141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or altcoin on: July 08, 2023, 03:14:11 AM
Bitcoin and altcoin, in my opinion you should invest in Bitcoin. Because, the risk of Bitcoin may be high but Bitcoin gives good returns. Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency coin. And it is high priced and well established and trusted. Alt coins on the other hand give good returns but that are more risky and sometimes alt coins have the possibility to scam which is not possible with Bitcoin. if you want to invest in alt coins, do your research and invest. In my opinion 70% of your investment should be in bitcoin and 30% in alt coins.

You are absolutely right that bitcoin investment is safe.Where the rate of return may be low but your capital is safe.On the other hand, there are many coins in the cryptocurrency market that are expected to yield a good profit, but all these coins always have risk of loss compared to Bitcoin. It cannot be denied that there are good strong coins in the cryptocurrency market that have the potential to give a good profit. If the investment is done by choosing the top coins in the market, the loss rate can be minimized with a good profit, but no matter how good and best the coins are chosen, they cannot compete with Bitcoin.Still, I think you can take a risk by investing a small portion of your capital in altcoins.

some altcoins also have trust like bitcoin, and we can invest in peace of mind, considering that usually they will have a greater percentage of profit than bitcoin. however, if we don't want to take on a bigger risk then just investing in bitcoin I think is enough because bitcoin is a reference for cryptocurrencies, if bitcoin is destroyed then most of the altcoins will definitely follow it, but it's different if altcoins are destroyed, then it has nothing to do with bitcoin
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is ever the right time. on: July 08, 2023, 03:04:17 AM
If everyone knows when the right time to buy i believe everyone who put money in crypto already super rich. There is no right time in investment, you just need to set your strategy such as DCA or anything else.

Maybe people would had been afraid to invest because they will believe that immediately they invested their money will sink. Crypto is like a serious gambling whereby when you invested you have given other your money and when you sell you have automatically taken from other people that's why during bull run those who invested at bear market will cash out as soon they noticed bull.

While those who fails to invest in bear and waits for bull to come before making investment are those who likely cry all time because they where too lazy to invest at bear. Immediately the bull comes they rushed down to invest thinking they will make fortune from the bull without knowing they are freely throwing their resources to those who invested at the bear period.
we must be able to distinguish the bullish season and the bearish season, where both have different treatment for investing. it's different with short-term trading, where we have to analyze the daily to get the price at the strongest or closest support, and after that we can sell it at the resistance we have drawn. when it comes to investing, of course this is planned for the long term, so that the bearish season is an opportunity to buy and sell it during the bullish season, but remember don't be greedy, before the price drops again then take profits
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Price To Buy Ethereum on: July 08, 2023, 02:53:01 AM
I think ethereum is the same as bitcoin, where ethereum is the safest altcoin for now. so I think anytime is a good time to invest, investing is different from short-term trading. therefore we are still in the bearish season and of course we can invest from now on, if the price drops again then we can buy back, but if the price goes up we still get a share. therefore don't wait to invest in the bullish season if you want to get bigger profits, because many events will invest waiting for the price to fall, but the price actually rises, and they rush to buy it, after buying it the price drops again.
144  Economy / Economics / Re: Fast Transportation Makes Economic Turnover Faster on: July 07, 2023, 06:16:15 AM
reminds me of infrastructure development in my country, where currently it is intensively building its transportation system and infrastructure, especially with large areas and with varied natural contours, a fast distribution system is needed. as an example for rural people who are majority farmers, with faster distribution, their agricultural produce does not rot until it reaches its destination, that way it will be able to reduce prices and of course the economy will run smoother, even for other goods, with easy transportation, the necessities of life for people village can easily be fulfilled at a low price
145  Economy / Economics / Re: Landed properties is the best investment on: July 07, 2023, 06:06:38 AM
mostly only rich people who can play in the property sector, at least have collateral that is safe from the loan amount, but many people are speculating looking for loans from banks to invest in property, of course knowledge is the main capital for that. but there are also many of them who actually lose money, because of wrong management and other factors. but once they succeed, they will become new rich people, of course, their business will increase along with the bank's trust. it's different if we invest in land, of course, let alone the price will go up by itself, but for now it requires a large amount of capital for that
146  Economy / Economics / Re: What's is daily budgets or expenses as a bitcoiner? on: July 07, 2023, 05:55:00 AM
I work on the 80/20 principle, where I hoard 80% of the coins I buy and spending 20% of it on food and services. I convert a certain amount of my salary to Bitcoin and then I do the split.

We all set aside a specific amount of our budget for "food" and entertainment.... so I just convert that to Bitcoin and use it at food stalls near my work to buy lunch. (A few of them accepts Bitcoin Lightning payments, so I am lucky)   Wink
in that way you will have assets that are always increasing, and of course with 20% for food and entertainment makes us learn to make ends meet not life's desires which will never end. if I myself the results from cryptocurrency are not yet able to fulfill my daily needs, but from real work I make it to meet the needs of life and the results from cryptocurrency I only use 10% to reward myself for example taking a vacation, and others return to invest at the right time
147  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Trade have types? on: July 06, 2023, 02:43:51 PM
People make a trade when they think it's confident to trade, and availability, of course its matter, if you have a small time for making a trade you can be scalpers - they are the people who make a profit with just a small price movement, if you have tons of time to make trade for example 3 hours average and make different positions you can make a short trades those are the at least hours price movements, next is the long term investors they are the one who bought and wait for the dip to accumulate as possible they can. At the end its all about the timing and proper execution to make a trade. People gain profit for being discipline and got loses because of getting greedy.
even short-term trading sometimes takes a long time, because basically trading we have to be patient waiting for prices to enter our buying area and then wait for prices to enter our target area. therefore even though using a small time frame sometimes one day it can happen to wait a long time for the price to enter our framework. It's different with long-term trading, where we already have the intention to hold for the long term, so we don't have to monitor the market too often and we can do other activities quietly, many people do both, in the hope of getting a daily income and a long-term return on investment
148  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Making a x10 or x100 by short selling on: July 06, 2023, 02:31:38 PM
Hi there is a lot of talk about finding opportunities to make a x10 or a x100.

But I think it is easier to make a x10 by selling short...any tips to get the best ROI possible by selling short?

How can I know which coins would have earned me x10 if I had sold short in the last few months?

People are good in position only for buy. Sometimes they are good at selling at short in the market, if you have knowledge in technical analysis and keep updated with the news related to the coin you want to trade there's always a better opportunity to take profit. For example one of the exchange have an issue for sure there's a chance that their coin will go down, and this is a good opportunity to make a position for selling and buy back when it comes to the dip of the market. Sometimes people hope they get instant millionaires how? by hunting a shitcoins small investments makes you get more profit instantly if the people keep buying and that's the time you make take profit. Grab the opportunity and be first than others.
there's nothing like it, though it's possible for someone with experience in looking at shitcoin projects to do it. but it's too risky if shitcoin suddenly disappears from the market. don't we also see quite a lot of hype shitcoins in the community and suddenly destroyed when they were just registered. be careful if you want to put our money in shitcoin. to be honest it's too risky even though we use small money. after all none of them could become rich in a very short time.
if we realize that shitcoin is too risky, and a little capital is also not wise, then if we have personal analysis and are interested in investing in new projects then what we can use is pocket money or fuel money, so even if we lose it we think we are snacking. I normally allocate this money aside from profits and it is really free money that we intend to snack on. that way it won't damage our psychology if it doesn't match expectations, because we know from the start the percentage for a big scam on this shitcoin

150  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: scalping Bitcoin vs. other assets on: May 27, 2023, 06:41:31 AM
It's not close to impossible to learn, it's just hard for plebs like us to profit from consistently because most probably plebs are under-capitalized which doesn't make it easier for risk management.

The other mistake is using a very low time frame like what you posted. Executing trades using a 5 - 15 minute time frame without a bot will just commit you to make mistakes, and from accumulated mistakes, it will eventually make you more emotional.
That is the main problem with scalping, scalping is execution heavy, meaning that unless you can apply whatever strategy you have created in a perfect manner and on the blink of an eye then there is no point on trying to trade in this way at all.

It is better that people start their journey as long term traders and then once they become successful they can transition to swing traders, this way they can minimize the number of trades they make while they give themselves a bigger margin of error when it comes to the execution of their trades.
scalping using a time frame below M15 is difficult to predict, due to wilder movements, at least using scalping, namely M15, for leverage trading, making transactions below M15 is not profitable because there is still a spread when we open a transaction. it is indeed difficult to do, but it is not impossible as long as we want to try, and if you have free time, scalping activities are very profitable and fun. indeed the profit taken is small, but you can make a large number of transactions, the smaller the time frame used, then we will see more opportunities
151  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Technical indicators vs the News on: May 27, 2023, 06:31:03 AM
Fundamental is first Most of Crypto, forex and Stock trader that I know from telegram, youtube, or trading view is always analyzed the news before they made a technical analysis.

and pretty much news is powerful that is why lot of people hate the Fud or FOMO news. because how no matter you are good at technical analysis with a bunch of indicators can still losses when there is big news sowed up. Take example with Mr. Jerome Powell of the Fed Raising interest rate all the market will shaken
Technical analysis will be broken if you get news that can shake the market. however, we can observe that it will stop at support or resistance that occurs, so it is safest to use technical analysis at normal times, so there will be more work, especially in forex we know the news schedule that can be seen on the forex factory, you have to be careful when news is red, often unexpected movements occur. whereas fomo and fud can also provide wild movements if many psychology is affected
152  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading not a get rich quick on: May 27, 2023, 06:20:14 AM
Many people who always have the thought that things with trading will improve and that from one day to the next or in a matter of weeks they will be rich is the worst lie they can also get, also a person who does not have a high financial education can lose much faster, there are occasions where the novices simply make a tag as if it were a bet and yes, they win, but they win by luck, this is something that should not be, because that luck can end at any time and it can stay with nothing, I have seen sad Cases where that happens to many.

There are many individuals who choose trading to change their financial situation. Maybe they get to know about quick profit by trading from other person which makes them decide to trade without thinking before and after trading. Because their goal is to change their financial situation by making a trading and earning a lot of profit in a few days. As a result, even if they don't have enough money at that time, they somehow manage that money and decide to trade, but when the real experience of trading comes in front of them, they understand that trading is not so easy. And if they trade at the wrong time, they suffer a lot financially during this period.
So if we have this idea that it is possible to get rich very quickly by trading then we have to come out of this idea.
what makes a lot of people wretched is the thought that by trading it will be easy to get rich. especially for beginners which still require a long process. they only see someone's success and someone's ease in trading, without wanting to know their struggles to be able to arrive at the current condition, and this is what makes many traders experience defeat. of those who made mistakes at the beginning, there are some who want to learn and improve themselves, but most people will find it difficult to survive in the market, because they feel like fraud, even though they themselves do not master it
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you give one reason why I should buy bitcoin? on: May 26, 2023, 06:33:12 AM
I don't think someone should be convincing you or anyone else to buy Bitcoin. If you're interested - do some research and make a decision if you're willing to take the risk.
exactly ,so if there comes a downside or losing there is no one to blame but yourself,
I keep asking why people let themselves enters investing from others when this is our money and our losses in case.
maybe what people need to understand is how this market flows and go , and not just the profit but the complete understanding of crypto market.
buy at your own risk and this is the motto what they need to stand for.
many of the new investors do not understand cryptocurrencies, so they entrust investment to other people with tempting offers. even though if they are already familiar with bitcoin then such a thing should not be done, as long as they want to learn I don't think it's ever too late to start. and if we still don't understand, I think buying bitcoin and holding it until you get a profit will be better, so that we actually know bitcoin investment is an investment that is not high risk
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My mistake was making my involvement with Bitcoin public on: May 26, 2023, 06:23:08 AM
Most of the asian household would probably think this way before. If I am on his shoes I would probably choose to stay silent since I am not that confident on what to come on the next generations, but for sure it will surely revolve in modern technology related to crypto and blockchain. Even if most of the elders nowadays deny that fact, it is argueably true that nowadays we are more inclined to technology that is not commonly welcome on most older generations.

I am also somehow on this similar situation in which most of my aunts and other family members who are professionals are pressuring me to not only follow their footsteps but to surpass them in terms of position and wealth, but the downside is that they want me to follow whatever they say
it's hard to do whatever other people say in order to take the same path as them, whereas nowadays it's a different era from the era they were triumphant in the past. the current era of technology demands that we keep up with the current developments. what you can do is find your own way to achieve success, and take something that can be used as a guide from parents for our walking base, at least the grid to achieve success will still be done, while the path is different because of the demands of technological developments
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to know a good bitcoin investors! on: May 26, 2023, 06:12:15 AM
For me, I will say all the points you raised are for a good investor and not only applies to Bitcoin alone but generally. A good Bitcoin investor will not panic sell any of his holdings and will plan to hold for a long term
The problem that must be avoided as a bitcoin investor is panic and impatience, because we have to admit that investing in bitcoin requires this. almost everything that is called an investment will certainly have a risk, as well as bitcoin. if the above can be done, all that remains is to hold and the time that needs to be prepared, so that you can get what you want from an investment.

Besides being patient, we must be able to take advantage of the season, during the bullrun season it would be better to sell it, because after that, of course, the bearish season will come, so if we keep holding on, we will have to wait for many more years. unless it has been planned for a long period of time in investing in bitcoin. the thing that often occurs is losses due to panic when prices fall so they prefer to sell it even though they are at a loss. therefore we must have knowledge about investment
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose altcoins you buy? on: May 25, 2023, 08:03:15 AM
I do between 2-5 hours of research on an asset before i buy or short it.
I used to spend more but i have what I'm looking for narrowed down a bit more than i did earlier in my crypto adventure.
Lots of focused reading and explorer-diving. I'm most concerned with how distributed supply is, the team behind the project and it's use cases.
I buy altcoins usually do an analysis first to determine the buying area. of course support is a reference for purchases. the support that occurs will be different in each time frame, so the larger the time frame, the less often we will find support, therefore an eye foresight is necessary. afterwards I'll split up a few PO at each support, and leave them untouched. sometimes only one or two PO are touched, but at least we will be calmer if up to 3 PO are touched
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is currently the best crypto to invest in? on: May 25, 2023, 07:52:50 AM
Bitcoin will be a better choice for you, because whenever the price of Bitcoin is rising in the market other cryptocurrencies price will be rising too for those that invested in the past to have hope of winning something big from their investment. But you need to be consistency in watching the market price so that when the price is low in the market you can embrace the opportunity to buy at the moment, and hold for future purpose which is the best strategy many potential investors used to sustain in profits making. I don't think, you will miss your reward, if you invest in Bitcoin and apply long term holding like 3 or 4 years before you can sell.
right, if we choose to invest in bitcoin then we are ready to hold it for the long term, at least many people believe in the four-year cycle, so by instilling thoughts like that at least it makes us calm when holding it in the middle of the road, where unwanted movements occur, don't let we panic. but the 4 year number is not an exact number, where a bull run could occur after more than 4 years, so we must be able to accept that risk, that's why using silent money to invest is very important
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think on: May 25, 2023, 07:43:42 AM
we can see that currently bitcoin is still moving in one area, and the price is still below $ 30k, that means for me the price is still worth investing in, and worrying that the price will fall again is humane, but to anticipate that, we must have a purchasing plan in advance gradually, so that if there is a crash again we can buy it again, or even we buy it for now and let it go, later it will also go up by itself, as long as we can be patient in waiting for it
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Doge worth investing? on: May 24, 2023, 02:55:30 AM
investing in meme coins like doge in my opinion is not worth it, it doesn't mean we shouldn't buy them, with a little capital and think the lottery is indeed better. therefore for long term investing it is better to choose a trusted coin, it is difficult to find a meme coin that will increase by thousands of percent, so don't be lured into gambling, because fund security is a top priority. it's different with bitcoin which can reliably pass the previous highest ath, but I'm not sure about doge
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Government's actions against crypto on: May 24, 2023, 02:45:31 AM
The US government and the cryptocurrency market are having a lot of ups and downs, and it seems like they're headed towards a very important conflict. This conflict will determine the fate of many people and companies involved in cryptocurrency. They might have to shut down or move to a different country.

This is not new this has been going on since Bitcoin came into existence but we are still winning, there's a lot of struggle but the community keeps holding on and many of those who are adopting Cryptocurrency are big people and this is what makes adoption easy, and this what makes the government action limited, especially to democratic countries, after ten years only the ultra communist and totalitarian countries are not yet adopting Cryptocurrency, but they will soon be.
Cryptocurrency users are increasing from various countries even though country regulations still prohibit the use of crypto, the important point is that any regulation cannot prohibit the right of people to choose to use kirpto and they will not be able to detect crypto users in that country, there are always ways to transact in crypto trading and even withdrawals with p2p, so the crypto community is getting bigger even though the government has not allowed the use of kirpto for any purpose.
it is this important point that keeps cryptocurrencies growing from time to time, even though the government has not allowed it. but unfortunately the government recommends KYC for local exchangers, and of course there is a tax that must be adhered to for state income. but even though experiencing the global economic crisis this did not seem to have a major impact on the development of cryptocurrency, instead more people took advantage of the price decline to invest
