They told that they will give more details about Boinc algorithm. Did they already do and i missed it, or still waiting?
I'm also waiting for it, don't think they published anything about the algorithm just yet, however hope they will soon. They kept every promise so far and updated us more than any other project. I am sure they will publish something very soon. |

Is Dusk have a own blockchain? And is Dusk have a protocol masternode?
Yes Dusk will have own blockchain and it will have two type of nodes: (just quoting the community manager here) Network nodes - transactional network clients. They compete with each other by locking an arbitrary amount for the generating and proposing of new blocks. Block generation is a computationally light task and therefore running a node does not require neither specialised equipment nor storage. The intention is for normal mobile devices to be able to run as a node within the network. The non-deterministic nature of the bidding process makes it so that even nodes bidding the minimum amount of DUSK have a fair chance to win the block generation sortition lottery Provisioners - These are nodes that have committed a certain minimum stake to the Dusk Network and take care of more network intensive tasks such as block verification, voting, and notarization (VVN operations). These types of nodes are non-transactional The intention is to create an economy where nodes compete for block rewards, while Provisioners earn a steady ROI. I wonder how much do we need to spend on ico to make our own masternode and get passive income. |

I don't think competition is an issue even an opportunity.
They must perform their best to become a success. It is a big market and everyone can have its share. But competition drive them to perform better. Not a bad thing in my opinion.
For users competition is always good, but from a company's point of view it might be tough. But you're right, thanks to competition you always seek to develop your product, to improve it, so it's better and has more advantages than similar ones on the market. In our current time, competition is needed, but i can imagine a society in the future, where everyone wants to produce a product that is durable and easy to use, also without competition. This can only happen in closed markets and monopoly never works for user end, only the company take profit of it. |

Korea is a good place for a conference about crypto. the Koreans seem to be one of the most crypto interested people. Korean related project are mostly successful, so the people in there is very related to cryptoworld. Conference will be crowded for sure. That's an excellent opportunity to present both projects in Seoul. Hope we will get some updates after the conference. I'm definitely hoping that a major milestone will be achieved within this 4th Quarter of 2018. Such major development would surely energize the community. We are all hoping that in this quater the good things will come to cryptocurrency hence the hype will arise again and more people will benefit from it. I really wait for some bulls to come out from where they hiding. They dont hide, they have to find the crypto meadow. It is not so, that the big investors are waiting and hiding, the big investors, we awaiting for arent even aware of crypto. So it will need some time till the real big fishes get into crypto. This project will go on for years so you have years to wait for a bull market Actually, this is my new tactic right now. Get good project as much as you get and wait for the bull. Because this time, tokens with no real necessity won't pump like the last time. |

Only things ICO rating websites are good for are the overview of projects and general information about the project. The ratings themselves seem to be random if not bought or based on nonsense like the number of social media accounts.
I can't agree more. They have a little use as you said but they don't show anything about how good or bad the project is. |

I checked the whitepaper and the dusk.network website but couldn't find the token allocation, any price for tokens, hardcap, softcap etc.. what i have seen a thesis grade whitepaper, too scientific. maybe they should make an easy one.
I don't think they will have any problem regarding the soft cap. But still, it would be good to know the exact numbers. |

Any updates on the current status platform development? And also how was the private sale doing? I think Mauro has shared some information on how much they have sold so far a couple of pages ago. I also would like to know how the platform development is going on. In this theme community manager is very active, all updates about progress are always timely, in addition all questions have extended answers and it's great. I think after a bright victory in the Silicon Valley will be appear soon private large investors - who will want to get a piece of pie, and dev of course will report this. As far as I remember, one of the devs said that there were a bunch of investors interested in their project and that they expect more funding coming in in the next couple of months. If it's really like this, then everything is looking good. Yes they were talking some investors even some in silicon wallet. But this kind of deals takes time. I have utmost trust that they would raise enough money to run platform smoothly. |

Those rating sites suck. can't trust them not to be paid. Not saying that LA paid them though They are just good for seeing the token price after token hit the exchanges. Otherwise, i don't trust them even a little bit. |
