181  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: SOLD OUT [GROUP BUY 3] In-Stock Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S Ships on 12/20&12/21 on: December 28, 2013, 11:31:34 PM
by the way folks could you suggest a pool for the antminer to work in ?
I use Eligius.  No signup, just use your BTC address and mine away.

For backup, I use Bitminter.  I started using this one as I already had a google account that I could use to login with.
182  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Hashfast mining with customer gear? on: December 28, 2013, 06:58:34 AM
The default for the antminers had btcguild, a bitman-pool (testnet?), and one other (50 something pool), but not Eligius.  I had to put the entries for Eligius and BitMinter into my ants.
183  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Hashfast mining with customer gear? on: December 28, 2013, 05:48:02 AM
Looks like we've been victims of Hanlon's razor in regards to believing HashFast was mining with their customer's hardware. Turns out they've been unable to create a reliable PCB for the chip and are trying revision 2 now. Looks like they couldn't mine even if they wanted to... yet Wink

Wait so which lie should we believe?  On the 20th  the board was "performing marvelously".

LOL

Busted.

Same here.  All of my miners went to my backup pool.  My new Antminers started beeping like hell when they lost connection to Eligius before the autoswitched to the backup pool.

I wish I had an app that would warn me that connection was lost to the current pool for my windows based miners.
185  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Hashfast mining with customer gear? on: December 28, 2013, 02:11:15 AM
*watching*
Same here.

Blast the network with customer machines, get the reward until the difficulty catches up, then deliver the miners to the customers at the high difficulty.

Need some good detective work to find the IP of the suspected miner.  Link it to the company.  Then get the attorneys involved.  This could be good, especially since this case would cross state lines and become a federal case.

Hashcows Official Update
.....

1) i didn't want to change anything on my account til you noted it as being one that was effected---i believe you have , so is it ok now for me to change my address back to one i had before and change my pin and other credentials now?

2)based off your quote" Hascows will be re-imbursing every miner 100% of losses incurred on earnings made within the last 7 days prior to the incident (Dec 17th's payout inclusive). This means any funds you earned between Dec 17th and Dec 24th that were cashed out of your account by the attacker, will be re-added to your account at Hashcows expense. This payout will recover 100% of losses for 463 of the 754 affected users. For the remaining 291 users who are only partially covered by the above, we'll be offering reduced fees of 0.5% for at least the next 60 days to help with any shortfall."

i had last requested a payout on , so im assuming i lost 100% of my payouts on 12/13(0.00012345)
 12/14(0.0000943000)
 12/15(0.00020599)
 12/16 (0.00012939)
and will get 12/17-12/24 full payouts. am i correct in assuming this?

Yes, exactly. And for what You lost from 13-17 / 12 I can reimburse You personally, just send me Your BTC adress (Yours signature is so messy that its not showing correctly) and exact amount - I dont want to waste my time by counting theese tiny numbers (honestly it canīt cover Your electricity bill)

i do not have a electricity bill as it is already included as part of my rent. And yes while my electricity is basically free, these numbers would not normally pay for electricity but for me its the only video card i have and my only way to mine currently. My point in posting this was not to get reimbursed but to make sure i knew what was going on, so that i can update my spreadsheet according.Thank you for your offer.
Your total loss for the days and amounts you stated are less the 90 cents.  Thats four days of power to not even make a full dollar in return.  That doesn't even cover the cost of fries at McDonald's.  You really should not be mining with that setup.  I'm amazed that you even posted the info.
187  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [875Th] Eligius: ASIC, no registration, no fee CPPSRB BTC + 105% PPS NMC, 877 # on: December 27, 2013, 07:08:52 PM
Payout queues are dorked again.  One of my miners is half again over its auto payout level.  Been sitting in the queue for over 8 hours now.

Mining is still good though.
188  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining rig running too hot on: December 27, 2013, 02:35:26 PM
Get rid of the case.   My GPU miners are sitting on a shelf.

As the post above me stated, lower your voltages.

Pics would help a lot so we can see what you are physically dealing with.

Hey all.  Just wanted to say a little bit about dealing with nearmiss.

I have pm's to and from him all the way back to May.  He has always been quick to reply when there was any problem with one of his pools.  He may be delayed some, but what would you rather have, him spending time posting here or off working on the problem?

I am glad that nearmiss and aTriz found what the problem was and are fixing it.  Replacing lost funds is great and a lot more than some have done in the past.

The negative "trade" trust given to nearmiss is just wrong.  Operating a pool is not the same as making a trade with you.  So they had problems with a pool.  Why give them a negative trade trust.  But alas, there is always abuse to the systems that we have here.

I am still mining with hashco.ws and have been throughout this ordeal.

Thanks nearmiss and aTriz.

Wow!!!.  10 new post while I was trying to create this one.  This is in response to a so called "con whois info".

I'm just simply doing the same thing as you Tolega, avoiding the question I've asked you from the Beggining. Why did you con the whois information to your information?

We will see if this is a Pure scam when people receive their goods. As of now, you aren't worth my time, a con artist and liar isn't worth anyones time.

If anyone wants to read back and his WHOIS report and see the one I proved him wrong on please do so.
Here is fresh whois info links to the "raw data":

CoinElectronics.com

phones4btc.com - This one shows an update (Dec 27th) that was done after the first whois post with new names.  The whois info posted before in this thread was last updated on Dec 22.  So, the owner of the site has made changes since the previous two whois reports were identical to each other.

mine was supposed to be shipped on 21 dec. but still no movement. I called UPS but they said they received bill and shipment info but not the package itself . You're lucky the your antminer left china and on its way Sad  sushi is looking into this but i fear i won't be able to get it before new year.
Hope they figure out where yours is and get it to you soon.

Mine did show up Thursday afternoon.  It made it into town on Tuesday, but it was 10am and the local UPS distro was closed to walk-in customers, so I had to wait.  Its up and running now.

Something wrong with the payout queue?  Seen about 4 blocks go by with no change to balance.

Payout queue page shows 0BTC. Shocked
There is just a failure from the database to the webserver.  I am still showing shy of an auto payout on the status page, but the payout came in a long time ago.  If you check the blockchain for any of the latest blocks and you will see that payouts are happening.

The mining still goes on, uninterrupted.

The only purchaser is a Jr member with 9 post count?

No there have been many by now, but they just haven't bothered posting.

I'd like to purchase one code from you here vs your site.

You send me a valid code and post a BTC address here.  I'll verify the code and pay to the address.
Sure, I'll do that. Let me get a code to send you, I'll PM you when I am ready.
miaviator,

I am interested in how your deal goes.  I also have trust issues but would like to purchase a code.
196  Economy / Digital goods / Re: (20 in stock) 12 Month Netflix Instant eGift Codes! $13 ea! $150 for all. on: December 25, 2013, 03:21:46 AM
Has anyone bought one of these yet?

I ask only as I do not see any trust for this new user selling these cards.

I am interested to buy a code, just not in sending btc to someone new with no trust feedback here.
197  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] 100$ Steam Wallet Code on: December 25, 2013, 03:16:14 AM
You can try Gametimezone to purchase steam cards for btc.  They carry $20 and $50 cards.

I have purchased steam cards and zeevex cards from them.  Instant email delivery for all of my purchases, so far.

200  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Buy CPU, GPU, SSD etc From Amazon.Com with Bitcoins WITH DISCOUNT + ESCROW on: December 24, 2013, 05:56:34 AM
WTF,

I can't vouch for  Inglewood but I can vouch that the service is entirely possible.  Why would you buy from amazon at full price if he is offering 10% off and escrow and BTC payments?

I would use him if it was legitimate (and it may be).  I can't justify it though.  What would be in it for him?  He's taking a 10% hit.
I bought a Dell Venue 8 Pro from him using Amazon and Coingig.  I will be buying again with his assistance after the holidays.  He is legit.  If you need some ram, a hdd, or a new power supply, give him a try.  If you have good rep here, I don"t see a problem making a deal with him.
