Hi Soniq,

I've sent you a PM with my bitmessage address few days ago, however I have not received a confirmation or balance-sheet/update yet.

Thanks.

So 5 weeks back, min 4-5 before chip delivery for the first 10,000 chips. And the rest??

I knew it only 10k chips.

1064  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: June 18, 2013, 05:35:01 PM
It's not a matter of If they will deliver, but when can they deliver. And that depends on when they have placed their chip order and quantity. And the only conclusion I can draw, from the lack of proof, is they have placed the order very late and know they will not be able to deliver on the promised date, and given the price they are charging now. I doubt there is will be much of an ROI when it finally gets shipped.

I just called them and told them they should post their chip order number on the forum to help appease people's concerns. His response was, "I haven't looked at the forum. I'll look into it."   So lets hope for a chip order number here. They were getting slammed with phone calls and visitors yesterday when I visited. I can only imagine the volume of calls/emails/PM's he's getting. They only had two people in the office yesterday. They aren't setup to stay on top of a thread as active as this one.

Its not like yesterday and today were the first time we've asked for chip order confirmation. The request has simply been ignored.

You would think that terrahash could post one little update today after having taken in at LEAST $500,000.00 of your hard earned money so far!!!

They are too busy right now, somebody gota pop all them champagne corks.
1067  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: June 18, 2013, 05:15:07 PM
I got the feeling that folks from the early chip batch orders will be mining before TH can get the first unit out the door.

Also, I would like to petition the group for a vote on purchasing additional miners.

I Agree, and may I suggest k16s/Avalon clones. As soon as Avalon delivers the chips, the market will be flooded by K16/Avalon clones and given the competition, we might get good deal on bulk purchase and get the ball rolling on mining on a chance KNC doesn't deliver on time. Could be separate fund (pledge) at first and if it goes trough, convert it to shares, somehow.

Just trowing some ideas out there.  Smiley

And now we wait...

Soniq, thought about putting this on bitfunder/btct.co  ?
1072  Economy / Securities / Re: Why are people buying asic mining shares? are they insane? on: June 14, 2013, 05:32:23 PM
I think it's going to break BTC3.0 Tuesday night before dividends and then drop quite a bit back down. To maybe 2.7. Hardware sales have sold out so I assume the dividend should be reduced. Maybe in the 0.02X range.

I am good with 0.02X range. I went in at around 1.6 (now 3BTC) hoping for consistent .02 range. Needless to say, I've been pleased.  Cool
1073  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow's Avalon on: June 14, 2013, 04:25:29 PM
KNC is a scam because they will take the money and run off with it or they will use up all the invested funds and fail at producing an ASIC miner, or pull another BFL (semi scam)? Can you point to any red flags that led you to form that opinion of them?
Honest question.

Thanks

I'd rather spend the 99 coins "pre-ordering" 300GH/s from BFL, or 350+ GH/s from KNC.  or who knows how much power from anyone of the other open source designs.

KNC is a scam and we all know it.

1074  Economy / Securities / Re: Investing on: June 14, 2013, 04:16:07 PM
Why would you sell AM?  its gives the most bang for the buck.

I think Win.Avalon is a good buy right now, If Avalon delivers batch 3 within a month or 2.

Ragnazn has created an order form. He confirmed that for the address field we can simply state "Stumptown Miners" as the recipient and they will handle the details on their end.

In the address field, can I just state "Stumptown Miners"? Most likely that's where my chips will go for assembly. Not sure whats the exact address, you might want to work that out with ryepdx, since I am sure other people are planning to do the same.

Btw, nice form, defensively simplifies the process.

Thanks.

I got my shares today. Waiting for dividends now, should be 5btc per share.
1078  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] - Stumptown Miners - Avalon PCB Assembly - West Coast USA on: June 11, 2013, 04:19:38 PM
Placed the order. Will send the BTC in few hours.

Good job on the order form. Unfortunately I have chips coming to you from 2 different group-buys.
Hope they arrive at the same time. Also, where are you located, as I would prefer a local pickup.

Thanks, and good luck.

If there are any unpaid shares, I'll take them.
