81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Lost or Stolen Bitcoin, please advise on: March 26, 2018, 11:22:17 AM
I'm just new in here and just wanted to know is there a way to see if your coins had been lost or stolen?
thank you

In general you can allways check through any bitcoin scanner, whether there are coin movements on a certain bitcoin address. But make sure, you are not typing your private key into it. Just your puplic address.
82  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Wife wants half of my cryptos and wants me to sell half of all our holdings now. on: March 26, 2018, 10:52:02 AM
Since she didn't put any money into your investment, she can't force you to sell half of your crypto/portfolio. But if you don't want to argue anymore, sell few of your crypto (less than half), but claim that you've sold half of your crypto and use the money for safer investment such as Stock.
She shouldn't argue too hard afterwards Roll Eyes
Umm... Women problem, you should sell at least 25% of your crypto savings and give her the money that way you can have a peace of mind. The problem with women when it comes to money they lose their mind, and if you don't provide a quick solution by giving her some you're going to be in serious trouble. I believe by now, you've learned a very good lesson; which never shows all your investments to a woman because the majority of them only know how to spend not to invest for long-term. Cheesy

You seem to really know the women. As long as we have such arrogant machos in this world I am glad we also have smart woman on earth.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Alpenschilling - Come to the Alps | Lyra2Z | PoW | Smart Masternodes on: March 26, 2018, 09:24:26 AM
Do you have any (pre)negotiations with some skiing resorts in the alps?
From what I know, those people are not the...hmm.. most progressive guys Wink
I mean even to accept bitcoin payments is for most of them a frowning idea...

hey there,
we are talking to some contractors (skidata), and we know that most of these people are progressive  Wink

Everyone gets new feedback when contract is signed.

Thanks for your answer!

Alps

Looking forward to your negotiation with Skidata. This would be a great achievment, as this would open it to a lot of ski resorts. Would this then mean, that existing arrangements with e.g. Miles and More would be left out, or would this work in parallel?
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano ADA coin will growing very high must hold. on: March 26, 2018, 09:07:30 AM
I also believe in Cardanos future. It is a strong protocol. Also promising to see, that the mining eobot just took cardano on its list. For those not knowing Eobot here a ref link https://www.eobot.com/user/752577 or just take https://www.eobot.com
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance will settle in Malta and get access to FIATA!? on: March 26, 2018, 08:57:06 AM
The competition forces the exchanges to find new methods of customer acquisition. Placement of large number of different coins is already mandatory requirement for the successful exchange. The zero trade commissions already began the distribution among the decentralized exchanges. Binance will be followed by other large exchanges. I consider what to Binance this year will be legislator of new trends in the cryptomarket

This would be great news. I do see a good opportunity for exchanges coming to Malta. This obviously explains the price of binance coin over the weekend. Even it now also needed to accept a small drop.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Hadron Cloud A.I. Has Entered Alpha Mining on: March 26, 2018, 08:04:27 AM
Is there currently any way to obtain Hadron besides mining it?  Would love to see it on exchanges, and not a fan of the different tiers of mining but I do realize it's currently only in Alpha phase.

Mining is the main source for those coins. By signing up on their web page I have received 100 Hadron coins. Not sure, whether this is still the case. Hadron actually is keen on to deliver a working product before they get listed on any exchange. So this will take time and should happen somewhen later this year. Perhaps it even takes longer. Therefore I am very convinced about this project.
87  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Bitcoin - die zukünftige Entwicklung on: March 25, 2018, 08:20:13 AM

b) Bitcoin Adressen / Quantencomputer

thanks a lot particularly to shveicar. He was very patient with my wallet problem. At the end only the installation of the wallet on a different PC helped only, but we tried many things.   So if anyone has any problems, the slack channel is well organized of DMD. Highly to recommend

does anyone has an idea, what to do. My wallet is not synching anymore. I had a power or better said no internet connection for couple of hours. Now it does not synch anymore. Any tips welcomed as the telegram group of DMD seems to be disapeared.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which ecr20 wallet would you recommend on: March 21, 2018, 12:56:14 PM
Most have already mentioned Myetherwallet (MEW). But take care and do not use it by entering your Jason or Privat keys. Enter into it through Metamask. On youtube there are nice tutorials, how to link Metamask with your MEW. Than you are on the saver side.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Hackspace Capital - REAL COMPANY, REAL PROJECTS, REAL VALUE on: March 21, 2018, 12:47:52 PM
I voted for Bittrex and I am glad to see, this has the most preference. Looking forward to your exchange listing. Are there already any plans, when exchange listing will be conducted? Where could someone buy your token already, beside of the ICO?
92  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Legitimate exchanges on: March 21, 2018, 12:32:50 PM
Legitimate does not mean they will not eventually "scam" or get "hacked". Look at the two most recent suspensions in Japan. Both were perfectly legitimate, issued proper licenses and everything. But they still got compromised and as a result were forced to suspend activities. I think for me, if it comes to exchanges, I am now only going to use the ones that do not have a trading platform. Such as Localbitcoins. It is purely people buying and selling to each other, no pump and dump schemes, no hacks, because people do not store their coins there (not the way they do when they trade).

You have a point on that, actually some of the legitimate are scam but they are only few of them. So far, the good exchange platform which I think is really trusted for me was Bittrex, kucoin, coinbene and poloniex.

Yes, I also would add Poloniex. It is actually already a well-known exchange. Another one, which can be used is Kraken. But here I am a bit worried, because from time to time it cannot be accessed. But it allows also the exchange to fiat, but I have never tried.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hadron cloud on: March 20, 2018, 07:10:44 AM

"The first blockchain project harnessing the untapped power of billions of smartphones and PCs to power advanced artificial intelligence. Designed by artificial intelligence and crypto visionaries and run by successful serial entrepreneurs from Stanford and Berkeley, HADRON is an unprecedented application of blockchain and AI expertise."

Mine in your web browser:

We are aware of the fact that mining is pretty much centralized, meaning those who possess the best equipment get the best rewards, which is not fair. This platform will allow any pc or cellphone to mine proportionally.

By mining on this platform, we will actually do some meaningful computations that can prove beneficial to the humankind.

What do you think of this project? Share your thoughts.

https://hadron.cloud/whitepaper.html

I am actually one of the alpha tester. And it works very smoothly. Particularily the set-up was realy easy. So also for people, who have no clue at all about mining can participate. Unfortunately the slots for alpha mining are now closed. But they will initiate also a beta mining session soon. You can check also on their main Ann thread.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HADRON the new ELECTRONEUM? ALPHA MINING INFORMATION (+50.000 HADRON's/miner) on: March 19, 2018, 12:30:12 PM
After the great succes of Electroneum there is a new coin named Hadron.

Hadron is the first blockchain project harnessing the untapped power of billions of smartphones and PCs to power advanced artificial intelligence. Designed and run by successful serial entrepreneurs and scientists from Stanford, Harvard, and Berkeley, HADRON is an unprecedented application of blockchain and AI expertise.

This topic is made to inform you about the mining procedure of Hadron from a non Hadron.

One of the big tops of Hadron is that it can actually mine in your web browser.
Mining is actually running AI computations for HADRON.cloud customers. That means your browser will be running useful neural network computations instead of just a repetitive cryptographic hash puzzle. These computations are used for commerce and for worthy charitable causes. Potentially, some of these computations can benefit society, including detecting diseases like cancer in radiology imagery.

At the moment the Alpha mining has started. There will be multiple waves of testing, you can enter the alpha mining by registrating on their website.

Step 1: Reply on the Bitcointalk forum (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2142232.0) of Hadron your computer/phone OS version + browser to mine, also let us know what you think of Hadron!  Alpha miners will keep all coins earned. Basic computer details like CPU, RAM, GPU are helpful.

Step 2: Sign up for a dashboard account: https://hadron.cloud/dashboard

Step 3: Join our Telegram channel (and follow Twitter/FB to receive airdropped starter coins): https://t.me/joinchat/GahFuELlfJoWE1vsFQf3VQ

By signing in for an acount and eventually mining you will recieve HADRON coins. These coins you will keep till the token distribution when the tokens will be transfered to your wallet.

I hope that you guys are informed this way. I recommend to not wait for too long the alpha mining is almost done.

I was hoping that there is some comparison of both coins, and what works best. As I was only aware of Hadron and not of Electroneum, I did some research. And what I can say from a mining perspective Hadron is much, much easier to kick start the mining process. I do not have a good feeling to take off antivirus or what ever to enable the electroneum mining. I am by myself in the alpha testing of Hadron now without any risks.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUB1X| 🚀The Lowest Supply Masternode Coin🚀 | ZEROCOIN | 1000%+ APR on: March 19, 2018, 09:41:57 AM
I have the new wallet and it runs pretty well. I am also staking every day, but I still have only SUB1X coins in the wallet and no zSUB1X.
Can anyone please explain, if this is ok or how to get zSUB1X ?

Is there any descritpion of the wallet features ?

Please check your wallet. If it says zSub1x wallet you are fine. If you are still on a old Sub1x wallet you would need to install the zSub1x wallet. Then you would need to do the coin swap. But not sure, whether this is still possible. This only Willdono will be able to answer.
96  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: SEC, Bittrex und Co. on: March 17, 2018, 04:05:36 PM
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy a book about bitcoins on: March 15, 2018, 08:50:34 AM
One book, which is missing in the previous sides is from Julian Hosp. It is not only about Bitcoin but covering crypto currencies as such. It also provides some background information on how to deal with ICOs. Very interesting read. Can be found on Amazon.

Just want to share some update on mining. After the last week, where I needed to reload the miners a couple of times during the day it now works very smoothly. So obviously some updates have occured. Great work and existing beeing part of the alpha testing.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Bitcoin was born for nine years, what did Bitcoin change? on: March 12, 2018, 08:25:59 AM
Answer to your question is, that it made the underlying platform Blockchain known to a lot more people. What ever will happen to crypto currencies, the blockchain technology and also the next generations of it will survive. The concept of disruptiveness will change our world dramatically. And this we will see within the next 9 years.
