Hello there guys I am new here in bitcoin or cryptocurrency. I just want to ask what is the meaning of ICO? Is it something to do with the posting and the campaign?
It could be regarded like an IPO. It is a way for projects to collect some money to support their development and its marketing + management. But contrary to IPOs there are not a lot of regulations out, so you have a high risk to meet scammers, which will do nothing than just disapearing with your money. Therefore do your thourough research before you invest any money. Others are just distributing (airdropping) their coins, like Deeponion. |

Can't wait for Onions to take over the world  Can someone from mods confirm this is safe? Do not want to take risk if it is not allowed.. And how many coins per block is most effective for staking? Thanks There is a great youtube video out, which is explaining it also very nicely. Within this video the guy was bundeling his blocks to 250 coins each block. Whether it is safe I do not know. But as I have not enough coins to block something, I was not yet considering it. |

I think siacoin is the best altcoin under 1$ in which you can invest. The concept of decentralized cloud storage is a project which can become popular in future and hence you can expect good returns from it.
Do you know where can I buy this coin? which site? You can buy siacoin at bittrex for example. But before you do your investment, you should do your own investigations, so you know, in what kind of company you are investing your money. Read their whitepaper, join the community so you can see, whether they are in a stable environment. |

Congratulations! It is not too late. And with all potential it can have your wins get be huge. Just imaging when market caps are just get 20x in size, which can happen easily as soon as the "traditional" investors are discovering this market. Just make sure, you are not having weak hands. We most probably will see more dumps/pumps. So just follow the advise of Bill Gates, forget about them and look in a couple of years back.

Icos are not dead. China may even act as role model to support having more structured Icos in the future. Currently everybody can just develop their own coins and can scam other people. So it will even required to get trust levels higher and with this also in the future bigger investors into the crypto market.

It is not all altcoins crashing. But particular those ones, which function also as a basis for new start-ups like the Neo coin. Other coins are relatively still somehow ok. But overall Market cap went down from 175 to currently 147. So people in general move money into fiat. So time to buy cheap onions  |

And the debate continues. On the one corner, there are significant number of people who are really convinced that DeepOnion is a scam and on the other hand the community of DeepOnion is growing big. There is money for sure there. I think the amount reserved for DeepOnion for airdrops is really big that is why many people are really attracted to join.
I personally believe it is not only because the airdrop might be big. I believe in the technology. With the upcoming development of deepsend they put a huge mark in terms of anonymity and security for the crypto world. I guess the time will tell us, what will get delivered, as it is true for most of the other alt coins too. |

I am not sure yet about 2018 investments but my current vote is for following:
1) Bitcoin
2) Waves
3) DeepOnion
4) Lisk
5) Tezos (not yet on exchanges)
And if possible somewhen potentially Filecoin. But also this one is not yet on exchanges. I am also investigating on Civic, but have not yet my mind up yet.

But in general I also can just recommend to you, to work yourself through all the different white papers or products, so you actually know, in what you are planning to invest into. The other question, which you need to clarify for your self, do you want to speculate or do you want to invest (long term holding). I would also check-out deeoonions. They have been lately quite high, but now back to a reasonable price level for a potential bargain. The community is quite active and good new developments like deepsend is on its way. These are whom I called "the beggars". However, many got blacklisted by mistake which is proven by the fact that they have been un-blacklisted later. And others, like the one I've quoted in my first post, as far as I know are still blacklisted. So unjustice is being done. Which is bad, because unjustice just calls for even more unjustice. But not from one side only. And after a while everything gets just totally fucked up. It is true that accounts on bitcointalk before the 12th of July 2017 are not allowed to participate in the airdrop which common, however they are able as members of deeponion.org to earn the rewards and bounties.... Also in your post you admitted that some of the blacklisted members have been become allowed back in but that is due to the work level they did prior to this, whom were not not abiding to the rules of the deeponion airdrop, so they have to post 100 characters instead of 50 characters. The rule of the air drop are simple. No cheating and farmed account holders, etc. 10 post a week minimum 50 characters in support of deeponion in any of the main crypto ANN threads, hence not in off topic for the majority of the time.. Show me a member that is still blacklisted and i will tell you why just by looking at their post history here on bitcointalk.. Believe me i know what injustice is and you will find i am well-known by some who have been blacklisted in the past. I have support of those whom deserves it, however in most cases it was their signature or posting amount that was letting them down, yes small issues but these are the rule of the airdrop. I have to work for my onions, everyone else must put their fair share to help deeponion ...... go to the m... no i wont say that. GCforce, i also have to work hard for my onions and here is one member: it is me Gecko8, which got blacklisted for no reason. I followed strictly all rules made very carefully sure that I follow really ALL rules (post even more than 10 posts here and in the community forum with quality posts, helped others, did not change anything on my wallet, did not move one single coin! But I also got blacklisted. The only reason i could imaging is, that I got a new Bitcoinforum rank level to member on the 30st of august and updated my deeponion signature accordingly on the 30st of august. You should not only think in terms of the coins itself. Whether a coin shows a higher "value" on an exchange is currently also often just speculation. The real value is mainly depending on other more sustainable factors. For example what does the coin releasing project plan to solve as business problem and how they are planning to solve it. Certainly also the quality of the development team is important and last but not least, which (management) members are in the project / Start-up company. You can ask yourself the question, are those members already for quite some time in the respective market for example.

I also read your white papers couple of days back. But I am not 100% sure, whether I have really understood your concept. With the hidden biddings on a specific product you actually allow a manufacture of goods/services to define the "real" market value of a specific good. What happens, if the price is so low, that potential margin is not paying off production costs?
In the current market structures all the "middle man" contributing with their marketing efforts. Yes your approach leaves obviously those behind and and you as manufacture saves money by avoiding margin loses (disruptive industry). And those margin "loses" occur today, as you need to pay all the middle man (Manufacture to wholeseller, wholeseller to retailer retailer to endcustomer). But this you can have already through a simple online shop.
So what is actually the advantage for manufactures? The advantages for end-user is probably clear, as it provides the promise to get goods for a cheaper price. But the user story for manufactures is not really clear to me. And with that, how do you want convince manufactures to get on your platform?

I personally believe in DeepOnion. On the one hand side in terms of the technology, which is for me the basis. But also in terms of the community and the development activities I can witness through the community. In general I believe on projects, were insights are given into new developments and deepcoin is currently working on new developments like deepsend. Sure I carry their signature. But you can simply convince yourself just joining e.g. their deeponion forum.

Man kann nur hoffen, dass ich die Leute die jetzt nicht mehr dabei sind nicht ihre Onion frustiert auf den Markt werfen, da für die die 10% Regel ja nicht mehr gilt und damit eine Kettenreaktion auslösen. Insg. läuft das Projekt doch sehr gut auch wenn am Anfang viele Leute Angst hatten, dass der Dev sofort dumpen wird wenn der Coin mal an der Börse ist. Ich hoffen jedenfalls, dass die Entwicklung so weiter geht.
Das hoffe ich auch. Ich werde sie jedenfalls nicht verkaufen, obwohl ich unerwartet ein blacklisting bekommen habe für den letzten airdrop, obwohl ich alles richtig gemacht habe (signatur 2 Tage vor airdrop aktualisiert, weil mein Bitcoin talk rank geändert hat, keine Coins verkauft, meine posts gemacht; nichts an meiner wallet addresse geändert) Es ist ja im moment im review und ich hoffe das es sich schon klären wird. Dabei habe ich noch eine ganz andere Frage. Kann mir jemand sagen, was es genau mit dem Bitsend auf sich hat.
