1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why GOV is not supporting the CRYPTOCURRENCY LIKE OTHER NEW TECHNOLOGY??? on: April 20, 2018, 09:26:23 PM
The reason they have little support simply has to do with control. Governments are set up to control people and Bitcoin was set up to be uncontrolled. Secondly it is hard to tax effectively and governments want their share.
2  Other / Serious discussion / Re: KYC Safe or Threat on: April 16, 2018, 05:38:56 PM
In my opinion KYC is generally a threat. There is really very little reason for it except a form of government control. It is not for our benefit in any way and does not help us to improve our lives. It simply puts us at risk and allows scammers another way to get your information. In saying this I understand why exchanges and banks require it but in an ICO it is just a restraint to small investors.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can FUD destroy bitcoin? on: April 16, 2018, 04:27:08 PM
The perception and how we look at Bitcoin as a group is the only thing that can really take down Bitcoin. So in a word yes Fud could destroy, however we all know that Bitcoin has a viable use case and is worthy of its place in society. Just be strong enough to follow what you already know and we will be fine.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most common uses of Bitcoin? on: April 14, 2018, 08:04:11 PM
The difficult part is not what Bitcoin can buy because the reality is it can be used to purchase anything. The difficult part is finding reputable businesses in willing to accept bitcoin. There are many sites purely set up to take your Bitcoin and never get the product you order. It is the sad reality.
5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are the reasons to support war? on: April 14, 2018, 07:47:50 PM
Well first of all you have to understand there are truly evil people in this world. It is true that war happens for a complexity of reasons including money, but never forget that leaders who are truly evil will not stop on their own so in order to protect those who are innocent victims war may be necessary. If you think this can be a totally utopian world you are kidding yourself. Evil exist.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can anyone suggest some altcoins to buy? on: April 13, 2018, 05:06:42 AM
For lower priced alts I would suggest ADA, TRX, XRP, ENG, and possibly Sub. Just do your own research and don't dwell in the Fud that follows every project.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU mining will die in 2018! on: April 13, 2018, 04:59:35 AM
I don't think it will completely die however your strategy I believe will have to be small startup coins and you will be basically gambling that the one you choose will take off. Otherwise you will loose money as cost will not be covered.
8  Other / Politics & Society / Re: TIME MACHINE! on: April 13, 2018, 04:54:20 AM
It would seem to me we have no idea weather time travel will occur in the future or not and if it does would any normal citizen have access to such information, probably not.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Telegram the new measure of ICO success? on: April 13, 2018, 04:19:24 AM
Telegram seems many times to be a place for people to complain and spread fud in my opinion. Unfortunately many ICO's have decided this is there first choice of communication. I for one hope these companies will soon find a more productive forum.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the Green Days back ? on: April 13, 2018, 04:13:59 AM
It is still very volatile so I would say there will be green days but still a fair share of red days as well.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should i do after buying bitcoin on: April 13, 2018, 04:09:23 AM
If I could only buy $20 I would take it an invest in a cheap top 20 altcoin such as ADA and TRX. As bitcoin goes up coins like that should increase in a greater degree. Then buy part back in Bitcoin and invest part in alts in order to possibly grow your wealth faster.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 years and no country has approved Bitcoin ?? on: April 13, 2018, 03:53:49 AM
I think a history lesson is in order. As it stands most would agree that the U.S. dollar is the closest thing to a recognized world currency but surely you realize this did not happen overnight. In the late 1700's the United States began minting silver and gold coins (at the time no one could imagine a currency that was not silver or gold). By the 1860's they implemented paper money backed by gold and silver. Well into the 1900's they became a world currency and in the 1970's were no longer backed by gold. If you are expecting change to arrive in 10 years you best think your grandchildren and great grandchildren. We would all like it to happen sooner and maybe it will to some degree but 10 years is nothing in terms of changing the world.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we continue to participate in aridrop projects? on: April 12, 2018, 10:30:52 PM
I think its fine to participate airdrops, after all it is free coins for usually minimal task. I choose not to participate in many of them now because the quality of the airdrops have decreased and the task have increased in my opinion. Also very few use this forum as a qualifying method so they really have little interest in knowledgeable investors, they would rather market to the masses which is their right.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ETH also a bubble like bitcoin? on: March 31, 2018, 11:49:57 PM
I think the premise of this question is faulty because you assume Bitcoin is a bubble and although Bitcoin is very volatile at this time you must realize there is a long track record. It has had big gains and big losses and in my opinion it will happen again.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Only 16.7 million Bitcoins in circulation? on: March 30, 2018, 10:53:38 PM
It is a relatively low number in order to promote the value of Bitcoin. That is if fear does not control emotions and limit its possibilities. The only thing that will really stop Bitcoin is the fear of the masses.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price < $3000 soon on: March 28, 2018, 09:33:18 AM
It seems to me that you are a graph timeline imposed to create that scenario. You could have just as easily used a longer timeline and shown completely different results. You may be right but at this time that graph is not nearly enough to prove that point.
17  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Tracking down stolen Bitcoins on: March 27, 2018, 07:10:54 AM
Remember asking for more regulation will always bring unintended consequences so I believe what you are asking for could possibly be put in to effect but the consequences of such an action would basically kill what is great about bitcoin in the first place. Never give up your freedom in order to attain complete security.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It could take 2 years for the market to recover on: March 27, 2018, 07:03:00 AM
Crypto moves so fast I think a two year recovery is not realistic. I think you will see a recovery this year but this market will continue to have swings and have another drop after recovery. Stabilization of this market may indeed be two or more years away.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is Bitcoin a pyramid scheme? on: March 27, 2018, 06:54:08 AM
Bitcoin is in no way a pyramid scheme as it is decentralized. In all pyramid schemes you have a core group that started and control the company. No one even knows the real identity of bitcoins creator.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding is bullshit? on: March 26, 2018, 06:11:41 AM
I disagree with the thought process here. 3 bad coins do not mean you should not hold. To me holding is about doing your research and holding 10 to 20 different coins slowly selling those that go up incrementally. To me even if you miss on a few you have to be awfully unlucky for a few to not hit you with big gains.
