to my previous setup and it does the same thing. How can I fix it so I can stay connected to the wireless router and mine xpm?

Thanks in advance for any help.
20  Economy / Goods / [WTB] Keurig machine or equivalent on: November 23, 2013, 08:42:14 PM
I'm looking for a Keurig or a K-Cup compatible coffee maker.

2 simple rules....
1. It doesn't need to be a Keurig, anything compatible is perfectly fine
2. It must come with the filter basket/pod to brew your own coffee

I will not pay first so either you have the item shipped to me and I pay upon arrival or we can use escrow
If you order from Amazon, Walmart.com, etc. then I will pay the actual price plus $10 worth of btc for your time

Whoever presents the best offer will receive my business... kgo
