Hey,

Are you sure that you put your username correctly? There is no user as "krogot". And a null username is mining, which is probably you.
I see now, you have put wrong address for mining.

You need to put shared-pool's address which is bc1qeuupt2tgerfum8jclt8aklu9cdmzzkwml9lg7c.

So your username should be bc1qeuupt2tgerfum8jclt8aklu9cdmzzkwml9lg7c.krogot in that case.

the chance is so small that make no sence to display it. if someone will know what, than please use it on the known solochance calculator.

No time to implement it :-)

"weekChanceText":"1 in 7674 chance"

This is a way more chance than any lottery ticket we bought before. For me, it is extra important, most people believe lottery (as it is state monopoly) is corrupt in my country. This is fairest & luckiest lottery ticket ever.

Hello willi9974,

Can you add this to https://solorun.lima.zone/ dashboard?

https://api.solochance.org/getSoloChanceCalculations?currency=BTC&hashrate=74449&hashrateUnit=GH

Just put the hashrate that you show in the there, you already got it.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ICO] Change - The First Decentralysed Crypto Bank [ICO September 16th] on: February 28, 2024, 06:15:40 PM
Does anybody here has the whitepaper of this ICO?
I still have my CAG tokens and I want to check if they have done everything they promised

Hey,

I was in the team between 2019 and 2022.

Change achieved a lot of its promises but couldn't be a bank like stated in the ICO. It became a successful crypto broker platform, and later, they have added stocks, precious metals, CFDs and some others. I see it as a very succesful Robinhood clone for Europe. In that sense, they are doing great, I wish the best for the team.

On the other hand, about CAG, they couldn't keep their promises due to legal reasons. (It was like we want to be anarchists but our mothers did not let us to be. Cheesy) They needed to make a token swap, created a new token named CNG, which is not open to the blockchain. CNG was equity or equity-like structure for Change. Recently, they also killed CNG and give actual shares for CNG users on Funderbeam platform.

So, if you are still holding CAG, it is worthless right now. Until very last moment, even after token swap, even after Funderbeam shares available, CAG was marketted as "we will use it as a utility token" (it can be seen here: https://web.archive.org/web/20220330033405/https://www.changeinvest.com/investor), but they killed the token in last quarter review video, new CEO Marek said "there is no plan with CAG": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zhOYatr_Elg 24:04

Just know that, while I was in the team, I did everything to push any development related to CAG. Every time they ask to team "what should we build next", I always kept replying "something related with CAG, we have a promise to complete".

Don't get me wrong, I really trust them. It is what it is. Legally or financially or maybe business-wise, it wasn't possible to make CAG to the moon.

I keep my CAGs as memory of good old days.

Hello,

I really like solochance.com but it supports only Bitcoin, so I created its clone for Bitcoin & altcoins: SoloChance.org

For now it supports only Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Ravencoin and Monero. Definitely I commit to add more.

I hope you enjoy it.

Thank you.

About

After losing more than 2000 dollars on a hashpower rental service, I decided to see my actual chances while doing rental solo mining. I discovered solochance.com, but it supports only Bitcoin, but I needed to see my Bitcoin Cash & Monero chances, and created SoloChance.org.

Our member statistics: or click on the live view php page https://solorun.lima.zone/ (simple overview)
Maybe it is good idea not to show 7d>200G rows in red font when even they are inactive as they are eligible. It would be easier to track reward eligibility.

Edit: Or maybe you could create another column that shows eligibility, it would provide better clarity.

on the status page you can see all, but only in german, sorry. But with the browser todays time you can translate with one or two clicks.

https://solorun.lima.zone/

German: Anzahl der Worker für Payout mit Hashrate >= 200G in beiden Werten (5m und 7d)
Englisch: Number of workers for payout with hashrate >= 200G in both values (5m and 7d)

this is to prevent script children who temporarily redirect their miner to the pool via script in order to keep the hashrate artificially high with little effort.

if your miner is always online and has a technical problem for an hour during the blockfund, i will take this into account and you will be included in the payout. if i see that your miner is regularly offline, you are out.

Basic requirement for payment:
- the miner has been always active for the last 7 days (you can see this in the CKpool statistics)
- Miner must contain the forum member name
- Minimum hashrate per miner of 200 GHs in 7 days
- If a miner finds a block but not over 200 GHs in 7 days, he still gets the 10% bonus

Understood. Another new rule. I don't know how I sound but I hope you are getting me. I am just trying to collaborate and improve the process. I have put my miner online back.

After I saw that you have run nicehash, I thought that running a swarm of rentals and having a lot of rows that have >200G for 7 days was ok for eligibility.

"if i see that your miner is regularly offline, you are out." is not a measurable condition. Smiley

But ok, I understood. On weekend I will come with a solution to measure it and make it fair for everyone.

hello everyone,

for the compacf gekko science the frequency for me is 480 MH/z (originally 460 on the cgminer 4.12.1 software)

your gekko-compacf-freq 380.

my setting is 480 already increased to 500. depending on the key model it is necessary to mount in steps of 5 MH/z until it becomes unstable or the frequency is placed on a frequency below what was set.

my parameter on picture.

on the other hand, the higher the frequency, the more ventilation is required (it heats up enormously at more than 500 MH/z)
the higher the frequency, the more Current is required on the USB part (example for 460 1.6 to 1.8 A on 5.2 V // for 480 2 to 2.2 A on 5.2 V //
 for the max (350 gh/s you need 5 A per USB port)
be careful not all usb hubs provide this Amperage (my usb hub blocks at 2.4 A under 5.2 V) my usb hub is powered by 12 V for 10 A (120 W)
Thank you, I will experiment based on these.
Code:
[Unit]
Description=runs cgminer
After=network-online.target

[Service]
Type=simple
Restart=always
ExecStart=/home/rpi4/cgminer/cgminer --syslog --real-quiet -o stratum+tcp://solo.ckpool.org:3333 -u bc1qeuupt2tgerfum8jclt8aklu9cdmzzkwml9lg7c.mustafatufan_1 -p x --gekko-compacf-freq 460 --gekko-mine2 --gekko-start-freq 320 --gekko-tune-up 85 --gekko-tune2 60

[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target
Everything is same but with increased gekko-compacf-freq to 460, now it goes close to 300G, seems working. Thank you. I will try higher values after I make sure I have correct electrical setup.

Any participant with single GekkoScience Compac F, can you share your cgminer parameters? Mine does not exceed 250G most of the time, I wonder if I do something wrong.

You can use all. Important is the result Statistik from the Solo Pool.

Best regards,
Willi
I ask this because of following:

The setup is really interesting. When I read it, I instinctively optimised it in my mind. To get maximised result:

A miner should mine in your setup as long as to keep 7 day avarage higher than 200 GH/s. Anyone who higher than 200 GH/s for 7 days, basically gifting its hash power for others.

I would like to able to write a script that keeps my miner 201-202 GH/s 7 days average, and mine solo its own in other idle times.

Algorithm could work in one hour intervals.

Code:
10. Mine for shared for one hour.
20. Are you eligiable for reward? If yes goto 30, else goto 10.
30. Mine solo for one hour.
40. Goto 20.

In case of a block found
After a small survey, we have decided on the following distribution of rewards in the case of a block found.

- The user who found the block gets 10% extra
- The remaining 90% will be divided by the number of miners (devices / lines) from our table

Basic requirement for payment:
- the miner has been active for the last 7 days (you can see this in the CKpool statistics)
- Miner must contain the forum member name
- Minimum hashrate per miner of 200 GHs in 7 days
And what happens if a recently joined worker (less than 7 days) finds a block? Is it still eligible to get 10% extra or not?
Yes if the miner are not in 7 days over 200 GHs but find a block, the 10% Bonus is save.
Thanks for the Question!

Update: i update the rules on page one, to make that clear.

Best regards,
Willi
Another question then. Smiley

Is it possible to use 1.4 TH/s device one day in a week or 33 TH/s device one hour in a week? This would make 7 days avg. as 200 GH/s.

This is a really old netbook. Its hashpower is equal to around 15 Nerdminers.

And this is an old Android phone. It equals to around 100 Nerdminers with better efficiency.

Interesting how do you manage to connect these devices into this pool without an ASIC unit?

I have 3 broken old phones and 2 broken laptops that I bought for around 5$ each and I already fixed them and no one in my family wants to use them due to the versions are outdated and slow.
I might be lucky to mine a block reward if I run them for mining so what software or tools did you use? Do you have any guides that you can share?

Of course.

I am sure that you are aware the odds. There is a chance theoretically, but in practice, it is not possible mine. Still, I would bet that; in next 10 years, we will see a CPU mined block. Just for fun. I just put a message about it recently here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5462980.msg63465128#msg63465128

For old PC and Raspberry Pi, I installed Ubuntu Server and have setup cpuminer-multi. I followed this tutorial here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_M13MQQ5GPE&lc=UgxiSCocUAZooN-lFSh4AaABAg

Kudos to him, it is really good one, but I want to prepare a better one on weekend. I will post here if I prepare.

For Android phones, I used aaminer apk. So you need to enable installing apps from unknown source option and install this apk here. https://github.com/aa-miner/aaminer/blob/master/aaminer-1-50-release.apk

It is easy and pretty straightforward app. You just put pool url, address and select algorithm as Bitcoin, and press start mining button and that's it.

But use your own risk about this app. I really do not know what it contains really. Do factory reset the phone, enable guest wifi on your router and disable accessing your actual network in your router setting, connect guest wifi, do not login anything, directly install the app. So, in this way, it will be isolated in your network even if it does any harmful activity. According to Public Pool graphs, it does mining as expected.

About pools: CK Pool seems not accepting non ASIC miners. In logs, it shows as accepting but does not show low hash rate users in the website. This is why Public Pool is a better option for low hash rate mining. It shows all users without any minimum hash rate limit.
