101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the government ban bitcoin? on: March 10, 2018, 11:34:25 AM
Bitcoin has been announced since the day it was invented, and it will be suppressed by governments in the future and declared illegal currency. Is the basis, the further development of the currency will be in the interests of the threat to traditional monetary and ruler, not the rights to cryptography currency once governments announced that the currency is illegal, its price will produce volatile in the short term, and may even crash. At the same time, the government will force the bitcoin exchange to be shut down, so that bitcoin can only be sold in private, and its exchange capacity will be badly hit. Will the government ban bitcoin?
Governments only enacted laws to tax bitcoins. Governments will soon join the crypto market if they wantn't to be eliminated
I agree. You can not block the possibility of buying BTC. BTC gives you the opportunity to earn a lot of tax revenue. It would be strange if you did not have the opportunity to raise funds.

They  may not be able to block the possibillity of buying BTC. BUT, they can put in limitations to transfer Bitcoins into Fiat money. And up till now, we need to pay our bills still in fiat money. And ban is not equal ban. Regulations which are aimed to proctect the user can also already limit quite a lot the market.

Danke für diese tolle Arbeit. Auch von mir ein Merit. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, wieviele wirklich diese Tatsache kennen, bzw. die möglichen Implikationen verstanden haben.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC CEO Jay Clayton Ensures They Adhere with Securities Laws on: March 10, 2018, 08:23:16 AM
SEC believes cryptocurrencies are here to stay and wants to open dialogue with leaders in the space regarding regulation. Chairman Jay Clayton has asked ICOs and crypto companies to comply with a law saying they are watching them

Read more here: SEC CEO Jay Clayton Ensures

Definitely something to watch. I also believe, that more legalization will come into the crypto world. With concepts like from Polymath already teams are working on socalled security tokens. It will be interesting to see, how existing financial instituions will try to get their piece of cake in those market movements.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn $ 15.000 for two days? on: March 10, 2018, 08:18:57 AM
I've always wondered how people make big money without effort. I've heard that airdrops can help me with this, so found several channels with lists of airdrops. How do you think it is worth starting? Are there any pitfalls in this matter? Any advises?

Most of the airdrops nowadays worth nothing. If they distribute something, these coins are mostly worthless and have minor chances to reach really serious price. I'd advice you to consider joining some promising and interesting bounty campaigns instead.
Yes, indeed. Airdrop is no longer a good way to earn some free money. Bounty campaigns and signature campaigns running on bitcoin forum and quite good way of earning some extra money. Just keep posting good and constructive post with meaning full statement and increase your rank on bitcoin forum. Once you are above sr member, you can start earning some handsome amount of money just for posting some specific number of posts per week or per day and get paid in bitcoin or other crypto currencies.

I would not see it as black and white. There can be good/bad airdrops or good/bad bounty campaigns. More important is to select the right coins. Does the project address a real problem? What are the use cases? Who is driving the project? Is it a protocol on its own or is it based on an existing protocol? Legit profiles? Already some development done etc. Then you can decide, where you want to invest your time, which is the most valuable asset you can bring in.

Here some great news about Peculium. Obviously Peculium is visible for up to 7.2 Million passengers on EasyJet's flight magazine in March 2018! I really like this project, as it has a great use case and the team is working hard to further develop a working product.
106  Other / Serious discussion / Re: the 1031 Exchange law on: March 08, 2018, 08:38:20 PM
I thought in the US the law is, that crypto currencies are not regarded as the "same of a kind". This would mean, as soon as you do any exchange to another crypto currency (independant whether it is into Tether or any other crypto currency) you would need to declare your gains. In general I highly recommend to consult a tax expert related to this topic.
107  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimative Crypto-Token Blockchain Plattform. on: March 08, 2018, 08:44:25 AM
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Hadron--Keep Mining on: March 08, 2018, 08:21:30 AM
I am also mining. But it takes time for me, as it sometime stops, particularly during nights. Obviously as soon as there is any update of the operating system, it gets a hard stop and than it also means some effort to bring the computer back and running. Managed now about 400 in about 2,5 weeks.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to find new tokens on exchanges? on: March 06, 2018, 05:19:21 PM
Hello,

how can we find recently listed tokens on exchanges? Coinmarketcap isn`t so fast in listing all exchanges which have recently added a token or coin.

Normally I get informed by the exchanges. I joined also their telegrams and twitters.

Just wanted to share that mining works perfectly. I can mine with 2 tabs. Sometimes I need to kick it again, but it jumps on mining immediatly. Great to see already a working product. Most projects are still in their whitepaper phase.

112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: peculium on: March 04, 2018, 09:56:47 AM
Peculium needs to get on any bigger exchange to do better but it is just a start so can wait
for that to happen in a few months.

You are right. Another big step is that Pecullium also is on planning roadmap for the future Next Exchange. This is a great achievement. So an exited time ahead for all Pecullium token holders
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: What is happening with Kucoin? on: March 04, 2018, 09:27:32 AM
I have no problems with withdrawing. The etherscan link you are showing not sure it is their hot wallet. But in general most exchanges and particulary the serious ones pull coins into hardware wallets to reduce risks in case of hacks. So I am not surprised seeing those transfers going out.

115  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Kraken Now Open for Germany on: March 03, 2018, 07:12:08 PM

117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO Could Surpass Bitcoin By The Year 2019 on: March 02, 2018, 10:33:43 PM
The coin, which will make it finally easy for non crypto experts can surpass bitcoin. It is still too much effort to manage the storage of crypto currencies.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost 2/3 of my initial investment on: February 27, 2018, 08:19:48 AM
Sad to hear about your loses. And in days of declining markets it hits us all. But in general it seems you are jumping from one coin to the other coin. With this the exchanges makes money but not necessarily you. You should start to do your own research. If you look at the charts of most coins, Bitcoin was always outperforming. Just get some bitcoins and hodl them.

After all the shit I've been seeing lately with hardware wallets I think I'm going to just keep my 100% cold wallet setup in place. Hopefully hardware support will bring more attention to BTX though!
What happened to you concerning hardware wallet? For me still the best ways to store particularly for coins I want to hodl longterm. I also would like to see a hardware wallet for BTX. Does anyone know, whether this is planned?

I am so glad I still made it. After some weeks of waiting I got the email, and now I am part of the testers. Thanks so much for this opportunity.
