1141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you staking or mining, or both? on: September 07, 2019, 11:43:34 AM
I personally prefer staking, because to start minning requires a large enough cost. at least a compatible computer device for the minning software that will be used, and that is very expensive, coupled with the cost of electricity bills which is also quite high because the computer does not die during mining.

that's the reason why I prefer staking over minning.
1142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: don't rely on gift tokens, balance your time with other things. on: September 05, 2019, 11:52:33 AM
don't rely on gift tokens because that will only bore you and not to mention you have to wait for them to be listed on the exchange or at least until they have a sale price to make up for your hard work.
I suggest balancing your time with other things you can do in this market and I think there are many ways to make a profit besides a prize campaign. I say this because I also feel bored with them and what I produce from gift tokens does not produce sweet fruit.
at this time I balance with trading, how about you?
I think it's not only bounty, but almost most of the market is having a hard time and to get profit, I think it's also a difficult thing. it's true what you say about time balance.

but I prefer to other markets or other forums, to sell online to fill the so long bounty and crypto market that is falling.
1143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Old Bounties VS New Bounties on: September 03, 2019, 12:19:24 AM
in my opinion there is no significant difference between the old or new bounties. Since the market crashed, at the end of the day the bounty has become very vulnerable to scams because the project team doubted the success of their tokens, eventually they never launched it.
1144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee Believes Dogecoin “Will Go To The Moon” on: September 01, 2019, 11:33:14 AM
Well!!

We all are aware that Elon Musk has publicly stated that Dogecoin is one of his favorite cryptocurrencies. At present Dogecoin found a new fan,
John McAfee, the most popular public figures in the crypto industry. John has agreed that Dogecoin is cryptocurrency gearing up for a big price rally.

What's your take on this, will dogecoin price surge up?
Please can you help provide us with sources were McAfee said this? Dogecoin from inception has not done well and I think investors are not also happy because it has not done well and up till now is one of the undervalued coins in the market. If big crypto enthusiasts like McAfee are now speaking about it then we should expect it to moon soon.
it seems like this will only be a speculation, because if we look at the doge in reality, it is still very far to be said to be able to rise to the moon. but if it's true john mcafee says that, it means that something big is going to happen to dogecoin.
we wait ......
1145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any successful bounty projects since 2018? on: August 31, 2019, 07:20:59 AM
for what i follow ..... no  Cheesy

but there are successful projects as well, harmony sounds pretty good, I think this is all still constrained by the crypto market which still hasn't gone up and is preventing some bounty teams from launching tokens to the market so many bounties don't launch their tokens to the market.
1146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if anyone hacked your account then who is responsible??? on: August 30, 2019, 03:56:40 AM
no, because from the start it was clear that the crypto industry was not responsible for any form of loss, be it accounts or coins. so here we work, whether it's investment, trading, or bounty, there are no authorities that guarantee our account or anything that is lost to us.

so be careful
1147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunting is past it's glory days on: August 27, 2019, 11:07:51 PM
My experience so far with bounty this year have been bad and it is not as profitable as it used to be. Mainly bounty hunters don't really get good projects that will pay and those that pay just pay a penny which is not worth the time and energy put into the work.
My question is, is it possible to still make a living from bounty or we should just move on from it?
for me, after many projects that are not good and don't pay, I think it's time we look for alternatives for our income.

if we still believe in the bounty for the future, then keep looking. however, we must have another job to cover our income if the bounty still fails.
1148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors are impatient and too quick to judge projects on: August 26, 2019, 12:00:37 AM
It usually surprise me when I see investors complaining about a good project that didn't increase  or providing returns immediately it got listed on the exchange and they term it scam or say different things like rekted.
But the truth is, are these investors investing in the project because they believe in it or are they just in it for the immediate profit and move on?  Because if you are investing in a project because you believe in it then you should be willing to HODL the tokens and wait for the team to gradually deliver the project and meet its necessary roadmap before you judge it and not condemn it on its first listing.
psychologically, investors lately want direct or instant profits because the fall of the market last year made confidence decline slightly. so now with an investment in a good project, they will still consider it a scam if it is not immediately listed on the exchange.
1149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bullrun time is the best time to trade on: August 23, 2019, 01:11:08 AM
during bull run, the graph automatically increases and the market is always green. and that time is the right time to trade because the market trend is going up. inversely proportional to bear market, the market trend is down, then when trading when it will be a little delay when making a profit. that is a very reasonable theory when we enter the crypto market.
1150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are investors still complaining? on: August 23, 2019, 12:59:29 AM
Investors do complain because most project are cheat they only fight for there pocket.. Ico for now is a scam I can't buy ico with just 1$ because it's a great loss at last. I'm not a loser so no more ico..
yes, actually the inconsistencies are not investors without research, but it is the team that is inconsistent in carrying out the project. How come? when projects are running well from the start, they ruin them by bringing in money from investors so that the project eventually dies, or tokens never get released to the market exchange for various reasons. after that, investors will feel disadvantaged because they can no longer sell tokens that they bought during pre-sale.
1151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers ruin ICO fund raising on: August 22, 2019, 03:04:50 AM
from the first, indeed if there were no scammers, indeed this ico industry would be far better. the funds collected can be very fast to help ico projects, sometimes even not according to the schedule of achieving a hard cap, can already be realized. this shows that ico is very much in demand, and investors have no doubts about several projects that are running and developing. it's just that, sometimes there are bad teams, and take off the funds that have been collected.
1152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Projects Paying Out in Bitcoin or Ethereum Instead of Bounty Native Token on: August 22, 2019, 02:53:28 AM
actually the effect of bounty hunters when selling tokens and falling prices is not too big. in my opinion it is a bit unreasonable, because the total supply of tokens is 100%, later the tokens distributed to bounty hunters are not 100%, not even more than 50%. so, no need to blame anymore.

if payment is using btc or eth, I think that is also good. provided the estimated value is the same as the token value calculated from the stake obtained by the bounty hunter (reward), so that the project team also does not lose. so the two parties benefit each other.
1153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to be a good traders of altcoins? on: August 22, 2019, 02:44:48 AM
the main theory of trading is to buy cheap and then sell it when prices go up many times the purchase price to make big profits. is now the right time? maybe yes, maybe not. the reason is, the first market is indeed falling, there is definitely a possibility to go up again, then this is arguably a good opportunity.

secondly, the market may still delay to rise, or long term, so it can be called long-term investment not trading if it is like that.
1154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting around KYC for ICOs on: August 21, 2019, 10:00:04 AM
Many ICOs have KYC requirements now and do not allow people from several countries (incl. USA, China, etc).  In case anyone is affected by this, pls have a look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2805785.0
is this related to Donald Trump's statement that said something negative about crypto? so there is a prohibition. if for china, we already know that even a few years ago China had stated its rejection.
1155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: invest? gambling? or trade again? on: August 20, 2019, 12:56:14 AM
bitcoin

Based on ROI, bitcoin is currently the most promising asset, even beating large stocks such as Amazon, visa and even in the future, Microsoft shares can also be defeated. since it was first launched until now, the price increase has reached 1000 times.

in my opinion bitcoin is a very promising investment.
1156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I've taken my eye off bounty hunters comments on: August 20, 2019, 12:35:09 AM
Many bounty hunters are very misleading ,blaming bounty projects for not making any good profits out of them but I've learn to move on without having to look after a bounty hunter or what signature the bounty hunter is wearing ,this year alone i was able to join very good bounty projects because i start believing in myself and not any one else ,I've come to understand that many bounty hunters still live in the past thinking that bounty should remain the same and profitable like in the past ,we have many scam projects ,no doubt but yet many bounty hunters are still promoting them .

I'm going to list few very good projects I've promoted and believe that they are very legit
1) Harmony
2) Veil Project
3) Tecra Coin
4) Miracle telecom project
5) Gowithme   etc

Do you know why all this projects are active and successful? They have real teams ,and their teams are pro with past experience on crypto coins. I earned the tokens through bounties and I'm still confused how bounty hunters blindly join bounty projects that are total waste of time.

Stop putting blames of scam projects ,if all bounty hunters start choosing projects carefully we will leave fake projects in the dust and they will find their way off here.

UPDATE:
After reading several replies to my post some are claiming that harmony haven't distribute bounty tokens yet, you're right but remember that this post is about choosing legit bounty projects ,not getting paid either by getting bounty token locked by team or delay in distribution is another thing ,this is about bounty hunters that promote projects with whacky white paper ,copy paste job ,fake project teams and pump & dump projects.

If you are asked to chose either Harmony or Xsapphire or casicoin which one will it be? Is harmony a scam project ? Of coarse not . Good projects fails too but its better to promote good real project than promoting projects with a single team or projects with stolen identity teams.

If you go through this link you will see how many scam projects are caught on bitcointalk forum every month,  February 2019 over 20 scam projects are caught.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5110020.msg49742941#msg49742941

The scam artists are still out there copying and editing to tender almost good looking project to lure hunters.
haven't even had time to launch into the market exchange, the price of harmony has been getting lower. but you are right, the harmony project is good, and can be relied upon that someday it will definitely get profit from it.
1157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum getting old? on: August 19, 2019, 09:38:53 AM
Ethereum had a large prominence within the crypto space since launch, due to its flexibility for developing decentralized applications and launching ICO tokens. During 2017, Ethereum gained a lot of traction where it had massive transaction activity within its Blockchain network. This was largely attributed towards the rise of ICO's popularity, as well as, Blockchain-based games like CryptoKitties. While those times where exciting, everything came to an end as soon as transaction speeds became lower and fees spiked due to high network load.

After that, the ICO craze was no more, and people stopped using Ethereum more thoroughly. With the rise of other smart contract platforms with better speeds and lower fees than Ethereum, most developers and businesses have shifted towards well-known competitors of ETH. Now, many people are waiting for the PoS consensus upgrade to take effect, but developers continue to delay the same. After so many delays, it seems to me that Ethereum is starting to get old. The hype is over, and people are not so excited about ETH as they used to be within its early days.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Huh
the truth is we cannot refuse, but etherum should do an evaluation by improving their products. by looking at competitors who are able to beat them in terms of transaction speed and costs, etherum should be able to evaluate this in order to stay competitive and not sink. I think sooner or later, etherum will make a breakthrough that can surprise the market.
1158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing does not have to wait long on: August 19, 2019, 09:33:20 AM
yes, the name is also like trading. if you see the price go up slightly from the previous purchase price, then the next step is to sell it. or wait even longer with the possibility of going up or down. well, for people who wait a long time for investment, the goal is to get a large profit because in the long run, they expect prices to rise to months.
1159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think 40% bonus is too much for early Investors? on: August 19, 2019, 09:25:25 AM
In some cases where a token price crashes soon after listing on the Exchange, the blames has over time been attributed to the bounty hunters and sometimes to early investors that received certain bonuses.

Do you think 40% bonus for early investors is too much and capable of crashing token price?
my question is, 40% is calculated from the total supply of tokens that will be circulated in the market, or 40% of the total investment invested. if 40% of the total investment of an investor, I think it's not too big and reasonable. but if 40% is taken from the total planned token supply, of course it's too big.
1160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to invest safely in cryptocurrency? on: August 15, 2019, 11:48:05 AM
if I think personally a safe way to invest in cryptocurrency is :

1. the project runs according to the roadmap and whitepaper that has been made;
2. cryptocurrency that we invest in already has a product;
3. the team always updates about the progress that is happening in the project that we invest;
4. invest in project that are in the top 1-500 in coinmarketpcap (have a high volume);
5. the project we want to invest has been running for a long time (if I personally never invested in a new project), because investing in new project has a greater risk than we invest in old project.

There is always a risk of getting something we want to get. Indeed, some of the things you say are something that can be considered before we decide to invest. But, we also need to estimate the likelihood of the results that we can get later, by determining when to buy a coin and estimate the price increase in the future before deciding to invest.

therefore, timing is the most important thing before investing. because we will definitely need the right feeling and timing to buy, and pay attention to the chart of the coins or tokens that we invest, if it doesn't go up then it's better to cut loss. but if there is a good move, maintain it and sell when it rises high to the top.
