301  Economy / Speculation / If the world economy crashed tomorrow, what would happen to Bitcoin's price? on: April 23, 2016, 07:39:14 PM
Basically, if we had another economy crash like in 2008-2009, what would happen to the value of Bitcoin. Would it inflate or deflate?

I personally think that:
It could inflate due to it being used as a moe stable currency.
It could deflate due to it matching the rates of other currencies and it is still dependent on the FiAT value.
302  Economy / Micro Earnings / A competition idea with a 1btc prize on: April 16, 2016, 07:49:18 PM
I had an idea for using a site that has a minimum withdraw of 1BTC and earning of around 0.0001BTC per claim and wondering if I could make a referral competition from that. If people used my referral and gained 1BTC would receive a 1BTC from my 100% referral earnings if they and I are both able to withdraw from the site.

Suggestions and questions are welcomed.
303  Economy / Service Discussion / My hashnest account has been hacked but no funds/GHS were taken? on: March 28, 2016, 10:02:21 PM
I found an email that said that my hashnest account had been hacked (logged in remotely).

I am unsure why they woudn't take anything after hacking. I did only have 5GHs and 200 satoshi, but they still could've taken that.

You send first or escrow (you pay fees).
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / [WTB] 10000 DOGE for 0.005[btc] on: March 13, 2016, 07:09:42 PM
As suggested, I want to buy 10000 DOGE for 0.005BTC

Escrow is OK (if you pay fees and use one of the top 4) but I'd rather you send first.
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Block reward for 2065 is lower than what I have now, is this correct? on: March 11, 2016, 07:55:42 PM
Now, I ran a program that went through the next 100 block halvings at 5 year intervas.

At 2065 on my document, I found something strange
2065 = 0.0244140625BTC
Is this correct?

My Program - Python
Code:
b = 25
n = 2010
for loop in range(100):
print(b)
print(n)
n,b = ((n+5,b/2))
307  Economy / Gambling / I left primedice running and found a good strategy. on: March 08, 2016, 08:48:23 PM
I accidently left the primedice autobet running.

It went from 0.00000400BTC to 0.00001750BTC in 5 minutes.

My stragety.
On win = return to base bet
On lose = double bet amount
base bet = 0.00000010BTC

This was rater interesting.

309  Other / Off-topic / Free Data Recovery From a USB Flash Drive on: February 28, 2016, 07:15:21 PM
I have a flash drive that I want to recover corrupted data off.
What is the best FREE way of extracting the data?
I think it is just the file index that is corrupted and it is around 60 Gigabytes in size.
310  Other / Off-topic / How do I duplicate or clone an entire partition? on: February 18, 2016, 10:42:16 PM
I know there would be some way of doing this. I only want to use Diskpart and Cmd for cloning files.

I see information about this from Google, but it is unspecific to what I need as microsoft write protects the windows file and so I cannot do a full copy.
I don't want to run a windows backup as I have three partitions to backup and that would serve to slow me down as it creates zipped folders first (which takes a long time).
311  Other / Off-topic / Firefox Not Working? Suggestions? on: February 13, 2016, 08:43:23 PM
I started Firefox.exe process.
I then typed tasklist into CMD (command prompt) and got back that firefox was running as a console process.
I then typed it in again (a few minutes later) and got back that it was no longer there as a running process.

Does anyone know how this occurs and how to fix it (I have used systems like symantec power erasor and virus scanner so checked if it worked by uninstalling and reinstalling firefox, ,but still no luck)?

Thanks in advance for the help, it is appreciated.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / [WTS] 1 YOVI coin on: February 07, 2016, 06:58:03 PM
I want to sell my Yovi coin now (I cannot really understand the market it throws back an error oa price cap and a raise only market).

Price: 0.0011BTC

I don't really want to use escrow and will send directly from yobit wallet.
If you are a high ranking member I will send 0.5YOVI first and then you can send 0.0011 BTC and I will send te rest of the 0.5YOVI!

Any questions/offers ask below or pm.

(NOTE: a 0.002 YOVI amount will be deduced from this for transaction fees AUTOMATICALLY).
313  Other / Off-topic / Getting My First Whole Bitcoin? on: February 01, 2016, 05:44:01 PM
I have been using Bitcoin since June 2015 and still don't have a whole Bitcoin.

314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Coins that can be HDD mined? on: January 31, 2016, 12:28:57 AM
What coins can be mined using a Hard Drive.

What are the most profitable coins to mine in this way (using HDD mining will not use much more power on my laptop and (4.5 TB) hard drive (with 4TB unassigned) than I am currently using at the moment)

Do you have any suggestions of what to mine.

I would be using a SEAGATE 5TB EXPANSION HARD DRIVE (USB 2.0 but could use 3.0)
315  Economy / Service Discussion / Hashnest - Antminer S3 - I am extremely Confused! on: January 25, 2016, 07:52:18 PM

24 Hours earnings 0.00004039BTC

But, the maintenance is 110.81%.

Any suggestions?
316  Economy / Service Announcements / [For Hire] Freelance Python Programmer. on: January 08, 2016, 11:03:29 PM
Hello,

I am a freelance python programmer. I can work on most python modules and am offering a service where I can either:
 •  Write Python Programs From Scratch
 •  Edit/Personalise pre existing python programs
 •  Offer free help with errors that are in your program on this thread.

I could potentially offer 1 vouch copy, if the following statements below are met:
 •  Program must be less than 100 lines lon.
 •  You must be at least a Full Member on this forum.
 •  You must be a positive/neutral trust.
 •  I reserve the right to remove the vouch offer at any times (such as: if I already have an interested buyer)
 •  The vouch code created will be placed in code tags on this thread.

I have over four years experience with Python and can offer these skills to you for lower prices.

Main conditions
 •  We can use escrow if you pay fees and I can sen the program to the escrow service (not any money)
 •  I will decide on a time-by-time basis, if a person requires to send first, or if I can send first (you may object to sending first and using escrow).
 •  Payments made in Bitcoin and are decided beforehand.
 •  No payment will be made until program is made.
 •  Minimum charge is set at 0.001BTC
 •  If you want an API creating, you must have a link to the python api documentation and examples. (I may decide to only use examples from Github.com.

317  Other / Meta / People who don't like signature campaigns: first, STOP SPAMMING. And: Click Here on: January 05, 2016, 10:14:45 PM
I see many people complaining about signatue campaign members like me.
For (supposedly) spamming, because the user does not get what they want.

Instead, Click Here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u="Your UID";sa=theme

place your uid after the U=

ALSO: it is up to campaign managers to decide if users are spamming or not (USUALLY)! (But also, admin, staff and moderators)

Hope this helps stop the annoyance that people seem to find,

Jack G

320  Economy / Reputation / Everyone In a Signature Campaign Is a Spammer? on: December 31, 2015, 08:10:21 PM
I find this quite strange, is everyone in a signature campaign considered a scammer or a spammer?

I have negative feedback from a person that claims that I am a spammer, his reference is only ONE link though. That was also when I was new to this forum and had only been a member with it for a few weeks!

Your opinions on my trust and this matter would be very usefule.

Thank you in advance.

Jack G
