81  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Openrig - The longest delivery process that has ever existed. warning on: April 08, 2014, 03:58:23 PM
Just a warning, if you want to get into the mining game quick forget about openrig frames..Ordered Early January and still waiting for the frame.. and this is apparently still within the delivery time frame. Stupid me just chose the cheaper option thinking there is no way a company will take more than 6 weeks from Day of order to deliver... well yes there is one (OPEN RIGS) What kind of company ESPECIALLY mining goods would have an option OTHER than pre-order that would take upto 4 months to deliver.... wow just wow, and Shame on me for rushing the order.

Dont make the same mistake I did...

Peace

I am still waiting from 12/23/13! I keep being told to just hold on....so I do...then it's "you chose the slow shipping at checkout" hahahaha! I have never ever imagined that it would take this long! Even if they walked and swam from Africa to me! This is ridiculous and I can only imagine the exchange process if it's broke or something. Oh well lesson learned.
82  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BeeMiner 1T BTC Miner official thread based on Bitmine A1 on: April 05, 2014, 10:43:28 PM

I would also want to know this.
83  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ntek 1.2th/s miner? on: April 05, 2014, 02:51:15 PM
Let me guess, your the owner of that Chinese made garbage?  Look through the threads, many customers of the NEW S2 ant miners are complaining of issues already regarding poor design and defects.  You'll also find complaints regarding faulty boards and poor components in the LKETC miners (aka DragonMiner).  Yes they are cheap and yes they are hashing away at this moment but I give each one of these miners a 2-3 month lifespan at the most.

Let me guess you're not the owner of an all American made miner? I can tell you this..almost all of the first asic miners came from china over a year ago and they're still hashing away. Avalon, ASICminer, and almost all of the chips for most other mining companies come from china. I agree it would be nice to support our great USA, but I'm not sure there is a reliable miner producer here? As far as the maker of the the miner mentioned in this thread..well they haven't produced a miner yet for the orders and even when/if they do it'll be made with chips from some far off land. So I'm not sure what you have against Chinese miners, but for the money I can buy 3th compared to the 1 supposed TH here.
84  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Gauging Interest in Group Buy for Grid Seed 1.1 on: April 05, 2014, 01:21:17 PM
Anyone interested if these were the prices.
Would need minimum orders for 50 miners to get these prices.

10 miners with accessories for 1980 USD
10 miners without accessories for 1800 USD
5 miners without accessories for 1000 USD

Update 1.0: Shipping included in pricing.

What is the 1.1? Is that a new version?
85  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN Batch#2] Gridseed hosted(or not) groupbuy 190$/unit or 150$ with hosting on: April 05, 2014, 12:50:32 AM
I believe you tracked him down to a college student in texas ? How is that going.

I am pretty sure he has bought a hacked account from an actual member that used to own that account. There are many selling these accounts now and we need to be more careful then ever. It is sad that we have to now forget what a members trust ratings are and how long theyve been here. Lessons learned.

88  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ntek 1.2th/s miner? on: April 05, 2014, 12:41:01 AM
I think everyone should purchase the cheap Chinese miners, because when those puppies burn out the difficulty level will drop tremendously.............

Haha! Right! Are you buying one of those super american made mythical Ntek miners?

I would just like to say that I am very happy that I saved money by directly sending btc  to pcifli and I received my miner and have been hash at 1.05 TH now for 48 plus hours with no issues. Very trustworthy member and also great equipment!
95  Economy / Services / Re: [Lee group]in stock, 3350$ and 3050$! dragon 1T miner shipped within 24 hours on: April 02, 2014, 10:28:36 PM
I am also wondering the same thing. If anyone has instructions on how to do this I would be very interested and thankful.

Anyone manage to overclock these safely? I have extra PSUs around to balance the power draw.
only the version with 5 blade has the possibility to over-clock and perform 1.1-1.2T hash rate, i am testing the img file these days and will let you know the result, but the engineer who develop the over-clock img file ask 200$ for this and you need register first to use the img file
[/quote]

So is the March 29th order the 4 or the 5 blade? I am not going to be around for a while to check.

97  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [530 TH] BitMinter.com [1% PPLNS,Pays TxFees + MergedMining,Stratum,GBT,vardiff] on: April 02, 2014, 05:00:16 PM
Overall Biminter is quite stable and the higher variance means we can have a real good luck run,

Yah, soon would be nice, seems to me we're wandering away from that yellow line a bit ... https://bitminter.com/stats/rewards
yeah bitminter is just a bit more fun then it used to be due to variance factors.

We should grab a block every 11 1/2 hours. Around 2.1 blocks a day

On the downside  cold streaks mean 30-50 hours without a block.  On the upside 3 blocks in a day is about +45%  and a 4 block day is double your money.

So I mine around 20 days in a row at btcguild. Then I come here for 5 or 6 days to test my 'variance'.

With 1.1th a 4 block day means about .2 btc vs .11btc for normal luck.  I know most say stay in one pool but I get bored thus the switching.

So are you saying you are getting less here at bitminter? I have recently decided to try mining at bitminter with one of my 1th machines and I feel like I am not receiving as much as at elgius..so I am not sure if I just need to be more patient or leave.
98  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: EMPBitcoin 2TH/s Miner - Escrow Only [No Preorder] on: April 02, 2014, 03:30:47 PM
So no info at all other than wait? How do you expect to earn any trust if you are being so evasive? This is not how to earn customers trust. I am very interested in buying and maybe spending thousands of dollars with you and you cannot upload a photo? Why not? No camera phone? Ok well let us know when you get them pics up.
99  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: EMPBitcoin 2TH/s Miner - Escrow Only [No Preorder] on: April 02, 2014, 12:51:08 PM
Is this another scam? I am soooooo sick of these...If this is indeed NOT a scam then PLEASE provide us with some kind of simple proof of these miners.
