1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Why Bitcoin seen as 'Risk On' Asset instead of Gold's 'Risk Off' Status? on: December 01, 2021, 04:00:14 PM
Everybody says Bitcoin is Gold 2.0 is the new digital gold and will replace gold, an inflation hedge like Gold. Bitcoin & Gold properties are matching except for 1 thing:

- Bitcoin seen as Risk On Asset instead of Risk Off like gold, so in times of economic uncertainty Gold price soars because its risk off and in uncertain times stock market crashes & crypto crashes.

So if Bitcoin is store of value like gold and does the same as Gold then why isn't it classed as Risk Off status like Gold?

In times of economic uncertainty where risk on markets crashing everywhere Bitcoin should be the hedge king right rising up and not be correlated to risky stocks correct?
2  Other / Beginners & Help / All Metamask settings & Networks lost on: November 30, 2021, 05:27:36 PM

I installed Metamask extension on another device in my home and did the import using secret recovery phase to login and it asked to create a new password, why new password needed and why cant I use my previous old password?

Okay I logged back in and see my settings are not synced and my metamask looks like it has gone back to default settings with all the networks that I originally added on my 1st device that I used 1st time to create the metamask wallet is all gone.

How do I sync my metamask wallets between different devices so metamask settings & networks are synced?
3  Bitcoin / Legal / Satoshi's 1 Million Bitcoins Legal Court Case Kleiman vs Craig Wright questions on: November 20, 2021, 09:44:33 PM

Understood case in court is still ongoing in Florida.

When you guys think jury will reach a verdict?

If Craig wright is found guilty and has to pay the victims that is Dave Kleiman's family then Kleiman's family is entitled to half a million 500,000 bitcoins correct? This is 50% custody of Satoshi's Bitcoins.

Where can we see this Satoshi wallet address with over 1 million bitcoins in there on the bitcoin explorer/chain?

If Craig is found guilty and soon after that we can see on the blockchain that over 1 million bitcoins amount in that wallet has decreased then that proves Craig Wright is the real Satoshi Nakamoto and has the private keys to this wallet?

Hasn't Kleiman's family lawyer who is representing them advised the Kleimans that once its proven that Craig Wright is to be the real Satoshi Nakamoto then bitcoin will crash to $0 meaning that court case that they filed and sue Craig Wright for will be for nothing because 500,000 bitcoins will be worthless so what's the point of the case?    Huh

Craig Wright is rich so if Craig Wright loses how is it settled with the Kleiman's family? 500,000 bitcoins or Craig settles it with his own cash? Does the judge decide or Kleiman's family decides how its settled?

So in conclusion the only way we find out if Craig Wright is the real Satoshi Nakamoto is if he loses the court case and the judge orders him to give Kleiman's family over 500,000 bitcoins and we can see the 1.1 Million bitcoins in Satoshi Wallet has decreased a lot in amount of bitcoins in there after the case is finished? If so BTC will crash in value & BSV Bitcoin Satoshi Vision coin will take over?

Finally why is that the early people that worked on Bitcoin such as Dave Kleiman and Hal Finney all have died coincidently  Huh

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Socials, Altcoins & Reddit & Red Flags help on: November 11, 2021, 11:43:13 PM

If a established altcoin within the top 100 ranking on coinmarketcap that still does not have social presence on reddit but on twitter then what does this indicate?

Socials on Discord and Telegram cant be taken seriously because these socials are private not public ideal for scammers correct?
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin and the Power/Energy/Electricity Grid concerns & questions on: November 03, 2021, 04:34:08 PM

In USA the country is separated in to 3-4 power grids correct?

So the currents grids are version 1.0 meaning the grid distributes constant power electricity to all areas equally regardless of the areas has high energy usage or not?

In Biden's current infrastructure bill they plan to change the grid to Smart Grid 2.0?

Can a Smart Grid detect bitcoin mining and automatically turn off electricity for the bitcoin miners if Biden's government bans bitcoin mining?

In UK there's Smart Meters that shows how much gas/electricity is being used in the home. They replace old meters. These smart meters know when you open the fridge or turn on your tv to monitor your energy usage. They have helped the police catch drug criminals growing cannabis in their homes that requires a lot of energy like bitcoin mining.

Main questions are:

- Energy prices are getting more expensive as we can all see now, so for Bitcoin mining to be profitable bitcoin prices needs to go up otherwise it becomes unprofitable and miners will leave the bitcoin network making the bitcoin network less secure and vulnerable to 51% hack attacks correct?

- A drop in hash rate makes btc mining more easy attracting new miners to join the btc network to secure the network however what if the smart grid 2.0 detects and stops new bitcoin miners joining the btc network?

- The governments around the world are pushing their agendas for to stop global warming and bringing up ESG regulations. When this time comes then how can bitcoin miners mine bitcoin off the grid?

- Energy/Power rationing is happening around the world now in many countries due to high energy rising costs where governments have to ration energy usage in their own countries to decide who gets the power. They allow essential hospitals and airports to get the electricity but what about bitcoin miners?

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Easiest Altcoin to Mine with least Electricity advice on: October 20, 2021, 11:41:56 PM

I am looking for the easiest altcoin to mine that is in the top 100 crypto market cap rankings that requires less electricity as possible.

Any suggestions?

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Best place to get Yield on Stable Coins and other questions? on: October 19, 2021, 11:16:33 PM

Stable coins such as USDC, Dai, GUSD and UST.

I'm looking for APY instead of APR cause interest does not get compounded in APR.

I prefer fixed rate over variable rate.

I prefer flexibility on my stable coins instead of locking them in a set time period.

I like to get the highest Yield and pay the less fees as possible.

If I use a centralized service like block-fi then will block-fi lend my deposit/balance out and if the borrower of my deposit/balancer defaults then will I lose all my money and block-fi will be liable for this loss?

For decentralized services, does this mean I have control of my private keys over my stable coins when lending them out? Also which Protocol in De-Fi is the most Audited and least risky? Are all De-Fi protocols have open-source code?

What is 'Loss of Principal' and 'Rug Pull' means?

If I lend GUSD on its own official Gemini Earn website then is my GUSD protected from any counterparty risks and borrowers defaults?

So in summary for centralized services there's counterparty risks and for decentralized services there's de-fi protocol risk correct? After weighing both which one you recommend I choose?

From all these questions answered what's the best centralized and decentralized sites out there?

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / New to MetaMask help on: October 18, 2021, 10:04:06 PM

Metamask settings:

- What is Use Blockies Identicon?

- Show Conversion on Testnets?

- Use Token Detection?

Any other settings that I can change to optimise metamask at cheapest fees?

Lastly I added Polygon to MetaMask, what next? How do I use the Polygon network for cheaper fees when sending/receiving ERC-20 tokens?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Bitcoin 21 Million Fixed Supply Question? on: September 27, 2021, 06:09:42 PM
Yeah I know 1 bitcoin can be divided into 8 decimal places to lowest 0.00000001 Sat.

It Bitcoin becomes world reserve currency then is there enough 'SATS' to go around?

Question on Meme coins they are Dogecoin & Shiba Inu:

Dogecoin has over a Trillion supply!

Shiba Inu has over a Quadrillion supply!!!

Do these meme coins can also be divided into 8 decimal places and if so then why on earth would these meme coins would allow that? I don't understand? A Quadrillion supply is not enough for everyone in this planet without the need to divide 1 Shiba Inu further down? Like 0.00000001 Shiba Inu coin  Shocked
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Programming Languages for Crypto, which is the best? on: September 25, 2021, 11:41:17 PM
What programming language Satoshi used to create Bitcoin?

These are the most popular programming languages today:

- C
- C++
- Java
- JavaScript
- Python

These are the different types of programming languages:

- Procedural Programming Language
- Functional Programming Language
- Scripting Programming Language
- Logic Programming Language
- Object-Oriented Programming Language

Which type Bitcoin falls under?

So which type of programming language and which programming language is easiest for Debugging for Security Reasons and which one is the most hardware resource efficient/fastest to run?

I keep hearing that there's not that much apps released on Cardano because it uses a unpopular programming language called Haskell that most crypto app developers are not use to using hence lack of applications deployed on Cardano.

The question is why Charles used Haskell for Cardano, what does Haskell has that other programming languages don't? Potential for more powerful complex smart contracts in compared to Ethereum? If so will crypto app developers see this as worth it to invest their money and time resources into Haskell?

I remember the console wars Playstation 3 vs Xbox 360 were games released on Xbox 360 run better because the system was easier to develop for while the PS3 was difficult to develop for even though it had a more powerful complex architecture but that lead to higher development budgets and more time required for developers making games on the PS3.

Can the same be said about Crypto blockchains?
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Patented Copyright Blockchains/Cryptos idea, Possible? on: September 18, 2021, 12:50:09 PM

Lets start off with a example:

If I find a cure for cancer I can patent it and make $billions off it. However if I find a natural cure for cancer lets say eating grass cures cancer. I'm not saying grass cures cancer but using it as a example for better understanding. Then I cant patent it because its out there natural open source decentralized where nobody owns it and hence nobody can sell it or monetize off it.

Linux operating systems are open source and I don't see their creators driving lambos. Its more of a charity community driven open source projects for the community that seek alternatives to microsoft windows and mac os and androids os that harvest people's data which is a bad thing. I will get replies saying android is open source but in reality the manufacturer of the phone puts their own layer on top of android source that doesn't make it open source private anymore.

On that notes above, in the crypto marketplace now, we see dozens of blockchains and 1000s of altcoins. They are all copying each other source codes because its open source decentralized where there's gonna be 1000 so called new projects every year that are not really new but copies with a new logo that scam $billions off retail investors. Or they copy the source code or blockchain and change 1 line of code or algorithm and say its new  Roll Eyes Litecoin for example.

With the upcoming regulatory rules on Crypto by the SEC, copying codes and scamming retail investors is a bad thing for the crypto market.

So is it possible to create a open source Decentralized blockchain or altcoin that is patented so no one can copy it? Or a Dao that monitor patented blockchains and take automated action against cryptos violating/copying it.

Or is it impossible to patent blockchains/cryptos unless its centralized Huh
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How many Cardano Ada Dex are there? on: September 17, 2021, 11:53:34 PM
Lets list them here and you guys choose which 1 will be in top 10 cmc ranking in the next crypto bull market in a few years.

When will these dexs be released and how do you buy these tokens?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Which Blockchain, Platform, Ecosystem will be the Most Competitive for Eth 2.0? on: September 14, 2021, 03:47:27 PM
In lets say the next Bear Market within a year or two.

- Polkadot

- Binance Chain

- Binance Smart Chain

- Algorand

- Solana

- Fantom

- Cardano

- Synthetics

- Avalanche

- Terra

- Cosmos

- Polygon

Any other Popular ones that I missed out on?

What's up with Binance Chain & Binance Smart Chain  Huh

Or will Eth 2.0 kill all above in the list? But then again Eth 2.0 is like Coca Cola Brand in the Crypto market so there's always a Pepsi like Brand competitor to Eth 2.0 right and if so which Blockchain do you think it will be?

Which blockchain is the Fastest, Cheapest, Most Secure  Cool? Usually this determines the winner right? Forgot to include most decentralized too, this factor is the most important over speed and fees for safety and security  Smiley
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Which Algorithm will still be Surviving, Used & Secure in 25 Years time? on: September 14, 2021, 03:22:05 PM

- CryptoNight
- Equihash
- NeoScrypt
- Quark
- Scrypt
- SHA-256
- X11
- X13

- DPoS
- Hybrid - PoW & PoS

I understand Bitcoin is PoW and Ethereum 2.0 is PoS which are the most popular ones today.

If in future down the line PoS becomes outdated or unsecure for Eth 2.0 then obviously Eth will evolve to Eth 3.0 right?

Also note Quantum Computers in 25 years time.

Lastly which ones from the list above are the ones to avoid today never mind considering them in 25 years time?

Finally if all above will face there certain obsolete death for a obvious reason that is tech always evolves then if there is a new future unreleased Algorithm that makes all from above list look outdated and unsecure then can the blockchains today hard fork or upgrade to that future algorithm?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Which New Project you will Choose under the Cardano Ecosystem? on: September 08, 2021, 07:14:38 PM
From the following link:

Which will be in the top 20 and remain in the top 20 competing with Ethereum top ERC20 projects in the next bull market starting in 2024-25?

Or will Eth 2.0 kill Cardano? Eth 2.0 fees be cheaper than cardano?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ugh, There's gonna be another 5000 new Alts released under Cardano Ada on: September 07, 2021, 12:03:36 AM
Cardano Alonzo hard fork end of this week bringing defi, dex's, apps, smart contracts, bringing a whole new cardano ecosystem.

Theres 1000s of Altcoins ERC-20 tokens that have been released under the Ethereum ecosystem that have been scams and they have cluttered up coinmarketcap and coingecko.

The same will happen to Cardano and soon we will see 20,000 cryptocurrencies available to buy on coinmarketcap & coingecko that will scam billions off the retail investors  Angry

The question is how do we find the best cardano defi app coins tokens that will stay in the top 20 ranking competing with ethereum and its multi $billion ethereum projects like Uniswap and Terra and many more Huh

Cardano defi apps tokens fees will be super cheap compared to Eth defi until Eth 2.0 comes out.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / New to Cardano Ada Alonzo Hard Fork - DeFi, DEX, Smart Contracts & Apps on: September 06, 2021, 11:48:08 PM

If I hold Ada before and after the hard fork at the end of this week then will I get a free 1:1 airdrop of the new Alonzo Ada? Like Bitcoin cash did to bitcoin holders back in Aug-Sep 2017?

On coinmarketcap where can I see cardano dex's or if they are not released for the public market then where can I buy ada dex's tokens?
18  Economy / Service Discussion / CoinMarketCal and OpenSea sites advice on: September 02, 2021, 10:34:08 PM
I understand CoinMarketCal is news showing latest blockchain updates for altcoins and OpenSea is for NFT's.

On Coinmarketcal how do I filter out all the noise in my search and only list the most relevant important news in my search results?

On Opensea how do I search and filter out so I can find the best buy NFT's in my search results? NFT's that be worth $$$$$$$$ in the future or in this current bull market?

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / New to Launchpads advice on: September 02, 2021, 01:49:28 AM
Hi new to Launchpads.

I like to invest in new and upcoming projects at discounted prices before they release on the public market. How do I buy in these private sale rounds at cheap prices?

Which is the most reputable best smart contract platform that has its own launchpad that introduces new upcoming projects? Which smart contract platform launchpad verifies and audits all upcoming/new projects and its code to check whether the project is a shit/scam coin?

Otherwise when looking for upcoming new projects on these launchpads how do you filter out the shit/scam coins and instead invest in the good ones?

Which launchpads you guys use to get in early? Cool
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Hackers/Public will have Access to Quantum Computers in 5-10 years? on: August 14, 2021, 01:34:19 PM
There's a couple of interesting white papers to read:

So Quantum Computers will be available to buy in the shops in lets say 10 years time from now and 5 years from now the first commercial business grade quantum computers will be available for sale for businesses.

Quantum computers can get anyone's private keys in fraction of a second.

The few quantum computers in the world today owned by the Big tech giants such as google, Microsoft, even china has one is used to harvest all that data from billions of people to a single point Ai. These quantum computers are massive, require a lot of cooling and are power hungry that require nuclear reactors to run them. But these are the 1st generation quantum computers.

Eventually these quantum computers will get smaller, more efficient to run off the electricity in your home and everyone will have quantum computer in their bedrooms when they hit the shelves in shops or on Amazon online in 10 years time but at a crazy price tag so not everyone can afford one in 10 years time but they will get cheaper and become mainstream especially with gamers for obvious reasons. Playing fortnite at crazy 16k resolution at million frames per second.

So how can Bitcoin survive in this technological quantum era? The B in Bitcoin stands for Bits. Quantum computing is Qubits meaning it can be a binary 1 or 0 at the same time similarly like a light switch being on or off at the same time that sounds crazy and impossible.

Will there be Qitcoin or somewhat?
