Every single claim of this type brought against FortuneJack has been false AFAIK. Therefore, please provide evidence or close the thread.

But its heart breaking to see our policemen who act like paid rowdies from government who doesn't even show any mercy to women and kids while charging and beating them even when every protestant keep doing their protest in peaceful way.

The model of policing in India has always been exclusionary and oppressive since it is a colonial legacy till date, we have had multiple reforms suggested be it the Padmanabhaiah Committee on Police Reforms or the SC view in Prakash Singh Case.

Police acts as a fiefdom of the political party and imposes its ideology in their actions, hence the resulting action.

Also, no political party is ready to give police autonomy to act in consonance with the rules of the land; be it the BJP, Congress or even Left govt in Kerala.

U can mail them on the platform itself

Edit: Done with the quiz Grin
Updated the form.
No more email addresses. Fill in your bitcointalk account name in the form.
Please take the quiz again and leave your feedback here.

Really enlightened after the quiz, also eagerly waiting for the answers. A small criticism that I wud make is that the quiz tended to be on the nerdy side. Wish we cud add some fun trivia too, like a question on Slaying of the BTC whale art.

Also slangs such as HODL and der origin  Grin

Just a few suggestions from my side.

I LOVEEEEE quizzes, when do we start ??

Also can we have real time quiz on some site or TG channel ??
I was gonna post the link to the quiz this morning but there is a powercut since this morning and hence I am not able to operate my PC. I will do it this evening assuming the powercut is over by that time.

Real time quiz is a good idea but would good number of active people in the forum/telegram group.
We can have a discussion on this topic some time later and lets see where he conclusion leads us.

If u want, I can help u with the quizzes on nearly any topic.
I have been an avid quizzer and quiz master in a professional capacity for a limited time period too.

267  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: [Indian Edition] How did you come up with your username? on: February 23, 2020, 06:13:01 AM
A lot of ppl tend to assume that I'm a Muslim given that my username starts with Allah, but it is not so.

I was born in Allahabad, the city which the Islamophobic govt of current day has renamed to Prayagraj. Allahabad meant the abode of Allah, but irrespective of whichever religion one belonged to, we loved to refer ourselves as Allahabadi (the residents of Allahabad). It is a distinct dialect and we love to act out. Hence I named my user account as such.

But funnily enuff it has drawn lot of Islamophobic and radical Islamic remarks to my account too, Islamophobic are the usual RW ones while a couple of Muslims from Indo-Malay once questioned me at to why I fashioned my username after Allah and no human shud use it as his name, but then I explained to them what it meant, after which they didn't question me again.
268  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: Citizenship Amendment Bill and NRC - Good or bad for India? on: February 23, 2020, 05:59:00 AM
EVMs cannot be hacked under the current system, I know ppl who handle them during the elections. The only thing possible is proxy voting, i.e. putting in votes for ppl who were absent from the booth.

Apart from this let me state, BJP is simply using the policy of Divisiveness to further it's agenda of a narrow North Indian Brahmin Manuvadi Hindu Rashtra... It's not even inclusive for Hindus of all shades...

CAA is a discriminatory law, I do not oppose the basis on which it stands, but I do oppose the current form (similarly I do not oppose reservations, but I do oppose the current form; even EWS is flawed), NRC will be a totally useless exercise which will push millions to the brink of abject poverty and statelessness. I do not agree with the individuals who posted stating that we shud not protest the laws, but wait for Supreme Court. I disagree; the SC has proved time and again that when asked to Bow, the Judges crawl.

WE SHUD PROTEST PEACEFULLY BUT VEHEMENTLY AGAINST INJUSTICE IN ALL FORMS.

P.S. It is heartening to see that our fellow Muslims are protesting in a secular constitutional way and not relying on Maulvis and Fatwas to lead the way.  Smiley

I wrote this for someone... After going through the various shayaris and nazms posted here, felt like sharing:

काश मैं तुम्हे कुछ कह पाता,
लेकिन खैर कुछ बातें अनकही ही सही।

काश तुम उन्हें सुन पाती ,
लेकिन शायद जो न सुना वो ज़्यादा बेहतर।

बस उम्मीद करता हूँ ,
जिससे सुनो उसे इस बात की कद्र रहे ;

बस जैसी भी रहो, खुश रहो;

एक नासमझी का सैलाब सा उमर उठता है;

EDIT: Wud love to hear your comments and take on this.

But the team should give us reports and so.

The team report shows that our investment valuation has increased by 40 times.

Which report r u talking abt?

The table shows that $ 5 million of ICO funds have invested in 60+ startups with a valuation of about $ 270 million

google.com/file/d/1mJI1VG1KutHS1AAMg3GoL2SCAI6wHp3a/view?usp=sharing

But our share isn't 40 times, it is still 5 million $

P.S.  In the recent spirit of forgiveness, please apologize for claiming I was pedophile.  Unless you still want people to believe that I am?

If it comes to pass, guess this wud be the first genuine use of this spirit of forgiveness. Unsubstantiated hyperbole shud be withdrawn.  Smiley
279  Economy / Reputation / Re: Trust System Abuse By TMAN on: February 17, 2020, 05:09:40 AM
Just a word

I was a trading noob once and wud heavily trust any red digit.
Can't speak for others.

I might hv laughed at a few Red Trusts; but wudn't hv traded with the person who got it.

EDIT: Infact, if I wud hv seen the non-red neutral trust of any DT1 decrying an individual; like the one Lauda put on my; I wudn't hv traded even then.
280  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Cult of Lauda] An historic peace: Rome’s treaty with Carthage on: February 17, 2020, 05:05:18 AM
You're both wrong.  Libertarianism would be the complete lack of a trust system, everyone fending for themselves and doing their own research, caveat emptor.  A pure democracy would leave theymos as the only DT1 member.  We have 100 representatives (DT1) all with differing number of votes, from a wide variety of voters.  It's much closer to a representative democratic republic than either of you are crediting.

I agree with the view on Libertarianism, but fail to understand how a pure democracy wud leave theymos as the only DT1 member?
Also the current DT1 is representative democracy and if you take into account the laddered DT2 and DT3; then IMHO it looks like a Preferential Voting Democracy.

The trust system doesn't prevent anyone from fending for themselves and doing their own research. DT is optional. Trust lists are optional. If someone wants to go full Amish they can just wipe their trust list and have at it.
Although, it is True that the Trust system doesn't prevent anyone from researching for themselves; but it cannot be denied it does provide a semblance of security for dealers on the forum, especially noobs. Thus, to relegate it to a position of utmost irrelevance would be quite a misnomer IMHO. The Trust system is broken and beyond repair as long as we are unable to deny the human element in its assertion (which can't be denied). So, at the end of the day it is To Each His Own.
