cryptorank hat da anscheinend auch die Daten noch nicht aktualisiert.

Stimmt jetzt wieder.

Thanks for updating this thread continuously and I am glad that you ignored shitty exchange's IEOs! You may add Binance latest IEO information, which was the Band Protocol, the worst IEO by Binance.

Of course the BAND IEO wasn't a great performer.
But as long as you make 150$ per winning ticket profit, the people (including myself  Wink) will continue to participate.

For the Passwords section, please consider to add this topic, that is helpful and deserves your consideration.
[GUIDE] How to Create a Strong/Secure Password

The best way is to simply use the Keepass password generator and use a unique password for each service. Then you don't need any instructions on how to create a strong password.

KeePass is good password manager, but personally i'd prefer KeePassXC if you're linux or mac users.

If you are a Windows user, I would simply stick with the original Keepass.
To my knowledge the original is also the only one that supports plugins. (like OTP, QRCodeGenerator, Word Sequencer or stuff like that)
Here are all available plugins listed by the way: https://keepass.info/plugins.html

If you don't use Windows or several different operating systems KeepassXC should be preferred.

But using a Yubikey you can't mix Keepass and KeepassXC cause both use different encryption methods. (according to: https://keepassxc.org/docs/#faq-yubikey-incompatible)

Google’s quantum computer is allegedly more powerful than the world’s top supercomputers and the performance proves just that. The quantum computer completed a calculation in 3 minutes that would have taken IBM's Summit, the world's most powerful commercial computer, 10,000 years to complete.

Quantum computers are a threat for many blockchains, including BITCOIN.

1226  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is there a safe custom ROM with blockchain-based DApps? on: September 20, 2019, 06:08:35 PM
Ported Huh Means? Sorry, but I'm not too technical at least in this case.

Porting a ROM means that you modify the ROM of a device or in this case a custom ROM so that it can also run on a different device.
You cannot simply use any version of CarbonOS, the ROM must have been ported for your device before.

@aundroid, Which ROM fits the best and is similar to CarbonOS that I can install in Realme 2 Pro? Please also share a link to it. And do let me know that all these custom ROMs are based on which version of Android?

I would recommend you to just check out the link I mentioned in my last post.

There you will find all customROMs available for the Realme 2 Pro.

Sorted by number of views, those are the most popular for this device:

[source: https://forum.xda-developers.com/realme-2-pro/development?daysprune=-1&order=desc&sort=views]

Just have a look at the respective threads, go through the features, bugs and pictures and decide according to your personal preference.
1227  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is there a safe custom ROM with blockchain-based DApps? on: September 20, 2019, 03:18:43 PM
I came to know of a new issue with the phone after installing a custom ROM and that's screen-bleeding. Honestly, I don't really wish to mess with his smartphone and so, taking a lot of precautions before even trying to go ahead with the installation.

Have you read explicitly that the realme 2 pro with a custom ROM suffers from screen bleeding? Or does it concern a complete different smartphone with a specific ROM?

Does CarbonOS have that sort of issue or is anyone aware of anything else? If there are no such issues with that OS, can somebody help me with the steps in installing CarbonOS specifically in Realme 2 pro?

Can't find a CarbonOS for the Realme 2 pro in the xda forum. Do you have a link?

Or do you mean Oxygen OS?

Here you can find all ROMs, Custom Recoveries etc. for the Realme 2 pro by the way: https://forum.xda-developers.com/realme-2-pro/development
1228  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: "Blockchain-as-a-Service" does it worth to use? on: September 20, 2019, 12:03:36 PM
Where's the benefit in this case?

If we get back to the flow chart again, the point is that e.g. different companies work together (write) that do not trust each other.

That's the thing though, so far it seems like permissioned blockchains don't provide consensus, immutability and double-spending protection either. They provide the illusion of such.

You have a consortium consensus in permissioned blockchains, where a Tx is sent to pre-selected nodes and the consensus validates the Tx.

In a permissioned setting rewriting history becomes a mere executive decision.

That's true.

Don't get me wrong. I'm very curious to see where decentralized consensus can lead us beyond currencies. But I think the use cases in non-public and permissioned settings are extremely limited.

Let's just agree that the use cases of a permissioned blockchain are really very limited and there are enough alternatives available.  Smiley

Is Hyperledger a blockchain? Is then there a need for a blockchain, if it's centralized?

Hyperledger would be the Project and Hyperledger Fabric for example one of the blockchain frameworks.

Took take it further, is Bitcointalk forum then a blockchain? I'm confused.

Is it a distributed chain of data linked using cryptography?  Tongue
1229  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: "Blockchain-as-a-Service" does it worth to use? on: September 20, 2019, 07:32:49 AM
In its current state both "Public Permissioned Blockchain" and "Private Permissioned Blockchain" results could be replaced with "Git" and it would still

hold true. I mean that's pretty much how open source works (stored, verifiable versioning states; multiple writers, many of which are unknown, most of

which are untrusted; and one or more project maintainers that ensure code integrity but are not always online).

I totally get your point and I do agree with you that git and blockchains are similar in many ways.
Yet they differ for a number of reasons.
For example: git doesn't provide consensus, history can be re-written, it doesn't prevent double spending ...
Just to name a few.

We could also compare blockchains with other p2p databases, like distributed hash tables.
Every system has its benefits and drawbacks.

Why is everyone here always thinking that permissioned blockchains have no right to exist?
Hyperledger would be a good example here.

An append-only database. Why would companies want that, and if they truly did, how can they assure that their "private-centralized-blockchain-database" will be immutable, and secure from tampering? Cool

To persist/save state  Wink

Let's stick to the hyperledger example.
Here, immutability is ensured by the so-called ordering service.

1231  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: "Blockchain-as-a-Service" does it worth to use? on: September 19, 2019, 01:04:37 PM
franky1, then do the people who say that they need a "centralized, private blockchain", really do need a database?

I guess you mean "really do need a blockchain" ?

I usually like to refer to the following flow chart, which can be accessed via the IEEE digital library. (login/student credentials required)

[source: https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/8525392]

TTP stands for Trusted Third Party btw.

Is SWIFT a blockchain? Twitter? Facebook?

Well SWIFT is a system that simply pushes payment messages out, and that up to 24 million times a day.
It's also a very conservative system, with rather slow 'digital transformation'.

facebook and co. earn money with your data, so I don't think they will utilize blockchain technology in the near future.  Wink
But Decentralized Social Networks already continue to grow.

You can use steemit (on the steem blockchain) or bittube that allow you full ownership of your data.

1233  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is there a safe custom ROM with blockchain-based DApps? on: September 19, 2019, 07:21:09 AM

After installing the custom ROM, will all the features work properly or the phone may face issues with a fewer ones (based on your experience with custom UIs)?

I never had any problems using a Custom ROM in the past.
But I haven't had a customROM on my smartphone for quite some time.

For Huawei for example you need a bootloader unlock code which you have to buy from some dubious sources first.

One more question:
Is it possible to get back to the original stock ROM if the person decides not to use the installed custom ROM for any reasons?
And will the process be same like installing the stock ROM back or will it be something else?

anu1908 has already listed all the steps correctly.

TWRP is a Custom Recovery. How to Install TWRP on the Realme 2 pro

Depending on the manufacturer, flashing back to stock ROM can be a bit more difficult.
Usually no flashable stock roms are offered directly from the manufacturer. (OnePlus is the exception here I think)
That's why in most cases also stock ROMs are available in the xda developers forum.

Using TWRP, the process would be the same again:
- backup data
- boot in recovery
- wipe your phone
- install

But I never had an Oppo Smartphone, so I would recommend you to check out the xda developers forum BEFORE flashing the smartphone.

Here I found a tutorial that uses the Qualcomm Flash Image Loader to flash the stock firmware.
>> please use this tutorial at your own risk. I never had an oppo and never used this tutorial. There is always the danger of bricking your phone. <<
1234  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is there a safe custom ROM with blockchain-based DApps? on: September 18, 2019, 10:16:14 PM
Is it seriously safe for the smartphone if we change the Stock ROM with a newly installed custom ROM?

Does all the data remain safe and in the smartphone itself even after the installation of custom ROM?

You mean, "can we trust a custom ROM?"

All the ROMs are open source, so everyone can checkout the code.
Here for example is the repo of LineageOS , the CyanogenMod successor: https://github.com/LineageOS

So as long as you use a custom ROM from known XDA devs and take care to use the official download links, then I'd say - yes - you can trust them.

Here you can have a look at the most popular custom ROMs on XDA

And no, I've also never heard of any dApps on a custom ROM.

wie bucht bitpanda bei dir ab über kreditkarte?
oder geht auch so abbuchung?

Laut Bitpanda Support funktioniert der Sparplan nur mit Kreditkarte.
1238  Local / Anfänger und Hilfe / Re: Ledger Nano S Einsteiger on: September 18, 2019, 06:36:54 PM
