221  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GROUP BUY3] In-Stock Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S Ships on 12/20 & 12/21 on: December 19, 2013, 07:37:18 AM
Damn, I give up.

I'll take one from this group buy also.

So, 1 @ 4.2BTC as a current AntMiner Owner.

Going to bed now, so will complete the order when I get up.
222  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: (WTB) BFL Jalapeno and asicminer blade on: December 19, 2013, 03:46:42 AM
I have six BFL Jalapeno's and three ASICMiner Blades (10GH/s fixed model).

That will be three boxes shipped, two Large Flat rate (BFL's) and medium priority box (blades).

I think I can fit the three blades in a Region A box instead of the medium priority box.

Since we have already traded before, shipped to 66221 KS for 2.85BTC

If accepted, we'll work out the details in pm.
223  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GROUP BUY CLOS & SHIPPED] - ** GIVEAWAY ** BITMAIN AntMiner 180 GH/S 300 Units on: December 19, 2013, 01:00:22 AM
That X doesn't mean the chips are not working.  Please reboot a few times and most of them would go away.  It's a firmware bug....

As long as it's hashing at 179GH/S that means all the chips are hashing!!!

Received my miner and I have it up and running but was wondering about the hardware errors being so highon the stats page.

(image removed)

Will the stats improve if I run a local mining proxy like I do with my blades?

BTW, delivery was fast and right on time.  My Amazon 2-day delivery packages both did not show up even though they were due today.  Better mail from China with UPS than with USPS.....figures.

Looks like a couple of chips aren't working bro

Rebooting did get rid of the xxxx's.  All 00000000's now.

I tried using a mining proxy, but could not get the antminer to connect to it.  I just have it going straight to Eligius.  I tested it with bitminter also, ran good on both of them.

So far I like the performance.  To bad my new PS did not come in.  I had to shut down one of my 7950's on my scrypt miner to hijack the pci-e plugs to run the ant.  HX850 running one 7950 and the ant runs fine... for now.

Now I wish I would have gone ahead and order two of them.

Are all of your codes for the basic game?

I am looking for a "Digital Deluxe Edition".
226  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: (WTB) Block Eruptors .035 Btc ea on: December 17, 2013, 09:41:07 PM
I am adding this post here to give me a reference point for trust to be given.

I traded 63 usb erupters and an erupter block hub to DebitMe.

We split the payment into several payments and I shipped the items to him.  He has tested them and sent final payment.

Good person to trade with.  Responded to pm's quickly.  Will not hesitate to trade with again.

Thanks so much for your help. They were sent from my multi-bit wallet. The transaction has been showing 'seen by 1peer' for several day...

Don't really know what to do.

Many thanks
Gav

Actually I experienced something similar with Multibit a few days ago. I sent a small amount of bitcoins to one of my own addresses and noticed the transaction was only living in the multibit client but did not seem to be broadcasted properly. After resetting the Blockchain two times for all wallets and a few restarts of the client it finally forgot the transaction and showed the correct amounts and I could try again successfully.

You can reset your Blockchain using the "Tools" menu. It may take a while. Good luck!
Thanks for adding that info.  I have no experience with Multibit, so I cannot help with it.  Maybe others with Multibit experience can either chime in here or post links that Gav can use to help sort this out.
228  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] BFL and AMD Mining Gear on: December 17, 2013, 09:53:27 AM
If you are in the US, then I will take the two 7950's.  They will be shipped to Texas.

I offer 1.3 for a BFL Single.

My stats are frozen/ non updating.

Me too
Just a hang up somewhere.  We are still hashing so that is good.  They will correct/catchup the payouts later.

For some reason i am not included in the spreadsheet as per my purchase in #344
Please could you tell me why?

Sorry, I posted before but forgot to write you a PM too! Smiley

Code:
Sent 0.05 [btc] for 1 share from 15jAvgxDuZE26xsLuc5Lzr6vHWTRj3hfoM
TxID   c8ee33814af84ba29a59bbd318a7d7b4fdd2351d5134ad672adf6db06c0e01f6
Pls confirm?

THE Tx ABOVE ISN'T VALID. from reply #344 of this topic. (edited?)

user @gavgav claimed via PM the above payment but it doesn't result on the blockchain, the Tx ID is incorrect...
gavgav.  I see that you are new to bitcoins, so maybe I can help a little bit with the above info.

The .05 you show going out from 15jAvgxDuZE26xsLuc5Lzr6vHWTRj3hfoM did not happen.  If you look at the blockchain, you see that the coins you had there were sent to 1AA4KXpMhbPrMRojQZWUN1QEs3VHpuxEnp

That is where they are sitting at this moment as you can again see in the blockchain.

From what you posted and what we see on the blockchain, there is no transfer listed for .05 btc from either address.

For some reason, the total btc at the last address was sent several times to itself with .0003 btc being sent each time to another address.

Is this a local wallet or a wallet at one of the markets?
231  Other / Off-topic / Re: What video games do you play? on: December 15, 2013, 09:20:20 AM
Borderlands 2. I am playing the assassin guy who looks like an alien or robot.

Is anybody else playing BL2?
I have been playing BL2 on xbox for about a year now.  I had just started on the PC playing gaige, around level 34 now.

I had taken one of my scrypt miner machines off line as the cost of electricity vs mining was not worth it, so I set it up to game on.  Then BTC went way up in value and then scrypt eventually did the same thing.  The game machine has been mining again for the past 3 weeks now.

I bought StarCraft 2 during black friday but have not played it yet.  I just traded for an AMD BF4 redemption key that I have not installed yet.

233  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSED] batch #35 1.0 btc per CUBE 30Gh/s - 38Gh/s, 49 port hubs on: December 14, 2013, 11:13:11 PM
Ok so I purchased a Cosair CX750M this morning.  It works with the paper clip trick and seems to be running 2 cubes just fine. However, the power wasn't the issue causing the poor performance.  It is nice to have 2 units on one power supply and not have to run it off a computer though.

My LAN was on the 172.0.16.* subnet and it appears that any stratum proxy hates this (even if the cubes are configured to point at the proper address and do connect - they will under perform).

After moving to the 192.168.1.* subnet, the units are hashing at a combined 59-64 GH/S (in low mode).

So you must be on a 192.168.*.* at the very least . . .

The IPs should not matter as long as you are using the correct private network addresses and everything is configured correctly.

The 172.0.16.x network is part of the AT&T U-verse network, which is a public network.

Did you mean to use 172.16.0.x which is for private network use?
234  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [SOLD OUT] ASICMiner Cubes. 30-38gh/s - USA - 1 BTC - Price protection! on: December 14, 2013, 10:54:57 PM
You guys are right.  Slush's stratum proxy did get my Cube up to 37.9 GH/s on high clock.  Close enough.  Thanks again.

I started using the mining_proxy.exe a few days ago to use with my blades and I am very impressed.  I wanted to try it because of the "no midstate" (-nm) option.  I have been running it on my laptop and the blades efficiency are all running from 99.49% up to 99.71%.  I miss the miner stats using this proxy.  I use this laptop all day long to do my normal work and web viewing.

I have not tried running the proxy without the -nm switch to compare yet.  I have not figured out how to setup a backup pool with it yet.

Not to bash bfgminer any, as I use it for my BFL miners and my erupters, but as a proxy, my blades efficiency was 94-96%.  I could not find a compatible switch to use for the no midstate option.

I did like being able to get the miner stats using bfgminer.  It is also very easy to us another pool for backup mining.

Both have their pros and cons.  Try them both and see which works best for you.

I'll take one.
Sushi, my name is not yet on the list.

You sent me a pm 80 minutes after I made the above quoted post.  About 17 minutes later I sent you a pm reply with the transaction info, shipping address, and email address.

After looking at posts here and my payment time, I should be somewhere between 207 and 212.

(EDIT NOTE - Thanks for looking into this.  I appreciate the quick pm response.)

The 32 GPUs would be great if they were radeons.  Nvidia GPUs dont mine well at all.  Without changing the GPU's, you could do some CPU mining for some of the scrypt coins.  Check in the "Alternate Cryptocurrencies" section and the Bitcoin Wiki.

Not sure which coins are designed for "CPU" mining only, but I remember seeing some info about that in the past.

240  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Buy CPU, GPU, SSD etc From Amazon.Com with Bitcoins WITH DISCOUNT + ESCROW on: December 13, 2013, 12:08:23 AM
Dealing with AbiTxGroup at the moment  Cheesy
We are just waiting for Amazon to actually ship the dang thing.  Free shipping means they take their sweet ol'time to ship it.

So far, dealing with Inglewood has been really positive.  He put the item onto coingig and I made the purchase, so we are using the coingig escrow.  As soon as Amazon sends the tracking info, its being delivered straight to me from Amazon, I will release the escrow.  I do not see any future problems with this deal and I have chatted with Ken at coingig support several times with other deals there.

As I said above, so far all is good dealing with Inglewood.

Would I do another deal with him.....well, I am thinking about another GPU for one of my scrypt miners, so, Yeah.
