801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEM] Semux - Official Thread - Free Airdrop on: November 10, 2018, 10:08:35 PM
Are there any plans to continue the signature campaign. Unfortunately I missed the first round and would be appreciate to get the chance to participate on a new give away round.

They said no more airdrops and only professional marketing from now on (discord discussion) so i don't expect any more signature campaign either. You should buy from exchanges, while it is still cheap.
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 📢[ANN] [ICO] - MenaPay - Crypto made easier than cash - PRIVATE SALE (LIVE) on: November 10, 2018, 03:04:39 PM
Right now its probably easer to start a project in middle east countries since the regulations are still not that strict there as they are in Europe or USA and you can prepare yourself with whats coming at you since you can compare to current situation of ICOs elsewhere.

You are partly right and partly not in my opinion. Yes, regulations are not that strict but also adoption is not that high compared to other regions. So you gain some and you lose some i think.

If that is the case, then I can say that in any crypto project, "decentralization ends when regulations starts".

As far as I understand DUSK are researching a way to have a hybrid approach, one that combines decentralization with regulatory necessities. Check this FAQ:

Dusk Foundation wants to work with regulators, yet it's building a privacy platform. These two cannot be reconciled - why would a regulator work with a platform that removes government surveillance power?
This is a misconception. In democratic societies, privacy is very well accepted and even enforced at legislative levels by policy makers. An example is the GDPR. Another is the SEC enforcing secrecy to trading bodies in the stock market to prevent price manipulation. The Dusk Network provides the same level of privacy enforced by regulators. Only, it eliminates the “trusted third party” and returns the power of disclosure directly to the user.

For instance, in the case of payment, it is the responsibility of the wallet holder to show the details of the transactions on request of the auditors (by providing a view-key). In the use case of security, compliant confidentiality is achieved with KYC built in the protocol and the use of zero knowledge accumulators to keep the whitelist confidential.

So as far as i understand is dusk network offering a regulated decentralized private network for sto's. Am i right?
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EHF eHealth First on: November 10, 2018, 09:12:36 AM

Dear all!

Pls find a brief info about the project progress below.

Currently, there are meetings with potential investors.

The task is to reach the soft cap and assure the project implementation until the alpha version of the eHealth First platform release.

By now 60% of soft cap for the Private Placement + Pre-ICO stage has been raised.

If you would like to support a great solution promoting health and longevity to everyone and invest in EHF at this stage getting high bonus, write to me at @nkryuchkov1 or nkryuchkov@ehfirst.io before the end of this year.

All the best!

Nikolay Kryuchkov

60% of the softcap .. ok so still some targets to meet.
Do you have any other updates?
A MVP or so ?

I don't think there is any more update.

And there is still some time for mvp. It was expecting in March 2019 as far as i remember.

I cannot believe electronic payments are so rarely used in the Middle-East and North-Africa. Is MenaPay really the first to take advantage of this gap in the market?

By meaning electronic payments, are you talking about cryptocurrency or credit/debit cards, bank transfer kinds of things?

Having any ICO for US residents is a tedious work at this moment. Lots of government agencies will be behind you to know the details of the investments you are getting and how much you really want to create a project.

There were some icos was accepting US residents last year. But nowadays didn't see any legit ico accepting them. So even dusk not a security token, i can easily understand why don't accept US residents like all other projects.

Finding original stuff and recognizing the team members on telegram is like finding download button in file upload websites. Lots of scammers in the name of team members and spamming the groups with nonsense things is also a headache..

If a supposed admin message you with a special offer and calling you "sir". You must know he is a scammer.

Actually, most of the scams from telegram are easily recognizable.

Meeting with potential investors. Actually, this is the only way works for funding right now. I hope you can convince investors. Also, %60 of the soft cap is a nice amount. I have utmost belief that you will reach soft cap.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EHF eHealth First on: November 08, 2018, 08:08:13 PM
February looks close enough, is going to be a perfecr time to buy cheap i guess since it's before the mvp  Cool

Are there any news at all about the mvp or how is proceeding?

I am not sure about that timeline.

Exchanges before ico in this market. If price drop, who will buy from ico?
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 📢[ANN] [ICO] - MenaPay - Crypto made easier than cash - PRIVATE SALE (LIVE) on: November 08, 2018, 08:07:08 PM
It seems they will back that pegged coin with the amount you spend to purchase.

Like 100 person give them 100.000$ total for 100.000 menacash and circulating supply is 100.000 token backing up with 100.000$. When you cash out like 20.000 of it, and the outcome is 80.000$ in the bank and 80.000 token circulating.

Makes me wonder why MenaPay is necessary. Would MenaCash alone not be enough to enable electronic payments?

Although I suppose when people collectively purchase over $25 million worth of MenaCash, they run in a liquidity crisis because there is not enough MenaCash. Maybe that is the reason for MenaPay.

They are raising money and in return share their income.

They need money for development and marketing. Without marketing, this project has no end.
813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Private-sale] |DUSK Network| Fast, Anonymous, Secure Transmission of Data! on: November 08, 2018, 08:05:41 PM

I also think so, if the sale is private, this does not mean that the team cannot voice the total raised amount. This will not violate the privacy of each investor.

At some point they have to disclose the amount sold because nobody else will buy not knowing how much has been raised before.

I don't think so. They have a great project and they already said they reached the soft cap. Also they are doing a private sale so they are probably telling private parties all details about the sale just not to everybody Smiley

I made a video for the project just to try this system. It shows huge potential actually.
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 📢[ANN] [ICO] - MenaPay - Crypto made easier than cash - PRIVATE SALE (LIVE) on: November 08, 2018, 08:03:58 AM
ok but how they will get MenaCash in the first place? If everyone will use it, ok, you won't need fiat anymore because there will be MenaCash only but do you think that the reality is like that?

I think the idea is to be like USDT, so users can exchange their tokens and coins for MenaCash to ... reduce their exposure to crypto asset volatility I suppose.

Am I right if i presume this will be exclusive to the following list of countries?

Algeria, Bahrain, Djibouti, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malta, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, West Bank and Gaza, and Yemen. Ethiopia and Sudan are sometimes included.

You mean on investing the ico or the using of their service? I think they are targeted, not exclusive.

Yes, why would they do an exclusive service, more country means more income. By the way, you should add Turkey to the country list because their team and most of their partners are based in Turkey even their head office located in Dubai.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 📢[ANN] [ICO] - MenaPay - Crypto made easier than cash - PRIVATE SALE (LIVE) on: November 07, 2018, 07:23:11 AM
I saw an article about Menapay in a very popular German Crypto Blog: https://altcoinspekulant.com/2018/11/05/menapay-eine-neue-und-mobile-bezahlmethode-fuer-die-mena-region/

It is nice that menapay starting to get recognized. If you don't know German like me, just translate it with google Smiley

At the end, the author mentions in his article that he sees one main risk for the project that it could be potentially political ban of the project. Can anyone explain me what he means with this?

Probably because the project will run on mostly Mena countries and they have a shaky history with legal system, the author may be nervous about if some government sees this and just decide to delete because of any little reason it disturbs them or even they can't understand what is going on and think about, lets ban this.

But for now, this countries never act on any crypto related things so it is a long shot.

They had a community manager, antipoff. But he is not posting anything since more than a week. Did he stop working for eHealth?

Wow he quitted so fast i guess? But ehealth team definitely need a hardworking community manager to gather around people in here and other social media platforms.

He had negative trust for account selling so maybe he was not seen as a good CM by his bosses.
i realy don't know why my trust is negative, i never sell of buy any accounts, i realy don't know what for to do this Smiley

They put an archive link with your trust. Yes, it seems you didn't buy or sell an account but you offered escrow services. It seems people give that trust to you think it is same. Still, i find trust system absurd.
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Private-sale] |DUSK Network| Fast, Anonymous, Secure Transmission of Data! on: November 07, 2018, 07:16:10 AM
To bad Ethfinex is not established yet and some people might have some problems trusting them in the beginning.

I am not so sure about that. Ethfinex is a side project of one of the biggest exchanges in the world, Bitfinex. Now people may have certain trust issues with Bitfinex but not because they are not established.

I agree with you about bitfinex/ethfinex. Also, the trust issues for Bitfinex was rooting because there was no audit about USD amount backing tether. They finally brought that up so that probably cleared most of the trust issues.

And i don't think they would let any project have a sale on ethfinex either. Only they would accept very promising ones like dusk network.
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EHF eHealth First on: November 06, 2018, 08:45:35 AM

Even though there is no news to post but they still can post something else just as a sign that they are still here with us. Answered someone else question is just as an example.

That can be annoying Smiley

Think about a community manager posting daily: "Today's update: there is none" every day Cheesy Still, you are right, they can post some little information weekly or even monthly.
