I think it is near impossible to have a clean thread in bitcointalk unless you have moderator options.
People are posting random things, posting facebook reports and etc. Well, it is good for upping the thread but it makes pollution.
If i have this kind of a thread in future i will open with mod options.
I think we've had a pretty decent thread as far as the amount of spam and fud. This remains to be one of the only organic threads in the whole forum. I agree with you. And even it is best, still, we have lots of "logo lovers" |

The scope of WONO is huge!
My concern is, maybe too big. Just taking on AirBnB or Uber alone would require Herculean effort, but to have the ambition to replace the whole model... that is truly ambitious!
I think this is the one of the biggest reason Why Wono is great. They are not focusing just one area, instead, they are going after similar but huge areas. Their ambition is remarkable. |

You will release a chrome add-on or something like that to receive tokens when a video is being watched? I imagine some interaction with metamask but the coolest thig would be Bancor to be able to instantly switch to Ether or other erc20 tokens

The projects which dont care about educating the investors are usually there to make a quick profit and earn some money for team..
Which surprises me... if you can make a much bigger buck by putting in some effort, time and love, building a real company instead of a slapdash job. Well, let WONO put that theory to the test. It is all about hype and fomo for these kinds of projects. But their success doesn't last. After the pump, they always disappoint their investors. Only projects like Wono, which spends time for educating their investors, ends up being something great. |

If you think about it, just a task system is not enough for this or any similar project to succeed. The kid gets a reward in the form of a token. Now what good is a token is the token cannot be spent? The partnerships mentioned in the URAllowance white paper are a good start. Kids will be able to spend their earned tokens at a diverse selection of crypto projects. But I see room for expansion. Crypto wallets and exchanges are hard to use, not just for kids but for adults too. It is such a pain to spend or exchange Ethereum tokens! That means URAllowance could kickstart a more user friendly market and infrastructure.
This can be a good next step for Urallowance. And with it, families can be sure what their children aren't buying anything malicious with their allowance. |

Wono is a very good example for the other icos out there. They are active here also posting regular updates on different social media accounts. They are showing good value to their community. |

When countries like India restricting the use of Banks with crypto exchanges, the potential for projects like WONO increases day by day. Also Wono will definitely decrease the hassle of finding something useful in some other country.
Is India restricting using banks for crypto exchanges? Damn, these governments never gonna learn. Maybe they can block banks but they can't block things like Wono. Yes, i also think, it would be safe to use Wono when you travel to another country as an established secure solution. |

I wish you guys good luck for your ICO but after looking at your website I think there should be an increase in funds coming in. I think this project deserves more people knowing it.
A big influx of funds in a short amount of time is probably really only achievable if you hire a well-known influencer. A congested ETH network doesn't help either. Eth network seems working properly right now. About a well-known influencer, they have David Drake. |

A little bit of responsibility goes a long way. Not only in the real world, but in the crypto world too. Are you planning on making an adult version?  IT's not a bad idea but do you really need a separate version for adults? I think we can do it with the current version. I imagine the kids version emphasizes financial education, parenting and discipline, whereas a hypothetical adult version functions as a combination of a job board, contract, task list and payment method. It could incorporate elements of the Pomodoro Technique as well as take a leaf from Fiverr's or Mechanical Turk's microtask book. Thanks for the updated information, now that i've read your vision i do agree that the platform would suite microtasks like Mechinacal Turk very well. I'm not very knowledgable regarding the pomodore technique. I thought they mentioned something about microtasks. If they don't and i remember wrong, still i think they would love to implement this. |

Nice observation. WONOworld is their community manager i think but he probably made an error when opening the thread. He sure edits that when he sees it. Kind of weird we are at page number 44 and no one noticed it before. So when you say he probably made an error, I am guessing he copied a template for an announcement post but did not check and update the links? Sloppy. I don't think it is sloppy. Everybody can make mistakes. I don't think anybody is using the link on btt ann thread to the website. At least i am googling Wono and going there with this method, even mostly using icobench to go there. I am sure he will edit it when he saw this messages. |
