101  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: October 08, 2017, 10:25:02 PM
Global warning is very real and the impact is all over and it needs a lot more attention. With USA opting out of environmental conventions and protocol still slows the process but when you read about the likes of India adopting adapting green technology, you there is hope for our world
102  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Real friends. on: October 08, 2017, 10:21:04 PM
There is too much these days about people have friends as snakes disguise. Well let us take a moment appreciate the real friends. I bet people still have real friends, the ones who truly stand by them no matter what happens. We waste too much time complaining about the bad people we have in our life. Why not appreciate the ones who have been in our life as a blessing. I've been blessed with a whole bunch of real friends who support me no matter what. Are you also among the blessed ones?
Sometimes its very difficult to differentiate between good amd bad friends at the initial stages but with time, everything gets clear. You see your real friends
103  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why did he do it? (Stephen Paddock ) on: October 08, 2017, 10:17:55 PM
First I would say my condolences to the families of the victims,
hopefully, those families left behind given the fortitude, I'm sure the police are investigating this case thoroughly although Stephen Paddock has been shot dead.

I read from www.cnn.com news
http://edition.cnn.com/2017/10/06/us/unknowable-stephen-paddock-and-the-mystery-motive/index.html

Quote
Las VegasWhy did he do it?

Nearly a week after the worst mass shooting in modern US history, there's still no answer.
A shooter's reasons, however sick and twisted, usually become clear within a day or two. A suicide note, a manifesto, a series of social media screeds, a phone call -- even police reports and court dockets can provide insight into what drives a warped mind to commit such a violent act.
Usually, someone close knows something or realizes, in retrospect, that they missed the warning signs.
But 64-year-old Stephen C. Paddock flew low under the radar. He avoided interaction with many of the people around him, and his manner was direct and brusque. He was known to stay up all night gambling, but it was as if he was the only reveler at his own party.

when I heard this news I don't believe it happens, big country in Las Vegas the most crowded population in the United States of America.

The reason why he did it is still unclear but hearing coming up with conspiracy theories like the government sponsors an acting to make a case for the ban of guns and establish strong gun control acts is quiet disturbing. I just believe he was depressed from a situation and decided to take things into his own hands
104  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nobel Peace Prize winners issue warning about Trump on: October 08, 2017, 10:09:20 PM
You could at least post a summary of the news report or give a few sentences of your own opinion, it just looks like spam right now. You shouldn't need a reporter to understand that Trump is making the USA look much weaker around the world through all the lame actions he is taking.
Well thats a problem to deal with but Americans definitely knew what dey were voting for and they might have to ensure it for the next few years.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I did it! Traveling with Bitcoin and $100 only on: October 08, 2017, 09:53:23 PM
My journey started on Sep 21, from Boston to NYC, flight to Egypt then Turkey, back to Boston! Carrying $100 just in case and 3 bitcoins in my wallet!

Fuck If I will ever carry credit card, or cash any more:

1- I used Localbitcoins for cash! Search for best local currency rate!
2- How much I save from credit card fees and Fiat exchanges: $305.
3- Is it save to deal with Localbitcoins in person overseas? Yes, so amazing nice guys, you are making friends Smiley

You should try it! & $100 stayed with me! and I spent less than 1.9 btc in both countries!!!

Its sounds very interesting but quiet risky considering the chinese stands and south korean consideration of banning ico I dont know where btc will be void but it is possible in there somewhere. I will pove to know into details the places u visited and the currencies u traded in there
106  Economy / Speculation / Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years? on: October 08, 2017, 09:49:37 PM
bitcoin is five years time in my opinion there will be a lot of hard forks from the original bitcoin blockchain and the value of bitcoin would increase by 300 percent today's price. if transaction's speed and price remains the same, bitcoin's not improving and maybe the price wont grow that much
Five years is a lot of time and I believe there will be more coins in the system because s lot is yet to be mined and the value will keep increasing just as it does now. Probably $20000 i n the next five years for 1 btc is not a bad idea
107  Other / Off-topic / Re: The most STUPID coin ideas you 've heard on: October 06, 2017, 05:07:53 PM

108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do thousands of investors hold bitcoin on troubled days? on: October 06, 2017, 04:58:56 PM
Bitcoin has a huge demand among thousands of investors who dream of a non-cash future, and now they are investing in digital currency, not traditional means.
The first crypto currency has already turned early investors into millionaires, and tries to do everything possible, if only the many thousands of people radically changed their views on traditional markets and investments in general. Although those who use and support bitcoin still make up a smaller percentage of the world's population, in the millennial generation of investors, the number of young people who turn away from traditional financial empires is growing. If this trend continues, it could mean an absolute collapse of the banking system, as it continues to adhere to outdated algorithms. Until now, there is some way, until even the most seasoned investors are completely free of traditional banking and monetary institutions, but today they can already control their future in terms of investments. Since it is easier for them to manage their own savings plan by investing and reinvesting new technologies. Although they continue to deduct a certain percentage of the usual pension fund, and their accounts still have to be paid through a bank account, but investments in crypto-currencies have become for them a central part of savings.
There are those who will never trust bitcoin, when they hear china banning ICOs, Russia trying to in through the front, and i mean front door because the government is looking for ways to get in. South Korea and other big players also trying to advise their nationals of BTC. I have spoken to thousands of people and they tell me heeey the playing field is not level and people are not playing fair. So i hope to stay firm and make as much as i can from the crypo world and leave a proud human with my head raised up high
109  Other / Off-topic / Re: punishment for rapists on: October 06, 2017, 04:45:02 PM
Rapist must always be handed over to authorities to deal with but as you said there are parts of the world where some people or rapist are allowed to go free or even made to marry their victims. I think there are developments now and rape should not be seen as punishment as it was done primitive years ago. It will be great that the whole world stick together and fight this can-ca.
110  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever had the feeling that someone is controlling your life? on: October 06, 2017, 04:39:38 PM

112  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: October 06, 2017, 03:51:26 PM
The Bible is the best information we have. It is records, faithfully copied and handed down over thousands of years. The faithfulness of the Bible is shown by the Dead Sea Scrolls. The people who wrote the Bible did it because something miraculous was happening to them and in their lives. The Bible is the best record of the past that we have.

Neal Adams talks about and has made videos about the Pangea of the earth, and that the earth was divide over millions of years, into the continents that exist now. However, he doesn't have any factual basis for the time that he says it took. From Genesis 10:25
Quote
Two sons were born to Eber: One was named Peleg, because in his time the earth was divided; his brother was named Joktan.

Cool

Science is the best information we have, not something some people wrote in Constantinipole if the 4th century AD.

It's funny that people want to trust things written in a book by poorly educated superstitious tribal people thousands of years ago but they don't trust things in a book written by well educated people that are still alive and can be questioned.
It's funny only at first glance. Really not very funny that in today's world so many crazy people. I think that most people who say that believe in God just follow the fashion for faith in God.
You can choose to not believe in a God but that shouldnt give you the power to stop others from believing in God. the so unbelievers get into trouble and they start the name of good i guess that god they call is the thing air. So far as i dont have all the answers in this world i will believe and trust in God.
113  Other / Politics & Society / Re: do you believe in your government? on: October 06, 2017, 03:40:42 PM
Am from a very prominent nation on my continent and was of the biggest democracy because we ve moved through so many elections successfully and i cant have it anyother way. Not just the recent governemnt but all the governments we ve had are really good.
114  Other / Off-topic / Re: education and morality on: October 06, 2017, 03:34:51 PM
education without morality is very dangerous for the society. Educated people are more corrupted than illiterate in all over the world. so. this system of education has to be changed now. But there is a question , how it can be possible and which methods should be followed? Rule of law has an important influence on this but in some places this is not available. So in those countries morality can be the major influential power.
yes, Education without morality breeds corruption but interestingly most curriculum try to blend and input morality in all subjects. I was shaped by most of the moral lessons i recieved from my advance mathematics professor during my formative times. So guess we can do it both hands
115  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Impact of Technology to your health? on: October 06, 2017, 03:31:23 PM
Yes with your gaming example but the truth is you are not violent because of the games you play but your violent nature makes you choose.
116  Other / Off-topic / Re: Meaning of terrorist on: October 06, 2017, 03:28:34 PM
Any one who tries to make their voice heard by killing or insight others to kill or try to kill is a terrorist. Terrorism has no religious, racial, academic, triba and political callers.
117  Other / Politics & Society / Re: zionist jews celebrate las vegas mass shooting on: October 06, 2017, 03:26:20 PM
such news are very dangerous and insights violence. I believe there was another reason if these jews were celebrating. I cant get my head around the fact that people think so low of others. If we want to talk about hate read about the WWII

119  Other / Politics & Society / Re: They're planning a Universal Basic Income. on: October 06, 2017, 03:16:32 PM
you might have a point but if you look at some under developed areas in the world and you think about the basic salary idea you will realize it is not a bad idea at all at the moment. It helps to provide people with this income and they can build on it.
120  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people like Trump? on: October 06, 2017, 03:11:11 PM
First of all the question is not a yes or No question. I should be do you like Trump and then the reasons. I dont know him that much but if i wont to believe all i see in international media then i am going to so No but i ve studied a lot of international affairs and from my studies if the majority of over 160 million Americans he won the majority then there is something good in him. I love some of his ideas and i hate some of them too but he is The POTUS. Cant change that
