61  Local / India / Re: Top Cryptocurrency Exchanges in India. on: October 12, 2020, 03:33:17 AM
I'm using Bitbns exchange from 2018 & I think Bitbns exchange is not bad but there bank withdrawal fees much more compere to the WazirX. WazirX exchange is also good but coindcx is one of the bad exchange  in india, because this exchange have a big security flop & i think there users funds are not safe.

So my personal advice is don't use coindcx exchange
Bitbns isn't bad per se, but their BNS token shenanigans were a tad bit too much to handle, so I stay away from their products as such.
WazirX without is a good one, especially after that binance partnership stuff.
CoinDCX has had a few issues, but that's why they brought in that insurance and I'm not aware of many issues in recent past.

But then it's your money, so choose wisely.
62  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: September/October Your Trading Edge magazine "Currency Corner" on: October 12, 2020, 03:23:11 AM
Whenever I see a Goldman Sach or JP Morgan guy writing about crypto currency, it makes me a bit uncomfy. I sincerely think they are the biggest hypocrites in this space.

But anyways mass adoption might be pushed a bit more if people related to mainstream media discuss crypto in a positive light.
63  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Speed Of Light May Soon Be Possible Through A New Thruster on: October 12, 2020, 03:20:03 AM
There we go again, another one of mumbo-jumbo science, dude seriously are you trolling on a mass level or are you sincere in your efforts to probe these unscientific or pseudoscientific nonsense.

On a very serious note, traveling at or even close to speed of light can have huge implications and I won't believe for a second that any organisation or nation capable of doing it would have not tried it.
64  Local / India / Re: Thoughts and Suggestions on unofficial rules being followed in Indian board on: October 08, 2020, 12:37:29 PM
I sincerely think the first and foremost thing is that theymos should appoint an Indian board moderator. It has been without one for very long, I remember Joel has asked for one looking long ago. I think Heisenberg should ask again, start a thread in meta on the issue.

Cause only then can we hope to bring better order to this place.

Bhai ye itne aasani se nahi koi keh skta hai ki BTC kitne tak jayega...

Aap agar recent time mein dekhein toh BTC sideways hi raha hai mostly; American President election tak mujhe nahi lag rha hai ki price zyada upar jayega BTC ka...

Also aap aise randomly sawaal puchke investment mat kia kro, kyonki ye risky hai aur aapka paisa doob skta hai iss tarah se.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Guide Me About ERC-20 to BEP-2 Migration ! What’s the Difference between !! on: October 08, 2020, 12:26:31 PM
I saw many Projects they are changing their Blockchain Platform From ERC20 to BEP-2 Platform I think maybe it's changing for High Gas fees at current situation that's why.
I find All over but not seeing any perfect answer about this Questions Please let me know Properly Guys

1- What’s the Difference between BEP-2 and ERC-20?
2- How BEP20 works
3- For High Gas Fees They doing this?
4- BEP-2 address also similar as ERC20 Address why?

I would like to point out that there are two BEP standards BEP2 and BEP20.

I think you are asking about the Binance smart chain BEP20 standard which can be run like Ethereum; while BEP2 is slightly different.
67  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Rather learn to trade by yourself on: October 08, 2020, 12:14:15 PM
Did you recently lose money by trusting someone in this market? Hence the rant, I can totally understand where this is coming from.
But how do you propose to teach yourself, or what's the guarantee you won't lose more money by punting it yourself.

Anyways my best wishes for your trading. Just don't overleverage or get too emotional.
68  Local / Press & News from India / Re: Crypto Ban in India on: October 06, 2020, 01:38:04 PM
I don't think the govt will wait for elections to ban crypto IF they are hellbent on banning it.

Elections won't have an effect as the crypto community is a small one and it's easy to paint crypto users as a bunch of debauched individuals buying drugs and evading taxes and such.

So the govt can even spin it to its advantage.
69  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: ??? What's the best way to receive small payment in India(online foreign)? on: October 06, 2020, 01:33:27 PM
Don't trust anyone without multiple verification, PayPal can be used or you can even accept payment in USDT trc20 which has low fees.

If u are based in India, you can use Paytm too.
70  Local / India / Re: [INDEPENDENCE DAY RAFFLE] #7 - Pick a lucky number and win 0.001 bitcoin on: October 06, 2020, 05:15:21 AM
~ shitty INR etc.

Prior to 2016, I would hv disagreed with you; primarily cause of the faith I have in the working parameters of the RBI and not the govt. However a bunch of recent actions have cast aspersions on their working and capability.

Sadly confidence in the govt has been in the downturn for long and seems to be so in coming future as well.
71  Local / India / Re: Double Spending vs Rebroadcasting a transaction on: October 06, 2020, 05:11:45 AM
Pawan, the other user is absolutely correct, rebroadcast simply stands for like shouting again your information out to someone in case they were unable to hear it earlier; while double spending means you shouted a different information the second time cause of fear that they ignored you after hearing the first time as the information want to their liking.

Suppose in an auction u shouted a bet of 100$ and the auctioneer didn't hear, then you shouted 100$ again, that's rebroadcast; but if someone shouted 105$ and now u shouted 110$, that's double spend.

These are crude examples, but hope they are clear.
72  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily Bitcoin and Crypto trading update on: October 06, 2020, 05:02:06 AM
I really liked the way you have tried to interlink the US presidential elections to crypto markets and tried to make it easy to understand even for laymen.
That's a commendable effort, although I wish to see some more technical aspects analysed as well in your future posts.
73  Local / India / Re: Top Cryptocurrency Exchanges in India. on: October 05, 2020, 09:08:36 AM
From all this list, I have heard and use only Wazirx. It is strange that the author mentioned this entire list, I do not think that these exchanges are popular

I'm very surprised again, CoinDCX and bitbns are quite famous.
Infact bitbns even advertised in newspapers if I'm not wrong. They even had some IEO of sorts and has a huge userbase, although wazirx has overtaken now I think.

But always beware while using any site.
74  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Quickly double trx token on: October 05, 2020, 09:06:09 AM
I dunno why or how ppl fall for ponzis so often. Are they truly so gullible?

I often thought that those who use crypto must much more smarter than the average Joe, but alas it appears that the same crowd is present everywhere.

🙄🙄
75  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily Bitcoin and Crypto trading update on: October 05, 2020, 09:03:07 AM
I am starting a thread that will include as the title indicates. A daily Bitcoin and traders update.

76  Local / Alt Coins (India) / Re: CHF dfinity airdrop claim on: October 01, 2020, 05:44:10 AM
If you are willing to sell, I'll happily buy your allocation of 500 CHF for 650$ in OTC deal for now. That way you can be risk free.

But it's upto you.

I am not sure how much you got but the amount that I received is 28 CHF, few of my friends received 40 CHF. I am pretty confused now how much were we supposed to receive?

It's not CHF, but ICP...

I got 119, also how can your frnds get 40 ICP?

The slabs are 28-119-238

ICP translates to CHF in ratio of like 4.x times... CHF is the currency of Switzerland, so they airdrop in base price terms was supposed to be 1000CHF, 500CHF and 100CHF

So that's how people got it...

Am I clear ?
77  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: defi exch trading vs normal exch trading on: October 01, 2020, 02:19:08 AM
Learn about Impermanent Loss in context of DeFi, it is the underlying theory of how DeFi actually works.

Cex will always have better depth imho, as you can place orders in limit while Dex pools act as Market orders in liquidity pools, which depend on arbitrageurs to balance out any difference in price between Cex and Dex pools.

Hope this helps, if u r a noob who is happy complying to regulations and all, then go for Cexes.
78  Local / India / Re: [INDEPENDENCE DAY RAFFLE] #7 - Pick a lucky number and win 0.001 bitcoin on: September 30, 2020, 01:13:31 PM

79  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: BitPe: Earn Bitcoin every time you shop on: September 30, 2020, 03:24:19 AM
Sounds really exciting, I would like to know more details. Any link or so for further research.

Also how is this working in India, does this use some international body to route funds or so, cause it seems unlikely that Indian institutions would engage directly in crypto at the moment.
80  Local / Alt Coins (India) / Re: Anyone claimed UNI tokens? on: September 30, 2020, 03:15:37 AM
I totally agree with webtricks, however I'm a skeptic of long term view on this and believe it to be a passing fad mostly... Just like UCOs in 2017... DeFi is the buzzword... The high eth fees are a buzzkill btw... For however long this lasts make hay... Also take a look at projects on Binance SC... Might have some gems .

I agree with you, DeFi wave won't last very long because the concept itself is not completely foolproof. But Uniswap has been into the picture from long ago i.e. since November 2018. It has now grown to very extensive scale. Unlike basic DeFi model which is lending/borrowing, Uniswap is an exchange providing instant trading using liquidity pool model. Even if DeFi buzz gets over, crypto users will still need an exchange to sell ERC-20 tokens and that's where Uniswap's utility won't get over easily.

Uniswap is much established and yes it won't lose it's edge over others, but it can't be denied that the massive volume it has witnessed recently won't sustain once DeFi craze gets over, also the high gas fees are a deterent for retail traders who would prefer CEX over DEX due to better UI and feeling of security.
