Using ripple for a crypto?
Well, i would definitely not put my foot in there. Ripple is not decentralized and has multiple different risks. I think it is a disastrous decision.

They told us in the telegram that they will show proof of 16 million dollars and a working demo before sales which is in second half of august last time i checked. So if they can provide the community these and the market turns to bull. I cant imagine the potential of vidy.
Exactly they promized a prove in about 14 days, but i am a bit disenchanted in crypto. Here a lot is alleged and little kept. "a lot is alleged and little kept" Sounds like a political campaign don't you think .. In the early days it use to be . Hey guys I have an idea would you back me up. Sure, now both ICO and investors are like. How do we get rich quick ? not saying vidy is the same. Just a response to your statement. Vidy if implemented has a very good business model, even youtube is running on ads network. In fact if you think about it, its actually very good I think majority of those people who wanted quick profits and no work have already quit crypto some time ago, the market is tough, the competition increases day by day. Vidy seems to have a lot of potential, but it really depends on the team how they gonna use it. Yeah, it is very harmful to the ecosystem. People don't care the projects or any development they just want to get 2x 3x 5x and left. They don't care how they get that profit.

Take a box of ice cream. Open a series. And cry when you eat that ice cream when watching that series. It may help

16 million is a very huge amount. I guess they don't even need an ICO after getting this much sum.
Well, you know, more is better Yes, more is better therefore they can make the development even faster than the plan. It will be good for a project to get more funds btw. Naturally every project will need as much funding as they could get for it will give them more freedom to focus on the platform development itself rather than worrying about generating funds which is quite difficult to gather these days. So a $16 million capital infusion is a great advantage to the project. Imho. More money means faster progress and makes things quicker. Maybe it is bad that market cap would be bigger but still, it means faster progress.

Hey everyone! Great news. Our affiliate bot for Telegram is finished! It has all the relevant info about our project, links, and multiple levels of earning commissions! We are proud of this as it runs very clean. Special thanks to Ian Scarffe and Oleg Chekan for making this a reality. In case you were wondering, commissions are paid in Ethereum!!!

Wow! Nice to see this telegram bot being realized and I hope it could help energize the ongoing marketing campaign for this project! Good job! Cool stuff, i'll give it a shot. Affiliate marketing can be a winner for an ICO project. Yeah, I think it is a good strategy to incentivize project supporters and it could potentially attract more investors to the project as well. People love referral earnings. This will bring more interest to the project. And payments are eth makes things way better.

Well, i hope they show that proof as soon as possible. I am sure lots of investors waiting to see this before investing.

Mostly a purpose and a deflation model.
If it has a good purpose and burns some % of the tokens all the times, it means a green light for me.

The vidy team seems competent and serious. I think it’s important‘ to have a competent team to handle the project’s development and deliver something in the end. And i like the fact that there is always someone to talk with the community here or on telegram.
yes, the team seems well matched and competent, the team is at the base of the project's success all start from here if they are good and perform their tasks as best as possible, the project can only be a winner... They look pretty active and have alredy collected $16 million according to their info. That two reasons prove that they know how to handle a project. Well let's see what they will show us regarding the 16 million. They said they will show us some proof before the sale starts. When and where did you say that? Last time i asked, nobody answered so probably missed that statement.

What do cryptocurrencies need, but haven't got yet? Mainstream adoption. Edit : oh darn, you already tackled that in your first post. Okay let me follow up then : they need an easy to use and easy to understand PayPal experience working decentralized model, that just works, is fast and extremely cheap in usage. They need time. Adoption is there but not mainstream. It takes time. At some point, we will be there. But as i said, it needs some time to get there, nothing else.

Vidy's community manager still here after but he's only post hold things so since pre-sale is 30+ days away, as I'm reading community manager posts, we'll see a MVP in three weeks / one month ? As long as it is before pre-sale, i am ok with it. This project will take some time to finish ico it seems. Some patient needed.

Recently, I see the breaking of wallets often happens, as they do, is a mystery to me, but I think you need to write to the administration, maybe it will somehow help you.
I don't think they are using very complicated methods. Just a phishing page or dns hack like etherdelta would be making hackers rich.

Good icos are hard to find.
I think it is better to invest in relatively new projects. Like their ico ended and their product on the way kind of. Sophiatx would be my choosing.

If you want to learn something about a project, whitepaper is the essence of it. And you should never invest anything before reading every line of it.

They seem not active here like they used to be.
In telegram, they are still very active but seems they started to ignore here.
I noticed that, they just left this thread, maybe because they think that they won't get much traction over here. I don't know if they're right or not, I only know that telegram is just a jungle it's not really a jungle, the admins are very active there and trying to help people. Yes they were very active and helping. But for some time, i haven't seen they did post anything.
