When did yours ship.  I don't see your name on the shipping list.  What part of the country are you in?

On the 20th. I ordered it via another account. It was shipped to northern Europe.
OK.  Thanks.  I seen the 67 USD and got excited about deliveries to the US.  Looked right over the "equivalent" part.   Sad

Some seriously fast shipping. Had to pick it up in the evening at UPS distribution center. The UPS woman on the phone said the customs duty would be around 67USD equivalent. The people at the distribution center looked at me like I was crazy when I offered to pay. So..yeah, maybe I will get a bill for a "computer game gateway", maybe not. Not complaining. The unit itself arrived in perfect condition and is currently running at the advertised speed.

Mine shipped on the 21st according to the list.  I am in Texas.  No tracking yet.  Nothing from UPS today, hopefully it will arrive tomorrow.  My antminer from the 2nd groupbuy arrived in 2 days, because of time changes.  Here is the big time change (read from bottom up):

Did these actually ship? I got nothing here. No tracking number, no package, nothing.  Plenty of info during group buy number 2 but nothing this time. Huh

Sushi has just emailed all tracking #s for gb 2. He will have the #s soon. I think.
I hope you meant gb 3.  I received gb 2 last week.   Wink

majority of the buyer on ebay are scammers, i tried twice selling asicminer cards, they both got paypal claim and charged back the money after mining it for a month, paypal doesn't care and always side with the buyer.
selling on ebay is very risky, for the seller.

Even if you flag the purchase with No Refunds ?

I am contemplating unloading a number of ASICMiner Erupter USB's, Blades, and Avalon products on EBay to make room for more efficient gear, but these horror stories of EBay selling give me pause.

On a related note, eagerly anticipating the next group buy.
If you figure out a good way to move the stuff, let us know.  I have a few ASICMiner blades and six Jalapeno's I want to sell to make room for more antminers.  I had a bunch of the erupters, but I sold them for my cost to another forum member here.  I dont like paypal charge backs either.

The payout config is still dorked up.

Here is what my miner shows on the stats page now:

Quote
Estimated Position in Payout Queue
Approximately 0.25438435 BTC remaining to enter payout queue. Maintaining your 3 hour hashrate average, this will take at least another 3 days, 7 hours and 9 minutes at current network difficulty of 1180923195.26.

This is the same thing that it has said before the last two payouts, well close to that as the payout I set was .25.

But, I have had three payments now at 0.11445349 BTC, 0.11178691 BTC, 0.11788183 BTC.  I had even resent a new signed message to get the payout at .25 and the config page accepted it.....again.

Like I said in my last post about this, I am glad that I do get paid, its just that trying to set a higher payout has not worked on this.
205  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 7950 GPU and 3 256 GB SSD's for sale. on: December 23, 2013, 08:53:11 AM
C'mon people, don't miss this fantastic opportunity!  There's an ebay auction ending in less than an hour for a motherboard I can put 2 GPUs in, and if I get it, the 7950 is staying!

The SSDs will still be for sale though.
So, did you get the mb?

If not, I will offer 16 LTC for the used 7950.
206  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: computer for sale on: December 23, 2013, 05:19:54 AM
I'm interested in the mb, cpu, ram.

I dont have a use for the rest.  Unless the 160GB hd is a SSD, then I am interested in it also.

dunno, the each PSU is only about 4 months old. Only one PCI-E on each PSU/ANT got hot and melted.

does anyone have any experience setting these up on ubuntu? trying to help a friend but i suck  Tongue

It should be fairly easy. Just ensure that he's on the same subnet as the antminer (white sticker on the control board tells you its default IP address). So in ubuntu he can go to the "network" tray applet at the top right of the screen (depending on whether he's using Unity or the classic Gnome based environment) and manually set the IP address of the LAN adapter to 192.168.2.x, subnet mask 255.255.255.0, etc. The network manager tray applet should look like two up and down arrows (1 up 1 down).

He can also run the network manager app by typing "sudo network-manager" or "sudo network-manager-gnome"

okay, i think i did the above last night(like the windows instructions), but still could not login to the miner ip.

They are set up and mining, but using my windows laptop, he still can't access them from his ubuntu system.

Don't suppose you have  instructions for making the miners work via a cable connection?
Something is not right here.

For one thing, if you have them setup an mining while using you windows laptop, then they are setup.  They do not "need" a windows nor a linux machine to run.  They are stand alone miners.

You need to set the network info, the pool info, and set your local time, and you are good to go.  To monitor it locally, you use a browser connecting to the IP address that you reconfigured the antminer to.

You can access the antminer control screen from any web browser that is connected to the local network.  I just connected to mine with my iphone3gs, my lubuntu laptop, and my win7 laptop using safari, chromium, and firefox.

If you can get to the antminer control screen using a windows browser, then the problem is with his ubuntu system.

im running 2 antminers perfectly with a 1000 W PSU
My antminer showed up on time but my powersupply was a day late because of FedEx.

So I took one of my GPU miners, disconnected a 7950, and used those two PCI-e leads to run the antminer.  It ran that way until late the next day when I finally received my new Corsair TX850M to run the antminer.  All is running good.

I am waiting for my group 3 antminer to show up now.  I pulled an old Dell 4u dual xeon system and a old supermicro 4u dual xeon server that I used as database servers many years ago.  They both have dual hot swap power supplies in them.  I am working on connections to put these to use with ASIC miners.  I have a few 1u and 2u servers in storage, I'll have to see if I can use them also.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 GPU setup issues on: December 21, 2013, 07:45:14 PM
Alright I have found that 5 cards is probably too much for this system.

Here is what I did, I unplugged all the cards and just plugged them in one at a time to see which would work. Only 2 of the 5 would work on their own and give video to my monitor.

All these cards are new so I don't understand why they are not working on their own. I have two cards working on the system and when I plug in another one the computer will load and then freeze shortly after. I have ordered the dummy plugs as well as been looking at shorting the 1x port as described in other posts. Any other ideas?
For some reason, maybe the firmware got corrupted on the cards that wont work anymore.  I had that happen to a couple of my Sapphire 7950's when I was trying to find the best hashing rate.  I over did it with one of my configs and 2 of 3 cards firmware corrupted.  They had the firmware switch on them, so I powered down and moved the switch to the second position and they worked again.  I then moved the switch back and reflashed them both.  I had created a usbkey to boot dos from to flash the cards.  See if that helps.

I searched around for some pics of the card to see if you have the firmware switch on the card, but I could not find an pic that was clear enough.

Here is a pic of the switch on the top of my 7950 card.

Holy Shit almost 7 hours and 5.59 billion shares, that was a hell of a block!!!

It would be nice to find 5 or 6 in a row now.   Last time we had a long run we had some good luck afterwards.  Just hoping for some more follow-up luck.

Never used Netflix or Hulu.  If I get one of these egift codes, do I need to spend any more money to use it for the year?
212  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Buy CPU, GPU, SSD etc From Amazon.Com with Bitcoins WITH DISCOUNT + ESCROW on: December 20, 2013, 08:44:46 PM
Dealing with AbiTxGroup at the moment  Cheesy
We are just waiting for Amazon to actually ship the dang thing.  Free shipping means they take their sweet ol'time to ship it.

So far, dealing with Inglewood has been really positive.  He put the item onto coingig and I made the purchase, so we are using the coingig escrow.  As soon as Amazon sends the tracking info, its being delivered straight to me from Amazon, I will release the escrow.  I do not see any future problems with this deal and I have chatted with Ken at coingig support several times with other deals there.

As I said above, so far all is good dealing with Inglewood.

Would I do another deal with him.....well, I am thinking about another GPU for one of my scrypt miners, so, Yeah.
Left feedback at coingig, but forgot to do it over here.

I have the Dell.  Thanks for the deal Inglewood.

The trade with Inglewood was straight forward and worked out great.  The problem/delay was with Amazon not shipping.  I ended up upgrading shipping to 2-day and then they finally shipped, it even made it on time for a change.

I am leaving positive feedback here now.

I setup a new miner here and modded my payout to .25.  The signed message was accepted and today a second payout is in a queue for a lot less than .25.  Is there something wrong with the payout settings?

My other miner that has been running for a while now, has no problem with the settings that I set.  Just this new setup has the problem.

1st payout was for 0.1178 btc and this one in the queue is at 0.06325440.  Both are above the default minimum, but not close to the .25 that I set.

I dont mind being paid of course, just wondering about the config settings working or not.

Thanks guys ... i thought it would be the same as in cgminer, HW = Hardware Errors and Accepted = Accepted Shares ..

I have not overclocked and my Firmware is OpenWrt Barrier Breaker r38031 / LuCI Trunk (svn-r9909)

thanks Smiley
Here is a formula that giletto posted here to figure hardware error percentage.

HW/(HW+DiffA+DiffR)%

LOL.  The poster above me beat me to posting.  I was looking for the reference link.

I just got mine!  However, there was a bad wire (looks like it broke off the connector).

I hope they can just send me a replacement wire harness.

http://dec.imghost.us/rWmp.jpg

I'm definately not going to power it up or anything in case it damages the unit.  Please help, sushi!  Can't hash without it, lol.

Got mine since Dec 13 and I still haven't been able to use it properly due to the broken ribbon cable.  Radio Shack does not any anything that would work.  The temp fix is too temp... Wire would not make contact after a short while.

Lost a good window of luck at BTCGuild. Sad
Can't you remove the pin from the plug and recrimp/solder the wire back to the pin?  The pin has a little tab that sticks out from the pin to catch on the connector to keep the pin in the connector.  You need something with an inside diameter just a little larger than the pin to compress the tab and push the pin out.  You may be able to bend the tab with a paperclip also.  I am not at home atm, otherwise I would take some pics for you.  For some examples using a molex connector, try searching google for "molex pin extractor".  Most connectors are the same as these.  I will check my antminer when I get home later to see.
