it costs just 6 billion to destroy bitcoin with a 51% attack
this is something a commited developed country easily could affort,
however the developed countries promote and support cryptocurrency as cryptocurrencies are benefiting them more than the developing countries, so there is a division in the united nations consil, which prevents state sponsored 51% attacking as being legal.
however if there is an intelligent bussinesman who lends a ton of money to create this hashpower as some form of cyberweapon of a state, this could truly exist.
and what makes it worse this cyber weapon would then be able to eat more and more as each destroyed cryptocurrency would make the attacker even richer, which he can invest to have even more hashpower

seriously the altcoin section of this forum is not useable anymore, i think altcoins are marketed there in such a speed each threat someone opens there disapears there within seconds at least in page 2-3
i doubt there is a single discussion there possible that excedes a single page.

i have long time joined the naive romantisism with the roman empire which the western media are spreading,
but they are depciting an absolutely wrong picture, the roman empire was something else than a romantic coporation of people trying to live good.
it was:
1. a pyramid system and a banking cartel similar like today
2. it was enslaving trapped humans using them as money earning cattle to supply its economic and militaristic maschinery, similar like the united states, today, but with less mental tricks and much more force
3. it mercisely protected its higher lines with slaves and slave protective legistlation
in the end the surpression of the slaves lead to the roman empire being unable to evolve and develop.
later there was a trick used through christianity that conquered the roman empire and its mlm pyramid sceme.
what do you guys think?
will we see such a brachial and brutal society again? since the current banking system is under attack from everywhere.

Many wrote that we need to regulate the global cryptomarket:
i know how to do this and i can explain it to you:
1. you need to create a registry where all cryptocurrency owners are being registered with their adress they must response with it, not just through its system but also physically, they should be findable, the adress list doesnt has to be public but the regulation authority must have them and regularily check check it.
2. you force them to show and open their data
3. you write and publish the regulation form, description and goals.
4. you create a global strike force or so called economic hitman to execute sanctions if a cryptocapitalists fails to achieve that regulation
or you create a rating agency similar like standards and poor. or a licensing system
5. you will have create an insitution that regulates cryptocurrencies.
-> all cryptocurrencies that follow that regulation are regulated, and under enforcment of that insitution.

you see its actually possible to create a regulation if you can create an institution which is the equivalent of standards and poor. but for crypto and you get a global hitman in work.
for that you need good contacts either to interpol or to a global mercenary group. like blackwater. or those secretive agents/economic hitmans
