Guys, I am reading several last pages and see that most of you use a little bit short-sighted approach. For company I am small investor but most of you would call me a "whale".  I see that you can't even understand why some of those whom you call whales chooses AMBER option. When the option to get paid in Amber was available I was in vacation So I missed that train. And now is the second chance. There is no chanse to get cheap shares from company. So there are only 2 sources left - miners and other shareholders.  And both sell their shares on exchanges. To sell now is the best way to fix looses. But if you want to earn then my advice is to hold a little bit longer. Even if you don't want to stay a shareholder any more you'll at least gain some profit. I just have even more to say - I know a guy who has more than 100k shares but is not even a shareholder! He has bought them from exchange and holds them to sell when the price will rise enough. He doesn't care about dividends at all. And as far as I know he's going to sell them offline at price close to which company sells (now ~$0.10). I can be wrong but I think that future profit from increasing share's value will beat the profit from dividends. But in past dividends were sweet - I've invested $10k at the very beginning and ~$5.5k got back as Q1 and Q2 dividends. So I can understand those who votes for BTC. P.S. My ID is 14. And my vote is AMBER. I don't know if AMBER or BTC payout wins but I hope my post will help to understand another point of view. |

I don't see any reasons for panic now. I think all who decided to re-invest (like me) will receive their shares on 05.01.16. And the rest will be paid shortly after that. Just a guess though... While it is not happening all dumpers are welcome at my buying walls  Hey, hey it's the guy who actually visited the London office and posted pictures... and he's not dumping.... it's like be knows something. Feel free to dump though. I may throw a 1 btc dump wall at 0.00002 or something painfully low. I suspect none in the sky is falling crowd have 50k coins to fill my order, if so PM me, we can work something out. That number is my high offer and I'm not going a satoshi higher. Actually it was a Lithuania's office. Not London I think I know as much as you all. But have a good feeling. No more no less. |

In whole the decision of company's management is clear. And as a shareholder, I welcome the presence of the company's long-term development plan. Moreover, it is not enough simple to have a plan but you need to follow it. And the company seems to do it. Though, of course I would like to get more detailed information. All together we hardly have 9% of the company shares. And we, as a shareholders, need to increase the influence of our community and then we will have higher weight on company's decisions. The number of shareholders is significant. And if each of us would do something useful for company then all parties will win. Simple win-win strategy. |

The dev seems pretty active and there are not many problems with the coin. Cryptsy is close to accept it as a new coin to trade so i think it has potential to go up, i will probably invest a little bit in it when it comes to cryptsy, i see there is a faucet too, looks promising, i will keep an eye on it.
i think better if buy from now this coin increased step by step and stabil almost no dump and pump I like to wait until the coins get to cryptsy to buy which is going to be soon enough, what other exchanges is this coin on? The thing is that nowdays there are tons of exchanges and most of them are really shitty and accept any coin no matter what, at cryptsy you have a little bit of quality even tho sometimes the coins there can go to shit easily. Cryptsy doesn't seem to be a right indicator. They haven't added Monero but tons of shit is still traded there. For me it is an example of extremly unclear and unpredictable adding/removing politics. I think Cryptsy has stoped to be an etalon long time ago. |

40+ investors have got the dividends. It is normal that just a few investors posted here that they have got a dividends. The most people think that no need to write a post if all goes as it should be. But if it was something wrong we would have seen them all posting here.  It is how usually people behave. there is ~8M AMBER that has not been generated yet [49M(max supply) - 41M(current supply)] and is supposed to be generated through POW.
I think it would be great to reduce an amount of coins that is being generated with POW and increase the amount of AMBER to be generated with POS. If it is done in such a way it will give an additional profit for investors - for those who BUYs & HOLDs.
The company should protect the interests of investors as well as the own ones. I think the remaining 8M should be distributed for example as 2M through POW and 6M through POS or somehow like that.
Why do I think it would be better?
Because from the very beginning AMBERCOIN mining was quite profitable and miners just dumped their coins and drove the price down. Every time the price starts to increase those who mined coins dumps them instead of holding.
When Investors buys AMBERCoin they increase Amber Trade's working capital and company's overall profit as a result.
Increasing the quota for POS will be an excellent signal for investors.
Please consider this suggestion.

Dividends payouts will start right after we determine the company's Q1 2015 profit. We don't have an exact date for today but it should happen before deadlines that were declared. Company Q1 profit determination - 15-20 of April.

Hi, yesterday I have visited an Amber Trade's office in Lithuania. And here is my review as I have promised before. I have found an office without any problem. There were two managers in office when I came. After a several minutes of conversation we went down to the basement where the safe-room is located. I was impressed very much with the thickness of the door  . I was allowed to make some photos there. Raw amber stock is not too big for now, because most of it has not arrived yet, but I managed to touch some of it Also I have been shown a photos of company's quarries and amber mining process. It was interesting. As I understand some of that photos are going to become public soon. Overall impression is very positive. I am pleased that I was not too lazy to go to the office. I plan to increase my investments in Amber Trade's shares in near future, because I am sure that the company (coin) has a future. P.S. And below are some photos. |
