I'm wondering if there has been any movement towards opening an office in China.  I know you addressed this question already, but it has been almost 2 months since it was asked so I figured I would ask again, especially since the Chinese are one of the largest purchasers of Amber (so I assume that office would be a major leap forward for Amber-Trade).

Of course there were a movements in this direction.
Now we have an unofficial partner in China.
But tight work to open an office will start in September.

I think people like to keep some of their return on investment.  I don't think pumping 100% back into the coin is what folks are doing.  Maybe 20% and keep 80%.  But then again I am sometimes conservative.  Tongue

Well 20k have been sold through C-cex, but if you look at the OP, you see that this is on top of 150k that were already sold at 14.6k sat. That means most investors are choosing to buy directly from the company to take advantage of their guaranteed buyback (which is only available if you buy Ambercoins directly from Amber-Trade).

In my opinion, I think we should buy from exchanges because when people see massive volume on a coin over there, it generates interest and hence more people learn about Ambercoin.  When you buy from the company, yes you get their guaranteed buyback, but the downside is that your purchase essentially goes unnoticed.

I saw 150k sold at the OP, but thought that it was 50k sent to bleutrade + 100k to c-cex. Isn't it correct?

The buyback should work with the Amber at exchange sold from the Amber LTD.

Yes. It is correct.
It is done to not update the OP every time when 5 Amber are sold )))

Sure. So, unfortunatelly there are no direct buys (150k) from investors, as @Penn.3D wrote.
BTW, over 60k AMBER sold at c-cex, today.

I think that it's not a problem. Wink

Today:
C-Cex -       65k 85k
Bleutrade -  20k
Direct buy - 10k

A little bit less over Smiley than 100k.

I just read the news section of the Amber-Trade website, and saw this:

Round #1: 4,000,000 Amber @8200 satoshi – Done
Round #2: 500,000 Amber @10400 satoshi – Done
Round #3: 500,000 Amber @12500 satoshi – Done
Round #4: 500,000 Amber @14600 satoshi <<< Now live
Round #5: 250,000 Amber @16700 satoshi

So that means for the next round, there will only be 250,000 Amber available at 16700 sat! That is absolutely BRILLIANT!!!!! Why do I say that?.....

Well all you have to do is take the above and follow it to it's logical next steps:

Round #6: 250,000 Amber @18900 satoshi
Round #7: 125,000 Amber @20100 satoshi
Round #8: 100,000 Amber @22200 satoshi
Round #9: 75,000   Amber @24500 satoshi
Round #10: 50,000 Amber @26600 satoshi
Round #11: 40,000 Amber @28800 satoshi
Round #12: 35,000 Amber @30900 satoshi
Round #13: 30,000 Amber @33100 satoshi
Round #14: 29,000 Amber @35200 satoshi
Round #15: 28,000 Amber @37300 satoshi
Round #16: 27,000 Amber @39400 satoshi
Round #17: 26,000 Amber @41500 satoshi
Round #18: 25,000 Amber @43600 satoshi
Round #19: 24,500 Amber @45800 satoshi
Round #20: 24,000 Amber @47900 satoshi
Round #30: 23,500 Amber @50000 satoshi
Round #31: 23,000 Amber @52100 satoshi
Round #32: 22,500 Amber @54200 satoshi
Round #33: 22,000 Amber @56300 satoshi
Round #34: 21,500 Amber @58400 satoshi
Round #35: 21,000 Amber @60500 satoshi
Round #36: 20,500 Amber @62600 satoshi
Round #37: 20,000 Amber @64700 satoshi
Round #38: 19,900 Amber @66800 satoshi

Let's imagine we are at Round #30 in the above [obviously hypothetical] scenario. In that case, it would only take 11.75btc to completely buy out the round. Now imagine if you have 11.75btc sitting around, would you want to spend that much money on Amber? Well of COURSE, because you know if you do that, Amber would immediately be in the next round where the price would be even higher and there would be even LESS coins available at that higher price!

Do you GET IT!?  Shocked

Even BETTER, let's imagine we are on round 81 and it looks like this:

Round #81: 9,150 Amber @126600 satoshi

Or how about we are on round 109 and it looks like this:

Round #109: 5,120 Amber @228100 satoshi

Holy crap......THAT my friends is why the dev said:

"I can say for sure that at this moment AmberCoin is at the very beginning of its long way to the top.
And all shareholders in long term will get a benefits they can't even imagine now."

It's absolutely f'in BRILLIANT!!!!!!  Grin
