It has been great to see the amount of Masternodes coming online even under the current circumstances.
We could use more KORE stakers and coins staking specially till we address the difficulty/etc issues.
Please support he KORE Network and the entire Ecosystem of KORE by staking as much KORE as you could.

MikeMike

I have most of my coins staking.  I have ~3000k on bittrex that I will get in my local wallet staking.

Incredible, thanks for your unwavering and massive support,...as always!

Cheers!

Ive had a few thousand coins staking for a couple days now, but after i re-synced the chain and changed some other stuff, I no longer have those coins listed as staked. Instead they are still under the available balance.  I know the light is unreliable, but is the amounts listed also unrelaible?

If the block you are on is more than 10 blocks behind.
One way to check is by the peers list in the debug page.
Click on the peer and on the right it will tell you what block that peer is on.
OR
If your balances are incorrect follow this procedure:
You can also run it just to make sure...

I'm current along with peers.  I do have some coins staking, just not what should be.  Is it possible they are actually staking, but still under available?

Yes.
Just leave them unlocked for staking

Here is a sneak peak at the new KORE Brochure...

Of course they will be full bleed/no white boarder...

Thanks mike. That worked,

But it says "Staking not active"

How do I make it active?  Just wait, and it will activate automatically after maturation of balance?

I looked at the wallet features and found (under the "main" tab):

"Amount of KORE to keep anonymized"

and "obfuscation rounds to use"

What are those, as well as the "Start Obfuscation/Try Mix/Reset" buttons for?

Sounds interesting.  I can see that it is not the multisend feature, rather something different?

The only other staking options I see is the "reserve" field, I take it that this means that once staking, coins need to cool off prior to sending them?

Thanks again for the noob tips, I will simplify for the noobs who follow in my noobsteps

The trick (in windows) is to install the Kore wallet twice (for a new install that you have an old wallet.dat already)

The first time to create the Kore folder

Then delete everything in it before placing your old wallet.dat inside

Then the second install recognizes it.

Thanks again

Unlock your wallet for staking only.
We will be getting into the Obfuscation/Anonymization of coins through the Masternodes in the future.
Is is like DASH since that is where we pulled the code and hopefully in the future add our own version.

Not "install twice"
But to "start the wallet twice"...

wow, such service!

thanks for the quick get back, but I have a question about importing the wallet.dat.

do i need install the new wallet over top of the old wallet to see my old kore balance, because I just loaded the new kore wallet on a fresh OS install, and switched the wallet.dat, and don't see the balance now that I'm synced.

any more tips maestro?

Bittrex Updated their KORE Wallet.
Transactions processing.

MikeMike

Finally got my transaction of 1500 kore couple hours ago.  2000 is staking. Might move all my kore for staking soon

Fantastic.
We appreciate you supporting the KORE Network and the Masternodes.
The KORE Stakers are the back bone of the KORE Projects.

very interesting and i look the thread also read until under or have done i did not look ICO information, why you have good and big project but you did not add ICO in your project, if you using it maybe this project many participant

We are not ruling that out just yet for future KORE Projects or may spin one or two of KORE features off.
First and foremost we must live up to our promises to get our original goals met and regain the trust.
Once that is completed We have more than enough in store to consider what we may.
One advantage of not being an ICO is that, KORE is FREE. Not restricted by all the ICO laws and bans.
This could have a huge positive effect as we dont know how things may play out.
Another fact is that many ICOs are on the ETH platform and if that goes down they all do.
This is too centralized for our consideration.

Hi,
I've been using the new KORE Wallet since its release and I notice there is no CPU mining selector as mentioned on the OP page.
Will this be added later so one can do proof of work as stated on the OP page?
Thanks.

No there won't be at this present time.
That was a change made so we could move forward with the Swap.

MikeMike

Hi MikeMike,

when was it mentioned that the Proof of work was not going to take place, as it doesn't appear to have been mentioned on the OP page, Twitter or Reddit?
I read an answer on the Kore Reddit page that there would be a proof of work phase here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/KORESurf/comments/76lpcu/kore_coin_and_projects/

Could you please elaborate on why the change was made to not have a PoW Phase?

Thanks for your help.

In an effort to make the PoW more fair to those wanting to mine we endeavored to
implement the AXIOM algo which was the plan all along.
In order to get the Swap completed we went with another, decreased the PoW blocks from 4,000 to 1,000
to speed the process and allow KORE to start out of the gate in full PoS eliminating
any assault on PoW that could have made things worse.
KORE found itself in a delicate place with new found enemies
who have made it very publicly clear their goals were to destroy KORE
and physically made efforts to do just that. Remember,... KORE had been in hibernation
a long time. the Network was just large enough "only recently" to be acceptable.
I noted in the details on the Swap that the specs were open to change and they did.

Hi just found this. Read the roadmap on the OP. Are you on track with it so far and are all items still going to be implemented or built?

Absolutely.
I/WE will not stop till they are all a reality.

Don't be butt hurt Mr MikeMike, without investors like me weither you like it or not Kore wont survive on the long run...I praised your dedication and efforts but let me bring to light the fact that multiple people called you a scammer and a crook, people doing their own research will find what I am talking about, the Kore coin was groing even without a lead dev and since you in it's alot of promesses and fail attempted to seduce the general opinion, I ain't got no feelings sir i just want return on investment and all your updates are cool but they are not making my wallet thicker...Deal with my kind of investors if you want to grow and become a worldwide force. Cheers!!!

Without investors like me you would not be here.
In case you had not noticed,
I'm not the one doing all the complaining and crying...
Feel free to dump your coins.

I have a queston regarding MN reward, it should be 40% of a block?

THen why is this formula used? (Number of coins staked * 0.0003) * .40 per block .

At the moment, reward seems very low if we take into account amount of masternodes, like 1-2 Kore per day.

It says that block time is 1 min, but feels more like 5-10 min.

Over 130% return in a year is low?!
A DASH Masternode is getting you about 8% to 9% per year.
The MN payouts are taken from the staking reward, minus the 10% to the dev fund.
The balance goes to the Stakers.

130% ROI? with 30 MN? that is nothing. If we get 1k MN, roi will be less than 0.5%.

Dash pays a flat 45% of a block to masternodes, not (Number of coins staked * 0.0003) * .40 per block.

If Dash had 30 MN, ROI would be several thousands atm.

with 4463 Masternodes, dash rewards 0.2 DASH per day or 7,3% ROI.

Kore with 100 MN would pay 0.3 Kore per day at the moment. If not less.

Please take a look for statistics here mnrank.com , this site lists masternode coins.

Point taken and has always been.
I have made it clear we are looking at the difficulty.
It is going to be awhile before we get to the Masternode number and we should have things
a bit closer where it should be by then. DASH is PoW. KORE is PoS.
Two totally different animals in how payouts are calculated.

So ENJOY! the awesome payouts!
Till we make them even better.

I have the new wallet and I successfully sent 1 kore from Bittrex to my wallet and received it then a few minutes I sent the rest and I have not received them this was over 5 hours ago. I opened up a ticket with them and they said the wallet hasn't synced in 1524 minutes.

I sent 1 test KORE 24 hours ago from Bittrex to my wallet and I am still waiting for it  Cheesy

I spoke to  MikeMike yesterday and he is aware of the issue and im sure he and the team are doing their best to get it sorted.

Yes we are doing our best to get it resolved.

MikeMike

I sent 1 kore from bittrex and received it. A bit later I sent the rest, 185 and change kore, it never showed up. I have a ticket open with Bittrex, but I think the chain has split. I hope this gets resolved soon. I thought I got a deal on some extra kore, but now it is worth less then half what I paid, again.

The chain has not split.
Some alt coins are down a few hundred % to a few thousand %
Take a chart from all the alts for the last 3 months.
Opacity KORE on top of it...

I'm getting a bit concerned about the comments on price price price...
If you feel you made a bad decision, make the call.
I'm doing everything on my end to make this right.
It might not align with your desires and time frame.

EDIT:
It is Awesome of Bittrex to be reinexing their KORE wallet when they can.
This is why your 1 KORE went through.

We are aware.
Working on the solution to the main issue.
The kore-qt -zapwallettxes
