Very true. It is the lack of communication that is causing pages and pages of heat against Ken. He is not doing damage control. If his company and reputation is on the line as it is now he should have cleared all this up as soon as the shares started dropping and people start questioning deeper into AMC and all the issues that have been addressed. He is not doing his job. Get to work Ken. Stop dragging this on and get on point. Start answering our questions.

My friend there is no questions to answer it is over.

Great question-

Look up all the generic sounding companies under 'Business Experience' he has supposedly fronted/worked for/delivered mail to? and you will find nothing. It's like typing any three random business related words into google - you come up with a lot but nothing you can pin down.

Apparently he worked on the software side of 'Neural Network' and 'Virtual 3D Environment' what? - it's like he's pulled these titles out of a comic book. Where is the evidence of any of these claims? The only two results I get is under websites and here we have two sites - 'votecliffyoung' which he may have registered and offered for sale??? And also 'TahoeUltimateRentals.com'. I'll fire them off an email and ask them if a 'Ken Slaughter' developed their site. What do we think they will say?

Yeah i did the same thing, i couldn't find any of the companies listed under the "business experiance" and "software package developed" headers.

Under the heading Cloud Development, a domain exists however the domain name does not match the business service. shopping-cart-now.com for a cloud hosting service?? (go on the website guys and play around on it, it is laughable)

Under "The Websites Developed" heading you can see they are just generic websites that anyone can bash away to make within a short period of time. And as you said votecliffyoung has nothing.

I conclude lack of evidence of his business experiance hence Ken Slaughters statements about previous projects hold no value or/until clear verifiable proof of what work he has done in the past is shown(which any rational person can assume to be non-existent).

As an investor since early May i have seen my investment go 7-8x and now back to close to where i started from. If Ken really cares about his shareholds and values AMC i hope he takes my requests seriously. It sucks that he has had 2 days and he has yet to reach out to myself as well as other investors in regards to the main issues that we have pointed out. I think we should change the agreement contract between Ken and the investors of AMC as soon as possible.
chill people it's the weekend.  maybe Ken actually has a life and a family he likes to spend time with.  maybe even go to the pool or something...

Having "a life" doesn't justify lack of communication with shareholders and potential shareholders. With millions of dollars currently at stake amongst the bitcoin community.

I don't hold any shares and never have however.

687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proposal: Fully Decentralised Exchange Mechanism for All Cryptocurrencies & Fiat on: June 30, 2013, 04:54:51 PM
The ability to claw back funds is designed to force dependency on courts.   The only thing the gov needs to do is to legalize clawback of all crypto currency related trx and thus give scammers a license to steal.

This is why we need a crypto currency that has no insurer yet tracks the value of usd.  Ie. bitshares

Ok, i should have read the article, didn't get the definition of claw-back right. Sorry.
688  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bit Funder] [btcquick] [Rising profits] on: June 30, 2013, 03:08:37 PM
Mmmh.

Dividend/month ~= .00000062
Ask = 0.00011370
-->
ROI = 183 months.

I think I'll pass.

ROI, you are assuming that btcquick profits are not going to go up in 183 months as i have shown, profits have been accelerating every month(besides May, read the News to see why). This Company has only been on the stock exchange for a very short period. I won't be surprised to see profits continue to rise exponentially as has been done in the past.

Either way risk/reward must we weighed.
689  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Seeking a team to develop Bitcointalk 2.0 forums (apply within) on: June 30, 2013, 02:18:58 PM
You can get the forum up now; figure out appropriate forum boards,  get a few moderators. Workout some forum rules that will differentiate yourself from bitcointalk. Choose the forum software, i recommend phpBB https://www.phpbb.com/

The Original Post should be organized in sections explaining what needs to be done that the community can figure out right now. He then should constantly update the post once he gets more answers/feedback. I don't think calling for help in the air without specifying everything is the most efficient thing to do.

Example:

The amount of Staff required and the prerequisites.
Forum Software.
What boards we should have.
What rules

Specify what you want and you will get answers. Then you should constantly update the OP until you are ready to implement everything.

How about have a system where multiple escrows deal with 1 single fiat transaction? So we don't put all our eggs in one basket.

Give it a rest. Turn off you computer, go outside and relax. The bitterness in some of you is unhealthy.

Man i feel so fuking bad for everyone, everyone is getting angry at each other cause they need to release that anger inside about what happened and using eachother as the outlet.

This is not good for bitcoin and for the community in general.

But life is about learning and its journeys however crazy the roller-coaster ride is.

I am a small Shareholder of the company, (Beginning Of June)

I started this post to raise awareness of the company.
698  Economy / Securities / [Bit Funder] [btcquick] [Rising profits] on: June 29, 2013, 07:36:28 AM

I'm going to keep this thread updated to keep track of btcquick's progress.

About the Company: btcquick.com
  • btcQuick is a new leader in the market for buying bitcoins with GoogleCheckout (credit & debit cards) & bank accounts (via Zipmark).
  • btcQuick has sold more than $100,000 USD worth of bitcoins since launch.
  • One (1) "share" of btcQuick on BitFunder represents 1/50,000,000th of monthly profits after all costs of normal business activities.(Payed with dividends)

"As of May 18th btcQuick had 2,877 membership level customers. By May 29th the total increased to 3,349. Our April transactions equaled 309, while the total transactions for the month of May were 429. The second half of the month of May saw an increase in sales that equated to 42%!"

btcquick will soon add a sell function to the website so clients can both buy and sell bitcoin. As of now you can only buy bitcoin.

Profit History
2012 November - $59.72 USD (Est. 4.7776 BTC)
2012 December - $136.36 USD (Est. 10.18371919 BTC)
2013 January - $415.95 USD (Est. 21.11421319 BTC)
2013 February - $1,790.62 USD (Est. 57.72469375 BTC)
2013 March - $ 2,741.64 USD (Est. 21.08461538 BTC) - March P&L
2013 April - $3,545.15
2013 May - $ 2,616.94
2013 June - $ 1,879.31 (1st to 15th) - (16th to 30th TBD)

Chart goes up to May, slightly lower profits on May. You can see the first half of June alone sees profits at $1879, and one could safely speculate that this months profits will be over $3500.

Shares Issued: 50Million
Total worth at current prices: 5000 BTC

If profits continue to rise (assuming the price of bitcoin is stable), it is a worthwhile the investment at current prices. BtcQuick is no bullshit about there profits, they give explicit updates every month on their profit margins and distribute the profits to the shareholders. I don't see many companies on the bitcoin stock market that do this. As most are speculative with nothing to show.

Current Price as of 29th June 2013

0.00009999
0.00011370 +8.8%
0.00011444 +0.7%
Dividends for the month are going to be payed within 6 days.

I've been an early investor bought below 0.0008BTC and cashed out at 0.0025BTC

Why the sudden change of heart? ken is his whole operation gets shadier everyday. It may seem like all is going well with his active posts/and few Avalon rigs running for dust dividends, but it looks more and more like a scam to me.

But this is bitcoin stocks and we have seen in the past, elaborate scams aren't new. This may be the biggest one yet.

Go read the share information and contract over and over, investor's benefits very little and I honestly don't know how you can justify selling your newer issued shares at 0.0025. I understand if there are significantly less shares before you introduced 4million shares at 0.0025. But no, that's not the case... 10TIMES the amount of shares has already been present and issued. You honestly think you can just increase your stock by 310%+ by issuing another 4 million at that price claiming early bird investment?

You just tripled your money and you are still complaining?

My worry as a potential investor is the opposite. Despite tripling his money the guy has nothing good to say about the operation. There are lots of people in this thread with similar views. I went through 380 pages of ASICMINER discussions and believe me, its 99% praise. Here its 50/50, makes me vary wary as potential investor.

Hey mate, you are correct. If theres 40 million shares on issue at lets say at the rate of 0.0025  a share. 40m x 0.0025 = 100k in BTC. There is no way this company is worth 100 thousand in bitcoins LOL. Did i miss something here? I can't see this going up.

Update: They  actually have 100 million shares, that makes the company worth 250k BTC @ 0.0025. Which is 1/84 of all bitcoins (21 million) or at current prices worth 25 million dollars, This is plain ridicules. And a drop in value is sure to come. This is mostly speculative hype. A bullish rush to buy that it way more emotional than rational.
