2581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what to do if bitcoin decreases? on: January 02, 2018, 12:01:25 PM
do not trade first. keep hold bitcoin, we can still trading speculation on altcoin. don't worry when bitcoin values decrease, altcoin can still benefit.
2582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who uses myetherwallet? on: January 02, 2018, 11:49:54 AM
I use it. to store the tokens I get from ico project, and then I send it to vip.bitcoin.co.id. then I make a voucher for later I redeem to a local bank. myetherwallet function is to store tokens, and I think it's very safe.
2583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What caused all the price drops? on: January 01, 2018, 03:08:26 AM
Almost all the altcoins (and bitcoin too) went down alot yesterday. Does anybody have a clue what caused this major drop?
Perhaps because market demand is slightly down, as a result of some countries are starting to think about the legality of this digital currency. if in the year 2018 this is all resolved, I am sure the market demand will rise again and its price also rise.
2584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New alt coin says it can beat Bitcoin on: January 01, 2018, 03:05:05 AM
Its ICO is a long time, up to 3 months. what's not so long? do not know also its price in the market. the ICO project should be 2 months only. but that's okay, can still join in this january, hopefully his project is successful and his price is really high.
2585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Giveaway threads are not allowed on: January 01, 2018, 02:54:14 AM
Most giveaway threads are no longer allowed in the Alternate cryptocurrencies sections. From now on, posting or replying to such threads could result in being banned. Existing threads will be locked.

Specifically, you are not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads. You can't offer to pay people who post their addresses, usernames, etc. You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.

Similar threads are already restricted to Games and Rounds in the non-altcoin sections, but the giveaway-related post volume is so high in the altcoin sections that I've decided to just ban them entirely here.
does a meaning of giveaway thread is it giving bonuses to members who reply to posts on its thread?
2586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Cardano replace Ethereum? on: December 31, 2017, 02:30:42 AM
maybe. maybe in the next few years cardano will replace etherum. we see from the good side only, the more new crypto that appears to compete with bitcoin, we can use it for investment. whether it's cardano, or etherum, the most important is getting a profit.
2587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoin will make us rich? on: December 31, 2017, 02:16:31 AM

SGG, ATL, LH CRYPTO, maybe you can to see the altcoin. I recently noticed the upgraded value, and may increase again.
2588  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: December 30, 2017, 10:33:32 AM
of course, bitcoin is good way to invest our money. maybe some people who have known bitcoin for longer, and do not invest the money, they regret today. the rise in bitcoin price from year to year is very significant. and reached the peak of the highest price in 2017. it is not impossible if in the following years bitcoin will increase 2x more. that's the reason I started investing in bitcoin. although I'm still a beginner, but I'm sure and always learned the bitcoin price chart.
2589  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think the Xmas and Holiday season, caused the drop in the price? on: December 30, 2017, 10:27:55 AM
according to me, during Xmas and holiday season, people are busy to plan all that with their families. and possibly fewer trading, investment, and other trading activities. or maybe, during Xmas and holiday season, bitcoin is used as a reward, so there is a price drop.
2590  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be Taxed...... on: December 30, 2017, 10:22:25 AM
If that is the best way for the government to provide regulation, and then levy taxes for every bitcoin transaction, I strongly agree. provided that bitcoin is completely legal and no need to worry about legalization.
2591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best Social Media for promoting an ICO ? on: December 29, 2017, 01:12:33 PM
Like the title says, i would like some feedback from the experts in this industry, so far i have gathered these 5 most important that seem to be used by everyone, can you add more ways?

1. Twitter
2. Reddit
3. This forum
4. Telegram
5. Slack (which i heard is full of scammers)
I will add facebook, youtube, and instagram. bbm is also good for ico ads. essentially, social media that many users. but lately, I more often see ico ads on facebook.
2592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: December 29, 2017, 01:08:35 PM
You will be asking this questions in 2023 as well, believe me. ICO is a good strategy and it has good investment opportunities. It will continue spreading. There might be some government issues, of course, but similar situations happened at past. All issues are solved.
I agree with you. even lately, many ico are advertising on social media like facebook, youtube, and some sites on the internet. ico is getting popular today. You are right if ico is a good investment prospect, and it is unlikely to disappear in 2018. It will even continue to exist, as long as bitcoin or altcoin still exists.
2593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach BTC value ? on: December 28, 2017, 11:41:53 AM
seen from market cap and volatility, eth has a big chance to reach bitcoin. even though it takes time. maybe 2-5 years ahead.
2594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: December 27, 2017, 02:01:36 AM
probably not in the near future. because according to sources I read on the internet:
"from Market Cap (Total Market Capitalization) Bitcoin indeed leave Ethereum, with a total Market Cap of $ 132 billion, with a total trading volume for the last 24 $ is 5 billion, while Bitcoin supply in circulation has reached $ 16 million from max supply 21 million, meaning that the supply of Bitcoin is getting thinner so that according to the law of supply and demand, the price will also continue to increase as time goes on.
As for Ethereum, the total Market Cap or market capitalization is still at $ 31 billion with the last 24 hours trading volume of $ 834 million. For supply of ETH that has been circulating in the market of 97 million without maximum limit. This also makes it difficult for ETH prices to rise further, let alone the available supply "unlimited". Although there are some who say that the maximum ETH is 87 million, but now the circulation has even exceeded that limit. "
I predict, etherum in 2018, not yet can overtake bitcoin.
2595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alternative Block Chains : be safe! on: December 27, 2017, 01:54:22 AM
thanks gavin, your advice is very helpful. even though it was 7 years ago. at this time, I think the security system from this block chain is very well preserved. maybe, is still prone is exchanger. as happened yesterday on etherdelta.
2596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now or wait? on: December 27, 2017, 01:32:04 AM
better investment now, do not wait anymore. by closing the end of the year with sufficient investment, hoping to earn huge profits in the next year. it may be next year, bitcoin will rise again.
2597  Economy / Economics / Re: When will more retailers accept Bitcoin on: December 26, 2017, 10:47:54 AM
it all depends on the government's decision. when the government actually legalizes bitcoin, all the possibilities can happen. but to keep in mind is about the value of the fluctuating bitcoin. when the reteller fixes the current sale price (eg bitcoin value 10 USD) and after a while, the bitcoin price drops to 10 USD. does the reteller not lose by it? maybe if the bitcoin value can be stable, it will be easier for the reteller to put the price.
2598  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin the next big thing? on: December 26, 2017, 10:39:51 AM
yes, I think so. bitcoin would be a big thing in the crypto world. however, I think another great thing will also happen in the crypto world. like its bitcoin, coins like etherum would also follow the bitcoin glory.
2599  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: December 26, 2017, 10:29:25 AM
I did not buy as much possible btc as the price was cheap. because at that time I still do not quite understand the prospect of bitcoin. I was also doubtful then. and now that I understand the price of btc rising high, I feel regret and guilty at that time. wrong decision that makes me regret.
2600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All coins are now dying, what do you think? on: December 25, 2017, 07:44:13 AM
The entire market is in the red. Everyone has lost money. What do you think?

You were looking to the 24hs chart, probably that's what make you feel coins were dying but at a quick look up on monthly prices is not the same. It happened to me before.
Yeah you right, i have try to look over 24h chart and follow you guide  then i know that altcoins still rising. Cheesy
yes, that's common in the crypto world. We do not have to worry, it's important we still follow a good ico project and wait until it gets a big profit.
